Nandini was sitting on bed leaning her head to headboard and looking lost in her thoughts when Manik comes inside the room holding tray of food.. he saw her looking lost. He then walks to bed and kept the tray on bed. He settled beside her and called her name softly.

Manik : Jaan.. Jaan..

He called her few time but he didn't get any response back.. his heart broke seeing her like this.. he then slipped his hand to her hold hers... as his hand got touched Nandini diverted her gaze to him.. she saw his worry face but more than pain in his eyes.. she knew he was breaking seeing her like that..

Manik with his left hand cups her face and makes her look at him..

Manik : Jaan why you punishing yourself because of them... you can't be like this... why you letting them affect you.. wasn't you who told me to be strong and face our past then how can you let yourself stuffer.. Jaan trust me I won't let them harm us... our relationship.. our family.. they can't harm us.. don't your trust your mani..

Even his eyes became teary seeing her in tears.. he knew she wasn't strong girl but she was sacred to loose him.. how can his Nandini be weak when she was the one who supported him when he was suffering.. she is the one who made him strong.. she is the one who supported him in every moments then how can she fall weak.. both were crying but didn't say word... their eyes were filled with fresh tears.. Manik's hand reached to rub her tears off.. he wipes her tears off while Nandini hand too reached to wipe his tears..

Both are pillar of each other.. both wiped each other tears off and hugged each other.. Manik caressed her and pecks her hair while Nandini tightly hugged and sobbed lightly.. he was aware of her tears but let her cry..

After sometime Manik broke hug and cups her face again.. he wipes her tears again and looks at her lovingly..

Manik : Jaan.. I know you don't feel like eating but for me have something.. you can't stay empty stomach for long.. you didn't eat last night too.. please little have something....

He then brought tray between his legs and took first morsel and forward to Nandini.. he looks at her..

Manik : please..

He saw her opening her mouth slowly.. he fed her first bite while she starts chewing it for him only.. Manik fed her more bites while she found difficult shallow them.... fresh tears brimmed and fell on Manik's knuckles... he looks at her and nods no.. he gave her another bite. She was intensely staring him.. Manik forward another bite to her when she held his hand and looks at him.. even he got confuse and looks at her..

Manik : Jaan last bite... have this please..

Nandini didn't say anything but took morsel in her hand and forward to Manik.. Manik knowing her he took the bite and starts chewing.. Nandini fed him more bites while she was continuously staring him.. her eyes didn't leave his face.. she was still scared thinking that he will leave her.. Manik was aware of her intense gaze.. he knew it will take time to make her understand that he will never leave her.. no matter what..

Manik chewing the bite and looks at Nandini..

Manik: Jaan remember one thing.. I will not leave you.. that day I didn't chose you over them thinking that in future I'll leave you.. I can never leave my soul my life my Jaan.. you're are soul Jaan.. never think I'll leave you for them.. they lost me two years back.. it's you who taught me not go back in past.. then why I go back to them.. they doesn't deserve us Jaan.. I know you are sacred because of them but sacred to lose me... you can't see me going away from you.. Jaan I won't leave you.... Jaan please for me.. for our family stop thinking about our past.. you are right past only hurts.. I'm hurt seeing you like this.. I can't see you like this.. I want my Jaan back.. who smiles.. who has beautiful curved on her face all the time.. I want my Jaan back who makes me happy by mere presence of yours.. I promise to you Jaan I won't let anyone harm us.. trust me.. trust your mani.. I'm here for you Jaan.. no one is happy seeing you like this especially me and dad.. think about us Jaan... dad.. it's only you who can make him smile.. His eyes didn't stop at all.. she couldn't see him in tears like he can't hers.. she just crashed into his arms and mumbled his name against his chest..

Nandini: ma...ni... mani..

Manik : sshhs Jaan.. don't say word.. I'm here for you.. don't think too much yesterday.. whatever happened I can't change it.. please stop crying.. you will get ill.. please Jaan.. trust your mani.. I'll take care of everything.. our whole family is with us.. hmm..

He broke hug but she clings hugging him.. he caressed her hair and pecks her hair number of times.... Nandini sobs were calmed down while Manik was caressing her hair.. hen also was pecking her hair..

After some time Nandini moves from his chest and looks at him.. she then cups his face and kissed his forehead.. while he closed his eyes feeling her lips on his skin... he was relaxing feeling her lips... Nandini then traced he fingers on his face and stared him...

