Flashback continues...

Lifeless unconsciously Manik lying down on the cold floor of his room which was completely mess.. all his things scattered on the floor.... his clothes scattered every corner of his room.. a big frame broken into pieces.. his mirror broken into zillions pieces around his body.. his left hand is bleeding continuously.. his both legs was bleeding as Manik walked over the broken glass...

Outside of his room.. a butler who was working in kitchen comes out of kitchen and saw the time.. he got worried as Manik hasn't come out of his room.. he then decided to walk to Manik's room. The butler walks back in kitchen and filled plate of Manik's favourite food..

He then climbs the stair and stood front of Manik's room.. he knocks the door.. he knocks few more time but not getting response he got more worried for Manik because this unusually for Manik to stay in his room too long..

Butler : Manik baba.. Manik baba open the door..

He shouted but again no response from Manik.. he was getting working for Manik.. he immediately screamed another butler name who came immediately came running..

Butler 2: what happened kaka?

Kaka : get me Manik baba room key.. it must be in neyonika madam room..

The butler nods and ran to neyonika room.. soon he came with key and gave to kaka..

Kaka : hold this..

Kaka gave food tray to butler while kaka inserted the key in door role and opens it.. as he pushed the door he got shocked seeing the room state.. kaka roams his eyes around the room when his eye fell on Manik.. he immediately rushed to Manik and taps his body..

Kaka : Manik baba... Manik baba...

Butler who was standing at door looks at kaka in worried..

Kaka looks at Manik teary eyes... his hand touch Manik body and felt very hot..

Kaka turns his head at door and saw butler..

Kaka : call the ambulance..

Butler nodding his head ran out and calls the ambulance while kaka was trying to wake Manik up.. his eyes get blurred seeing Manik like this.. Manik was like his son.

Kaka : Manik baba... open your eyes..

Soon the butler came up with ambulance team.. the ambulance staff took Manik hospital...

Kaka went to Manik in ambulance while butler stayed at room and called Nandini immediately...

In Murthy house..

Nandini was in her room and thinking what today incident.. she was lost in her thoughts that didn't realise for how long she was sitting like this.. her thoughts were disturbed by a phone call..

Nandini wiping her tears off she took her phone and saw call from malthora house.. she frowned thinking why Manik is calling from landline but nevertheless she picks it up..

Nandini took deep breath..

Nandini: hel...lo..

Butler : hello Nandini... ma'am... Manik baba in hospital....

As she heard Manik is in hospital.. phone fell form and she stood there all shock...

Nandini: man... ik....

She muttered his name before rushing out of her room.. as she rushed down she was called by chachi who saw her running but Nandini ears went deaf only hearing Manik was in hospital.. she was ran out of Murthy house without listening to chachi is who was calling her..

In hospital..

Kaka was sitting outside of the room. He was staring at the door when he heard Nandini's voice.. he snapped his head and looks at her who was running to him... her hair was messy.. her face was pale..

Kaka stood up...

Nandini reaches to her and asked about Manik while crying..

Nandini: man...ik..

Kaka : Doctor is checking him..

Nandini composed herself and moves to door... she looks through glass window and saw Manik lying down lifeless on bed.. fresh tears rolled down her cheeks.. she turns back to kaka who was looking at door too..

Nandini: how... did this happen.?

Kaka then explained how he went to Manik's room and found him unconscious..

Nandini breath got stuck hearing all that.. she blamed herself letting Manik go at malthora house alone..

Soon they heard door opening.. both snapped their head at door and saw doctor coming out..Nandini rushed to and starts asking question none stop..

Nandini: Doctor.... how is he... is he okay? Doctor... is he fine?

Doctor looks at her..

Doctor : you are?

Nandini: Nandini.. Murthy..

Doctor : is he related to you... i mean what relation you have with patient?

Nandini: I' m his girlfriend... doctor is he okay?

Doctor : miss Murthy could you come to my cabin please.. and yes inform his family member too.. they need to know about Manik Malhotra...

Nandini: Doctor....he..

Doctor : please follow me...

Nandini bobbed her head and walks to doctor cabin not before glancing at Manik...

