"What do you mean you are into this?" asked Yuvraj perplexed; he told Rudra everything about Annika drugging Shivaay hoping he won't agree with something like this but Rudra was on another tangent all together.

"I mean I am the one who provided Annie with the drug. I want to see my brother and sister in law together can't you get it? I want them together at any cost" said Rudra, holding his urge to smack Yuvraj's face then and there "Now if you tried once again to spoil our plan I assure you I have my eyes on you and I won't tolerate it."

"Rudra he is your brother. How could you do something like that to him?"

"And she is my best friend. My sister in law. I am not letting them break apart" replied Rudra "Not now not ever."

He then looked at Shivaay who had the last sip pf his drink "Look he drank it. Now considering your morals are knocking way more than required, I will take him to the third floor. Don't try to tell this to anyone Yuvraj. Abhi bhai, Aman Bhai even Gauri dii know the plan."

Rudra than moved toward Shivaay leaving behind an exasperated Yuvraj who couldn't believe the people out here. What was wrong with everyone? What kind of obsession do they have to keep Shivaay and Annika together that they could do anything for it?

His eyes fell on Tripti, at least she could do something. He walked up to her "Excuse me" Tripti turned toward him forcing a smile, this was the man because of whom she has to pretend as the girlfriend of another man and show her wife as her friend. She had to freaking cancel her date with her wife because of him!

"Yes" she replied, fisting her hand as not to strangle this man then and there. Before Yuvraj could say a word Natasha interrupted them "Tripti, your friend Angela was searching for you."

"Oh-Thanks. I'll see you later young man" Tripti excused herself and Natasha turned toward Yuvraj, she was really upset over him with the whole ordeal. She always knew he had feelings for Annika but she shrugged it off thinking it to be an innocent crush like she had on Shivaay but the man was obsessed "What do you think you are doing?"

"I need to talk to her Nuts" Yuvraj tried to walk away but Natasha held his arm "and tell her about the plan? No!"

"You know about the plan?" asked Yuvraj, his eyes widen. Even Natasha agreed to this wicked plan.

Yes! After almost getting my brain roasted with confusion!

Natasha internally yelled, her brain went haywire with all the confusion until Abhimanyu cleared it. She is so not goanna leave Annika and Rudra for this. But first she needs to play her part "Yes I know about the plan. Rudra told me and I am not letting you spoil this. Annika is our best friend Yuvi and she loves Shivaay. Don't you want her to be happy?"

Of course I want her to be happy! She will be happy with me! I will make her happy!

Yuvraj controlled his urge to shout this; everything was getting out of his control. Even his own friends were in this plan. Leave his friends even the girl for whom he did all this was behaving so out of character.

"I want her to be happy but you know what she is doing is wrong-------"trailed off Yuvraj and Natasha controlled her urge to roll her eyes at his ironical statement "Nothing is wrong Yuvi. Don't worry. I have seen Shivaay, he does love Annika. There is some sort of misunderstanding somewhere. Once this plan gets successful Shivaay would have to eventually marry Annika and then no one can separate them."

Yuvraj looked at her weirdly for a second but then eventually realized that Natasha doesn't know that Shivaay and Annika are already married. She just thinks that they love each other. This is messed up!

"Anyway he is already on third floor along with Annika so just shut your morals out and chill" added Natasha and that's when realization commenced Yuvraj. He rushed toward the third floor ignoring everyone's call from behind. He needed to stop her somehow.

Meanwhile on the third floor Rudra messed up Shivaay's shirt and hairs while Gauri did his makeup to make him looked slightly drugged considering the drink didn't have anything other than powdered sugar. Shivaay was frowning at both of them like anything "Rudra my hairs can be messed up by my wife also."

He looked at Annika who was looking at him with her innocent eyes, messing up her own look as ordered by Rudra. Her slightly ruffled up hair and dress along with her innocent shy eyes made her look so seductive to Shivaay that he dearly wished these two morons to leave him alone.

"I can't take any more risk. So this time I am not letting you get any more physical with my best friend. Pata chala we asked only for trailer and you started showing the entire film" chided Rudra to which Gauri chuckled putting up a red shade near Shivaay's neck.

"Stop laughing over me Gauri otherwise I will fire you" warned Shivaay but it didn't affect Gauri at all instead she started laughing openly "No you won't."

