Swara looks at the nurse and takes swarnali from her and enters into the cabin... she sees sanskar placing a sleeping swapnil on the examining bed in her room... she placed swarnali also with him... sanskar waited for swara... she pulls the curtain and stands in front of him...

"Swara..." Sanskar holds her hand... swara looks at him and waits for his talk... but Sanskar remains silent... he couldn't decipher what he should say this time... will she think that he is preferring his family if he asks her to think professionally... but he is not thinking like that... he is thinking about her only... cause he knows now may be she is thinking something... ummm... don't know may be about her life struggle whatever ragini's extended family did with her... but at the end she won't be in peace thinking she had the opportunity to save someone and she didn't... and somewhere it will always eat her from inside till her death...

"Am i doing wrong..." she asks looking into his eyes...

"Swara..." he stopped as the door opened and here came some of his family members and ragini's also...

"Sanskar chhora..." Sujata looks at him astonished...

"Swara..." shomi says and comes to her... swara steps aside looking at her... sanskar holds her by shoulder which shocked maheshwaries...

"Swara please... please save my daughter please..." she folds her hand...

"Swara please... i am sorry for whatever i have done to you... i am sorry... don't punish my baby and wife..." laksh says coming to her...

Sujata's whole concentration was on sanskar...

"You all know right I am infertile?" she asked, tilting her face a little and crossing hands on her chest...

All are shocked hearing her question...

"And inauspicious, and bad omen... what did mrs gadodia said when mrs laksh maheshwary got pregnant... we won't hire swara... this type of girl eats children... having black eye..." she tries to remember the taunts she heard when ragini asked swara to be her doctor... sanskar looks at her shocked then at all with rage filled eyes...

"What if laksh, i eat your child during delivery..." swara asks, raising her eyebrows... "or do some black magic... are not you all fearing about it..."

All looks at her helpless... shomi started to cry, bowing her head...

"Swara, please... ragini is your sister... for saving her you..." laksh stopped... "she has always loved you swara... admired you... believe me... you know what she said when we were coming here with her... she said she is getting the fruits of her did..."

Swara looks away...

"She was not at fault swara... never... she was always the puppet... 1st of her dadi's hand then mine and my family's... she didn't deserve it..." he says looking down and falls on his knees...

" if i never did anything wrong to anyone, with anyone, then you and your family and that maheshwary family will fall on my shwaru's feet..." shobha's words ringed in shomi's ear looking at laksh... shomi sits on her knees extending her anchal(veil) "please save her please..." swara looks at all and goes out of the room running... Sanskar was about to follow her but Sujata held him by his arm...

"What's all this sanskar..." she said, holding him...

"What..." he gets annoyed and tries to go out...

"What are you doing with her..." sujata asks urgently...

"Mom is this more important to you now? I need to go... i need to check on her... leave me" sanskar gets frustrated,

"Check on her? Who is she to you... what's happening here?"

"She is my fiance... see this (he shows his engagement ring) now happy? You got your answer... now leave me" he goes out as sujata's hand slips down...

All were looking at him stunned as he rushed out of the cabin... ram sujata laksh sharmishta....

Sharmishta thinks to call her mother... she goes out, getting up from the floor...

"Swara" sanskar sits on the bench closely to her...

"Am I doing wrong? They were still blaming me... taunting me..."

"Will you think me biassed if I say you should do your duty?"

Swara looks at him...

"Just think for a second keeping aside everything... will you be at peace thinking you didn't help someone being a doctor... maybe if you try you can save them... maybe it's god's wish to bring her child through your hand... and when we will be old, our hair will be white, some of the teeth will be gone and will be sitting in this kind of hospital on those white bed and think what we did in life, won't you regret that time for not doing this operation and try to save them?"

Swara looks at his eyes then looks down...

"You will be with me right? Whatever will happen you won't leave my side?" swara asked, looking at his face...

"I will... I will always... against everyone in this world..." he says holding her hand tightly... Swara gets up with Sanskar and enters the hospital...

"Bachche?" she asked while walking in the lobby...

"I am here, don't take tension..." they entered the cabin and swara washed her face hands... then pecking on the kid's head she goes out towards the operation theater...