Nandini teaching to doctor cabin saw him sitting and reading... she calls his name..

Nandini: Doctor...

Doctor looks up..

Doctor : please have seat..

Nandini sat down..

Nandini: Doctor you are scaring me... is he fine... is something to worry about?

Doctor: miss Murthy there is nothing to worry.. but before telling you about Manik health.. can I ask you something..

Nandini nods her head..

Doctor : are you aware of Manik taking anti-depression pills and he gets panic attacks..

A shock written over Nandini's face... she was shock. Why wouldn't she... Manik had panic attack and she wasn't there when he needed her... seeing Nandini shock face doctor assumed she didn't knew..

Doctor : Nandini..

Nandini: Doctor.... did that..means... he had panic attack...

Doctor : yes he did. Do you have any idea why he go sudden panic attack...

Nandini: no doctor... he never had panic attack... I was aware of him taking anti- depression pills... but doctor he stopped taking pills since months... I have stopped from taking it.. then how is it possible to have panic attacks?

Doctor : Panic attacks can be occurs anytime... there must something happened which trigger Manik have panic attack...

Nandini felt like her throat drying up....

Nandini: Doctor...

Doctor : don't worry miss Murthy.. not much harm to Manik.. he was brought to hospital on correct time. He is still unconscious.. if he doesn't get his conscious in few hours then he may go to coma.. just pray for him...

As doctor said coma Nandini's body shivered.. Nandini couldn't lose Manik.. she can't lose him.. she will fight for him.. for his life.. Nandini unknowingly got up and walks towards door.. doctor called her name but she didn't heard any voice.. only words echoing in her ears was her Manik life is still in danger.. she will fight for his life..

Nandini walks passed Manik's room and saw temple in hospital... she fell down and folded her hand.. she prayed for Manik well being...

After hour.. Nandini was sitting hugging chachi and silent crying.. chachi who got to know about Manik being in hospital she rushed to hospital and saw Nandini sitting front of Manik's room... chachi rushed to Nandini and pulled her in hug.. feeling mother touch Nandini hugged chachi and cried..

Kaka was silent standing leaning to door and seeing them... kaka then thought about fab4.. he walks to reception and asked if he would call someone.. receptionist nodded and gave him the phone..

Kaka immediately dialled cabir number but cabir didn't pick his phone.. kaka sighed and dialled alya.. even she didn't.. like this kaka dialled every member of fab 4 but they were too busy in their life.... kaka thought why they are picking the call but who knew they are not same fab 4 who loves Manik..

Kaka thanked receptionist and went to back to them..

Doctor comes out and saw Nandini..

Doctor : miss Murthy..

Nandini hearing doctor comes out chachi arms and stoop up..

Nandini: has he......

Doctor : I'm sorry... but he hasn't....

Nandini face fell hearing doctor..

Nandini: can I meet him... please..

Doctor : but..

Nandini: please..

Doctor nods his head and leaves while Nandini went inside.. she slowly walks in towards Manik.. she sat down on stool and stared his face.. new fresh tears welled up seeing his face pale.. her eyes traveled to his hand which was bandaged... she felt crying hugging him tightly..... she then brought her hand go to his face traced his bandage his hand... she brought his hand close to lips and placed a soft kiss... a tear escaped from her eyes falling on his hand... she then looks at his face and traced his face..

While looking at him she couldn't control her tears.. she kept her head on his chest and starts crying making his hospital clothes wet....

Nandini: I... am.... sorry..... sorry Manik.... I'm sorry... because of me you are in hospital... I shouldn't... have left you alone... I should have knew.. in your anger... you would do something like this.. I'm sorry.. Manik.. please don't punish.... pleases open your eyes.... look I'm here... Manik...

She cried hugging him while chachi and kaka from outside and looks at her..

Chachi wipes her tears and looks at kaka..

Chachi: Manik... mom.. dad.. where are they?

Kaka looks at chachi hearing her...

Kaka : woh.. Manik baba mom... she ....

He didn't knew how to share about neyonika to chachi.. every butler in malthora house knows about Manik and neyonika relation....

Chachi : what about his dad?

Kaka : he is coming tomorrow morning...

