At MN industrial!

Manik was packing his stuff to leave as his day has been ended. He was zipping his office bag when his phone rang.. he quickly zipped his bag and picks his phone up to see his Jaan calling him. His lips curved into beautiful smile seeing her name flashing.

He picks the phone while taking seat.

Manik : hello Jaan!

Nandini: mani when are you coming home?

Manik : Jaan I'm leaving in 10 minutes. I'll be home in half hour.

Nandini: come quick. And Is dad with you?

Manik : no! He must be in his cabin!

Nandini: okay! I am waiting for you and dad to come!

Manik : see you at home! Bye Jaan!

Nandini: bye mani!

Manik ended the call and stoop while shoving his phone in his pocket and took his blazer from his chair.. he then took his bag in one hand and other hand holding his blazer.

Turning his cabin lights off Manik comes out of his cabin and typed his password. He then starts walking towards raj cabin.

He knocks the cabin and enters once he heard raj saying 'come in'. Manik pushed the door and comes inside to see raj working on his laptop..

Manik : dad!

Listening to Manik's voice raj looks up from his laptop and smiles seeing Manik.

Raj : Manik why you standing? Have a seat!

Manik : dad I'm leaving for room. I was wondering if you have completed your work then we leave together.

Raj : Manik I have little work still left. You can continue going home. I'll join you at home.

Manik : it's okay dad! I'll wait for you to finish your work.

Raj : but Manik what need of staying. I will be finish my work in half an hour then why don't you make your way to home. Princess would be waiting for you at home too.

Manik : don't worry dad waiting for another 30 minutes won't be any harm. You without worrying you complete your work. I'm sitting over here only.

Raj was protest Manik to go but Manik being adamant moves to couch and himself comfortable.. raj shook his head and turned his head to his laptop and continued working.

Whereas Manik made himself comfortable on couch and took his phone and dropped a quick message to Nandini saying he will be 30 minutes later and explained raj is still working. After messaging Nandini he turned his phone off and kept back in his pocket.

He saw raj working and thought to lay down till raj completes his work. Manik laid himself on couch and closed his eyes..

After 20 minutes later raj competing his work shut his laptop and turned his head to couch and saw Manik sleeping.

Raj ( mind) will he ever listen to me? Look how uncomfortable he is sleeping on couch? What should I do with his stubbornness?

Raj shaking his head moves to couch and bend down his knees and starts shaking Manik's body who stirred lightly and immediately opens his eyes and saw raj front of his face.

He immediately sat up and looks at raj.

Manik : sorry dad. I didn't realise when I slept. I tonight to lay down.

Raj : it's okay! You don't need to be sorry. I know you're tired due to continuous work. Go wash your face then we will leave.

Manik nodded his head and went to washroom which was in raj cabin. While raj got up and packed his stuff and waited for Manik to come back.

In few minutes later Manik joined raj and saw raj all packed to leave. Manik too picks his bag and blazer.

Manik : shall we start dad!

Raj nodded his head and both father and son walks out of raj cabin and starts walking towards the receptionist area... both of them were talking but stopped at the receptionist and looks at Lucy who was working..

Manik : Lucy. Didn't you leave yet?

Lucy looks at Manik and raj.

Lucy : sir I was leaving in few minutes as I recently got mail from some clients. I was checking that only.

Manik : after checking mail you should take leave.

Lucy nodded her head.

Manik : good night Lucy!

Lucy : good night sir.

Raj : good night Lucy.

Manik and raj then went parking area and got inside the car. Raj was going in Manik's car as raj car was in service. Manik starts driving while humming song which was playing on radio while raj was checking his phone...

At malthora mansion!

Neyonika was cooking with kaka in kitchen when door bell rang.. neyonika who was cutting carrots stops and quickly washed her hand. She looks at kaka.

Neyonika: kaka look at this. I will open the door. Manik and raj is home.

Kaka modded his head while neyonika went out of kitchen to main door and opens the door to see father and son smiling. She passed them smile and let them in. She moves to kitchen while both men's went to couch and sat down.

Both were seated when neyonika came with two glass of water and gave to Manik and raj.. raj roamed his eyes around the room. While gulping water he asked neyonika about Nandini who wasn't present in hall.

Raj : where is princess?

Neyonika: Nandini is getting ready!

Raj : ready for what?

Before neyonika could answer Manik himself answered as he knows why Nandini was getting ready. Obviously he would know because he ur the one who planned dinner date for his Jaan after long time.

