Vernon's Pov:

"Aww, our Vernon is someone's crush, huh", A drunk Y/n pinched my cheeks for I don't know how many times.

About how I ended up in this situation is because of my sweet lovely cousins who decided to have a drink. Y/n joined us too and now is totally drunk. 

"Vernon, take her home. She is totally wasted", Mingyu hyung said. Y/n stood up, "I am not going home. No one is going to send me home. If you do, then I... I will go and hug that pillar like a koala. I AM NOT DRUNK", she glared at Mingyu hyung.

He made her sit down and said in a gentle voice, "No one is saying you are drunk. It's Vernon who is drunk. You are totally fine. You are totally sober". Her big eyes came to a normal one, "Then it is okay. Vernon, you need to take care. But wait you said 'she is wasted', it should have been he instead of she", she squinted her eyes.

"Y/n, he said she because he is drunk, okay. You know how a drunk person is right?", I said pulling her away from him. "You drunk man. Don't come near me", she said to me. While me and Mingyu hyung were having a hard time to control her, Siwoo, Yuna, Soojin and Jisoo were having a great time looking at the show of a drunk Y/n. "Y/n unnie is cute when she is drunk", Jisoo said. "Jisoo, help me in handling her please", I requested.

"Jisoo? Joshua? Shua what are you doing here, man? When did you grow such long hair. Why are looking so different. I want to Harin's reaction", She laughed playing with her hair. Others looked at me for an explanation, "Her brother's friend's Korean name is Jisoo", they all nodded in sync.

"Hahah, Jisoo got a long hair means he wore a wig. I know you those are fake hair", she wiggled her brows and was about to pull her hair but then stopped, "I know you are not Jisoo. I was just joking".

Jisoo sighed in relief. "I told you before, drunk Y/n is a menace", Mingyu hyung said. "I agree now", Jisoo said holding her hair. "You all bad. I am not drunk", she pouted. Woah, she is totally different when she is drunk. She started a tantrum while saying 'I am not drunk but you all are'.

And just to make things worse, Areum came, "You guys didn't even tell me that we are going for drink", she stomped her feet. "You?", Y/n went to her and poked her cheek, "Did you take a bath with make up?", she innocently asked.

"Who is she?", Areum asked pointing at Y/n. Already we were trying not to laugh but what Y/n said next made us laugh out loud, "Oh, you are the girl who had a piece of spinach stuck between your teeth and then you ran away", Y/n said pointing at her own teeth. "Mingyu Vernon why aren't you saying anything", Areum again stomped her feet.

"Stop stomping your feet. Humans living beneath this ground will have an earthquake. Do you know how bad they might be feeling? Imagine living under the ground and gaints walking above your roof", Y/n started crying while saying this. We all tried to control our laugh.

"What? Humans live under the ground?", Areum asked. Y/n nodded wiping her tears,"Just like how we live". "Who is she? Can someone tell me?", Areum asked once again. "A human. I am a human being named as Choi Y/n", Y/n said with a proud face. "She is Vernon's soon to be wife", Siwoo said with an boring face.

"WHAT? Vernon you are getting married? When did this happen?", she asked with wide eyes. "When you were busy trying to remove the spinach stuck between your teeth", Soojin said giving her a fake smile.

"Vernon, what about the me? How can you betray me? You are the one who messed up everything", Areum said walking towards Y/n and was about to slap her but Y/n was quick enough to hold her hand. "My one slap and your white cheek full of make up will be dark with a tattoo of my hand print on it", Y/n said in a stern voice, her eyes were glaring at her. If one saw this scene will never believe that Y/n is drunk.

"Stop it. Vernon please take Y/n home. I think we should leave", Yuna the oldest among us said. "Unnie, I don't want to", Y/n said coming back to drunk self  leaving Areum standing there. "Y/n, you are going home that's it", she said. Y/n pouted and nodded like a child. I muttered a small, 'Sorry for Y/n's behavior', to Areum.

After taking her to the car, I tried making Y/n sit behind but she was too stubborn. Having no choice, I have up. She sat on passenger seat. She was so drunk that it was difficult for her to put the seat belt. I took the initiative. After helping her, I was about to sit back but she held my collar and pulled my face close to her.

"Y/n, what are you doing", I asked trying to get out of her grip. She grinned and said, "Thank you", pecking my cheeks. I sat back on my seat still processing whatever happened. At this point I knew, drunk Y/n is totally unpredictable.

After reaching house, Y/n was already asleep. I tried waking her up but she slightly slapped my face murmuring something. So, I had to carry her all the way to her room but she has to wake up now. She can't sleep in this dress. I tried to wake her, "Y/n wake up and change the dress", I said but she was dead asleep.

Having no other option I called Harin by Y/n's phone.

Harin: Why did you call me so late at night. If you want to talk about how good Vernon looked then I am not interested and if you are going to scold me for telling Vernon to help you then I am ending the call. I was having a good sleep dreaming about Joshua -

I looked at her phone. She is just rapping there without even saying a single 'Hello'.

Vernon: Harin, it's me, Vernon

Harin: Then what should I- Oh Vernon. I am sorry, I thought it was Y/n cause you called me with her number

Vernon: I am sorry to disturb you but I need your help.

After telling her everything and why I need help. I heard a gasp which was from Harin.

Harin: Boy, Drunk Y/n is an menace. She is totally unpredictable. This was your first time so I letting you go but remember NEVER EVER KEEP ALCOHOL AND Y/N IN SAME ROOM.

Vernon: I experienced and realised it now. But tell me what should I do. I hope you know that she can't sleep in that clothes.

Harin: Now there are only two option. One spray- not spray but pour a glass of water on her face and the other one is to shake her body as if there is an earthquake but the second one has a huge risk. Once she gets up, it will more worse then a drunk Y/n. Oh- wait there's another one and she will surely wake up and it is safe too......

After ending the call. I tried the wake her up but she didn't. Having no other option I used the third and last option told by Harin. I cleared my throat, "Y/n, a cockroach and a lizard are having a battle on your bed get up", I shouted at the top of my voice. Just in a second, Y/n screamed and pushed me on the bed, hiding herself behind a curtain. "Take them out please", she said.

"Only on one condition change you clothes", I said. She nodded like a child. She is still not sober. "Help me with the zip", she said. I nodded and helped her. She was about to remove her infront of my eyes but I stopped her. "Don't. Do it after I go out", I said but she held my hand and said, "Please don't go. What if that cockroach and lizard fall on me while fighting". I nodded and said, "I'll turn around just change your clothes", she nodded.

I stood facing the door for a while until there was a tap on my shoulder. "I am done", she said holding my hand. "Now go and sleep", I said but she shook her head. "I am afraid of them", she murmured. Then, Harin's words played in my mind, 'If you use the third option then Y/n will not sleep in that room for whole night'.

"Okay then sleep in my room", I said. She walked to my room and sometimes stumbled too but still somehow managed. After reaching my room she fell on the bed and slept. I covered her with blanket. "Sleep well", I whispered. "You, the cockroaches and the lizard too. I hope you win in that fight", she murmured in the sleep. She is going to have a huge hangover tomorrow. I need to be ready.
