Ken's POV

Sara quickly grabbed me by my wrist and pulled me from my chair. We rushed towards the canteen.

As we reached, my sister came into view, lying on the floor, her head on a girl's lap, surrounded by a lot of other students.

Sara quickly left my hand and ran towards Anna.

"Get up!" She told the girl who had Anna's head on her lap. Sara quickly sat on the ground putting Anna's head on her lap.

She checked Anna's pulse while looking at her wrist-watch, and told a boy who rushed to the nurse's room and brought the blood pressure measuring machine.

Somebody got a glass of water, and she sprinkled it on Anna's face. In movies they wake up like this, but Anna didn't.

While wraping the band of the blood pressure measuring machine around Anna's arm, Sara asked me "Does it happen to her very often?"

I stayed quiet. This was the first time.

"Ken, I'm asking you! Does she have some kind problem?" She asked.

I stayed quiet.

"Damn it, Ken! I'm asking you something!" She sounded angry.

I shook my head.

She exhaled deeply and checked the pressure.

"It's not too low pressure either. Then what's the problem!" She looked tensed.

Damn it! Where's the nurse? Sara's not a doctor, what the hell is she trying to do?

"Ken," Sara looked at me "Does she have low sugar?"

"I-I don't know!" I stuttered.

"Fuck!" She cursed under her breadth.
"Anyone please bring me some chocolate. Please, fast!" She said.

A girl for some chocolate. She failed to feed Anna the chocolate since she was senseless.

She asked for a glass of water with a lot of sugar and a little salt in it.

This time I got it for her.

She fed it to Anna. Then she slowly sprikled some more water onto her face, she slowly woke up.

I sighed deeply.

She handed Anna the chocolate and asked her to eat it.

I rushed to her and hugged her. "How are you feeling now?" I asked her.

"I'm okay! Don't worry little brother!" She said.

My hands wrapped her tighter, and I burried my head on her shoulder. She knew I'm on the verge of breaking down.

She stroked my hair and said "It's okay li'l bro. I'm okay, look!" She said. But I refused to leave her.

"Okay now! Enough with the drama!" Sara cut in. "Now take her to the nurse's office. And Anna you eat the chocolate."

Anna was sitting in the nurse's room. The nurse praised Sara and said she did a good job at her absence. The day's almost over. I refused to go to the classes leaving Anna here.

There was a knock on the door.

"May I come in?" Sara was here.

"Yes, you may!" Said the nurse.

"How're you feeling?" She asked Anna.

"I'm feeling well now, all thanks to you!" Anna smiled.

"It's fine. So college is over. Should we head to our dorms?"

"Sure!"

"So, I'll take you?" Sara questioned.

Before Anna could give her consent I interrupted "No! I'll take her!"

"But she's my rommate!" Sara argued.

"So what? She's my sister!" I argued back. Sara rolled her eyes.

"Do whatever you please. I was just offering to take her since we stay together." She said turning around to leave.

"Wait! I'll go with you!" Anna suddenly said. Uughh! Whose side is she on?

"Okay?" She said, more like a question and came to sit beside her.

"Anna, can I ask you one thing?"

Anna nodded to her question.

"What did you eat last night, or this morning?"

Anna looked down, and after a long silence she answered not looking up "Nothing!"

"Great!" She mumbled. "From now on, no skipping meals, got it? You have low blood sugar level."

She nodded.

Anna had been starving herself. But why?

And after a little while Sara took Anna with her and I headed to my apartment. I kept thinking what happened to Anna.

My phone buzzed in my pocket as I took it out.

Can I talk to you for a while? Meet me? ~ Sara.

Wait, how did she get my number? Oh! Of course! Anna! I saved her number.

Why though?

I asked. I'm not in the mood right now. I've just settled down. After coming home and changing, I completed all my due assignments and just finished making dinner. It was my turn today.

Because I asked you to!

So bossy!

Okay fine! Where?

I texted back giving up.

Outside your apartment. I'm waiting.

What?

Just as I stepped out of the apartment lobby I spotted her standing there. It was freezing out and she was standing there shivering.

"So? What did you want to talk about?" I asked.

"About Anna!" She replied. I was initially in the mood to mock her or tease her, but with the mention of that one name, and my mood suddenly changed to serious.

"Is she okay?" I asked.

"Don't look so concerned. She's fine!" She said in a bored tone. "For now!" She added.

"What do you mean?"

"Can I ask you something?" I nodded.
"Does Anna have anorexic symptoms somehow?"

"What?"

"Don't tell me you don't know what that is!"

"No, no! I do know what it is! But Anna?"

"Yes! Anna!"

"And why do you think she might be anorexic?"

"Because since the time we met, I've hardly seen her eat anyhting. And... did she eat anything during lunch, apart from the chocolate?"

"No!" I replied suddenly realising. Could she be right?

"Well, she had low blood pressure too, I'm assuming because of starving herself. But not too low to pass out. And the girl's too skinny." She said with a sigh.

"What now?" I asked her utterly confused.

"Well, talk to your sister; take her to a therapist if needed. Yeah?"

"But I'm so confused!" I said as she attempted to walk away.

"Fuck what am I supposed to do to clear your confusion? Go Google it or something!"

"What do I tell her?"

"You'd know that! She's your sister."

"But I'm so fucking confused! How do I handle it?"

"Oh God! You're such a-" and she stopped as she looked at my panic state. With a sigh she tried to calm herself down. "Look, it's going to be fine, okay? Just talk to her. And if needed, talk to your parents afterwards. Okay?" She said soothingly, with a hand on my shoulder.

I nodded. "She has been suffering alone all along?"

"It's going to be fine, Ken! Quit the drama. And I'm gonna head towards the campus now, I'm freezing!" She said her teeth chattering and her arms wraped around herself.

I shrugged out of my jacket and put it forward to her. "Take it!"

"No thanks!" She refused.

"I said take it! Don't argue!"

"And I said no!" What a stubborn girl.

With that she walked away. I was not gonna let her leave like that. When I said that she will take my jacket, she will!

I followed behind her. It was hard to catch up on her as she walked too fast.

"What's your problem?" I asked desperately trying match her pace as we walked through the wind. I was freezing too now!

"What's your problem?" She asked stopping. It was too cold to fight with her. So I turned around to leave.

"You know what? Fuck it!" I said rushing towards my apartment as she walked in the opposite direction.

Just then I heard a voice say "Hey sweetheart! All alone? Need some company?" I turned around to see Sara surrounded by some bastards who'd be in their forties.

Oh God! It's definitely not safe here this late. What was she even thinking coming here this late?