All the family members look at swara coming with a straight face with a hurried step while reading the file...

"Swara" laksh and sharmistha says urgently...

She didn't acknowledge them and entered the cabin...

There was a passage in between the main operation table and the room which was separated with curtains... she can see parvati gadodia and annapurna maheshwary are there...

"Annapurna ji... that dayen... you saw what that dayen did..." swara heard in between ragini's painful moans and gasps, parvati's voice was clear... the nurse helped her in getting ready with the sky blue dress...

"Stop it dadi... you know what... you are the dayen of my life... for you all today... my... my baby is suffering... i hate you... you are taking my baby's life slowly... i know" ragini says between her heavy breath...

"How could you say this to me lado..." parvati says, shocked...

"Stop making her agitated..." swara says entering the theater... "Nasrin, take them out now..." she ordered...

"Didi..." ragini says with difficulty... swara cares her hair loving... "nothing will happen... just relax..."

"I... i am sorry..." she says with heavy breath... "i could not do anything... never..."

"Sssshhh... shhhh... don't think about all this... think about the baby... it will be as beautiful as you..." she tried to calm her giving her injection and asked the nurse to put jelly on her stomach for ultrasonography...

"It won't come i know... it will punish her mother for betraying her massi..."

"Nothing will happen... now relax" swara examined closely the baby's position and the umbilical cord around it...

The nurse gasped looking at the screen... with her career of 5 years, she has never seen any case like this...

Swara takes out sonography pictures and asks Nasrin to make her ready for the operation, after taking her necessary blood sample for testing and checking her bp...

"Ragini... don't lose hope... a mother's willpower can save her baby from anything... so think about your baby and clutch him with all your might... what do you want a boy or girl..."

"Boy..." ragini gasped as another contraction hit her...

"Boy... good... say your boy... hold a little... his masi will take him out soon... believe me i will try my best... i won't let anything happen to you"

"Believe me i won't let anything happen to you..." a 14 years old swara said the same phrase as she roll near her sister ragini after hitted by the speedy car, her blood covered hand placed on her cheek seeing her(ragini) closing her eyes and the blood oozing from the small cut on head...

Ragini nodes feeling the same warmth from the same hand which cups her cheek... and she knew she would be saved...

Swara comes out from the room and walks to maheshwaries...

"Two of you all come to my cabin..." swara says professionally... swara walks ahead hurriedly...

"Hey..." sanskar looks at her coming through the door... swara gives him a small smile...

"Dida called... she is coming... i asked one of my office cab to pick her up..." he informs...

Swara knew this... so she just nodded and sat on her chair... Sanskar was about to say further but stopped seeing Durga prasad and laksh maheshwary coming...

Swara gestures to them to sit...

Swara starts to explain the whole situation showing them the sonography report and all...

"So mr maheshwary are you understanding the gravity of the situation..."

Laksh nodes weakly...

"I will try my best to save both but in case any emergency situation comes who you want to sa..." swara stopped as a faint cry comes through the close curtain... swara looks at sanskar as he hurriedly goes there and soon comes with crying swarnali...

"Mamma" she cried in sleep...

"Swapnil woke her up..." sanskar says as he gives her to Swara bending to her... swara takes her on her lap...

"What happened to my betu han... bhai woke you up... we will not talk to bhai... only mamma and betu will play okay..."

"Han" swarnali says in a crying sleepy voice... "mamma mimi" she says rubbing her face on her chest...

"Han baba la rahe hai..."

"No need" shobha entered while opening her bag...

"My angel my sweetu... come to meemaw..." shobha extended her hand...

"Meemaw???" swara and sanskar asked at the same time...

"I was watching young sheldon... Sheldon and his siblings call their grandma... meemaw... I am also cool like her so I will teach them to call me meemaw..." shobha says coolly...

"And you disgusting man just bring your grandmother in law and mother in law here..." shobha says pointing to laksh...

Laksh gulps the insult and walks out of the cabin... durgaprasad continued to see swara smiling at swarnali as she refused to go to dida and stays with her... soon swarnali sleeps drinking her mimi...

