Off Her Chops Podcast
Julia's POV

I sit in my bedroom in my apartment. I just got back from doing TV and touring, so now I'm finally home. Well, back home in Georgia. I still live near the Nightmare Factory since I haven't had the time or the place to move. Besides, the area is nice enough and I already know my way around.

The screen on my computer finally loads and the spinning wheel of doom finally goes away. It's replaced with the images of none other than the former WWE Superstars Cassie Arneill and Jessica McKay's smiling faces. It isn't too long before they start recording.

Cassie: Welcome everyone, to Off Her Chops!

Jessica: Off Her Chops!!!

Cassie: Yes, everyone welcome. Today, we are joined by one of the youngest champions in wrestling history. Everyone please welcome former TBS Champion Julia Hart!

Me: Hey everyone.

Jessica: Wow, you look so good today!

Me, laughing: Thank you.

Cassie: How're you doing? Everything good?

Me: Yeah, yeah, everything's good. Thank you for having me.

Jessica: I got something that I wanna talk to you about.

I smile as she talks, ready for whatever she might ask me. I mean these are two of the pioneers in women's tag team wrestling, how can I not smile?

Jessica: So, you're not usually active online, right? You have an Instagram and a YouTube channel where you post your vlogs, right, but you're not usually active.

Me: No, I'm not. I only post things that I think are interesting because everything is online these days, so I try to stay as private as I can.

Jessica: Gotcha. Now, what I wanna talk about is your most recent post. You put up several pictures and videos of you and one of our friends Caleb Winters.

At the mention of his name, I freeze. I feel my eyes glance to the side, then look back. A wide smile crosses my face while I nod.

Jessica: What I want to know is how you know everyone's favorite Diamondback?

Me: Yeah so, the way I met Caleb was at Walmart uhhhh...

I giggle as I think about the first time I met. Cassie and Jessica laugh, making jokes about how that's the perfect place to meet a man.

Me: We met over by the video games, where they have the records. I was looking around for, I wanna say it was Kiss or the Beatles, anyway he saw me trying to grab them and started laughing.

Cassie: Were they high up or something?

Me: They weren't high, but they were towards the back. He'll swear to you that he was laughing at a text from his brother, but I guarantee he was laughing at me.

Jessica: Yep! Sounds like Caleb to me!

She says with a loud laugh. Their laughter is contagious and I join in. Finally, we calm down a little and I carry on.

Me: He walked over and offered to help me. I wanna say it was Kiss, because after he asked for which one I was trying to grab and he got it for me, he made a "blehhh" sound.

Cassie: He doesn't like Kiss!?

Me: No, not really. He only "tolerates" a couple of songs from them. The rest, he says they suck.

Jessica: What kinda music does he listen to?

Me: He goes way heavier than I do. He's got random stuff in there, but most of it is heavier than I go.

Cassie: Do you know any of the band names off the top of your head?

Me: Ummmm...what's the name? It's...Slaughter something. Slaughter to Prevail, that's it. That's his favorite band.

Jessica: I always thought he was more of a country lover.

Me: No, he just knows about country stuff because of his mom. When Saraya came to AEW and brought Ronnie, I had to call him. He and his friend were so excited to meet him, they love Falling, so yeah.

Cassie: What's Falling? Is that Ronnie's band name?

Me: Falling in Reverse. They're Ronnie's band.

Jessica: Oooooh. That's interesting. So, there's a couple of videos here that I want to ask about like this one. It's the third one in the group you posted.

I look at the video as she plays it. The video is of Duncan and DJ talking. When DJ goes to say "I'm here with Duncan", Caleb runs into frame with me on his back and stops once we're in the center. I shout "Julia" a couple times to interrupt them, I smile really wide, then he runs off as I giggle. I laugh watching it as the memory of making that video comes back to me.

Cassie: What's the story behind this?

Me: So there was a video I was in where I interrupted a couple of the guys in AEW by saying my name, then yelling "two times". The guys thought it was funny and decided to recreate it only we got them three times.

Cassie: Just had to beat the original, didn't you?

Me: You know how Caleb is.

Jessica: He might be the most competitive person I've ever met.

Cassie: I think it's Duncan.

Me: Oh my gosh, if they hear this, they're gonna start competing over who's the most competitive again.

I say with worry, which makes Cassie and Jessica laugh. Then, Cassie asks the question, the one question, that I know will open the doorway to a whole bunch of conspiracies and fan fictions.

Cassie: Wait, you're not dating, are you!?

I shake my head. My cheeks are flushed and I have a smile I can't hide across my face. Finally, I'm able to regain my composure and answer verbally.

Me: No...no, we are not together.

Jessica: Were you ever together?

Me: Well, there was this one time-...I'm kidding, no we've never been a thing. Just buddies I guess.

Cassie: If he asked you out, would you say yes?

Me: I wouldn't be opposed to it.

I try to answer carefully. I mean, he's a great friend and yes, I think he's cute, I always have, but that doesn't mean I have a crush on him. While I answer, I feel myself blush and smile uncontrollably.

Jessica: Oooooooooh. I saw the way he looked at you during Don't worry, we won't tell him. I'm not sure our listeners will or not, but I don't think they have a way to reach him.

Me: Uhhh...no, he doesn't use social media unless it's to check on me, a few friends, and to see what bands are going to be in whatever town he's in.

Cassie: Changing gears, since your contract with AEW is up, what are you thinking about doing next?

Me: Right now, just- Sorry, my phone's going off.

I look down at my lap and see the screen of my phone lit up with a notification. The notification is from the last person I would've expected.

Caleb: Ready?

Me: For what?

Caleb: The big leagues.

Another text comes through from an unknown number. I apologize to the IIconics for the interruption, then check the unknown number's text.

Unknown: Good morning, I was told this is the best way to reach you, Julia. We have a storyline set up and what you to be part of it. Call us when you can so we can set up your contract.
-The Game, Paul Levesque

Cassie: Everything okay, Julia?

Me: Huh? Oh. Y-Yeah. Yeah, everything's okay.

Caleb: Don't tell them anything. You're doing great, Jules.

I smile and blush, then wonder how long he's been listening. I put my phone to the side and smile, then lean forward, ready to answer any further questions the IIconics can send my way.
