Your POV:
I wake up on the rusty old bed, ever since my mom, my dad, and twin brother died 4 years ago to an assassin i left that city, never again did i want to stay in that city i then gathered my things and left to another city.

Life was tough when i was an 8 year old girl but now im 12 and i feel like im ready to take the hunter exams!
I knew what my goal in life was. To take revenge!

I pack my things, Clothes, Weapons, Food, Water, and all my money. Although i didnt have much money...i could barelys manage to take care of myself.

' I hope this is enough' i think to myself. 'Mom,Dad, Nao...Brother...can you see me? can you see how much pain im feeling without you guys? Without my mom's care to make me a better woman, without my dad's humor and courage so i can grow up to be brave, without my brother Nao by my side, i can no longer grow up by his side...and he can no longer grow up by mines'

i feel something wet go down my cheek. "Im....Crying..." i whisper. I wipe away the tears. 'i need to be brave! I need to be independent! I need to be a better person! All these thoughts are going through my head as i make my way to the ship. As i go on i see many "macho" guys looking my way whispering about me until one decides to speak up.

"Hey little girl!" A man with a long brown beard and a bald head spoke to me. "This is the hunter exams! So get lost"

"I know" was my only reply

"Look little girl..." he crouches down to my level. "This is very dangerous so you should go back home to your mommy"

i glare at him and whispered in his ear "My family is dead do you want to have the same fate?" He looks at me in disbelief he got the message and backed off. 'loser...he should know better than to judge, i wasn't actually going to kill him...it was all a bluff'

Gon's POV:
"Bye Mitto-San!" i yell as i wave. I turn around and decided to explore but something caught my eye. I walk over to this girl who seems about my age.

"Hi! Im Gon! Gon Freeces!" I held out my hand to the girl. She hesitated before accepting to shake my hand.

"(y/n) (l/n)"

"Can i sit here?" I asked her she nodded and we starting to talk about stuff. Although she didnt want to talk about herself.

"C-can we be friends?" she asked out of the blue.

"Of course we can!" i said smiling at her.

(y/n) POV:
"C-Can we be friends?" i asked randomly as i stuttered

Dammit (y/n)! he is going to think your weird now...although i could use a friend these past 4 years have been lonely...

"Of course we can!" Gon said smiling at me.
