Monday- 13 DAYS

Rima

Staring at the message, I tried to think about who last I had given my number to. 'I have had no reason to give my number out. I have no friends. The only time someone could of seen my number is if I dropped the paper that had it....WHICH HAD DROPPED WHEN ALEX BUMPED INTO ME! Is it him? Did he love me too? Did he bother to remember my number, because he was interested?' I had recently changed my number and needed to remember it so I kept it written on a scrap piece of paper in my notebooks. Once that thought came to my mind, I headed up to the third floor. Each floor had 50 classrooms at least.

Walking up the stairwell quickly and quietly, I made my way to room 110. During the orientation, the teachers had announced it was open campus. That meaning we could walk around, but they preferred we checked out our classes. Spotting the number 110, My smile grew as I get closer. 'A club room?' The door read Journalism from the younger generation. Black paper covered the windows besides the door, and a paper was taped onto the door, stating that students were concentrating.

Opening the door I walked in confused with the empty classroom. All the lights were powered off, and only the light from the few computer spaces showed through the darkness. One large computer decorated the main back wall, and windows were covered by heavy curtains. 'The room seems abandoned. Was it sent to the wrong person? Where is my precious Alex? I feel as if I am intruding'

"Hello Inah," a voice said

The voice was stern. With simply two words it still seemed laced with potential venom. I turned around to see a girl with jet black hair held back with a read headband. Her icy blue eyes, that were slightly covered by her bangs, held a gaze on me that made me want to take a slight step back. She never turned away, and stared at me with confidence that shown above all.

My awkwardness had started to settle in. I needed to speak, but I couldn't bring myself to do so.

"Who are you? And how do you know my name?" I managed to ask

"My name will have to be a secret. I like to keep a low profile, but some people call me Lucy. I'm very glad you chose to join me. Thankfully fast too. Although it was because you thought I was someone else, I do not mind," she snickered after she spoke.

Questions upon questions piled on as I thought deeper about the girl, 'Lucy', that stood before me. 'People in this school must know her real name, right? This girl is enrolled she must be known.'. Besides her name, what worried me the most was how she got in contact with me.

"How did you...get my number?"

" I collect information on the students enrolled in this school. There is never really a thing that I would not know about. I have my ways. Although most would find it twisted, observing and discovering the hidden things of lives is a little hobby of mine. I actually am really good with collecting information if I say so my self. It is how I gained my nickname. Lucy comes from Lucifer. I'm quite the snake," she said starting to walk towards me with a chuckle.

I stood there Shocked, because of the new information that I had to take in. The girl was not to be trusted in any shape of form. Her manipulativeness was clear as day. With the smirk that was uphold on her face since I walked in danger was an obvious red flag.

"My specialty is finding out people's deepest darkest secrets. So finding out your phone number was a trivial task," She leaned on the table across from me

Her true nature shined through her cute idealistic facade. Her head was down as it seemed she tried to hide her face now that she was close. To believe this girl would be crazy, but at the same time to figure out my number might have proved her to say the truth.

"If you so easily gather information, why come after me? Also if you know everything so well, say something about me then," Smiling at the thought of getting the best of her, I gave myself an imaginary pat on the back. The thought of triumph slowly faded as I saw she only grew an evil smile on her pale pink lips, and narrowed her eyes.

"Little Rima Inah, a girl in 10th grade, was running late to school on the first day. Today she met Alex, a 11th grade upperclassmen of hers, and fell in love with him at first sight..." she paused for a moment to take in the look of fear that was on my face from the constant truth she spoke out

"Oh not only that. This is where we find out she was a stalker. She followed him around, until the meeting in the auditorium. She couldn't find herself to stop there though. She continued to try and follow him up to his locker until she lost sight of him.  It was there at her locker a girl distracted her" she continued with ease

My heart stopped for a second at her words. Even though this happened only moments ago and I seemed to be alone, her ability did not stop her from finding out. She knew what happened this morning when the streets seamed bare. She knew I was staring when I was sure no one saw. 'How can she just know this stuff anyway?'

"How...How would you possibly know that?"

This girl was interesting. 'Lucy' did not scare me. Not in the least. With how athletic I was it would be easy to take her down. Well nearly anyone really. My arms seemed slim, but once when a football player wanted someone to arm wrestle, I had beaten him. Although I wasn't afraid of her, but she posed a deep threat. She easily could find out that I was someone who would be labeled as strange and that could not get out. What if Alex knew. I could never let him know I stared at him. I loved him and he could never love me back if he knew that.

"Like I said 'learning secrets is my specialty' . I want to be able to do investigation journalism, and to practice I use my skills in this school," she says as she grins evilly like the Cheshire cat.

