Author's Pov:

Y/n took a deep breath feeling the cold wind. "It feels so good to come here", she said, eyes closed while the male beside her was tensed. "Y/n, it is quite cold here and you are still recovering from fever. It is better if we go home. You don't want your fever to increase right?", Vernon said. "Vernon, it's been 2 days since I got fever and look I am totally fine now. Even you didn't work properly because you were busy taking care of me", she said, "Also just to make sure that my fever won't increase I wore this coat and muffler", she showed her muffler. "I know but still", he whispered.

It was something like 10 pm, when Y/n wanted to go for a walk. After a lot of requests Vernon agreed. It has been already 2 days since she had fever. She has almost recovered. Vernon didn't let her work at all, the only thing he asked her to do is take rest.

She took his hand in hers and said, "Even if I get sick, I know you will take care of me. Now lets go back, I just wanted to take a walk", and started walking. "You still didn't tell me what happened between Areum and you all", she said taking slow steps. "Hmm, right now the only thing I'll tell you is that it all happened because of how our family is", Y/n furrowed her brows, "They are not what they look like to be honest. I told you once right, as time went our parents stopped meeting?", she nodded, "It was because of a conflict. On that day, you met most of my relatives, some of them are really good, I mean really good but some others are not. The only thing they know is to bring down others. Some don'teven care what is going on",

Y/n didn't speak anything. "I'll tell you everything once we reach house", she nodded. "Is that Seungkwan?", she asked. "Yeah, I think?", he said and shouted, "Seungkwan". The male turned around and smiled seeing his best friend. Waving, Seungkwan walked towards them with a beautiful lady beside him. She too waved at them. Y/n nudged Vernon, "Who is she?", before Vernon could answer, they were already infront of them.

"How are you Y/n?", was the first question Seungkwan asked. "I am all fine", She smiled. "Wait, Oh My God! You are Y/n? Nice to meet you", the female said extending her hand introducing herself, "I am Seo Hana, Seungkwan's girlfriend". "Oh, Hi", Y/n replied. "At last this guy is settling with someone", Hana giggled, "After seeing how his 4-5 blind dates went, I thought he will end up single".

Y/n giggled, "Don't worry, Hana. I am here and always will be". Hana nodded. "Where you guys are going? Want to join us? We are going to have some food in restaurant", Seungkwan said. Y/n looked at Vernon, "Hmm, no. She is not well. I don't think it would be good if she eats outside food", Vernon said. "She is not well! It doesn't look like that though", Hana said and kept her hand on Y/n's forehead.

"Yeah, she is still recovering", Vernon said. "Well, he is right but will you join, if I cook for her", Hana said. "But will the restaurant allow to let you cook?", Y/n asked. "Of course. Why won't they? The restaurant we are going is mine", Hana leaned in and whispered, "I am a chef". Y/n looked at her with wide eyes, "Wow, you are a chef", Hana nodded. "If that's the case then I think we can join", Y/n gave him a wide smile.

"Hmm, it already smells delicious", Y/n smelled the food Hana made, "I am sure it tastes the same". Y/n took a bite while Hana was looking at her with hopeful eyes. Hana's eyes gleamed when Y/n gave her a thumbs up indicating she loved it.

While eating Y/n noticed some sauce on Vernon's lips who was sitting across her and beside Seungkwan, "Vernon you have got some sauce there", she pointed at the corner of his lips. Vernon took a tissue and tried to wipe it but failed. Before Y/n could take the tissue and clean it, Seungkwan took  the tissue from his hand and wiped it off like a mother wiping her child's face. While Y/n sat there looking at them.

"Be careful while eating next time", Seungkwan said. "Anyways, Y/n", Hana said, "When are you getting married?". Vernon and Y/n looked at each other, "Umm, That's still not decided... yet. Eomma was saying that she has decided few dates and she is asking us to choose", Vernon said.

"What about you two? For how long you both are dating?", Y/n asked. "5 years", Seungkwan replied, "We still don't plans of getting married".

"Hey, Y/n!", Joshua's voice reached their ears. "Hey!", Y/n smiled after seeing him, "You are here alone?", he shook his head. "Umm there is someone else with me", he said. "Who? Seungcheol and Jeonghan?", she asked. He hesitantly shook his head, "Someone you know".
Y/n took some time to think, with an excited voice and calm face she asked, "Harin?", he nodded and gave a smile, a genuine smile.

She couldn't control her happiness after knowing they both are spending time with eachother. "But where is she?", Y/n asked. "She is coming", he said. Y/n nodded. After having food, Y/n and Vernon decided to leave considering that Y/n's health.

"You looked so happy after seeing Harin and Joshua together, Why?", Vernon asked. "Umm... The thing is Harin likes Joshua. So I am happy that she is spending time with him. I think there are some chances that they will end up together". Vernon nodded, "And who do you like?".

Y/n thought for a second and said, "My Appa",

"And?", he asked

"Seungcheol",

"And?",

"Harin",

"And?",

"Also..",

"Also?",

"Also....All your cousins, Seungkwan, Hana and Mom and Dad"

"That's all?", he lowered his voice.

"No. There is one more person", she said. Vernon looked at her with expected eyes, "Who? Joshua and Jeonghan?". Y/n chuckled, "It's you".

"For a second I thought you had some beef with me", Vernon smiled. Y/n noticed how his smile is still the same, how his eyes get small whenever he smiles. "I know I am handsome but staring is a bad habit", he said. "It is not bad when you are staring at your soon to be husband", Y/n said. Vernon got shy and hid his face.

"My gosh, I love seeing you shy", Y/n hit his arm. He kept his hand on her shoulder, "Hmm even I love seeing you shy", he said. "When did you see me getting shy?", Y/n asked.

"Like when I helped you with your zip and then when you knew you pecked me when you were drunk and maybe you were shy when we first came to see the house. Also you were definitely shy when we first met", Vernon said.

"Hmm, but still you being shy is my favorite thing I guess", Y/n said. "Hmm", Vernon hummed, "You not feeling cold right?", he asked adjusting her muffler. "No it is keeping my body warm. What about you? Are you warm?", she asked. "I am but right now you need to care for yourself", Vernon said. "I am doing it for a long time, Vernon", Y/n giggled. Her nose slightly got pink along with her cheeks because of cold.

"Are you sure Y/n? Your nose and cheeks are already in pink shade", he said. "Yeah, I am good Vernon. Maybe it is because I am out here in cold", she said. All the way Vernon and Y/n kept talking about various things. Sometimes both tried to flirt with each other. Vernon stopped while Y/n kept walking, "Why did you stop?", she asked.

"Ermm, our house is here", Vernon said. Y/n made a 'o' shape with her mouth and walked back beside him, "I didn't even realise" and gave out a awkward laugh.

Y/n sat on the couch, "I feel like a old woman. I got tried by walking. It was just a small distance". Vernon brought her a glass of water, "Maybe it is because you need some rest",y/n hummed.

"From tomorrow again daily routine starts. Get up early, have breakfast then go to office, attend meetings, come back home have dinner and sleep and next day repeat everything", Y/n said.

"Hmm what about a family dinner tomorrow?", Vernon showed his phone, "Eomma's message". "It sounds good", Y/n said. "Done then. I am dropping and picking you up tomorrow",  Vernon said.

"Good night, I am going to sleep now. I am tired", Y/n yawned and strechted her body. Vernon ruffled her hair, "Good night" and went to his room after making sure Y/n slept properly.