Manik's eyes was still closed.. Nandini finally looks at his lips which looks dry.. she moves to close to him and placed her lips on his... she gently kissed him while he was shocked at her action.. he didn't thought she will kiss him... but he responded the kiss gently too.. both broke the kiss and rested their head on each other.. both were looking down..

Nandini: I'm sorry mani..

Manik heard her.. he immediately looks at her and saw her looking down.. he then with his finger lifts her head up and made her look at him..

Manik: you don't have to be sorry Jaan.. if I was at your place I would have done same.. I know you are sacred to loose me again.. Jaan i know what you are going through.. if I was in your place then I would have done same..but Jaan we have to stay strong.. we have to be each other strength.. not weakness of each other.. Jaan your are my strength and weakness too.. I don't want you to be my weakness this time.. I want you be my strength and be my side.. I don't need anyone when I have you.. Jaan. Your weakness will only breaks us only..promise me you will be strength not my weakness..

He forward his hand to her and looks at her.. while she was in tears hearing him..she slowly slipped her hand in his... Manik held her hand and smiled..

Manik : I knew my Jaan will be strength not my weakness... always remember I love you.. never think that I'll ever leave you...

He then moves forward and kissed her forehead... Manik then moves back and looks at her.. his hand was still holding her hand.

Manik : Jaan dad wants to see you... will you come out..

Nandini looks at him.. Nandini simply nods her head..

Manik : come wash your face then we will meet dad..

Manik takes her up washroom and made her stand front of sink.. he opens the tap..

Manik : Jaan wash your face..

Nandini took water on her palm and splashed water on her face... she did it few times then turns back to Manik who was standing behind her.. she gave him wake smile.. her smile didn't reached to her face... Manik then took towel beside him which was hanging... he moves close and wiped her face..

Manik wiping her face kept the towel back and cups her face.. he planted a soft kiss on her forehead.. he then held her hand and took her out washroom..

Manik : shall we..

Nandini nods her head.. Manik still holding her hand took her out of the room.. As he came out he saw everyone sitting in hall.. Both reached to them and Manik called raj name..

Manik : dad..

Hearing Manik's voice everyone turns back and saw Manik then their eyes fell on Nandini who was beside Manik and looking down... raj seeing Nandini stood up and moves to her.. he stood opposite her and lovingly called her name..

Raj : princess..

Nandini slowly lifts her head up and looks at raj who was almost in tears seeing her.. Nandini nods no.. raj not able to control his tears he pulls Nandini in hug and a tear escaped on her shoulder.. while others stood there and adoring them..

Nandini: dad..

She whispered... raj didn't broke the hug... Nandini again whispered..

Nandini: dad... dad.. I'm okay...

Raj broke hug and cups her face..

Raj : why you doing this? Why you crying? You forget you have family who loves you unconditionally.... princess I won't talk to you if cry thinking about them..can I get my princess back... I don't like this princess.. she is crying like baby.. I want my princess who is strong.. who smile carefree.. who loves me and Manik unconditionally.. I want her back... send this cry baby Nandini back... can I get her back..

Nandini finally smiled in her tears.. raj words always makes her smile.. she smiling hugs him back... raj caressed her hair.. he broke the hug and kissed her forehead..

Raj : now give me big smile which I love a lot in your face.. no more tears in your eyes.. only smile.. hmm..

Nandini tried smiling at him but it didn't happen...

Raj : not like this princess.. a smile which me and Manik loves... big one.. you can do much better than this.. come princess try...

Nandini smiled again to make raj happy but the smile he want to see wasn't happening.. he only how to make Nandini happy and smile the way she does.. raj looks at Manik and nods.. raj and Manik starts tickling Nandini who burst in laughter.... her laugh echoed in the mansion.. raj and Manik continued tickling her till she laugh her heart out.. while Murthy were smiling in their tears.. they were happy seeing a beautiful family front of them.. Murthy's prayed for this family happiness to aiyappa..

While this side Nandini tried controlling her laugh but miserably failed.. her laugh was peace of Manik and raj.. finally they are peace hearing her laugh.. why don't need anything but her smile and laugh.. Manik and raj looks at raj and Manik picks Nandini up in his arm and made her sit on sofa.. then Manik and raj sat either side of Nandini.. Nandini was sitting middle between them... she was still laughing which made her eyes teary up.. her eyes were filled with fresh tears... Manik using his thumb wipes her tears up while raj tickled her last time then pulls Nandini and Manik in group hug.. all three hugged each other.. smile didn't leave Murthy faces... all was happy seeing them..

