Manik was in his cabin when his phone rang.. he took his phone out and saw caller Id. He smirked seeing the caller Id..

Manik : hello who is this?

Caller : hello... really?

Manik pressed his lips to control not to laugh.

Manik starts laughing loudly.. while from other side person starts cursing Manik.. Manik controlled his laugh..

Manik ended the call and smiled.. he then saw the time and stood up.. he wore his blazer.... he then closed his laptop and kept it in his bag.. he packed his stuff and walked out of his cabin..

He walked straight to Nandini cabin.. he swiped his finger on her door lock and entered inside.. he saw her working with full focus.. he smiled and called her name..

Manik : Jaan..

Nandini who was working on her presentation which she had to present in hour. She was making some change which Manik told her as he checked the presentation. He found some mistake which could have been corrected which Nandini was doing before meeting starts.. as she heard Manik's voice she looks up and passes smile to him... Manik came to Nandini and looks at who close laptop after saving work and stood up..

She side hugged Manik.. Manik wrapped his arms around her..

Nandini: you leaving..

Manik : hmm..

Nandini: what time you will come back?

Manik : it will take two hours talking to them... maybe around 10 I'll be back then we will go out..

Nandini: that sound good but stress yourself..

Manik : I won't promise..

They broke hug and Manik pecked her forehead..

Manik : I'm leaving my bag with you. Is that okay..

Nandini: more than okay.. wait a minute you not going malthora mansion to change..

Manik : I'm thinking to chuck it as it will take time so why not go like this.. I don't look bad in business clothes.. do I?

Manik : I should leave before I get call from baby.

Nandini: nothing mani.. it feels like something is going to happen.. please take care of yourself..

Nandini hugged him only and kept her head in near his chest and tightened her hold around his waist.. Manik did feel that but didn't say anything..

Manik: Jaan should I go..

Nandini: I don't want to let you go.. I'm not feeling letting you go away from me.. it feels something is going very far away from me ... I don't know mani why am I feeling like this..

Manik breaking the hug and cupped her face again and looks at her..

Manik : nothing is going to happen... no one can harm me... hmm. Everything will be right.. you believe me right.. nothing will happen to me..

Nandini bobbed her head.. Manik kissed her forehead and muttered.

Nandini : l love you too mani..

Manik then left Nandini's cabin as he was getting late but Nandini immediately sat on her chair and prayed to her ayiappa for Manik safety.

While other side in MAAN music company everyone arrived and was sitting in conference room and waiting for their boss to come which is Manik Malhotra....

Avni was talking to Jonny when dhruv interrupted her.. avni giving smile to Jonny turned and saw dhruv behind her..

Avni : excuse me Jonny..

Jonny : sure ma'am!

Avni turns to dhruv and looks at him..

Avni : yes mr vedant...

Dhruv : hey Avni.. please don't call mr vedant.. call me by my name dhruv..

Avni : sorry but this work place.. mr vedant.. do you need anything..

Dhruv : I was wondering when will owner of this company come.. I mean how long will it take?

Avni : mr vedant do you mind if I ask you question?

Avni : I'm sorry to ask but are you in hurry to go somewhere.. I mean it has only been hour since we all have arrived. Others don't have complain about my boss coming late then why you have.. and my boss isn't free.. he is business man... he is in meeting.. he would be coming on his way.. please be seated quietly and wait for him to come..

Avni looks at Dhruv whose expression from happy changed to anger look but cared less.. avni excused herself and move out of conference room..

While Dhruv was angry hearing her..

Dhruv ( mind) how dare she talk to me like this? Doesn't she know who am I... I'll reach her lesson.. she only works in this company and think herself as boss of this company..

Dhruv was thinking how to teach lesson to avni unaware of who she was..

While other side avni coming out conference room moves to her cabin and called Manik....

Manik was driving and saw avni calling.. he connected her call to Bluetooth..

Manik : yes baby..

Avni : hey Bhai where are you?

Manik : I'm on way baby. It will take some time to reach.. while why you can explain them the rules and expectations of mine and MAAN company.. sorry baby being late..

Avni : Bhai really sorry.. I'm not going to talk to you.. drive safely to here. I don't get scold by dear Nandini..

Avni ends call and took some papers which needed which Manik gave her when she visited him in office.. she came back in conference room.. she saw everyone busy in their phone or either talking to each other.. then her eyes travelled to fab 4 who wasn't even talking or doing anything but staring around.. she found their behaviour strange but chucked it...

