Salman's POV

The weather was fine and cool in the morning, it wasn't sunny. The sky was pretty and had a nice shade of blue with pure white clouds. But when it was around 9:00 in the morning the white clouds changed into grey ones and the sky became darker and cloudy which suddenly poured out a heavy rain causing huge water puddles form all over he grounds at school. We hardly heard each other because of the noise of the water droplets falling on the tin roof.

The rain and the puddles stopped us from going out to the grounds to play during the break. We went out to the corridor hoping that we can at least hang out with the girls, but they were nowhere to be seen, their classroom door was closed, so.. maybe they were inside. We didn't proceed to knock on the door and call them for a chat rather we walked back to our class and were just idling out of boredom.

                 The break was over and we were waiting for the next teacher to come. We sat around Omar's desk having a chit chat. The rain had subsided and its been 10 minutes yet the teacher had not come. We've been talking since long and now we ran out of topics to speak about, so we started singing nursery rhymes adding more funny words and phrases to it. Yeah, we were the 10th graders but at times of boredom and craziness we act as kids, just for fun.

Edgar made up a song and sang for us which made us laugh out loud. It was about our math teacher Sir Hamdi and eventually now its our math period and he had not come to class, we thought he was absent because none of us saw him in school today.

He's pleasant and kind but he gets angry very fast and for simple issues, maybe because he is old, looks like he is in his late 70's. He's a thin, tall man and his outfit was the funniest. He tucks his shirt in his trousers and the waist of his trousers reach above his tummy moreover he keeps raising his trousers from the waist time to time. I don't know why, this reminds us of Humpty dumpty and we call him so, but he doesn't know, rather no one knows except the 10 of us.

The song sounded hilarious and we wanted to sing it all together once more. So, we started....

   "Humpty Dumpty came to our class

             Humpty Dumpty had a great brain

                       All the........"

                   Suddenly the door opened and there stood Sir Hamdi which made us shut our mouths and we were dumbstruck. Luckily he hadn't heard us but was furious at the sight that I and Fred were sitting on top of the desks while our legs were on top of it as well and we were drumming, Omar and Kaym were beat boxing climbing on chairs, Harry and Edgar were dancing and the rest of our classmates were revising the lessons or reading a book or so.

"You rascals! OUT...all of you!!"

Sir yelled and drove the six of us out of the class to the corridor yet he didn't finish scolding. We were suppressing our laughter and when Sir turned back and headed towards the class Edgar burst out, kind of softly but Sir heard it, to which Edgar received a slap in return.

Sir continued the lesson in class and we were punished in the corridor the whole period, we enjoyed the punishment while sitting on the balcony, we were in the mood of munching something.

I said "I brought snacks but its inside my bag"

"How can we take it?" Omar stated thinking of an idea.

"I'll give a try" said Kaym and walked towards the door, as we followed him to see what's happening and to help him if he needed.

"Its inside the small zip in the front" I added

"Excuse me Sir"

"Yes?"

"Can I come in please?"

"Why?" He sounded annoyed. I feel sorry for him though, because of his kindness at other times.

"I need to take my math book to study"

We couldn't hold back our laughter, so we went aside. We couldn't hear Sir's reply. Kaym ran back to us laughing and informed that Sir had scolded him.

We settled back on the railings, "I am hungry" grumbled Harry.

"I have a 50 note" said Fred inserting his hands into his pockets in his trouser.

Omar reached out to the money and went to the school canteen and returned back in two minutes with a packet of chips.

Just when I thought about the girls their door opened after which Juliet and Aliza walked out. Unexpectedly Juliet smirked at me but no one noticed as I looked down feeling embarrassed. The girls greeted and inquired as to why we were punished, Omar replied to them to which the both of them smirked. Fred offered the chip pack which was in his hand and girls had a few and went away to wherever they were to go. 

Juliet's POV

We were worn out after a long day and didn't have mood to study. It was the last period and we had math. Sir Hamdi wasn't in a bad mood as the guys had warned us, so we pleaded him to give us a free period since we aren't in a mood to study but he refused. It was unable for us to concentrate. Sir stood and turned towards the white board to write some sums on it. He removed the white board marker's cap and left it on his desk, meanwhile Olivia hyped up and grabbed the marker's cap from the teacher's desk and hid it in the drawer under her desk. Sir was done with the writing and turned to get the marker's cap to recap it, but didn't find the cap, so he panicked

"Where is the cap" and started searching.

We also pretended like we were searching, Olivia couldn't hold back her laugh, she giggled. Already Sir was annoyed because the marker's cap was lost and now her giggle made his anger even more wild. He made her stand at her desk but still she was playful, so he put her out of the class. She was standing at the door.

Again Sir faced the white board to write a new set of sums, meanwhile Olivia crawled into the class and left the marker's cap on the teacher's table to which all of us laughed. This girl! sometimes she acts so stupid.. She's a funny character though..

Sir turned back to see why we were laughing, Olivia hid herself under a desk at the last row, fortunately Sir did not notice her and continued writing. He had a tough time with us today. I feel sorry for him as well, but its fun to make him angry.

He was kind of frustrated and walked out of the class immediately when the bell rang. Usually he doesn't do that, he doesn't even realize that the bell had rung and keeps on teaching or talking to us for more than 10 minutes or so.

                   "Time to go home" said Anna as we packed our bags and went downstairs. On our way we saw Sir Hamdi talking to our Principal about something serious. Olivia got late to come down, so we were waiting for her at the bottom of the staircase, Sir and Principal were a few inches away from us. We could barely hear what they were speaking.

"Seems like Sir is complaining about something" Aliza said

"He said something about his day 'today" I replied

"I hope its not anything about us.. I am afraid about how Olivia acted today" Anna stated.

On time Olivia came and we escaped from there and informed her of what we heard.

"I am scared to come to school tomorrow" said Olivia

Aliza consoled her saying "If you get caught, all of us would get caught Ollii... Don't worry... we are one squad.. let's face tomorrow bravely.."

With that we bid farewell to each other and to the guys as well and went home.