"Why did you call me?" parvati enters yelling loudly...

"Low your voice... you don't have to prove that you belong to a jallad family..." Shobha says in a low voice...

Swara comes again placing swarnali on bed...

"I want you both to sign this paper..."

"Dida what are you doing, we don't have time..." swara asks frowning... as her assistant comes with ragini's blood report and all...

"You stay quiet... sign it"

Laksh looks at the paper frowning, he was about to read it...

"You want your wife alright or not... you delay more my swaru will delay more..." shobha says...

Swara nodes her head and asks laksh to do sign papers...

"You didn't say whom i have to save if any emergency happened..."

"Save my daughter in law..." durga prasad says...

Swara nodes looked at him... then she looked at Sanskar, who was standing at the corner...

He smiles at her and mouthed all the best... she smiles acknowledging... swara goes out of the cabin hurriedly...

It's been one hour... all are waiting for her...

Sujata sees Sanskar coming from outside... he came after dropping dida and babies at bose house...

She walks to him and drags him aside...

"What happened mom..."

"What is all this sanskar... how could you do this han... how?"

"What did i do?"

"You got engaged with that girl..."

"Her name is swara to whom you all were begging some time before..."

"Why her... sanskar... did you listen, what she is... she is infertile..."

"I know mom.." he gritted... "and i already have two babies... and india already has 130cr population... two more from my side is enough contribution... i don't want more..."

"If you wanted to marry, why didn't you tell me... i would have searched for someone who can be matched with you..."

"I want a wife as well as my baby's mother, mom... not some one who would be a perfect step mother for my babies... who would throw them out of my life as soon as she enters... I want someone who could be a bridge between us, not someone who would be a wall between me and my babies... i heard your plan mom... and you know what i will appreciate you more if you show your real face to me instead of your facade..." sanskar says looking into her eyes...

Sujata looks down with embarrassment and sanskar goes away...

After another 3 hours swara comes out talking with nurse... she pulls out her cap and looks at all...

"She is fine... and the baby is also fine... little weak... congratulations its a boy... the both need to stay at least 7 to 10 days here... that's all..." all looks up thanking god... swara walks away and sanskar comes infront of her suddenly...

"Hey..."

"Congratulations..." he walks with her...

"Thank you..." she smiles...

"Where are the kids and dida..."

"Home..."

"Good..."

"Doctor swara..." both look back and see durga prasad maheshwari there...

"Thank you..." he says looking at her...

"It was my duty mr maheshwary..." she says with a straight face...

Durgaprasad takes out his gold chain and holds it to sanskar...

"Make her wear it..." he says, not looking at him... swara and sanskar look at each other... Sanskar took it from him and made Swara wear it...

Durgaprasad placed his hand on her head : stay happy always together... forever...

He says emotionally... and about walking away feels touched on his feet... he placed his hand on both of them...

He pats Sanskar's cheek as he stands up and goes away...

Shobha looks at swara playing with her kids on the courtyard... some neighbors are smiling at them... all are so interested in her babies... she still remembers how she forced laksh and parvati to say the truth in front of all...

And they told the truth as they signed to tell the truth on that paper... they told how laksh knew about swara's infertility but hid from family... how Parvati told them on marriage day and how she planned to get her lado in maheshwary house with annapurna maheshwary... also how swara saved ragini and her baby...

"They are so cute...swara..." one of them said from the window...

"Swara beta... please come to my house... i will organize your aiburo bhat (a tradition in bengali, where a bride eats for the last in her house or in her close one's house as a spinster..)"

Swara looks uncomfortable and unsure with that...

"No sharmila... I am enough for my swaru... you don't have to bother..." shobha says coming out...

"Babies meemaw made laddo... go go..."

Swarnali and swapnil run into the house... it's been 15 days since Sanskar is away in mumbai... shobha doing preparation for their marriage... sanskar will come in two days... and after 5 days their marriage... their small talk of night becomes a long lasting call till one of them sleep... Sometimes both forgot to cut the calls also... and blamed each other for the low battery of their phones... swara is eagerly looking forward to her future life...

"Why shobha kaki... is swara not our daughter?" sharmila, the neighbour says disappointed...

