Its been 3 weeks since Alec living with Magnus and Alec never felt safer than ever. But he still has nightmares that scares Magnus. He wished he could helped Alec but he just refused to tell him. Whenever Alec woke up from his nightmare he would just keep quiet and stares blankly which it scares Magnus. Luke stopped by few times to check on Alec, they were still looking for Robert and they thought he left the city. But he promised Alec to look for him and made him pay for what he did. Alec went back to work at the cafe. He never went back to see his mum. He couldn't face his mother anymore. Every time he did, he will just hurt more and it only made him remember whatever happened in his house.

He was serving coffee when Magnus walked in. He smiled saw his boyfriend. "Hey hot stuffs." Magnus placed his elbow on the counter. Alec smiled at his words and leaned in kissing him. "I'll see you back at the loft?" Magnus asked when Alec let go of his lips. "Yeah. I'll be off by 10." Alec commented. "Want me to pick you up?" Magnus asked but Alec shakes his head smiling. Magnus has helped him enough. He helped Alec a lot and Alec couldn't felt more guilty like he was using Magnus. "No, it's fine. I'll see you tonight." Magnus nodded. Though he's not happy letting Alec walked home alone but he respected Alec's choices in his life. He kissed Alec again before depart and waved him goodbye before leaving the cafe. He doesn't know why but he had this feeling in his guts. He shake it off and head to his loft. He wanted to prepare Alec and him a nice dinner. So he went and get himself busy waiting for Alec to come home.

Its almost 10pm and Alec was cleaning up the cafe. "Hey, would you do me a favor? Can you take out the trash before you go?" Maia asked Alec while she was putting on her coat, leaving their cafe. Alec nodded, smiled. They both closed the door of the cafe and Maia waved Alec goodbye before take her leave. Alec took the garbage bag and went at the back of the cafe to throw it in the dumpster. He closed the dumpster lid and walked out from the alley when he felt someone cupped his mouth with a clothe. It taste weird and it smell weird too. Soon he felt the alley was spinning and darkness surrounds him.

Back at the loft

Magnus was done preparing dinner for him and Alec. He would be home in half an hour. So Magnus decide to rest on the couch but he fell asleep. He dreamt of Alec while he fell asleep. Alec came to him and kissed him in his sleep. He opened his eyes and he saw Alec by his side but his appearance is gruesome. Alec's head was bleeding and his mouth was pouring blood. "H-H-Help m-m-me." Magnus jolt up and panicked starts to fill his chest. He was sweating and trembling. When he's awake from his dream, he realized the clock pass midnight. He sat up and looked around the loft, Alec wasn't there. He got up and reached for his phone. No messages or call from Alec. He got worried. He start to pace around the loft and he called Maia. He tried for at least 3 times cause he knows Maia probably already fell asleep. But after the 4th call, she finally picked up. "Hello." Her voice was slurred as she just woke up. "Maia, I'm so sorry to disturb your sleep but have you seen Alec? He hasn't come home yet and I'm worried." Magnus grabbed his hair thinking and he could hear Maia started to move, "What? No! He and I left by 10pm and I asked him to throw the garbage. But that was the last time I saw him. I swear." She said but Magnus can feel guilt in her voice. "It's fine Maia, I'll go look for him. Thank you." Maia was about to say something but Magnus dropped the call. The next call he did was to Luke but it went to his voicemail. He left a message in Luke's phone saying he need help to find Alec and to meet him at the cafe. He dropped the call and grabbed his jacket. He ran out from his loft and went to his car heading to the cafe.
