"En Guarde! As long as you're GREEN you CAN'T ESCAPE! Unless you learn to face danger head-on... You won't last a SECOND against ME!" Undyne yells at Chara as the battle begins.

Chara is scared and confused on why this is happening. She looks and sees darkness all around her. She is in combat and now she can't escape. Even if her heart wasn't green she wouldn't be able to run due to her options of Mercy was gone due to another glitch.

Chara's POV

(the slanted words are her thought)

Dammit, just my luck to fight her of all people. Man, why couldn't it be Frisk? This would have been easier for the both of us. I still don't know how to keep the player under wraps. This could prove to be most annoying. Especially since I can run away now.

I sigh knowing that this will be annoying and it seems she still has some of that Determination from the last reset. Why do I have to fight Undyne know I just kissed Frisk and was feeling quite glad for myself.

Then suddenly Chara was attacked by a spear that hit her body and not her heart.

Dammit, Chara did you learn nothing from all those fights? Always keeps your eyes on your opponent. She scolded herself for being careless.

I looked at Undyne and her spears and realized. That spear never hit my soul so why did I take damage?

Author's POV

During the fight not only were Undyne's spears faster they were strong as well to the point where each one was dealing 10 damage each to her 99 defense. Then Chara realized that she had to be careful with her soul and her body. She sighed in annoyance another glitch or feature added to her list of burdens.

The spears came at her in all direction in battle and in life. It was difficult for her to cope with this new mechanic but she got used to it and tried to wait out Undyne and wait for her mercy button to appear.

She was already emotionally spent due to that kiss with Frisk earlier but she body pulled out the knife and aimed it at Undyne due to an old habit. Chara realized what was wrong and turned the knife backward to not kill undyne but to prolong the fight if need be so that her mercy button can appear and then she can run away.

The spears come at her in all directions in all different patterns that Chara hadn't seen before and then catches a memory of certain moves that are from the genocide route. Just her luck I guess but how long will she last?

(Oh sorry I think you are getting in my thought let's look back to the story and see how things are.)

Chara has sustained multiple injuries and Frisk can do nothing but watch as Chara struggles against the spear coming at her soul and at her body. Chara huffed in frustration as she grabbed her soul and pushes back into her body to make fighting a little easier. But spears were so random and his hurt so much when they hit her. The pain fueled her not to get hit but also clouded her thought of what movement was next.

The spears were coming all around her in battle. Chara wanted to end this fight by killing Undyne for everything she has done to her but she knew Frisk wouldn't forgive her so she kept dodging and defending herself still hoping almost wanting the MERCY button to appear but it hasn't yet appeared though.

She was bleeding with cuts and exhausted from this dreadful fight. Yes, Undyne still attacked her with spears coming in all directions. Her movements were now sluggish due to the pain and exhaustion and slightly because of the blood loss.

Her vision begins to blur and then she finally sees it the Mercy option the one option that is the most useful in this battle MERCY. She smiled and selected it and ran away. She was in great pain, yes but she ran with all her might and Frisk Ran next to her wanting to help but unable to do so due to the game rules.

She stopped to take a breather and saw Undyne was running after her. She kept running but the pain was getting to her and she couldn't move as fast. When she was about to catch her Papyrus' called her phone. and Undyne stopped as she Papyrus finished his dialogue but Since Chara knew this she manage to sneak a few more steps towards the Hot land as the call finished the Chase was back on and the wound on her thigh that she thought was gone but was brought back for one last final attack that made her fall to her knees.

When Chara stands she realizes that she is in battle and Undyne looks at her with uncertainty but she attacks anyway but this time using her orange spears. Chara sighed in relief. She couldn't stand the regular spears but the orange ones she could predict them.

Chara sees the option once again and runs with all of her might trying to make it to the next area. The Chara realizes that Frisk is nowhere to be seen. Her determination skyrockets as she tries to find him by running forward.She finds nothing forward so she decided to run back. She runs back to Undyne who is currently fighting Frisk and Frisk seems angry that Undyne has hurt her. Chara would have blushed at this if it was anyone except for Undyne they were fighting.

Chara sighs and pulls Frisk out of battle and runs with him. It was a trick she learned during neutral route done by the player. Pulling someone out of battle was difficult and exhausting but not when you have determination running through them. She ran with Frisk on her shoulders which slowed her down somewhat but she determined not to let Frisk Die.

She runs away and Notices that Frisk has passed out. She sighs in annoyance and she keeps moving but Undyne seriously wanted to kill them well at least Chara at this moment. Undyne caught Chara and Frisk but Chara was the one in battle, but when she did she would forget to turn them green and thus Allowing Chara to run away once more they past Sans' station and Undyne yell at him for sleeping on the job and then continued to run after Chara and Frisk.

The made it to the area where Undyne was supposed to Collapse to the heat but she got a lot farther than before and threw one final spear before collapsing. That last spear hit Frisk yet he felt no pain but Chara did cause her to almost fall unconscious but she kept her ground and gave Undyne her water and after Undyne left Chara gave Frisk some water before walking back to Sans and passing out.