"Yeah i saw how you behaved till now with your so called daughter..." shobha says sarcastically...

"Dida please..."

Shobha pulls her into the house twitching her nose...

Sharmishta looks at the white white rasgulla, swara's favourite... she wanted to give this to her... don't know when she will come again here... but she has no courage to do that... she knows shobha will not even let her touch them...

"For whom you made them?" Shekhar asked, coming into the kitchen...

"Why... after serving your family for 25 years like a donkey, I don't have this much right so that i could make something as per my will... you your mother and father had their meal na... so do what you do everyday... leave me on my own at least for some time... or is there any more demand your respectful parents are making now.." sharmishta lashed out at him...

Shekhar looks at her flabbergasted...

"Now why are you still here... just go na..." she shouts...

Shekhar goes away thinking what happened to her now... if he knew.. Everyone has his or her own tolerance level... and may be this the beginning...

At night, swara roaming on the terrace talking with sanskar... when sharmishta comes there with the bowl in hand... she waits for some time to let her finish... she looks at her smiling, giggling, laughing... she couldn't remember when the last time she saw her laughing like this... may when her didi was alive...

"Swara beta..." she called, seeing her going downstairs still talking on the phone...

Swara looks back at sharmishta... swara looks at her unsure... she goes to her as sanskar asked her to go...

"Ji?"

"Swara... this is rasgulla... I made for you..." she extended the bowl... "i know ma won't let you come to my house nor she let me come there... so just..."

Swara looks at her not knowing how to react...

"Swara, please..."

"I... ummm... okay" she took a little bit of one rasgulla... "thank you..."

"Its your favourite... Won't you take more?"

"No... i am full sorry..." with this she goes away hurriedly... she doesn't want to disappoint anyone before starting her new life...

"I don't know if god will listen to my type of woman's prayer... still if I ever did something good i want to bless you with that... you stay happy forever..." she slides down on the terrace crying holding the tiffin box tightly to her chest... it's just too late to repent...

2days later...

"Sanskar will come today na swara?"

"Yeah he said that only..." she says absent mindedly...

"Swaru... what happened?"

"Nothing dida... sanskar didn't call from yesterday... i am just worried...betu was crying the whole night calling sanskar... i called him many times but he didn't receive it... she slept just 3hours ago..."

"Swaru... don't take tension... maybe he was doing something... or his phone was silent..."

"I don't know dida..." she was exhausted...

"Mamma" swapnil comes out from the room rubbing his eyes...

"Mamma is here babu... come..." she smiles faintly...

She pulls him on her lap...

"Baba pass jana..."

"You want to go to baba?"

"Han"

"Baba will come soon..."

"Baba..." his lips twitched downwards...

"No no... babu... baba will come soon... you want to talk to baba?"

"Han..."

"Let mamma call baba ok..."

She tried to call Sanskar... it's still unreachable... swara rubs his back... as he also starts to cry...

"Baba will come soon babu..."

"What happened swara your fiance not taking phone..."

"What are you all doing here?" shobha asked looking at some of her neighbours there at the door...

"Oh yesterday night we couldn't sleep well as her baby was crying... so came to ask if she was ok.."

"Nothing happened kaki... they got their one of the vaccinations yesterday, so they were a bit disturbed..." swara says rubbing swapnil's back...

"Oh..." they went away murmuring...

It was evening swara was sitting outside with swapnil and swarnali... they were a bit low and sticking to swara only... not even going to shobha...

"Arey swara... you shouldn't have chosen another maheshwari after what ever happened with you... I think he just gets rid of his children and now enjoying..."

"Kaki... did anyone teach you to talk good things?" swara couldn't help but lashed out... as she was too exhausted... she didn't get a bit of sleep...

The neighbour woman twitched her nose: girls shouldn't talk like this swara... that's why men ran away from you... 1st that laksh and now that sanskar...

"What are you talking about me... and how do you know about me..." swara looks at the main gate of badi... sanskar standing with his luggage and rubbing his head a bit...

