Author's Pov:

"Is this dress looking good?", Y/n looked at Harin showing her dress. "Y/n, I already told you that it will look good. Now wear it properly. I want to sleep", Harin said in her sleepy voice. "But what about zip. My hands are not reaching there", She tried to zip it up but failed. "Then call Vernon, he will help you".

"Umm, can't you come out of the call and zip it up", she said. "Are you high?", Harin shouted. "I'll try to zip it. You go and sleep", she was about to end the call but Harin said, "Girl, call Vernon and ask him to help you. After all he is soon going to be your husband. Also, it will be so romantic", Harin said going into her dream land.

"Bye", she ended the call. After few struggles, she gave up and stood in front of mirror. "Should I call him?", she whispered. "Call who?", she flinched hearing Vernon's voice.

Y/n looked at his reflection and said, "I am almost ready", but he walked towards her. He held her shoulders and said, "You should have called me". She didn't understand what he meant until his hands touched her back. He was looking at her reflection all the time while he zipped her dress.

"You are looking beautiful", he said still looking at the reflection. "But you are taking the spotlight", she said turning around. "Really, then I think all the eyes will be on us then", Y/n nodded.

"If you wanted my help, you could just have called me. Harin told me you needed help", he moved back. "I thought you would be uncomfortable so I didn't", She lowered her head. "I am almost ready. Wait for two minutes", Vernon nodded and went out of room.

Y/n facepalmed herself, "You just meet me Harin", she murmured.

"We are here", Vernon said. Before Y/n could get out of car, Vernon went out and opened the door, "Shua hyung gave me a lecture on how to treat a wife", he said extending his hand. "So, you are doing this just because he told you to?", Y/n teased. "No, because I wanted to", he said holding her hand.

"Yah, Vernon, you came", A woman came with a huge smile on her face. "Yeah", Vernon nodded his head and gave out a small smile. "Who is she?", the woman furrowed her eyebrows. Before any one could answer. Vernon's mother interrupted, "I will tell you come inside, I'll tell you everything", his mother pulled the women along with her.

"Who was she?", Y/n asked. "She is one of my father's cousin, Mrs. Hwang. I told you about my one annoying cousin right? It's her daughter. Both the mother and daughter are of same breeds", Y/n chuckledafter listening to Vernon calling them same breed. "Okay, they are the one I have to be careful of", Vernon nodded.

As soon as they entered, all the eyes were on them. People started to whisper among themselves,

"Who is she?"
"Wait isn't he Vernon but who is the girl beside him?"
"Isn't she the owner of Minji enterprises? What is she doing here?"
"Is she the guest that his mother was talking about?"
"They both look cute together. Don't tell me they are going to get married"

"See, I told you right, all the eyes will be on us today", he whispered leaning towards her. Y/n grinned. "Y/n-ie Vernon-ie, come here", His mother called them. Both walked towards them. "You are looking beautiful my dear", His mother said patting Y/n's shoulder, "And my son, you are looking good too. Both are looking too good".

"I am going to announce about the wedding. If it is okay with you both?", his father said earning a nod from them. "We don't have any problem, even if you announce the wedding date", Y/n said. "Really? Is it okay with you?", Y/n and Vernon nodded.

"We haven't exactly. We have just selected few dates. We want you to choose any one of those", His Appa said. "Okay then. I won't exactly announce the dates", Eomma said.

She took a mic making everyone look at her. "Everyone present here. I know you might be confused about the lady along with Vernon. Some of you know who is she. Coming to the main reason, I gladly announce that Choi Y/n, is soon going to be my daughter in law. In short, our Vernon is going to get married soon", Eomma said. As soon as she announced cheers were heard.

"Woah, I can't believe our Vernon-ie is getting married", one of his relative, Mrs. Kim said, "Look at him now all grown up. I still remember how badly he cried when he thought chocolates are made up of animal poop. It was 22 years back but feels as if it was not long ago", she continued.

"Ahh, I was small back then, you still remember that", Vernon shyly said. Y/n was trying to suppress her laugh after knowing the story. "Dear, don't need to suppress your laugh. If I keep telling you his stories, then you will die out of laughter", she said.

"You know Y/n, he was so quiet and at the same time loud in his childhood. But he was the most favorite child", she said patting his shoulder, "And I am happy he is getting a girl like you. I have heard a lot about you from my son".