Raj/ Manik: I love you princess/ Jaan..

Both men's shouted loudly in hug making Nandini deaf.. she felt her eardrums paining... she felt her rubbing ears when she felt hand rubbing her ears.. she looks up and saw her father and man rubbing either side of her ears...she was truly blessed to have them... she opens her mouth to speak but stopped hearing Manik and raj..

Raj / Manik : sorry...

She was again engulfed in hug by them. This is time was tight hug.. she hugged them back... they broke hug then Manik and raj kissed Nandini cheek making smile lightly...

Raj : princess always be happy.. we love you..

Nandini: I love you too dad..

she had to forget past and move on for her family.. she couldn't let them suffer because of herself.. Nandini then got up and hugged amms , Shannoo and Venkatesh.. while hugging them she apologised for her behaviour.. lastly she hugged rishab who was smiling looking at her....

Nandini: sorry rishu..

Rishab smiled and hugged her back and said..

Rishab : I love you..

Nandini just ruffled his hair and smiled looking at her.. while father and son was admiring her with smile.. at the end they made her forget everything.. thought she is not fully look happy but for family she is trying to be happy.. they know it will take time get everything back to normal....

After hour all were sitting in hall when Manik's phone rang.. he took his phone out and saw call from his pa.. he then excused himself and took the phone.. soon he came back and sat beside raj... he looks at Nandini who was lying her head in amms lap and amms was caressing Nandini's hair... he then looks at raj.. he moves close to raj ear and whispered..

Manik : dad..

Raj looks at him..

Manik : dad I think we should take Nandini out.. she still over thinking about last night.. what do you think?

Raj hearing Manik looks at Nandini who was looking Lost.. he looks back to Manik who was staring Nandini too..

Raj : Manik.. I think you are right.. send princess out..

Manik : hmm.. I think we should send chachi ana amms with her.. if they spend with Nandini then Nandini might forget about yesterday..

Raj : you're right.. you take Nandini up and convince her.. while I tell Amms and Shannoo taking Nandini out.. and inform Neela too come.. Nandini will be happy Seeing Neela..

Manik nods hand took his phone and messaged Neela quickly to come malthora mansion.. after messaging Neela Manik kept his Phone back and looks at raj and gave him light smile.. he then looks at Nandini and calls her..

Manik: Nandini..

Nandini who was looking lost and laying down in amms lap didn't hear Manik.. other too heard Manik and looks at him.. Manik not getting response back from Nandini stood up and moves to them.. he bend down on his knees and kept his one hand in Nandini's hair.. amms withdraw her hand back seeing Manik..

Manik : Jaan...

This time hearing Jaan from Manik Nandini looks at him and saw sitting on the floor.. she tried getting up but Manik nodded no..

Manik : don't move.. will you do something for me?

Nandini: what do I have to do?

Manik: come with me.. I'll explain to you..

Manik removed his hand from her hair and forward to her.. Nandini held his hand and stoop up.. Manik too stood up and looking at raj he took Nandini to his room..

Manik closed the door behind him once he reached inside.. he looks Nandini who was giving him confuse look.. he cupped her face and pecks her forehead..

Nandini: mani...

Manik : Jaan.. will you go out for shopping...

Nandini: why shopping? I won't leave you alone.. I won't go mani...

Manik : Jaan Listen we cant stop leaving our life just because they are here.. Jaan you promised you won't remember them then why can't you go out.. please Jaan with amms and chachi go to shopping... please.. for me..

Nandini looks at him then thought to go out thinking she will feel better and shopping is way Where she divert her mind..

Nandini: okay.. once I'm home you will be sitting in hall and waiting for me.. if I don't see you then don't come near me..

She threatened him..while he laughed lightly hearing her threat. Even this time she didn't forget to threat him.. Manik bobbed his head..

Manik : promise once you come back from shopping you will find your mani sitting in hall..

Nandini: good boy.. should I get change..

Manik : no need.. you look beautiful in this.. just take care of yourself.. don't stress too much..

Nandini nods.. Nandini then grabbed her bag and saw Manik kneel watching her.. she looking at him smiled..

Nandini: shall I leave..

Manik: you know your mani is not blind.. I can see you hiding your pain.. Jaan..

Nandini avoided his gaze and looks down.. Manik lifts her chin up and made her look at him..

Manik : Take care Jaan..

Nandini: I will take care of myself mani.. you too take care of yourself and dad..

