From Disney's "Moana"
(IN CINEMAS NOW, WATCH IT!!!)

Okay,
I wonder on why some people ship these two....  (- . -)
(sorry if you're one of them)

No offense to any of you who ship them, but tbh I thought that they'd get together in the movie when I kept watching the scene of 'You're Welcome' of Maui
(Dwayne Johnson) but no they didn't have a lovey-dovey kind of connection between each other

Tho,
Somehow their the fourth duo for Disney where a boy meets a girl and the girl convinces to him to help her, and then become good friends at the end. The first (I think) was Ralph and Vanellope, then Rapunzel and Flynn, then again this year Zootopia with Nick and Judy and now Moana with Maui
(comment if i forgot any)

But...
Rapunzel and Flynn/Eugene are a married duo now, (and I ship them FOREVER MORE) and then with Vanellope and Ralph a brother and sister bond or BFFs but to me mostly a sibling bond, with Judy and Nick (DEFINITELY) a couple they somehow remind me of Eugenzel  (Rapunzel and Eugene) and I can't wait to see Zootopia 2 soon! I really want to know If JudNick is CANNON in Zootopia!!!

And then,
Finally with Moana we have the duo 'Maui and Moana' I have to say that I've been a fan of this movie ever since the news of it from D23, and it was FANTASTIC!!!

(SPOILERS COMMIN!!!!)

I can describe Moana a bit similar to Ariel, Rapunzel and Merida but mostly Ariel from 'The Little Mermaid' and with Maui it's Hercules, it's kind of reversed though Moana wanted to explore the ocean instead of land, because her father forbade her from going out to the ocean because he's worried about losing her (because his friend died when they sailed out and in their journey they encountered a storm) and with Ariel she wanted to leave the ocean and explore the lands above, and her father also forbade her to go up to the surface to see us: Humans (because his wife: Queen Athena died in a shipwreck from getting her music box) but he didn't just blame Music, come on there also had to be an anger in him still from that incident, with Maui he was abandoned as a baby from his parents and then the gods took him in and raised him as their own, and with Hercules is: he was raised by Gods and then taken away from them and then two humans raised him and treated him like their own...

DAMN, can't believe I knew all of that.....
Anyways yeah, and also I did see a little bond between them like Ralph and Vanellope and Judy and Nick like scenes there like where Maui has trouble with shape-shifting to the creature that he needs to transform into, and he gives up from trying It kind of reminds me of the scene from Wreck-It Ralph where Maui is like Vanellope and Moana is Ralph and then the part on where Moana helps Maui with shape-shifting kinda reminds me of when Ralph teaches Vanellope on driving a go cart,

And also the scene where Maui tells us his past (y'know the thingy of his parents abandoning him and the gods taking him in) I just felt a Zootopia Judy and Nick reference moment, like that moment when Nick tells Judy of joining a pack and the fact of him being harassed and muzzled to Judy and the reason on why he doesn't let people see that they get to him, I just felt a little brother and sister spark from the two scenes...

And my rating to this ship is:

I HAVE NO FRICK FRACK PATTY NACK, IF I SHIP IT......

Why:
I'll ttbh (try to be honest) their a little cute, but not a couple in my opinion more like a Brother and Sister bond between Maui and Moana and plus Moana is a bit like Elsa that she's independent, strong, stubborn and with pride I like her without a love interest but if I find someone that's the right guy, then

I'LL SHIP IT......
