In the hallways I feel like a sardine in a can. People passing by with their friends laughing and talking about their previous classes.

Taking my phone out of my back pocket and check my newsfeed. Nothing is there but a message from my Dad.

"I'm sorry about last night and this morning."

As I shut off my phone and roll my eyes. Putting my phone back into my pocket.

"Hey! Stop pulling my shirt. Man, you know I hate it when you do that." Garrette says with his eyebrows narrowing together.

Trying to avoid him. I feel embarrassed that I don't have anyone to sit at lunch with other then me, myself, and I.

I don't feel like getting into a huge lunch line. So I skip lunch for the day.

"Hey Nikki!" Coming from a girl in one of my classes. Shes really nice to me.

She was wearing grey joggers with a plain black v-neck shirt. And a heart best friend necklace. She had both parts of them.

"Hey!" I smile.

"Your in one of my classes. Which one is it again?" The girl questions me.

"I have no idea. I guess we will find out tomorrow." Giving her a nice smile back.

"Yeah, I guess so. How is your first day of school so far?" The girl.

I let out a big sigh while shaking my head. "It's funny that this is exactly how I pictured it to be. My morning went well." Smirking.

"Who is it?" Scaring me as she jumps towards my face, closing the space we have between us.

"Garrette." Giving a nice smile.

"You mean the football - basketball dude?"

" Yes. He did mentioned that he plays football. He's really cute. And he's my neighbor." Looking at the girl.

She was cheesing so hard. "You should get to know him more. Alot of girls like him since he's the captain for our football team. He isn't into relationships. But he previously brought a girl to the movies."

At least that's something..

"All of this is really nice. Laughing out loud. I'll see him sometime later maybe. Since we live by each other. I didn't catch your name by the way?"

" Oh I'm sure you'll see him. She's smiling. I'm Loren. And you?" Shaking my hand and still smiling.

"I'm Nikki." The bell rang.

"That's the warning bell. We don't have to go to our next class 20 minutes til. Well I gotta run. I need to get my schedule back from my friend. It's nice meeting you Nikki. See you later. Bye."

"Bye Loren! It was nice meeting you." Waving to her as she's walking away.

This girl is really nice. But I'm still wondering about her necklace. Wondering why she has both pieces.

"Have a good day Nikki" Joe says as he opens up the bus door.

"I'll try. But thanks any way Joe." Smiling back at him as I get off the bus.

Wow first day of school wasn't that bad. Way to go Nikki! You made new friends! Well..2. And that boy, Garrette. He's one pile of cuteness.

I'm already half way home. At least I think I am.

" Hey!"

It was Garrette! I didn't even hear him at first. My thoughts were all over the place. He was running towards me. Oh wow...he's running towards me and he's smiling.

"Hey you!" I'm surprised that you are still talking to me.

I'm smiling ear to ear right now.

"I haven't even met you yet, your majesty." Saying out of breath as he caught up to me. He's smirking.

He's so sweet.

"Why do you call me that?". I'm smiling ear to ear.

"Did I or did I not lead you into our school holding your hand? And also brought you to the office?" He's smirks and looks into my eyes as he pulls me to a stop.

" You did." Giving out a laugh. "But I don't see why you want to get to know me."

"Nikki, you can't just say that. Everyone wants to get to know a person."

I was almost to my house. I recognize the huge tree in front of it.

Is this guy trying to get some where with me?

" Okay, when do you want to get to know me?" Pulling my hair back behind my ear. Smiling.

"Meet me at the bus stop at 5. I have something to tell you. Also don't be surprised." Garrette gives me a half smile.

this guy is asking me to our first date? Yeah, I don't think so. Not even when our first date is at a bus stop.

I'm in front of my house now.

"5 o'clock it is then, Garrette. Garrette... what's your last name." Questioning him as he pulls out his phone. Opening it to his contacts.

"That would be classified information. We will continue this at 5. Phone number please?" Handing me his phone.

Dialing my phone number in his phone. Putting my name. Then adding a photo. I fix my hair and then smile. It was a nice picture.

"Thanks." He laughs.

"No problemo." Letting the o echo. I can't believe this is happening right now.

"5?" As Garrette starts to walk away.

I'm smiling. "5."

I open my door to my room and throw my bag on the floor, jumping onto my bed face first.

My dad is not home. I'm not even surprised that he's not here. He's probably meeting my mom somewhere. They always meet each other for a "meeting" all the time.

I don't think they do it for me though.

Changing out of my close and turning on my TV. Super Natural is playing.

God, why are the Winchester brothers so hot? Questioning myself. Sam and Dean. Sami is so cute. But Dean is the hot looking one. I really can't choo-

My phone goes off.

I pick up my phone. It has an anonymous number. "Hello your majesty."

Oh look at that, who else would that be. Being Sarcastic. I'm cheesing so hard.

Adding him to my contacts. Garrette with a blue heart.

"Hi Garrette."

My phone goes off. Garrette is calling me.

"Hello?"

"Meet me at the bus stop in 4 minufes." He says.

"I'm not even dressed." I laugh.

"Meet me there in 10 then. You should be fashionably late." I can tell he's smirking.

"Okay. Meet you in 10." I hung up the phone and began to get ready.

My dad is still isn't home and it's 4:55. I left a note for him that I'll be gone for a little while.

Garrette is leaning against the bus stop wall. On his phone. He looks at me and starts walking. He's wearing a Red buttoned up shirt, skinny jean khakis, and grey vans.

"I told you that you'd show up fashionably late. Your really pretty." He raised an eyebrow.

I was wearing a pink dress with white flats. Around the time I got home the sun had came out. It immediately became hot. That's why I wore a dress. Also because I wanted to look nice for Garrette.

"Why thank you. Your such a gentlemen."

" A gentlemen with class." He holds the collars with the tips of his fingers and spins. He smiles so big after he stops.

" Oh wow look at you. Your a basketball player, football player, and a ballerina too? I teased.

He spins again. Except with his arms above his head with his fingers touching. "Aren't I a terrible dancer?"

"No. Your a great dancer!" I say in a sarcastic voice. We couldn't help but laugh.

" I'll work on it." Laughing. "But for now we need to go to the park and have dinner." As he grabs me hand and leads me across the road to the park.

"The park??" I questioned.

"Yeah. You didn't expect us to have dinner at a bus stop. Right?" He chuckles.

"I didn't even know that we were having dinner." My face shows an surprised expression. "What's for dinner?"

"Sandwiches. That's the only thing I could think of bringing. I would invite you over to my house but I don't even know you."

At least this guy has his smarts. I was shocked that he said that.

"Well this will be an interesting conversation."