Manik smiled and kissed forehead.. he then moves to get his car keys and wallet.. Nandini watched him..

Nandini ( mind) I'm sorry mani. I'm not your strong Jaan... she failed to save you yesterday... when you needed me I wasn't there... I failed to support you.. because of me last night you had panic attack again.. I was reason of yours panic attack.. I'm sorry mani.. today I'm promising your mani.. they will get punish making you suffer.. this is my promise to you...

She quickly wiped her tears as she saw Manik turning around..Manik comes to her held her hand..

Manik : let's go.

Nandini nodding her head went down with him.

Manik dropping amms, Shannoo and Nandini to shopping mall came back to malthora house.. he didn't see anyone in the house.. he called butler.. soon butler came out and saw Manik..

Kaka : Manik baba..

Manik : kaka where is dad, chacha.. and rishab?

Kaka: baba Venkatesh sir took rishab baba out and raj sir is in study room..

Manik : okay..could you send coffee into my room..

Kaka : okay baba..

Manik left to his room... coming inside his room he went to washroom and wiped his face and hands.. wiping his face and comes out and went his closet.. he picks album and sat down on bed.. he comfortable and traced his finger on front page of album.. Manik reading the title of album smiled..

"Together We Make A Family"

Manik again traced the title. As he was tracing the title his smile grew more bigger... his face didn't leave that smile.. he opens the first page and smiled seeing the picture..

Manik : our small world..

It was picture of manan with raj.. he kept flipping the album... at the end he was smiling in tears remembering those memories.. he had everything in his life expect his mother. A giggle escaped thought of mother..

Manik closed the album and kept it side then he picks his and Nandini picture from table beside his bed.. he caressed their picture. He smiled seeing their happiness..

He was thinking how one day changed his entire life.. how one day changed everything? How one day showed him true face of some people who he loved more than his life..

He went to flashback of the day where everything got change..

Two years back where everything was going to change forever...

Manik and Nandini were sitting on staircase where they normal sit during break or when they meet each other.. Manik and Nandini was silent sitting down.. Nandini hid her face into Manik's chest.. she was crying.. her cries was silent but Manik could clearly hear it..he tried breaking the hug but Nandini didn't let him..

Nandini after sometime broke hug herself.. she lifts her chin up and looks at him.. their eyes got locked with each other.. both deeply stared conveying their feelings.. both were feeling like crying.. why wouldn't they cry when they friends betrayed..they never thought their friends will try to separate them....

Their eyes were filled with tears.. Manik hand reached to cup her face.. he cups her face and wipes her tears..

Manik : don't Nandini.. don't cry for them.. today they made me realised how foolish I was believing on them.. I never thought they will ask me choose you or them.. never.. it was mistake trusting them so blindly.. because of me they pointed finger our relationship.. I'm sorry Nandini.. i always make you cry.. I'm
Sorry.. I'm so bad... everyone said true.. I'm monster but I failed.. seeing their real motives.. they just used me...I'm sorry...

Nandini: Manik.. it's not your fault.. it your not fault trusting them.. they took your advantage of your kindness.. you have pure heart Manik.. they took advantage of of your money... don't blame yourself.. they don't deserve you... you know your friends was not yours but friend for your money.. forget them...

Manik : no Nandini... I can't forget their insult.. they only didn't insult me but Insulted you.. I will not tolerate someone insulting you.. I won't....

Nandini saw his blood shot eyes... she had to calm him down before he take any dangerous step..

Nandini: Manik.. calm down.. let's go home... let's go..

Manik stood up and turned to leave but stopped hearing Nandini...

Nandini: one step you take then you will loose me..

He froze at his track.. he can't loose Nandini..his friends has already showed him their reality.. he can't let Nandini leave him too.. he couldn't.. he turns around and pulled her in hug immediately... the pull was very harsh..

Manik hugged her tightly.. Nandini felt his grip tightened on her...

Manik : don't leave me.. you can't leave..

His voice held pain.. Nandini broke hug and cups his face..

Nandini : I'll never leave you Manik.. but Manik you did to think.. you can't just go to them and shout.. your anger won't do anything.. they don't want us.. they don't.. they tried separating us.. Manik.. they want you only.. not me.. Manik control your anger.. we can't let your anger overpower you.. you need to control.. let's go home and think what to do... please..

Manik tried understanding her. Bursting at them wouldn't help them at all.. they need to think calmly not in anger..

Manik: I'm sorry.. my anger is also bad..