Avni : excuse me everyone... can I have you all attention for few seconds.... there are some papers which you all need to sign individual.. this is not include team discussion or opinions.. so please sign them and leave it on table..

She gave them forms out while everyone individual took one and starts filling the form in.. As they filled avni explained them about the form..

Avni : this form say you can't back out from competition for reason.. and as you read more down there is some rules you need to follow while you here.. hope this is clear to you..

Others looks at her and nods..

Person 1: ma'am when will sir come?

Avni : he would be any moment..

The person nods and continued filling the form in.. as they were filling the form out side of MAAN Manik parked his car... after parking his car Manik comes out and nods his head seeing the security which was standing outside of MAAN studio..

Manik walks and took his phone out and dropped Nandini reaching safely to MAAN studio.. he kept his phone back in his pocket and walked straight conference room as avni has informed him to come there straight..

Manik smilingly walks to conference room but who knew this smile will be vanished soon as he enters inside the room...

Manik held the door knob and twisted to open it.. as he opened he got inside and saw avni helping bands filling the form.. no one did notice him coming expect Jonny who saw Manik..

Before Jonny could get Manik's attention as Manik showed him his hand.. he then moved back out of the room as his phone rang.. he took his phone out and saw raj calling him.. he frowned thinking why raj is calling him but nevertheless he picks it up.

Manik : yes dad..

Raj : Manik where are you?

Manik : dad I'm at studio. Sorry I forgot to tell that I wasn't going to come home after office.

Raj : it's fine.. I was worried for you as you said you will be home by this time then go studio..

Manik : sorry dad..

Raj : it's okay.. bye. You do your work.

Manik : bye dad.

Manik ends call and went back inside the room only go get shocked of his life.. never in his dream he thought to see them back again after that day.. his eyes become teary not seeing them but remembering their insult to his love... his Jaan.. his Nandini... all of their harsh words rang into his ears.. he closed his eyes to control his tears from not crying..

As he closed his eyes avni noticed him.. she moved to him and tapped his shoulder lightly.. Manik feeling a touch jerky opens his eye and saw avni.. his teary eyes met Avni's.. avni was concerned seeing him like this... before avni could say anything Manik rushed out of the room..

No one noticed as they were busy filling the paper work which was given by avni.. avni not knowing what's wrong with Manik's behaviour.... she ran behind Manik and saw him going into his cabin..

Avni rushed to his cabin and opens his cabin to see him only sitting on his chair with his head down..

Avni slowly walks to him..

Avni: Bhai..

Hearing Avni's voice Manik took deep breath and immediately looks at her..

Avni : Bhai why you left like that? Did I something wrong... I am sorry...

She wasn't aware of his pain.. Manik stood and moved to avni.. he pulled her in hug... avni got startled but hugged him back... she could hear his sobs.. she also heard him mumbling...

Manik : why.... did... they come back... why... why.. Baby... baby why... they.... are .... here....

Avni forcefully broke hug and looks at him... she cupped his face..

Avni : Bhai I don't know why you saying all this.... Bhai please tell me...

Manik didn't have any courage telling anyone his past.. he never wanted to remember that day.... Manik was staring avni like lost child.. this time he wanted to crash in his Jaan arms.. he wanted to cry in her arms but she wasn't here for him...

Avni : Bhai... Bhai...

She shook Manik who was losing his conscious... avni immediately held him by holding his shoulder.. avni with difficult dragged Manik to couch and made him lay down.. she quickly brought water and sprinkled on his face.. Manik immediately jerked himself and sat on couch shouting Nandini's name..

Manik seeing avni remembered how he saw fab 4 in conference room...

Manik ( mind) no I can't fall weak seeing them... I can't scare baby.. she doesn't know about them.. I have to face them.. I have to.. this time I'm not same Manik Malhotra who was foolish believing in them.. for my family I have to be strong.. Manik you can do it..

Manik closed his eyes and took deep breath again... avni was silent watching him in tears... though she doesn't know what actually happened but seeing him like this she her heart breaking... she couldn't see him like this.. he was brother to her...

Manik opened his eyes and saw avni sacred and worried.. he smiled lightly and cupped her face slowly..

Avni just crashed in his and starts hitting him lightly... his life is brightened by his family which is his dad, his Jaan, his Baby sister, his Neela maa Ashish papa, his Jaan family and his buddy abhi.. he doesn't need anyone when they are here for him.. he can even die for them but can't see them in tears.... Manik was blessed to have them in his life..