Chachi nods and sat down and prayed for Manik...

Next morning..

A person in 40s walks to hospital and looks at receptionist...

Person : excuse me.. could you tell me room number of Manik Malhotra is in?

Receptionist: room 300 to left..

Person : thank you..

The person thanking receptionists walks to Manik's room ... the person recognised kaka outside of Manik's room and called his name..

Person : kaka..

Kaka hearing familiar voice turns around and saw his sir..

Kaka : raj sir..

Yes the person was none than raj malthora. Manik's dad who lives in London away from Manik because of neyonika....

Raj walks to him and hugged kaka.. while chachi stood there with confuse face seeing them.. they broke hug..

Raj : Manik?

Kaka : he is still unconscious...

Raj then saw chachi..

Raj : who is she?

Kaka : Nandini chachi!

Raj : Nandini is here also..

Kaka nods.. raj knows about Nandini but never seen her picture or spoke to her.. Manik has told raj about Nandini and his relationship.. raj was happy for his son..

Raj walks to chachi..

Raj : myself Manik dad.. raj malthora..

Chachi: hello...

Raj then turns to kaka..

Raj : what did doctor said? When will Manik get his conscious back?

Kaka : Doctor said there high chance of Manik baba slipping into coma..

Raj : no.. I will talk to doctor.. Nandini..

Kaka : she is with Manik...

Raj nods and decided to see Nandini... he opens the door and saw Manik lying down and Nandini heads on his chest.. seeing them together a smile appeared on his face.. he walks to them and kept hand on Nandini's head..

Nandini who was wake all night hoping Manik will get his conscious back.. she was still lying her head on his chest when she felt hand on her head.. she lifts head up and saw raj... she frowned thinking who is he? Knowing what's going in Nandini's head raj spoke..

Raj : can I have few words with you..

Nandini nods her head and moves away from Manik and come at side of the room and saw raj looking at her...

Nandini: uncle... who are you?

Raj : you called me uncle and still asking who am I?

Nandini looks at her and reminds of Manik..

Nandini : sorry uncle... you...

Raj : raj malthora..

Nandini gasped hearing his name... her face was worth watching thought raj..

Nandini: Manik... dad..

Raj : yes.. I will give you my introduction better way... I want to ask you all something...

Nandini : uncle you can ask anything..

Raj : where is Manik's friends? Why aren't they here knowing he is in hospital?

Hearing about fab 4 Nandini face fell down which didn't unnoticed by raj.. he was worried thinking what could have happened between Manik and fab 4...

Raj : Nandini....

Nandini: uncle do I have to answer that?

Nandini didn't want to tell raj without Manik..

Raj : yes you have to.. Without fearing about Manik tell me what happened with Manik? Somewhere I feel him being in hospital has connection with fab 4... Nandini please....

Nandini sighed and explained whatever happened today in space.. raj shocking hearing other face of fab 4.. he never thought they would be reason of his son being in his hospital.. raj face was turning bed.. his face boiled in anger knowing what happened with his son.. he looks at Nandini who was crying.. he pulls in her hug and patted her head...

Raj : I'm sorry.... you had to go with through all this... sorry... princess stop crying...

He lovingly called her princess which made Nandini stop crying and looks at him.. he wipes her tears and kissed her forehead..

Raj : don't cry .... hmm... they don't deserve your or Manik's friendship...

Their little talks were disturbed as they heard whispered.. both turns their head around and saw Manik moving his finger..... Nandini ran to him and held his held..

Nandini: Manik... Manik..

Manik slowly opens his eyes and looks at Nandini... he saw her in tears.. he have her weak smile in return he got punch on his stomach.... he then felt her hugging her... Manik slowly wraps his arms around her.. he heard her sniff...

Manik : na...Nandini..... stop... crying... I'm fine...

Nandini didn't leave him when Manik heard another voice.. his eyes diverted from Nandini to source of voice and saw his dad.. he got shocked seeing him there..

Raj who was adorning the couple decided to jump in as he couldn't hear Nandini crying.. in small time Nandini made special space in his heart.. raj walks to Manik and smiled..

Raj : Manik... how are you?