Swara stands up looking at him... a relief and unknown peace spread all over her body... and another emotion took over mind body and even every

"Baba" swarnali and swapnil cried out and ran to him... sanskar smiles at them and crouches to embrace them... he hugs them tightly... he picks them up and stands with them as they both were not leaving him...

Aman takes the luggage and goes in greeting her good evening...

"Swara please make me one black coffee... and dinner is ready then serve me soon..." he says exhaustedly...

"Serve yourself your own... and don't try to talk to me..." she bit out and goes in

Sanskar looks at her flabbergasted thinking what happened to her...

"What happened to mamma?" he whispered to his babies...

"Mamma..." swapnil mumbles on his shoulder...

Sanskar sighs and goes in...

"But i sent her an email... she didn't check it... it's not my fault..."

"Mail? Sanskar you are such an irresponsible...'' Shobha gritted, giving him more vegetable...

"I am not irresponsible... she didn't check her regular mail...wow..." he argued "you are being partial to her..."

"Yes... and if my daughter sleeps empty stomach, i will make your stomach empty also..."

"I am eating..." Sanskar chuckled...

"I know how to make my stomach empty after eating also..."

Sanskar sighs...

He enters Swara's room with a plate in hand and sees her thumping swapnil's chest to make him sleep... swarnali is sleeping with him today... swapnil can't sleep without his mamma..

He sits beside her head...

"It was not entirely my fault..." he whispers to her ear bending over her head...

"I am sorry" he says again,seeing her not responding...

"Ok... don't talk to me please eat your dinner..."

Swara shoves his hand away from her arm...

"I am sorry... i will atleast call you once whatever emergency it is... i promise" he says touch her arm again...

This makes swara slowly turn and looks at him...

"I am sorry..." sanskar said again looking into her eyes...

"Don't you dare to do this again..." she warned him with a choked angry voice...

"Ji madam... am i forgiven? Please eat... i need to sleep badly..." he says making a morsel... swara drags herself up in a sitting position... he feeds her lovingly...

He smiles looking at the empty side of the bed...

"What are you thinking?" swara asks looking at his smile...

"3 more days and we all four will sleep together..."

Swara smiles at that node...

"I love your smile... my angel and champ also love your smile... so please smile always..." he whispered slowly... swara blushed...

"You go to sleep... betu is alone there..." she says after letting him feed half of her dinner...

"You sure?" she nodes... sanskar gets up... swara holds his hand...

Sanskar looks at her serene face... "3 more days..." she says looking into his eyes

"Yes 3 more days..."

3 days later...

Swara and sanskar stand in front of his apartment in bridal wear... both looks forward as swarnali comes with her kalash while smita (aman's wife) helped her and aman helped swapnil with a red water plate... they placed them infront of swara...

"Weltome mamma" they repeated whatever aman and smita teach them in one hour session...

Swara had tears in her eyes...

"Don't cry" sanskar holds her hand... both crouched as swarnali and swapnil do their arti with the help of smita...

"Mamma mamma" swapnil jump to go to swara but aman restrained him...

"One minute babu..." swara tells slowly... and push the rice pot and enters with her red feet...

"Mine too red" swarnali pouts and ask for her foot print also... sanskar helped her to dip her feet on the thal then walk behind swara...

"Welcome home..." he says standing beside swara who is holding swapnil...

Swara smiles...

Both lay down on bed with their babies making them sleep...

"You asleep?" Sanskar asked slowly, looking at his newly wed wife...

"No i am not getting sleep..." swara sighs...

"Come..." sanskar took her hand and walked towards the balcony...

"What we will do here..."

"Maybe some gossip under stars..."

Swara smiles... and sits on the recliner placed there... sanskar sits beside her closely...

"What will we talk?" swara asked, raising her eyebrows...

"I don't know..." he says holding her hand...

"I don't like mahendi smell..." he say looking at it... "but its looking good on your hand..."

"Really? Then find your name also..."

"Did you write my name?"

Swara shrugs... he looks at it close...

"I am not able to find it... either you didn't write or is it in your other hand?"

Swara burst out laughing, hiding her right hand... sanskar tries to take it...

"No no no.." swara laughs....

"Yes... show me you monkey girl..."

And the night goes on...