Manik : dad actually I'm taking Nandini out for dinner. You aware of how this month was hectic for me and Nandini. I wasn't giving Nandini time so I thought why you compensate today.

Raj : why didn't you tell me before? You have already wasted your time waiting for. Because of me you both will get late. I'm sorry Manik!

Manik : come on dad don't be sorry. We are not getting ready. I waited for you because I wanted to wait for you. I'm late. Nandini knows too. Don't say sorry dad.

Raj : I won't say sorry but when are you guys leaving?

Manik : at 8!

Raj : you should get ready.

Manik nodded his head and taking his stuff moved to his room while raj looks at neyonika who was seeing manik with smile. Raj clears his throat.. neyonika immediately turns her gaze and looks at raj.

Raj : what are you looking at?

Neyonika: woh.. woh..

Raj : you don't have to stammer. He is very happy is his small world. I'll fresh up.

He left without glancing at neyonika who had tears hearing raj word.. raj went to his room while neyonika controlling her tears moves back to kitchen.

Manik was going to enter in his room but stopped seeing Nandini who was getting ready and smiling to herself... Manik smiles and stood at the door adorning her.

Nandini who was getting ready. She was smiling thinking about the dinner date which Manik has arranged.. she picks her earring up and starts wearing it when she felt strong gaze on her. She looks up through mirror and saw Manik leaning to door and smiling looking at her. Her cheeks immediately turned deepest red colour seeing him staring her without blinking his eyes.. Nandini stood up controlling her blush and turns around and starts walking to Manik who was still in lost in her beauty..

Nandini : mani.. mani..

She called few minutes but Manik Malhotra was lost somewhere or in someone beauty.. Nandini then shook his shoulder making him come out his world..

Nandini: where are you lost mani?

Manik : Do I have to answer that?

Nandini: I think so!

Manik wrapping his one arms around Nandini shoulder and with other hand he was still holding his blazer and bag.. he then walks inside the room with her..

He reaching to bed dropped his stuff and encircled his other hand around her shoulder and looks at her.

Manik : don't you know where I was lost in?

Nandini shook her head as no making him in smirk.. he then took her to mirror side and turn around her.. he then encircles his arms around her waist and back hugging keeping his chin on her shoulder.

Manik : look there Jaan! You will find your answer there only.

Nandini lifting her gaze up and saw herself reflection.. she smiled brightly and turns around wrapping her arms around his neck and tip toed and kissed his cheek hardly while he grinned getting kiss and smiled.

Nandini: you should fresh up mani.

Manik : okay! Take my clothes out... wait..

He stops as his gaze fell down her clothes..he frowned and looks at her..

Manik : Jaan why are you wearing Indian outfit? Didn't I tell you tell wear something comfortable. We are going for dinner not to some functions..

Nandini: uff.. mani don't complain..I love this.. please let's go like this na.. I'm more than comfortable in this.. please for me..

Manik : do I have any option to say no?

Nandini: I don't think so Manik malthora!

Manik : if this makes you comfortable then who am I telling you what to wear or not.

Nandini: thank you mani..

Manik kissed her forehead and detached himself from her and starts moving to washroom when he stops and turns around and calls Nandini's name.

Manik : Jaan!

Nandini immediately turns around to him who was taking Manik's clothes out from closets. She gestured him what.

Manik : ah.. nothing!

He left to washroom leaving Nandini confuse but nevertheless she shook her head and took his clothes out and kept it on bed. She moves back to dressing table and picks vermillion box and took pinch off it and filled her hairline.

She then moves to bed and took Manik's bag and his blazer.. she threw Manik's blazer in basket and placed his bag in their closet.

She walks back to bed and sat down taking her phone. She opens her phone and starts taking pictures of herself. She was busy taking pictures when washroom flung opens. She looks up and saw Manik coming washing his face with towel. She saw him keeping the towel on couch and walking towards bed.

Nandini kept her phone side and got up walking to dressing table to get Manik's essentials. she came back and gave to Manik who was ready and buttoning his shirt button..

Manik then moves to dressing table and fixed his hair while Nandini packed her handbag taking Manik's and her phone and her purse.

Manik while wearing his watch calls Nandini.

Manik : Jaan are your ready to leave?

Nandini: yes mani!

Manik come to Nandini.

Manik : let's go!

Nandini bobbed her head . Both of them made their way out room and starts walking down the stairs.

Manan saw neyonika and raj sitting in hall.

Manik : dad we are leaving.

Raj : take care and enjoy your dinner.