Manik caressed Avni's hair and called her name softy..

At the same time they all heard someone clearing throat.. everyone immediately saw Manik standing there with smirk but four people were shocked seeing him there... they eyes were popped out.. they couldn't believe if this was dream or reality.. in four pair of eyes two pair of eyes were in tears seeing Manik after two years.. they were none than mukti and cabir..

Before they could get to Manik. Manik himself called Jonny and told him to leave.. Jonny left and Manik looked at avni who was standing at door.. he gestured her to come near him.. he secretly held Avni's hand.. avni saw smiled and tightened the hold..

Cabir and mukti saw all this and felt hurt as Manik didn't notice them. Where Dhrualya was giving anger glare to them...

Avni too blinked her eyes at Manik who gave small smile in return.. avni turned to everyone and smiled.

Avni : this is Manik malthora sir .. the owner of MAAN music studio.. you all be working under Manik and his team which you all meet very soon... before I let Manik sir to speak to you all.. I hope you all have completed all the paper work..

Everyone nods expect four people who was still shocked hearing Manik Malhotra was their boss and they would be working under him.. but more than that Dhruv was feeling jealous seeing Manik success higher than him. Other three members of fab 4 were shocked hearing Manik success.. this company has really reached highly in very less time.. over world too.. two of them was proud of Manik..

Avni : now I would like Manik sir to introduce himself.. few of you have heard his name but still he will give you introduction..

Manik smiled at his baby... he looks straight and turned his face straight to which he didn't had to see their face which makes him suffocate..

Manik : thank you miss avni.. first of you all I Manik malthora welcome you all to our studio.. it will be our pleasure to work with you all.. and our team will be looking forward to work with you all.. now coming to few point which I want to make clear.. before I came here you all filled form which I assumed you have read it.. hope you understood what my and my team expects from you all.. you must be wondering where is my team then let me inform you they will he introduce to you all tomorrow.. and I'm going to inform you all few of my own expectations which I expect everyone to follow who works under me or my team.. 1st rule never be late as I hate late comers.. 2nd you should work effectively which means no disturbance or fixing your personally with professional life. 3rd you should respect each member of your team and my team too.. I don't tolerate behaviour issue.. it's not my job to deal your behaviour problem or any issue you face in team or with other team member.. 4th you should complete your task which will given by me or my team member.. this will be mostly in workshop. And lastly I and my team would really appreciate if you all work as team instead of fighting.. there is no comparison between you or other team seeing who is better. You all have talent which you can show instead of comparing to each other.. if there is any problem myself and my team member will help you out.. and I'm coming to workshop. Workshop will be held in weekend as in Saturday and Sunday at 9am till 4pm.. there will be break and lunch provided to you... if you have any questions regarding workshop or whole competition then be free to ask..

As Manik completed few of them did ask questions which Manik calmly replied as avni was with him all the time.... she didn't let his hand off.. she knew something happened in this room which made Manik cry today...

Mukti first of all she was liking how close Avni was to Manik.. she was feeling Jealous seeing her hugging Manik..

Cabir was feeling sad as his friend didn't knowledge him.. he was happy seeing Manik back..

Dhrualya was getting angry for no reason.. they were just jealous seeing Manik's success..

Avni broke hug and smiled looking at Manik.. Manik kissed her forehead making fab 4 gasp. Manik and avni heard gasp and looked at them.. avni frowned still seeing them here.. while Manik choose to ignore them..

Avni : you guys still here! I thought you left..

Both headed out of the studio.. Manik kissed Avni's forehead..

Manik : drive safely and drop me message as you reach home.. good night baby.

Avni : good night Bhai.. and go straight home.. hmm!

Avni sat in her car and drove away.. while driving she weaved back to Manik who waved back.. Manik stood there near leaning to hiss car and closed his eyes.. tear escaped from his eyes...

Manik : why.. why you had to come back? Why?

He questioned himself but didn't had any answer. Manik sat in his car... he took his phone and turned his phone on silent.. he puts seatbelt on and drove away where he could he peace... tears was flowing but today he didn't wanted to wipe them.. he wanted to cry his heart out.

While in malthora mansion..

Nandini was back home hour ago. She was taking her shower when her phone rang.. her phone kept ringing but soon got disconnected.

Nandini after having shower comes out in bathrobe to hear again her phone ringing. She was moves to bed side and picks her phone up. She saw avni calling..