Sans awoke to you an injured and exhausted Chara with a knocked out Frisk next to her who is slightly wet. To put it simply he was surprised at the sight, to say the least. He shrugged and teleported both of them to his house where Frisk awoke first.

He sees Chara's poor condition but can't do anything about it. It takes three days for Chara to recover.

Sans' POV

(Slanted words for anyone's POV is their thoughts)

Man each night is more confusing than before. What is going on between them? The first night Frisk was awake and crying but he didn't say anything. The second night he awoke and he was blushing I think, but to be honest the third night was the most ... interesting. When Frisk awoke his was sweating but also blushing profusely I wonder what happened. Each time I ask them about it. He always blushes and looks away. Well from my research Frisk might have entered Chara's mind. Well, this is news to me. I wonder how things will turn out from here. But if I am to be sure I won't mess up again. I need to test Chara at Judgement Hall.

Author's POV

(Fine fine Sans I'll leave you be and go back to the story jeez)

During those three nights, Frisk would enter Chara's mind and see glimpses of the memory or be able to talk to Chara. The first one is a memory of everything that has happened but it all happened so quick that Frisk couldn't register it but the thought of it drove him to tears as he woke up. Throughout the day he would watch over Chara like a caring friend or maybe something more who knows.

During the second night he saw more memory but this time it was the memory of recent times and how Chara felt towards Frisk and it mainly focused on their kids in Waterfall next to Napstablook's snail race. Frisk woke up blushing profusely unable to let his blush go like before and he couldn't suppress it for later.

The final night is something for later but it when Frisk got to talk to Chara in her mind but let's just say that things didn't just end at talking. That is all I will say about that except for they made out. No details about it and how it happened but it did happen.

After the third day, they finally made it all the way back to waterfall and towards Undyne's house. They both saw Papyrus greeted him and he said his usual dialogue and they met Undyne. Who looked at both of them with hate but she looked at Chara with more uncertainty than hate.

The visiting of Undyne were along as usual. Frisk explored everything and hearing all of Undyne's dialogue while Chara sat down and waited patiently for him to sit. Chara not even flinching when Undyne threw her spear a the table while Frisk flinched so hard she thought he had hurt himself but he was fine. She knew everything that was going to happen but, her thoughts were clouded of the night before. Then she notices that Frisk chooses to flirt with Undyne for a bit and Chara gets a tad bit jealous but decided to question him about that later. Frisk get serious and chooses the Tea Golden Flower tea. Memories flood her mind of Asgore and how will she cope with it.

She shook those thoughts away and focused on this. Then the cooking part of this begins and Chara is a little scared of what will happen. Undyne suddenly picks her up by the hair no less and jumps to her spot. Chara was, to say the least, surprised the sudden change of events. But Frisk was right there with her. He gently rubs the tomatoes softly while she knocked them over. She could have used her knife but she didn't want to touch that thing again unless in combat.

Then Undyne smashes it all. Chara stifled a laugh at Frisk face as it turned from friendly it slightly scared. Then they moved to the past and Frisk did that. As Undyne said her lines Frisk received a light blush as Chara looked at Frisk with disapproving eyes. Frisk saw them and frowned for a bit before stirring it as hard as he could before Undyne smashed it with her spears. Frisk was about to jump back in fear but stood his ground and stayed calm.

"Alright for the final step. TURN UP THE HEAT." Undyne yells as she says the rest of her dialogue. Frisk turns it the right way while Undyne says hotter and hotter. Another blush creeps onto Frisk face while Chara is simply smiling at him. The house burns down and then begins a battle with Frisk and Chara watches and see Frisk does a fake attack not wanting t hurt Undyne.

Everyone leaves the flaming house. Undyne takes her leave and frisk and Chara both wave goodbye and then proceed to Hot land using the river person. The river person looks at Chara and recognizes him.

"Tra la, la. Beware the man who speaks in hands or the woman who rises from the grave." The river person says as the boat floats to Hot land.

Frisk thanks the river person and Chara nod towards the river person obviously not happy about that last part they said. They make it all the way to the saving star and Frisk saves and then goes to the lab while Chara follows right behind him.

Then they enter the lab and suddenly meet Alphys and she freaks out and says her dialogue while Chara hides behind Frisk. Not wanting her to be seen. Then go as normal and then suddenly Mettaton appears and Chara sighs in annoyance as she remembers this.

Mettaton says his lines and things go exactly normal except for Mettaton seeing Chara and preparing more questions than last time. Alphys helps out by giving all the correct answers and Frisk selects them and then Alphys blurts out the answer about mew, mew kissy cutie. Then Mettaton shows the final question.

"Who does Dr. Alphys have a crush on?" Chara immediately chooses Undyne not wanting for Frisk.

Alphys becomes red due to Chara answering the question and then Mettaton says his dialogue and leaves. Alphys is still blushing a little bit but nothing too much.

Frisk tries to explore but when he gets close to the escalators Alphys stops both of them and then Upgrades both of their phones which Frisk thanked her for them and Chara simply nodded as thanks.

Chara was tired and yawned because of this so Frisk picked her up and took the river person back to snowdin and back to the inn where they could sleep together. They paid their gold and went upstairs and Frisk thanks, determination that they got through the night with those snoring people.

But I wonder what happened during that night.
