At Jung's Mansion...

Jimin wipes the younger's remaining tears and cups his face. "I never hated you, Kookie."

"B-But...*hic* you..." He hesitates to speak,

"What is it?" Jimin asks.

"Didn't...y-you say that...I-I am ugly and disgusting..." He asks looking with silent tears flowing through his cheeks.

(A/N: The scene in chapter 30. Kiss?)

Then Jimin remembers the day he said those words when he was angry at the younger as he called his sister inappropriate names.

And also remembers the file he read that Taemin brought.

Jimin lifts the younger's face and the tears. "I didn't mean to say those harsh words to you that day, Kookie. I was angry that you called your sister shitty names."

Jungkook looks away, "I... know it's the truth... I know I am ugly, Hyung. That day you didn't even bear to look at my body..."

(A/N: He is referring to the scene in chapter 44. Marriage?)

"Kookie, look here. I turned my back that day, not because I thought you were ugly. Because you were trembling so bad and I didn't want you to panic more."

"R-Really? Don't you think... I-I am *hic* fat?"

"Are you kidding me? You are so thin that you don't even weigh anything. Even now I could barely feel you. I am worried cause you are all bones. Who said you're fat and all that nonsense?"

"Everyone used to say that *hic* in high school... that I eat too much and so I am fat and ugly *hic* even you..."

"Me? When did I say such nonsense?"

"You didn't say it to me directly, but your friends said that I eat like a pig and that's why you hate me. And you only date slim boys."

Jimin is beyond angry now. He never said such nonsense to his friends. He avoided Jungkook in school because he doesn't wanna give any trouble to him.

He doesn't want to be close with the younger, as he is the heir of Darksmoke. Many are waiting to know his weakness and he doesn't want Jungkook to be the target of them.

But he never knew the more he ignored the younger, the more students believed he hates the younger, and to appease him, they used to bully Jungkook.

"Kookie, I never said such despicable things. I don't hate you. You are not fat or ugly. I used to love your chubby cheeks so much. I wondered why you lost weight but thought maybe it's a puberty thing that you wanna look like idols or so. But to think that it's because of me..."

Jimin closes his eyes, controlling his anger not to scare the younger.

>>>I should send Rex to handle those fake bastard friends of mine. To think they would do such things behind my back...

>>>Then did he get bullied by the entire school just because I ignored him?

>>>Was it my fault all along that Kookie had to suffer all those abuses?

"Sorry, Kookie" Jimin says honestly.

"Why are you...*hic* *hic*" Jungkook hugs the elder tightly and starts sobbing hard.

>>>So, Jiminie Hyung never thought of me as fat and ugly...he never hated me...?

"Shh... please don't cry. I just wanted to keep you sa- anyway, I never ignored you because of such idiotic things, Kookie. Forgive me. I didn't know that they bullied you just because I ignored you."

"I-It's...*sniff* okay... you didn't *sniff* know, Hyung"

>>>What? Did he forgive me just like that?

"Idiot! Why are you forgiving me so easily? Tell me, don't you hate me because of that? Is it why you rejected our marriage proposal at first?"

"No! I don't hate you, Hyung."

"Then? Now that I think, why did you starve yourself to become bones like this hearing that I would date only slim boys, huh? You wanted to date me?"

Jungkook gets flustered at the sudden question, and he doesn't answer.

"Tell me. Or did you really think I was a coward who only listens to my Hyung, and doesn't have any brain to stand up for myself, huh?"

(A/N:- He refers to the scene in Chapter: 6. Kookie's Mockings.)

"How did you know..." Jungkook looks down biting his lips in guilt.

"I know everything you said about me to reject the proposal. Didn't you call me midget?" Jimin smirks seeing the younger, looking even guiltier.

"Is that true? That's why you rejected to marry me because I am a midget?" He asks to tease the younger more.

"No! It's not like that ..."

"Then? Why did you starve yourself if you want to date me and why did you reject the proposal Hoseok Hyung made?"

"Because... b-because..."

"Because I am not handsome?"

The younger panics hearing that and starts talking without breathing,

"No! You are so handsome that I want to look at you every second! I starved myself because I love you-"

He stops realizing that he confessed just like that...

"I mean... I-I...argh!!! I don't know!" Jungkook buries his head in the elder's chest with flushed cheeks, red ears, and neck.

>>>What? He loves me???

"From when?" Jimin asks, shocked by what he just heard.

Jungkook looks up a little and mumbles, "13 years..."

"What?"

