Outside of the Cafe.

"Hey Luke thanks for coming man." Magnus shakes Luke's hand when he got out from his car. He's a detective so he use his own car instead of a police car. Luckily for Magnus Luke managed to helped him finding Alec. "What happened?" Luke asked Magnus hoping to fill in the details. "I don't know where Alec is. last time Maia saw him was here at the cafe before ending their shifts. She told me Alec went out to throw garbage but he never came home after that." They were walking towards the alley and circling around hoping to find any clues on where Alec's whereabout. Magnus was calling him over and over again but end up straight to the voicemail. He was walking in circles together with Luke when suddenly he say something. He saw Alec phones smashed by the dumpster. No wonder he couldn't reach Alec since his phone is smashed and turned off. He picked it up and tried to look around for more clues but he failed. "Oh, Alexander where the hell are you." Magnus sighed and rubbed his face with his palm. "Hey Magnus come over here." Luke shouted at him making him ran a little when he saw Luke holding a wallet. "Its not Alec's." He pointed out. When Luke opened it belongs to Robert Lightwood with his ID and his card. Magnus eyes widen hearing the name. He couldn't think straight. He start to panicked. "Oh god! Luke we have to go now! We have to find Alec now!" He started to raised his voice but Luke calm him down. "We will. Where do you think he might be? Where would Robert took Alec?" Luke asked Magnus knowing that he might not know where Robert took Alec but at least would give them some idea. Magnus shook his head and he couldn't think of anything. "All I could think was his old house." Magnus pointed out. "Okay lets starts there." Luke and Magnus ran together to their each others car and headed towards Alec's old house. On the way Luke called for some back up to get to Alec's resident. He doesn't know why or how but he had this strong feeling that Alec is there. Magnus was speeding through every traffic light on the street to reach to Alec's. His heart was pounding and all he could think of was Alec safe and sound in his arm.

Just as they expected, the house light was on means someone is there. Magnus jumped out from the car and ran towards the door followed by Luke. He tried to open it but it was locked. Its not locked by the door knob but it was sealed from the chained by the door. He kicked it opened and saw Robert coming towards him with a baseball bat. He managed to escaped from the swing and he punched Robert on the stomach. He kneeled in pain but insisted to continue but was stopped by Luke who catches his arm and cuffed it on his back. "Where the hell is he? Where is Alexander?" He gripped Robert by his collar and shouted. He just smirked at him and causing Magnus to get even more frustrated. He punched Robert in the face and gripped his collar harder. "I asked again, where is Alexander?" Robert didn't answer he just rolled his eyes up signing he's upstairs. Magnus punched him again on his face and Luke was holding Robert letting Magnus ran upstairs. He has to wait for the back up so he could arrest them for what they did to Alec.

When Magnus got upstairs he tried to open the door of Alec's room but it was locked. So he did again, he kicked the door opened and he saw Valentine by the bed side while Alec on his stomach half naked. Valentine was on the other side of the bed fixing his belt. "You son of a bitch!" Magnus was headed towards Valentine but he able to nudge him and punched Magnus on his face instead. He fell to the ground and Valentine jumped on him punching him even more. Magnus held back the punch protecting his face with his arm and he rolled over making Valentine fell on the floor and he took the opportunity to punched him back. He kept punching on Valentine releasing all of his anger thinking on what he did to Alec but someone stopped him from what he was doing. "Magnus stopped! Check on Alec. Now!" It was Luke and Magnus stopped after and he tilt his head to Alec's lifeless body on the bed. He let go of Luke's grip and jumped on the bed. He grabbed Alec's body and lay it on his lap. He covers back Alec's bottom by pulling his pants back on. The buttoned was ripped and his face was ruined. There's blood from his head, his forehead, his nostril, his mouth. His bruised was about to get better but now new bruised formed. He held Alec's head in his arm and his body rested on his lap. "Alexander please wake up. Opened your eyes please. I'm here now. Please. Please baby. I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you." Magnus cupped Alec's face and tapped it a little to wake him up but he failed. Alec's breathing was getting slower and weakened and there's nothing he could do. The police barged into the room and grabbed Valentine from Luke. "Ambulance is on their way Alec just hold on." Luke was stroking his head but Magnus hold him tighter. He hold him for a while and he could feel how Alec's warmth body started to turn cold and Magnus hold him tighter to his. He rocked his body with Alec back and forth begging him not to leave. Begging him to stay strong. Eventually when the paramedics was there, they had difficult time separating Magnus from Alec and Luke had to hold him down. They took Alec inside the ambulance and drove to the hospitals.

Magnus was pacing the hallway so many time waiting for the doctor to come out and gave them the news. Jace, Clary and Maia was there too but no one could stop Magnus from pacing through them. He refused to sit down and he kept on checking by the door. It was almost 4 hours of waiting when someone came out and said Alec's name. He felt relieve but still his heart pounded like a hammer. "Is he okay? How is he? Can I see him?" Magnus was eager and he couldn't wait for doctor's words. "He's stable for now. We have to intubate him and give him fluids, there were matters that we need to discuss." He looked at Luke and Magnus. He brought them in a private room and Luke started to interrogate the doctor but mostly taking statements based on his assessment. "We found multiple of bruises and injuries on Mr. Lightwood body which includes old and new. He fractured his ribs, his scapula, his arm and his leg. There's a bleeding on his brain signing from the trauma probably a hit or a fall. He suffers from organ damage, spleen ruptured which is why they had to operate him. He lost a lot of blood and they are transfusing now as we speak. But the most important thing we need to discussed is the concern we had when we found him tonight. We found an evidence of sexual abused. Apparently he wasn't just physically but also sexually abused." Magnus and Luke looked at each other and back at the doctor but Magnus had frown on his face not believing what the doctor said to him. Luke knows what happened and so does Magnus but he just refused to believe and continued to stay in denial. "What do you mean?" He asked. "Sir, I believed Mr. Lightwood was raped." Those words haunted Magnus and he refused to believe what he just heard. "Can I see him please." He signing himself out and he went out from the room with tears flooded his face. He couldn't tell everyone else about Alec being raped and he doesn't know what gonna happen next. Alec was just about to recover when this happen. Now he would become worst.

Magnus ran towards Alec's room and saw Alec lying on the bed. He has wires connected on his chest to the monitor. A tube for breathing in his mouth and his face is all messed up. Bruises everywhere and there's a cast on his leg and his arm due to the fracture. There's tube coming out from his chest and it looks like blood. He sat down beside Alec and hold his hand. Their fingers intertwined together. Alec's hand is so cold and pale. Magnus kissed it softly and leaned on Alec's forehead, kissing it. He couldn't help to stop the tear from falling. Seeing Alec like this, suffered in his mind and body. He didn't asked to be born like this but that they did to him is unspeakable. Magnus sat there whole night for Alec, so was Jace and Maia. But eventually they had to leave Magnus and promised to come back tomorrow. Magnus climbed on the bed and lay beside Alec whole night, hearing his machine making the sound so consistent he fell asleep.