Nandini: hello avni!

Avni : hey Nandini.. did Bhai reached home?

Nandini: no he didn't.. wasn't he with you?

Avni : he was.. I think it will be better if Bhai tells you... I'm trying to call him but he isn't picking up call..he left for home.. so I was wondering if he still on way or reached home..

Nandini hearing Avni's voice felt something did happen....she was worried for Manik.

Nandini: avni what happened? Did something happen in studio..

Avni : Nandini I'm sorry but I really can't tell you. It would be better if Bhai tell you.. once Bhai comes home then drop me message please....

Nandini: hmm! I'll message once mani comes home.. bye..

Avni : bye Nandini..

Nandini ending the call but her mind was stuck on Avni's words.. she was getting worried for Manik.. Nandini immediately kept her phone on table and rushed to cupboard.. she took a pair of dress and wore.. she rushed down.. she saw Murthy's and raj sitting in hall..

She had to ask raj if he knows anything.. She moves to him and calls his name..

Nandini: dad..

Raj hearing Nandini turns to her and looks at her...he got startled seeing her in tears.. raj immediately got up and pulled her in hug..

Raj : princess why you crying?

Nandini hugged him and sobbed in his arms.. she only muttered Manik's name making raj worried too... Amms stood up and caressed Nandini's hair.. Nandini broke hug and hugged amms tightly while raj took his phone and called police to track Manik's number..

Raj looks at Nandini who was crying hugging amms and Shannoo was caressing her hair..

Raj : princess I'll find your Manik.. amms take care of princess.. I'm coming back..

Raj was going to leave when Venkatesh called him from back..

Venkatesh: raj Bhai I'll come with you..

Raj nods.. both of them left leaving ladies in worry Manik.. rishab was sleeping so he wasn't aware of all this..

Raj and Venkatesh on empty road searched for Manik... they were searching for him when raj got call from officer..

Raj immediately told Venkatesh to take the call and keep it on speaker.. Venkatesh picks the call and puts on speaker..

Raj : hello officer..

Officer : mr malthora I have located Manik malthora care.. I'm sending you his location..

Raj : please send it quick..

Soon raj and Venkatesh reached where Manik's location was found.. both got out of the car and walks to see officer there too.. they saw Manik's car but Manik wasn't there.. fear engulfed over raj mind..

Raj : officer where is Manik? Did you find him?

Officer : mr malthora calm down... we found Manik but he .....

Raj : what happened to my son? Where is he?

Officer: he was unconscious here... we have to take him hospital immediately...

Raj : no.. hospital.. I have to take him malthora.. our doctor will check him.. where is he now?

Officer : he is our in our car.. come..

Raj followed officer and saw Manik laying on backseat.. his eyes teared up seeing Manik like this.. he never saw Manik like this expect that day..

Raj : we will take him with us..

Officer nods.. few officer helped raj and Venkatesh taking Manik body out from officer car... raj carefully made Manik lay on backseat on his car.. raj looks at officer..

Raj : thank you officer and sorry for losing my patient at you..

Officer smiled..

Officer : it's okay mr malthora.. you was concerned for your son.. take care of him..

Raj nods.. raj and Venkatesh sat in car and drove to malthora mansion.. on the way Venkatesh called Malthora doctor to come immediately to malthora mansion...

While at malthora mansion Nandini was still clinging to amms and crying.. she stopped crying as she heard Shannoo saying Manik's name.. she immediately snapped her head to door and saw raj and Venkatesh carrying Manik on their shoulder.. Nandini got shocked seeing Manik like this.. she rushed to them and tried touching Manik's face..

Nandini: mani...

Raj : princess take me take him to his room..

Nandini nods and let them take Manik to their room..

At manan room.. doctor was checking Manik.. Nandini was sitting beside Manik holding his hand.. raj and Murthy's was there too.. all were worried for Manik..

Doctor after checking Manik looks at Nandini then raj...

Doctor : raj when was last time Manik had panic attack?

Nandini shockingly looks at doctor so does everyone.. everyone in the room is aware of Manik's panic attack.. he gets panic attack since childhood..

Raj : doct... or.. what... you saying.. panic.. attack.. how... is possible?

Doctor : raj.. panic attacks occur for many reasons... did something happened...

Raj : we don't know doctor....

Doctor : was anyone with him?

Raj : no...

Doctor didn't understand why Manik had sudden panic attack but one soul was numb hearing her mani got panic attack and she wasn't with him when he needed her...