Manik: da... dad... you..

Raj : yes.. kaka called me yesterday... I had to come.. Manik what is this?

Manik looks away hearing raj question...

Nandini clings to Manik's chest but her cry was silent..

After sometime doctor comes and check Manik.. raj requested doctor to discharge Manik.. on request doctor allowed Manik get discharged.. raj went out with doctor to fill discharge papers..

Chachi and kaka met Manik and asked about his health.. Manik assured he is fine and send kaka and chachi home.. both didn't want to leave him but he made them leave..

Now only was manan in the room..

Nandini wasn't looking at Manik which was making Manik worry.. he calls her name..

Manik : Nandini...

Nandini: Manik i don't want to hear anything... you don't own me any explanation... why Manik? You told me we will fight together but why this? Didn't you think about me... did you?

She lashed at him.. how could he do this to her.. Manik looks down..

Nandini : don't look down Manik... this is why I didn't want to leave you alone but you... you know seeing you on hospital bed what I felt... Manik you had pain attack... Manik.. are you listening to me...

Manik : sorry...

Nandini : Manik please don't do this again... please..

She looks at him... his hand reached to wipe her tears off.. at the same time raj entered with doctor.. both moved shifted side..

Doctor gave advise Manik to rest.. later the evening Manik was discharged.. Nandini went to them..

Next day raj told Manik his decision shifting London.. Manik was shocked but then thought.. he agreed and told raj that he Will speak to Nandini..

Manik was sitting in his room and Nandini was cutting fruits for him.. while cutting she saw him looking lost..

Nandini forward fruit to him...

Nandini: Manik..

Manik : huh..

Nandini : what are you thinking?

Manik : woh... dad wants me to shift to London..

Nandini looks at him shockingly... him shifting... will she live without him..

Nandini: do you want live with uncle..

Manik : I don't know.. I mean... there is nothing left here.. I'm thinking to starts new life...

Nandini: what have you decided?

Manik : to shift to London... but...

Nandini: but..

Manik : I don't want to shift alone.. I mean will you come with me...

Nandini: Manik... me.. amms.. chachi.. Chacha.. rishab.. how can I come with you?

Manik : if you want i can talk to them.. Nandini I won't leave you here alone.. I want to start new life with you and dad... you don't worry about dad.. dad won't mind.. please say you will come with me.. I will talk to your family and amms..

Nandini thought about his words..

Nandini: if amms doesn't agree then I'll not come..

Manik nods making Nandini surprise.. was Manik going to leave her alone in India .... was this going to be end of this relationship... but Manik Malhotra is Manik malthora.. how will Manik malthora not be able to convince amms... he wasn't going to leave Nandini to start new life.. he will start his new life with his Nandini only..

After week manan with raj finally left to London forever.... Manik managed to convince amms and Murthy's..

That day manan thought to starts new life with each other and raj forgetting past..

Flashback ends..

Manik wipes tears hearing raj voice and immediately hid the album under his pillow... he again heard raj voice..

Manik got down moves to open the door..

Manik : dad why shouting?

Raj : Manik what happened? You didn't come down to have lunch..

Raj then noticed his dried tears on his cheeks.. raj lifts his face up and looks to him..

Raj : did you cry Manik...

That was for Manik... Manik hugged raj tightly making raj started... raj heard Manik's sniff..

Raj broke hug and took Manik to bed.. he sat opposite Manik and looks at him..

Raj : Manik.. Why you crying?

Manik : dad.... Nandini...

Raj : what happened to princess? She went out...

Manik then kept his head in raj lap and held his hand like small baby... raj was startled seeing new shade of Manik.. he never seen this side of Manik.. he was getting worried thinking why Manik is behaving like this..

Raj ran his hand into Manik's hair and called his name..

Raj : Manik... please tell what happened to princess? Is she fine..

Manik : dad... she is still not over two years incident... I have tried it.. but she still feels insecure and sacred thinking she will lose me.. dad what should I do... how can I remove that fear she has.. dad she is trying to hide her pain from me... she is clearly not over what happened last night.. she is pretending to be happy for us only.. I can see pain in her eyes... dad I can't see her like that.... she trying to be happy.. dad how long she will pretend to be happy..