Nobody is scared of him man!

"So Bhaiya remember Annika will hold you close kiss you on your neck, you will try to show some resistance but considering you are drugged. You will take control. Rest I know you can decide by yourself but please don't let your hormones take full control please. You have viewers. Anyway knowing Yuvi he will barge in seeing Annika close to you itself. When he will push you away from her just pretend to faint"

"But this isn't how this drug affect me" said Shivaay remembering the time when Mallika actually drugged him "I turn violent and raging. Last time I had a heart attack."

Annika winched remembering this while Rudra shook his head, rolling his eyes "and what makes you think Yuvraj would know this? Neither is he your wife nor a drug expert. He is a business student."

"By student I remember Annie we need to go college tomorrow. It's my final match and you need to cheer me up. Also we would be distributed our annual research practical project tomorrow." Reminded Rudra and that's when Annika remembered that amid all this drama she had been way too ignorant over her studies.

"Seriously? This is the time you are reminding her of studies?" asked Shivaay, rolling his eyes to which Rudra snapped "Unlike you who have nothing to do we have college and our internship to look after.

"I have nothing to do? Let me remind you I am the Chairman of Oberoi Empire"

Shivaay said, face full of disbelief but suddenly screeched as he felt Gauri pinching him harshly using her long nails on his neck "What the hell are you doing Gauri?"

"I was thinking of making a slight realistic hickey but it didn't work. I guess I have to do with make-up only" replied Gauri but made him shriek again as she pinched on that place once again.

Can someone remind this girl that he is her boss!

"Or you can just let me have a moment with my wife and she could give me a real one?" suggested Shivaay with a raised eyebrow, Annika looked down blushing and both Gauri and Rudra gave him a gone case look.

"Yes Okay Agent Rajjo" replied Rudra over the Bluetooth and Gauri chuckled imagining the annoyance on Om's face listening this.

"So Bhaiya, Annie be ready. He is coming" Rudra gave a thumbs up to both of them "Gauri Bhabhi you come with me" he held Gauri's hand dragging her away who missed the Bhabhi in his sentence too busy eye teasing her boss cum brother.

"He ships her with Om?" asked Annika the moment they left. Shivaay pulled her close nuzzling into her neck "Yes from way before. He feels they have a spark. But these two are stuck fighting over Om's gender orientation."

Annika chuckled laying her head on his chest, closing her eyes and listening to his heartbeat "Should we do something?"

"I don't think so. Om understands the whole concept of love better than anyone of us. They are at the banter phase of their relationship I guess. If anyone could capture the chance of a true love and never miss it, it's definitely Om" he replied, placing a kiss on her hairline.

"You understand love too" said Annika to which he smiled, pulling her a little away softly tracing her face through his knuckles while she closed her eyes he whispered "I don't understand love I understand you."

"You know when I first saw your reflection in the mirror that day when we got married. I knew it. I did it from that moment. It wasn't love at first sight or any attraction but with the feel that I am going to marry you came a familiarity like: oh, hey, it's you...........it's going to be you."

Annika smiled with her closed eyes, feeling his touch on her cheeks while he chuckled "It doesn't make sense right?"

"It does" she replied, her fist enclosing his collar as he joined their forehead. She loved these moments they were so tender and soft. Like the last rain drop rolling through the petals of flowers capturing their fragrance over leaves enclosing the rays of budding sunlight.

"WILL YOU BOTH STOP YOUR ANNOYING ROMANCE AND DO WHAT IS PLANNED. HE IS ALMOST ON THE GATE!" Rudra yelled through the Bluetooth making both of them winch.

'And he broke the moment' Annika felt like to kill her best friend at that very moment.

"Oh I so hate him for this" said Shivaay and before Annika could realize the words slipped from her mouth "Me too."

Shivaay raised an eyebrow and her cheeks turned red realizing her words. She looked down and he chuckled kissing on her nose peak "I guess we need to just end it soon wifey." He said before walking up to the door to lock it lightly.

Yuvraj rushed up to third floor checking every room until he reached the room Shivika were, he looked inside through the side window to see Shivaay with barely open eyes trying to hold Annika's hand who was fiddling with his messed up shirt.