Doctor : nothing is serious... something has happened which occurred Manik having panic attack.. nothing to worry.. let him rest.. if he doesn't get his conscious before tomorrow morning then I have shift him to hospital..

Raj: thank you doctor.. come I'll drop you till door..

Doctor : don't worry.. I'll go myself.. Nandini needs you more here..

He said looking at Nandini who was still numb.. she didn't react to anything.. raj nods while Venkatesh offered to drop doctor...

Raj looks at Nandini then amms...

Raj : amms.. Shannoo you both should and sleep.. I'll handle Nandini...

Amms : but raj..

Raj : amms please go sleep.. it's not good for health staying up till late..

Amms nods wished him good night.. even Shannoo followed Amms..

Raj looks at Nandini then moved to close the door...

He came back and sat on bed and called Nandini name but Nandini didn't move or response to him.. raj knew where this was heading.. he again called her name...

Raj : princess... princess.. look at me.....

She wasn't responded him.. he kept his hand on her shoulder... she immediately looks at him... she stared him before crashing into his eyes...

Raj could hear her whisper...

Nandini: d... ad... h.. e.. will.. be co...nscious ....

Raj : princess be strong.. nothing will happen to Manik... he will get his conscious back very soon....

Nandini: h... e.. won't... take till... morning like.... last time...

Raj closed his eyes not wanting to hear that day.... he never wanted to remember that day... raj opens his eyes hearing Nandini whisper...

Raj : princess... he won't.... he will get his conscious back... he loves you... he won't leave you... princess be strong...

Raj how could he console her when he himself was worried for Manik... raj looks at Nandini...

Raj : princess sleep....

Raj made sleep with very difficult... as Nandini closed her eyes.. raj kissed her forehead then Manik... he covered them and left the room...

As he felt the room Nandini immediately opens her eyes and looks at with teary eyes...

Nandini: mani.... please wake up... if you don't wake up then... I won't talk to you.... you can't sleep too much... mani...

She was trying to wake him up but he wasn't responding to her... Nandini burst in tears.... she came over him and starts crying.. she didn't cared about him being unconscious.. she wants to cry hugging him..

She cried hugging him tightly... her cry didn't stopped nor she wanted to stop crying ...

Around 2 am Manik was getting his conscious back.. he tried opening his eyes but he shut them back... he tried few times.. at last he opens his eyes and felt his whole body hurting.... he looks around and found himself in his room... he didn't understood how he landed in his room... he clearly remembers after avni leaving studio... he drove to place where he could get peace...

Manik stopped looking around the room as he felt some movements on him... he tried lifting his hand but couldn't... he looks down himself and saw Nandini sleeping or should say laying on him and crying... he could hear her sobs lightly...

He called her name softy yet in weak voice...

Manik : ja....aa.. n...

Nandini heard him but she didn't look at him.. if she looks at him then she will cry again... she tightened her grip around his body..

Manik : na...Nandi....ni... Ja... aan... i... am... fine..

He saw her lifting her head up slowly...as she looks at him.. his heart broke seeing her saw broken.. he again made her cry.. he again broke her heart.. he again broke his promise.. their promise... he broke it... he broke it...

His hand reached to her...

Nandini: ma..... ni.... mani.... ..

Manik : s.... Jaan..... sleep...

Nandini not said word but stared his face.. she was still scared for him... her mind was filled with two years back memories..... her mind was killing her soul... she didn't realise when her fingers moves to his face... she traced his face slowly.. teardrops fell on his cheek...

Manik : ja.....an... jaan... I'm fine.....

He was shut by slap on his cheek.... he looks at her like child...

Nandini: don't... say.. a word... not word...

She then caressed his cheek where she slapped him... she then laid back on him and whispered which he clearly could hear it...

Nandini: I hate.... you.... you... scared me.... you... I hate you... I won't... talk to you... watch...

Manik smiled at her lightly.. he didn't want to remember what happened today.. but live his moment this girl who is his heart beat.. she is everything for him.

First of all I'm very sorry making you all wait.. this update was to be published on Saturday but I delayed as i wasn't satisfied what I wrote that day....

You May be angry with me.. which is justified.. I won't say anything....

Ps : I have no intend to make fab 4 into positive character. .. there some of you who want see mukti or Cabir changing which they will do but fab 5 won't be untied again... I won't say much about cabir or mukti character here as it will reveal in future chapters.. hope this clear to you..