Nandini: I know.. let's go home.. come..

Manik didn't wanted to take Nandini with him..

Manik : Nandini you should go your home.. I mean chachi will be worry not seeing you at home.. I'll meet you tomorrow morning in collage..

Nandini: I call chachi and tell I'm going to be with you..

Manik: no Nandini.. chachi will get worried..please Nandini you go home..

Nandini: I don't trust you... I'll go home but promise you won't take any wrong step..

Manik : promise I won't..

Nandini: don't break my trust Manik...

Manik: i won't.. come let me drop you..

Nandini nods.. both walks out college to Manik's car.. as they were standing near car they saw fab 4 and navya passing them.. as they walked passed manan all of them gave them dirty look... Nandini was least affected by dirty look by them but Manik couldn't control his anger.. he was going to punch dhruv as he was near them.. before he could Nandini held his hand and nods no..

Fab 4 saw this and smirked...

Dhruv : buddy she is already controlled your life...so sad.. Manik Malhotra who doesn't like being control but this bloody has authority to control you.. poor you..

Dhruv laughing left followed by others while Manik banged his hand on his car... Nandini got scared and yelled his name..

Nandini: manikkk..

She immediately held his hand and saw his hand swollen..

Nandini: what's wrong with you Manik?

Manik : what's wrong with you Nandini? Can't you see how they are talking to you? How can they? You expect me to be quiet when they are insulting you... no Nandini I won't..

Nandini : Manik Calm Down please.. please..

Manik : sit in car..

He said with stern voice.. Nandini tried speaking out but his glare made her scared.. she went her side and sat down.. Manik took driver seat and starts driving to Nandini house..

None of them exchanged words.. Nandini was looking outside of window while Manik was driving with his full focus....

Manik stopped his car front of Nandini house..

Manik : we have reached..

Nandini hearing him look at him and saw looking at road instead of her...

Nandini: Manik...

Manik : Nandini please.. I don't want to talk... please..

Nandini: okay fine.. take care..

She opens the door and got down.. she turned back and saw him looking at her... Nandini rang the bell... soon Shannoo opens the door and saw Nandini.. Nandini went inside..

As manik saw Nandini going from his sight he drove to malthora mansion...

At malthora mansion parking his car.. he comes out and move to the entrance.. he was walking to his room but stopped hearing voice which he hated most.. he turns around and saw her.. neyonika malthora his mother who didn't deserve to be called as mother..

Manik : neyonika what do you want?

Neyonika: I don't want anything Manik? But there is something I need to tell you?

Manik : Listen I'm not in good mood to hear your shit talks.. don't waste my time..

Neyonika: really Manik.. my talks is shit then what about the girl for whom you leaving fab 5... do you even realise what are you doing? Manik how could you leave fab 5 for her? How could you?

Manik: just shut up.. you are no one to interfere in my life.. it shouldn't bother what I'm doing.. okay.. mind your own business neyonika..

Neyonika: Manik don't forget I am your mother.. is this how you talk to your mother.. and why shouldn't I bother.. you are ruining your life.. for whom a middle class girl... you really think this is love between you both.. Manik why you are not understanding.. she is behind your money.. Manik she is not right girl for you.. you don't even know what she does behind your back.. you can't break your friendship with fab 5...

Manik : shut up neyonika... what mother are you talking about? Have you ever gave reason to be called mother? Have you? No.. then why you think you are my mother? You're just neyonika malthora and my dad wife.. nothing else.. I'm tolerating you because of dad... what did you say? Nandini is middle class girl.. so what if she is.. at least she isn't like you... she doesn't sleep with other boys... she is not like yours.. don't fucking take her name out from shitty mouth.. good words doesn't suit you neyonika.. it doesn't..

Neyonika fumed in angry...

Neyonika: how dare you Manik? How could you compare me with that middle class girl?

Manik : don't shout neyonika.. I'm not comparing you.. but stating fact about you and her.. there is very difference between you and her..you are no near her... you can't even be like her.. you can't... never say word against Nandini.. if you mutter word against Nandini then you will face real Manik Malhotra..

Neyonika : are you threatening me Manik.. if you think so then don't forget I am also neyonika malthora.. I'm not scared of you Manik.. I will make that girl doesn't come ok this house... she will never malthora... I will make sure she doesn't... mark my words Manik.

She stormed out of there while Manik didn't give any heed to her words.. he climbed the stairs his room..

He reached to his room.. he locks the door and sat down leaning his head to door and looks at particular area..