"No –no you aren't doing this Annika" he whispered to himself pushing the door which was locked from inside. He tried to push hard but it didn't open. Taking a deep breath he finally managed to break the lock entering inside and pushing Shivaay away from Annika who fell on the bed holding his head.

"What the hell are you doing Yuvi" yelled Annika to which he turned toward her with angry-hurt eyes "What are you doing Annika? This isn't you."

"Come-on Yuvi. Not again. This is between me and my husband why do you even have to interrupt? I love him can't you get that damn fact in your mind" she snapped and he kept looking at her for a second before eventually giving up.

"I am so sorry Annika" Yuvraj held her palm, falling on the floor, tears brimming in his eyes "Please don't do this to yourself. This isn't you. This isn't the Annika I know." he pointed at Shivaay unconscious figure on the bed "He loves you, only you. I did everything. I did it to separate you two. I lied to him, to you and maybe too even myself. I somewhere made myself believe that your feelings for him are out of your gratitude and not love. I just couldn't bear the idea of not having you as my life partner. I--I became selfish I am sorry."

He confessed, he confessed all his crimes. He couldn't see her. Couldn't see her destroying her self-esteem. Destroying herself to get back the person who actually loves only her. He can't let her do wrong. He can't let her overthrow her morals, her self-respect which actually made her the Annika--he loved.

"Finally" he heard a voice and Shivaay stood up from his place, correcting his posture. He came and stood beside Annika wrapping his arm around her "Finally you confessed boy. Better late than never I guess."

Yuvraj looked at both of them confused for a minute when Gauri and Rudra walked inside with Rudra almost dancing with joy "See you all said my plan was stupid but it did work."

"Plans?" whispered Yuvraj and Rudra grinned putting his arm around his shoulder "Yes my friend plan. To start with your plan never worked actually. The confusion got cleared so to make you realize your mistake I made this plan. How annoying obsession feels doesn't it?"

Yuvraj stayed silent for a minute than looked at Annika with angry-red eyes. Feeling cheated "You played me again didn't you?"

"Yuv----"tried Annika but he interrupted "You played again. You always knew beforehand I had feelings for you Annika but never revealed that you are married hell you didn't even say you loved someone else. Why? Because you had so much fucking gratitude toward this man" pointing at Shivaay "that you couldn't go against his damn words."

Shivaay was going to interrupt but Annika held his hand. Yuvraj was right somewhere she knew and he was hurt. She doesn't want to make his situation more difficult.

"Fine I did wrong. I tried to create misunderstanding between you two. What did you expect me to do? The woman I loved was actually married so I should just forget her? Right? You fucking knew from beginning that I felt for you. Hell everyone in the college felt this. Yet you didn't have the courtesy enough to at least say on my face that I shouldn't feel for you because you are in love with someone else?"

Rudra who had enough pulled him from his collar "No man you don't get to play this victim card. I myself warned you thousand times not to let your feelings grow for Annika. Didn't I? Hell you even felt there was something going on between me and Annie but you still didn't step back. She didn't tell you because she never wanted to hurt your feelings but she always gave you subtle hint that she isn't interested in you. And why the hell should she clear your feelings? Did she show one sign of feeling anything for you? No she didn't! Don't be an asshole to take her yes in her no or her smile as a sign to move ahead."

"And Mr-What-I-was-supposed-to-do-suddenly-knowing-the-girl-I-love-is-married you were supposed to accept that fact. Love her happiness. If needed take a therapy, not go all pyscho and try to ruin someone's relationship. We don't always get what we want Yuvi. Now if a girl tell you on face she is a bitch and rude and if she doesn't she is playing with your feelings? She would have played with your feelings if she would have shown any sign of interest which she didn't. So don't you dare blame my best friend over it did you get it?"

He held his collar in tight fist continuing "and lastly her gratitude? It is because of valid reason and as much as I want her to lose it. You are no special person for whom she would let it go. She has so much gratitude for him because--------"

"-------because he married her when someone else left her for dowry? Nihal?" interrupted Yuvraj, pushing his hand away from his collar "Yes I searched it. I found everything when that day I heard you guys."

He then turned to Annika "If there was someone other than Shivaay sir that day who would have married you, you would have loved him Annika. He was just lucky enough to meet you first" his voice held the very pain of heartbreak.