"Your son?", Y/n furrowed her brows. "Hmm, my son you know him too well", she said, "Wait. He might be coming now", she said looking at her watch. "I know him. How?", Y/n whispered. "Y/n-ie can you come here?", Eomma called her. Y/n looked Mrs. Kim. "I will make sure you meet him. You can go", she said. Y/n nodded and walked towards his mother. Vernon excused himself and followed her.

???'s Pov:

I rushed towards Eomma as soon as I saw her. She waved at me. I was so focused on her that I didn't see someone coming towards me. I bumped into a girl. She was about to lose her balance but before I could do anything, Vernon caught her. "Are you okay?", he whispered holding her. After releasing her, I saw her face. A too familiar face.

"Are you okay? I am sorry I didn't see you coming", she said making an apologetic face, "You?", she had a shocking face but then in turned into a happy face, "Yah, Kim Mingyu. How are you?", she said. "I am all good", I replies.

"Y/n, you okay?", Vernon's mother came checking on her. "Yeah, I am good, Mom", she smiled. Her smile was beautiful before but now it is more beautiful. But why did she call, Vernon's mom as mom?

"My dear, you are here", His mother said as she saw me. I slightly nodded, "Meet Y/n, Vernon's soon to be wife", she introduced. She is going to be someone's wife, that too my cousin. Woah, my university crush is getting married. To be specific my ex-crush, I think?
Before anyone could speak anything, I got a call. I excused myself and went out.

Y/n's Pov:

He went out as he got a call. "Y/n, what are you thinking? Do you remember him?", he asked. "Of course. I do", I said. Kim Mingyu, a senior of mine during my university days who was also a very good friend of mine. "I never knew he is your cousin", I said. "Now you know", he winked at me. "Don't", I laughed, he too laughed with me. "I think he didn't recognize me", it came out in a very sad tone. "I don't think like that. I am sure he remembers you", Vernon said.

"Y/n, come with me. I want you to meet someone", Mom said and pulled me along with her. He actually has a huge family. Compared to uncle he has more number of aunts. After meeting most of them, Mrs. Kim again came to me along with Mingyu. Now it makes sense, her son knows me, it means Mingyu knows me. I smiled.

"Oh, you met her before right but not her son. He is Kim Mingyu", Mom introduced. He smiled at me. "Oh, Haeun. She knows my son. Both were in same university", Mrs. Kim said. Mom looked at me and I slightly nodded.

"Yes, Aunt. I already know her", he said. "That's great then. I am happy that she knows someone in our family", Mom said.

After meeting all of them. I realised the lady we met at first was nowhere nor was her daughter. I don't even remember her name. I was sitting with some of his cousins. "Y/n, I want to ask something", Yuna one of his cousin said. I nodded making her continue, "Who is Minji? Means you company's name is Minji so", she asked.

"Minji is my mother's name. The company my father opened was by her name", I explained. While talking suddenly Mingyu whispered, "She is coming". As soon as he said that all the faces looked annoyed. "Who-", my voice was cut off by a girl. "Hello friends", she waved her hand.

Vernon who was sitting beside me said, "It's her". Ohh that's why everyone looked annoyed here after Mingyu whispered. "Aww, you all are looking so good but not as good as me", she smiled showing a piece of spinach stuck between her teeth.

All of us tried to control our laugh. "Hmm, Areum, I think you should to check you face especially your teeth", Yuna gave her an awkward smile. "Why? Am I looking too beautiful?", she widen her smile and opened her front camera. As soon as she saw her face, she turned around and said, "I'll be back in a minute", and ran away.

All of us started laughing like crazy. "Thank God she went", Mingyu said. "But why don't you like her", I asked. It was clearly visible on their face that they didn't like her.

"Well, she has crush on Mingyu and Vernon", Siwoo, his another cousin said, "And if you are thinking how she can have a crush on her own cousins then let me clarify, she is not blood related. She is adopted. So, she thinks she can marry either of these two", he pointed at Mingyu and Vernon.

"You need to be careful. After knowing Vernon is getting married I am sure she will do something", Soojin said. I nodded. Luckily, she didn't see me. So, right now I don't need to care for her.