Manik nodded his head and looks at Nandini and gestured shall we which she too nodded.

Manan biding bye to raj and neyonika left..

Manik being gentleman opens passenger seat for Nandini and gestured her to get in. Nandini smilingly gets in and comfortable sat down while Manik went to driver side and sat down. He puts his seatbelt on and looks at Nandini..

Manik : shall I!

Nandini nodded her head while turning the radio on as Manik turned the engine on. Manik starts driving while looking at door and entwining his left hand with Nandini's hand. He was taking her glance in between and talking to her about the competition which is not far away. Finally date for competition has been finalised by Manik and his team members.

Manik taking left stops the car as they have reached to their destination. Manik took his seatbelt out and comes out from his side and walks to Nandini side.. he opens the door and forward his hand to her. Nandini placing her hand in his comes out. Manik closed the door behind her and moves back to his side and took keys out. He locks the car and looks at Nandini who was smiling all the time..

Manik moves to her and held her hand.

Manik : let's go in!

Nandini nodded her head and held his hand tightly and both of them walks inside the restaurant. Manik booked corner for themselves and guided Nandini there. He pulls chair her and makes her sit.. he then sat opposite her and looks at her.

Manik : hope you like this Jaan. In short time this was what I could arrange it.

Nandini placing her hand on his which was on table.

Nandini: mani I love this.

Manik smilea and called waiter.

Manik : what will you have?

Nandini: whatever you wish to have.

Manik : are you sure?

Nandini: yes.

Manik looks through menu and ordered whatever he wanted not before confirming with Nandini who agreed too.. after giving order to waiter Manan starts talking and recalling their good memories.

Soon their food arrived. Manik firstly thanked the waiter and starts serving Nandini then his own plate.

After having amazing dinner manan headed back to malthora house.

Reaching home Manik picked sleeping Nandini in his arms and starts climbing the stairs. He pushing the door walks to bed and laid her down. He took her footwear off and her earrings and watches.. he caressing her cheek calls out her name.

Manik : Jaan.. wake up..

Nandini jerkingly opens her eyes and sat on bed making Manik chuckle at her behaviour. He held her hand.

Manik : relax. Change yourself then sleep.

Nandini: I'm sorry I didn't realised when I slept..

Manik : it's okay. Go and change.

Nandini nodded her head and left to washroom taking her change while Manik changed himself in the room itself.

Manik laid in bed and waited for Nandini to join him. Soon Nandini joined him on the bed. Nandini kept her head on his chest and snuggled to him. She kissed his heart and whispered..

Nandini : good night mani. I love you!

Manik smiled and kissed her forehead too.

Manik: good night Jaan. I love you too. Sleep now!

He said caressing her hair. Nandini immediately closed her eyes slept same with Manik. Soon as Nandini slept Manik took closing his eyes slept hugging his Jaan tightly.

Three days later at MAAN studio Manik was discussing about the competition which was going to happen next week. Everyone was present in the room expect Nandini who was on call with someone.

Manik was talking to one of team member when they heard someone shouting.. Manik looks at abhi and avni who gave him confuse look.

Manik : excuse me..

He immediately excused himself went out followed by others. Manik fisted his hand seeing navya shouting at Nandini.. his anger rosed up seeing someone shouting at his Jaan.. he rushed to Nandini and pulled in her hug and gave deadly glare to navya who was staring at Nandini hateful...

Manik caressed Nandini's hair and whispered good words to her..

Manik after few minutes felt Nandini calm and looks at abhi and gestured him to dismiss other teams member.. abhi nodded and asked everyone to leave expect fab 4 who was watching this scene.

Manik : you all in my cabin right now.

His voice held so much anger which can scare anyone. Manik took Nandini to his cabin and made her sit and passed her water who took it and gulped it down.

Manik cups her face and wipes her tears.

Manik : Jaan what exactly happened outside?

Nandini took deep breath and looks at Manik was comforting her.

Nandini : I was coming back from ending call from my client and was coming towards conference room when I saw abeer running in full speed.. he was going to fall before that I ran to him and saved him from falling. At the same time navya came and starts accusing saying I was going to take abeer with me and going to hurt me .. mani I was saving him only.. she did not even listen to me and starts shouting at me...

She burst in tears while Manik was shocked hearing her. He immediately pulls her in hug and rubs her back.

First of all I'm very sorry for not updating. Whenever I try to write nothing is coming out. The way I want to chapter it's not coming out.

And sorry this chapter too. I don't know what I have wrote here.