"What's so special in him? What's there in him that I don't have?" he asked looking into her eyes with an accusing glare, feeling cheated and angry "His love is right and mine is wrong. Why? Just because he is Shivaay Singh Oberoi? Because he was fucking lucky enough to be there on that day to marry you? He is just a freaking opportunist, an opportunist who used a chance to get a girl much younger than him."

Something stirred in Shivaay, listening Yuvraj. Did he really misuse the situation Annika was? He could have dealt the situation in some other way?

A tight slap landed on Yuvraj's face from none other than Annika who looked at him with fire in her eyes, a look that clearly indicated that he broke every last thread of respect, care Annika had for him even as a friend.

"Enough Yuvraj. I listened to you when you accused me. Fine I will accept every blame you put on me and I am sorry for it but I am not going to pay for that mistake by agreeing to your non-seneschal obsessive demands. You doubt my love for him. Fine! Do it! I don't care. I won't even try to prove it to you because the man I need to prove this to, I will prove my entire life" she said her eyes for a minute looking at Shivaay who seemed frozen to his placed.

She looked like a lioness at that moment. It was no dialogue, no preconceived scene, nobody asked her to do this. This was the Annika he always talked about that existed in her but hid whenever he was there. Today it came out for him; he is waiting for the day it will come out with him.

Yuvraj looked shaken for a moment, realization dawning that he just had ruined everything even more. In his own heartbreak and pain he didn't realize what he was speaking "Annika listen to me-----"

"No dude you listen to me now" interrupted Annika, pointing a finger at him.

"Damn Woman" muttered Shivaay, seeing the all badass look of his wife.

Rudra shuffled close to him and whispered "See this is my Annie I was talking about" Shivaay glared him "She is my Annika."

"Your Annika is the shy one, the one who doesn't speak much. This is my Annie, my badass best friend" gave back Rudra to which Shivaay glared him all set to reply back when Gauri snapped both of their head.

"You both can have this battle later on please. Let me watch the climax" said Gauri who was standing between Shivaay and Rudra "I wish I had popcorn."

"Do you have even a bit of sense of Yuvraj?" asked Annika, taking another step toward him "He didn't even knew my age or name when he agreed to marry me. He did that for a girl he had no idea about just because he couldn't see her getting insulted. He left all the dreams he might have had for his future wife, for me. Now you get why I have so much so called gratitude for him?"

Yuvraj looked at her, her each word dawning the sense of realization inside him "and what did you said he was lucky enough to be there? Trust me if you were in his place. You wouldn't have done that. It takes a real man to do it."

"Remember the first day we met Yuvi, you tried to bully me. You teased me for being a villager. You asked me to entertain you. It wasn't until you learned about me, my attitude you actually accepted me as someone even valid enough to be your friend. He had no idea about me, he hadn't seen my behavior, my good or my bad – yet he accepted me as his wife. You see the difference?"

Yuvraj looked down, the memory of their very first meet encircling in his mind. "and coming to the fact what's so special about his love that make it different from yours? There are many reasons and examples. Let me give you the latest one. I am his wife, his woman" she said pointing at Shivaay "He had every right over me. He loves me. He wants me beside him but when he had even a speck of doubt that I am not happy with him, that somehow I want to be with you which is a complete---- bullshit."

She held Shivaay's arm pulling him ahead "He was ready to let me go and you know what he didn't show it, he didn't even try to take any credit of it. He didn't show it. He didn't show it when his father slapped him for cheating me. He didn't show it when his mom showed her disappointment in him. He didn't show it when his whole family who was always proud on him showed how much they are ashamed on him. He could have even easily let me go by blaming me actually, could have said that I cheated on him which would have been more valid considering the great misunderstanding you plotted in his mind. Yet he didn't let a single person blame me. He took the hate of every single person in his family just because he loved me."

She than left his hand and looked at Yuvraj "and you Mr Yuvraj Mathur? You knew I love him. You knew I am married to him. You knew how happy I am with him but just for your own delusional state of love and that you could keep me happy once he leaves me. You created the whole mess. You made me damn cheater who had feelings for someone else despite being married. Can you see the difference?"