Raj : Manik.. I can understand what you saying.. but give princess time.. she will be fine.. you already know you both are.. both you can't see scratch on each other... you both are see each other in pain.. she trying to be happy for you.. give her time.. time will heal you both.. make her happy.. don't never her side.. hmm.. don't cry.. if she finds out that Manik Malhotra is crying then do you what will happen..

Manik lightly chuckled hearing raj last line.. he bobbed his head and got up..

Manik : thank you dad..

Raj smiled and patted his head as he got up..

Raj : wash your face and come down.. they would be coming home any time.. remember you promised princess go be down front of her eyes once she reach home..

Manik nods and went up washroom while raj thought how to keep fab 4 away from his children..

Manik and raj was sitting hall with tv on when they heard loud scream.. both got startled and got up and to see who is it..

As they saw Nandini running and screaming Manik's name which made both men's worried.. Nandini coming to Manik jumped hugging him making Him shock but he hugged her back and smiled lightly.. he rubs her hair and pecks her hair..

Manik : Jaan..

He felt peace hugging her.. Nandini broke hug and smiled making him smile brightly.. then Nandini moves to raj and hugged him too..

Raj : princess why you screamed?

Nandini: woh... I wanted to see Manik..

Manik : Jaan but you scared us..

Nandini: sorry..

She held her ears and made sorry face.. Manik pulled her in side hug and pecked left side forehead..
then they saw amms and Shannoo coming..

All got settled in hall.. Manik and Nandini was sitting cosy with each other..

Manik : Neela maa didn't come?

Amms : Manik beta she had some work.. she said she will come tomorrow with Ashish and avni..

Manik nods.. before they could starts conversation they heard another yell of Manik's name... while Manik palmed his face knowing who was yelling out....

All others looks at door and saw angry abhi standing at door.. all got confuse seeing him but mostly seeing him in anger.. Nandini seeing abhi moves out of Manik's arms and ran to hug abhi..

Nandini: Bhai...

Abhi leaving his anger side hugged Nandini and smiled.. they broke hug and walks inside..

Raj : abhi when did you come back?

Abhi : dad you should be asking this question to this idiot Manik malthora?

Abhi said glaring at Manik who was looking there and there but not at abhi..

Nandini: how supposed to mani know when you coming back?

Abhi : I told this idiot pick me up but god knows what he got busy in that he forget about me.. I waited at airport hour...

Nandini: mani...

Manik quickly jumped in..

Manik : I'm sorry abhi.. it slipped out my of head?

Abhi : really.. what was you doing all day?

Manik : a.h. Abhi I'm sorry.... Nandini I'm going in room..

Manik left while others watched him going..

Abhi : I'm sorry.. did I say something wrong?

Raj : abhi no you didn't.. fresh up then we will have dinner..

Abhi nods and looks at Nandini who gave him smile.. abhi seeing Nandini smile knew something happened in his absence but what?

Abhi went to fresh up while others sat down.. Nandini excusing herself went to their room and saw Manik sitting on bed and staring at ceiling..

Nandini: mani..

She calls him out to bring him out of his thought. Manik looks at her and gestures her to come. She comes on bed and Manik side hug her..

Nandini: are you angry with Bhai..

Manik : no.. I'm thinking what will happen knowing they are here.. he will be hurt... especially seeing Mukti...

Nandini: hmm.. but we can't hide from Bhai..

Manik: I know.. but I'm worried for avni.. what will happen if she gets to know about Mukti and avni..

Nandini: avni is mature mani.. she Will understand why Bhai hid it.. you don't worry.. I will talk to her..

Manik : talk to her but after abhi has told her about his past.. hmm..

Nandini nods and leaned to his chest and entwined their hands..

I'm back.. guys..

Yesterday I have you all good news. Hope you all are okay with that ..

My note : please don't say anything about Manik having panic attack.. those things are not easy to ignore... depression and panic attacks Manik suffered from his childhood but no one knew expect Nandini.. it might overthink big I don't thinks so.. that's my opinion..

I had really difficult to write Manik's past.. god knows how I wrote it..