The younger gets up and shouts, "From thirteen years!"

Then runs away at the speed of light to his mansion without even looking back, as he is so embarrassed to face the elder right now after confessing unprepared.

Jimin looks at the door where the younger just left stunned, blinking his eyes continuously.

Then sweeps back his hair, his lips curve lightly as his cheeks heat up, and he lets out a little chuckle.

>>>Dammit! He loves me? And here I thought I would make him fall for me till our wedding...

>>>But he loves me and is mine, to begin with from the start...

Later In the Evening...

At Kim's Cozy Home...

Jungkook is now standing in front of the house contemplating whether or not it's the right house.

"Kookie, you are here. " Namjoon, who is just coming from outside, calls noticing the younger.

"Joonie Hyung, I have been at a loss. Is it the right house?" He asks.

"Yes, let's go inside. " Namjoon drags the younger inside chuckling.

Jungkook looks around and when he sees the room filled with books, his eyes are all sparkly.

"Hyung, is this your room?" He asks opening the books and going through them.

"Yes. As expected, you too love books, don't you?" Namjoon ruffles the younger's hair.

"Yes. And Hyung, the books you read are my favorite too," He chirps excitedly.

"Joon-ah, you are back?" His mother asks coming out of her room.

"Ah, eomma. Yes, I am back. And I brought a friend of mine with me. This is Jungkook, and Kookie, this is my eomma."

He introduces them both to each other.

"Hello, aunty." Jungkook bows and she smiles and pats him. "You can call me Eomma too, like Joonie. Don't be so formal, Kook-ah."

The younger looks at Namjoon when he notices she isn't looking at him directly and the elder signs she can't see.

Understanding, Jungkook holds her hand and calls smiling, "Eomma, it's been so long since I called that name after my mother passed away. But I have you now."

She gets emotional hearing it. "Of course. Come here often Jungkookie. Don't know why even though this is our first meeting, I feel a strange connection with you."

"Same, Eomma. I felt it too." Namjoon comments.

Then the three of them chat forgetting the time.

"Haha, Kookie. It's been so long since I have laughed like this. " She smiles heartily.

"I love it too, Eomma. Talking with you I forgot the time," Jungkook smiles back.

Just then the driver knocks on the door, "Young master. Master will scold me if I don't take you back home. It's late."

Jungkook sighs sadly. "I don't want to go..."

"Go home now, Kookie. Your father will be worried about you. You can come back whenever you want again. Next time I will introduce you to my younger brother," Namjoon states.

"Okay, Hyung I will listen to you and I would love to meet your brother too," Jungkook says, getting up and hugging him.

They bid farewell to each other and Jungkook leaves in the car.

At Jeon's Mansion...

"Bye, Krystal. Take your medicine and drink milk before you sleep, alright?" Taehyung pats her head, to which she nods, smiling.

"Ok, Oppa. But it's been so late today because we played so much. Can you get the bus now?" She asks, worried.

Si-Hyuk, who is just getting down the stairs, listens to it, "Then I will drop him off today."

"No need, sir. I will go by myself. I don't want to trouble you," Taehyung refuses.

"It's no trouble, Taehyung-ah. Anyway, I need to go to the office now, I will drop you on the way, and Krystal, don't keep your Oppa till this night and trouble him, ok?"

Krystal nods and Taehyung follows Si-Hyuk, not wanting to refuse him the second time. If Hoseok was here, he would have dropped him, but now...

>>>Mr. Hades... I miss you. When will you come back and say everything that you said to me is not true...

In The Car...

"Driver go to Taehyung's residence," he orders and looks beside him and asks,

"Taehyung-ah, why are you looking down these days?"

"Nothing, sir."

"If anything is troubling you, don't hesitate to tell me."

"Yes, sir."

Their brief conversation ends and Taehyung's house arrives soon.

"Sir, would you like to come inside? I know it's a small house but..." Taehyung hesitates to speak further.

"Of course. I would love to have tea before I go to that brainstorming meeting." Si-Hyuk smiles getting down the car.

Taehyung nods and guides him inside. "Eomma, Hyung," He calls as soon as he enters the hall.

"Ah, Tae. Your Hyung went out to buy some groceries. What happened?" His mother asks coming out.

Si-Hyuk, who just entered, gets shocked seeing her. "Chae Young-ah..." His heart thunders and the next second he clutches his chest with a painful expression.

Taehyung sees it and hurries to him, "What happened, sir? Sir?"

Si-Hyuk collapses to the ground and loses his consciousness.