She walked up to him, keeping her hand on his shoulder she spoke softly, in a voice that reminded Yuvraj of the friend she was actually to him "This isn't how love works Yuvi. This isn't even how friendship works. I was at fault fine I agree. I am sorry for that but friends don't go on a rage of revenge do we? I love you as friend Yuvraj. You are damn caring, protective. You are a man capable of love and you deserve all the love in the world but this isn't how one acquires love. You think if Shivaay would have left me I would have not loved him? That's not possible. He had given me so much love in each moment with him that entire life without him with just those memories is sufficient. I don't need him in my life I agree but I want him in my life. That's where the difference occurs."

She then stepped away. Her eyes letting out a drop of water, over the loss of one of her closest friend "You broke my heart Yuvi. I was supposed to trust you blindly. You were supposed to be happy for me like Natasha was when she learned that I love Shivaay."

She wiped her eyes while he looked down ashamed, angry on himself for hurting the one woman who loved him as a friend dearly "You know even after all that I never wanted to participate in this plan in first place. I respected your feelings and I didn't want to hurt you. I agreed because I knew you had hurt him the day he came to surprise me" she again held Shivaay, this time looking into his eyes "I can't imagine the pain he had gone through believing whatever you said. How broken he must have been? And I wasn't even there to hold him."

Shivaay eyes got lost in that day remembering the pain he felt when he saw her in someone else's arm when he felt that she loved someone else. That breakdown that almost melted every part of him.

She looked at Yuvraj again "Knowing how good this man actually is? Knowing how heartbreak feels like? How could you let him go through that pain Yuvi? How could you have been so freaking selfish?"

"Annika----"Yuvraj whimpered, tears forming in his eyes but she didn't let him complete "You wanted me to be open about my love for Shivaay right? I never wanted to do this in front of you but I think you need this closure. You need to imprint this in your mind so that you don't do anything stupid like this ever again."

She then turned to Shivaay, her face flushed and much to his confusion she whispered "I am sorry for this."

She then stood on her tip toes, held his collar and right in front of Yuvraj kissed him. Shivaay couldn't figure out his own self at this moment. This was unexpected, not planned. It was not a script. He didn't even demand the kiss. It was her initiation and it was so damn special that he couldn't find himself breathing so as not to disturb this special moment.

Breaking the kiss, she joined their forehead and whispered "I love you and will always love you" he smiled back "I know and I am blessed" he kissed her forehead "I love you too."

She smiled at him before turning back at Yuvraj while Shivaay smiled for a moment than his face fall into a shade of confusion "What was that sorry for?" he muttered to which Rudra replied "For kissing you without your permission. My best friend isn't shameless like you."

Shivaay eyes widened, face full of disbelief "Did she just apologize for kissing me?"

"Bhaiya focus" whispered Rudra from behind him but Shivaay was more perplexed over this scenario. How could she even think she needs to apologize to kiss him? If she thinks this is a mistake than she should keep doing mistakes. Huge ones!

Annika held Yuvraj's palm, a tear slipping her eyes "I wish we could have been friends forever Yuvi. I will miss you" she left the bracelet he gave her as a friendship gift on his palm before leaving the room wiping her eyes.

Shivaay wanted to go after her but Gauri held him back "Give her some time brother. She really did love this man as a friend" whispered Gauri and this made Yuvraj guiltier. He at least should have been loyal to her friendship.

He turned to leave when Rudra interrupted "Oh by the Yuvi I just have a question. How did you know when Bhaiya was coming back and that he planned to surprise Annie? I mean it can't be a coincidence that you initiated your failed plan right then?"

"Rudra" scolded Shivaay, the boy was already heartbroken and knowing his younger brother he was sure Rudra was just indirectly gloating. No matter how much Shivaay hate Yuvraj for what he did. He doesn't wish more pain for him.

"What? This question had me nudging since long" replied Rudra feigning innocence "So Yuvraj how did you planned everything on the same time and day Bhaiya came to surprise Annie, not that your plan worked."

Shivaay rolled his eyes at Rudra's attempt to gloat. He seriously needs to teach his brother some manners and empathy.

"Gauri Mam was talking on the phone that day with Shivaay sir. I overheard it. It was on loudspeaker and he was telling her the entire plan asking her to arrange for a car to pick him up from the airport" replied Yuvraj before moving out.

Shivaay and Rudra both turned toward Gauri who led out a sheepish smile "Opps"

"Gauri" said Shivaay in a grave serious voice "You are fired!'