"That's nice, but now I'm really creeped out..." I say "What..Do you want with me?" I continue

"I have some information that you would like to know. That girl who you saw with the picture of is Mya Riayla" she spoke

'Did she plan for me to see Maya...does she have power to make that happen.... To swing an event her way?' Finding out the girls name did not fill me with we ease at the thought of her. The name still fills me with a new found anger that continues boiling up inside me at what possible things she could want with Alex. 'Alex is mine! My soul mate!' The voice inside my head yelled to reasure myself and screeched at every little thought that popped up in my head about that piece of garbage known as Mya. 'I don't share!'

"As you can guess, she has had a crush on your precious Steifler for some time now. Actually she has for a very long time. She plans on confessing two weeks from today, on Friday. Seems nothing can stop her from asking. Just a little heads up though. Steifler is one who when someone tells him about their feelings...he could never turn them down. So if she confesses he is guaranteed to accept her feelings," she says as my heart stops at the new going information

"Are you serious! No this is bad he is mine! W-why are you telling me all this? To try and hurt me?"

"I am the president of the Journalism From The Younger Generation. I produce and distribute the papers for the school, and write on its webpage. It is how I plan to prepare myself for being a journalist. Sadly almost no one wanted to read my papers even though I poured my heart and soul into every article-" she started but I interrupted her

"I'm sorry to hear this, but that doesn't answer my question..." I say slightly annoyed

She stared at me irritated. Bothered by my rudeness. She started again as if I said nothing at all, paying no attention to my side comment.

"-Maybe if there was more drama in this school I could write something juicy for the school paper. Something so amazing for our schools blog. So say if something were to happen to Riayla from now and  Friday-," she continues. I caught her off again causing her to make a sour face in my direction

"Wait! Are you asking me to...hurt..Riayla?" I whisper yelled in shock

"Oh don be silly..-" she starts and I sigh in only for it to quickly leave "-I want you to kill her. She won't be able to tell her feelings to Steifler, and I get a juicy story for my paper of the unfortunate misfortune that fell upon her," she smiles

My breath hitches "Kill her?"

"Why of course! If a murder or disappearance happened at Hakasen Academy naturally students would want to know what would happen! And of course my newspaper would leave them with every last bit of detail of her demise-except for the fact who committed the crime: you. I wouldnt tell a soul of your involvement. It would be even better if you kidnapped or killed a few more students! You could just injure them, but that wouldnt help either of us. I need more stories, and you need Steifler. It works so well in the end. The more stories I have for my newspaper the better. Just don't kill all the students. I need some people to read the paper. Just imagine it now! The student going a bit mad at how there might be aserial killer going after people of our happy little school! The more people you could stir up the more students who would want to turn to my newspaper for answers," she laughed at her plans

'What a sick thing to laugh at!The want to feel normal pushes the idea against this...It would be an easy way to get with my only love' I ran my options in my head. 'Why am I even considering this? This should not have to be a choice where I have to double check with myself'

"You're...YOU'RE INSANE!"

"And you fell in love with a person after colliding in the middle of the street. That is not normal either " she said in a teasing tone

"You don't understand. Meeting with him was clearly a meet of fate. He is my soul mate! We belong together! It's...IT'S DESTINY!" I say my eyes narrowing as I felt as I could injure her for trying to convince me otherwise of what was obvious fact

"And I don't doubt you for one second. And so you would be willing to do anything to be with your soul mate...wouldn't You?" She asked

"Of course!" I say 'Is my love being underestimated?!'

"Then kill her," she says narrowing her eyes

"But-" I start

"Don't worry I will support you every step of the way! We can be friends! We can be on first name bases isn't that nice? For once to have a friend" She said as a smile fell on her face

'Friends...Something I have never had before...'

"If you send me photos of any students face...I'll Send you every information I know about them that is up to date! I can even give you favors...if-" She starts

"If?" I ask

"I need a payment!" She announces finally

'So friends need to give payment...'

"Payment?"

"I need nudes. Yes that sounds awful but deary dont worry they aren't for me. I need nudes of girls from school," she states calmly

"You...You want me to take pictures of my classmates!?"

"Well, you see. I know many boys...Girls even who will pay me good money for good nudes! A girl has to make money somehow ," she says

"I don't know if I could take pictures of my classmates...Let alone kill someone..."

"Of, course you can. You love Steifler so much you said you would do anything you have to. Every evil though that runs through your head is what you want. Being a killer is what runs through out your blood. You are clearly want this you can't deny. ," she states again

"I-"

"You have 13 days remaining to get this all done. Of course not counting today. 13 days to kill Riayla and maybe even a few more," she pauses at the door and looks over her shoulder "Don't disappoint, or even think about telling anyone about this conversation," she said in a menacing tone shocking me

"You can download an app that will delete our messages as soon as youve read and gotten out of it. Ill send you the name of it, and I hope to hear news of your plans soon" she spoke not ecen looking at me.

Fixing her head band and then opening the door, Lucy left leaving me alone in the abandoned classroom.

'13 days...'