Gauri frowned "Shut up" she snapped "I am not fired. You are fired. Bade Aaye mujhe fire karne wale" with this she walked out of the room muttering curses, leaving behind a gaping Shivaay.

She really doesn't treat him like a boss!

"Aur Bano Ache. Told you be a typical boss whose arrival also scared their employee but no you had to be My-employees-are-my-family type boss. Now suffer." With this he walked away whistling a tune. Plan was over. He can rest now.

Shivaay shook his head before walking down and catching up with Yuvraj "Hey Yuvraj" Yuvraj stopped in his path as he was just about to open his car door. Shivaay walked up to him and made him look toward him "Hey Man look I really don't appreciate what happened but don't let this ruin your life okay. I might not be the best person to tell you this but still. You have a future ahead. Focus on it. Your parents have hope from you, live for them. Also if you have something as stupid as suicide or drugs in your mind over this entire incident considering how much eagerly you youth give up on life, rinse those thoughts out right now. Your life isn't just yours it belongs to everyone, your family, friends everyone who love you."

Yuvraj looked at him, not believing that even after all this he was still here trying to explain him. Shivaay continued with a soft smile "For a second take me as an older brother and listen to my advice please. Don't stop your college, internship just over what happened. Everyone make mistakes and we learn from that. I know heartbreaks are painful and I might sound unreasonable that everything would pass away because it won't but yes eventually it would heal or at least hurt less. Just one thing when life actually gives you another chance of love, someone who loves you don't let it go just because of this whole affliction. You understand one sided love heartbreak right? Don't let anyone else go through it if you can stop it. Try to love the who love you."

He gave a small thump on his shoulder and turned to leave when he heard him "I lost her even as a friend forever right?"

He chuckled before turning back at him "No you didn't, Annika is too good to hold a life time grudge against someone. Just some efforts, sincere apology and she would be your friend again. Yes the same trust would take time to rebuild but eventually your actions would heal that too. She loves you as the friend she thought you were for her Yuvraj just be that friend and you will have your best friend back. "

He knew in the room right now she would be crying because she thought her words would have hurt Yuvraj deeply. She is just like that. She can't hurt anyone---literally anyone without feeling guilty.

He walked few steps away but then looked back with a frown "Hey by the way I didn't like what you said about her there? She loves me truly and she didn't lead you on man so you aren't allowed to blame her. You can blame me though, I suspected your budding crush, I guess I just didn't take it will turn this serious and I am sorry for that" he then shook his head "Also if you need any help let me know. My one friend went through something similar like you. She had been taking therapy. If you want I will send you her number she can surely help you. Don't take me wrong though."

He turned and walked away and Yuvraj actually realized what separated him from Shivaay. He suspended this man through the pain of heartbreak when he did nothing wrong to him and Shivaay tried his best to make him feel better despite whatever he did to him. It was Shivaay's goodness as a man as a person itself that made him so special.

On the other side Shivaay walked in his room and like he expected she was crying on the bed. Gone was lioness who roared outside. Here was his wife totally untouched by life crying over her friend. Who says heartbreak is only on love? Losing a friend hurt just that much if not more.

Closing the gate he walked to her and silently cocooned her in his arms letting her cry, it was important for her to let those emotions out. What felt like hours she finally spoke in between her hiccups, while hiding her face in his chest "I hurt him so much more. He was already heartbroken and I hurt him more."

He smiled at her chain of thoughts, pulling her close. Letting her speak "I didn't want to hurt him. Even after the entire plan I would have just explained to him politely but then he spoke ill about you and I got angry. I am sorry."

"Shh it's okay. You are allowed to get angry wifey" he rubbed his fingers through her hairs while she sniffed softly. His eyes smiling over the entire scenario, the way she fought for him. The girl who didn't raise her voice in front of him roared like a lioness just for him and he can't wait for the day when she will be like that with him always.

He stood up to leave but she held his hand "Please don't leave" her voice was a whimper. He smiled before lying down beside her again and opened his arms "Come here" she snuggled into him and he kept rubbing her head until her sniffs died down into soft breaths, puffy eyes closed for a dreamless sleep.

He kept gazing at her face for some time, smiling at the goodness she held in her heart. How did he get so lucky as to have her as his wife? Bending a bit he whispered in her ears making her smile even in her sleep.
