Chapter twenty-eight

"Stop! I don't want to play." I yelled through laughs running around the kitchen table.

"Why would you do that?" Bhris laughed still chasing me.

"It was by accident, I didn't- aahhh!" I was cut off by him trying to run to my side of the table.

I took off running and jumped on the counter going to the other side laughing. He was right behind me, I pushed Sydney into him and ran in the living room behind the couch.

"Why are y'all chasing each other?" Vae asked rubbing her eyes.

"Imma beat Simone ass." Bhris said looking at me.

"I said sorry." I laughed. "Let's hug it out, come on babes."

"Yeah, let's hug it out." He held his arms out smiling.

"I knew you'll see it my way." I smiled walking towards him.

"Sim if you-" He pushed Sydney and yanked my arm making me fall on the floor as he jumped on me putting me in the headlock.

"I thought we was hugging it out." I pouted laughing.

"Why the hell would you think that?"

"Because you said it."

"I say a lot of shit I don't mean."

"Yeah alright, whoop ya ass."

"If you gon whoop my ass, do it. We could square up."

"No, we spread love not violence." I quickly said not feeling like getting beat up.

"No, we don't. Bhris you wanna get jumped or tag teamed?" Sydney asked as we both looked at him.

"If y'all like that, pop on me." He shrugged. I backed up cause I wasn't like that.

Sydney had other plans though, she popped on him and he slammed her as they fought. I was going to walk away but I remembered Bhris ate my food so I jumped in hitting him.

"He eating all they hits." Lew laughed.

"Why are they losing when it's two of them?" Dice asked laughing.

"No, it's one of them. Sim scared of that nigga, she sneak hitting." Lew answered.

"For real, hitting him and when he look at her she run. She a certified punk."

"What's all this noise?" Vae asked. "Oh no."

She started hitting Bhris while we jumped him, she helped a lot cause we finally got him on the floor as we began kicking and punching him while laughing.

"Aight, that's it." Lew put me in the headlock while he kicked Sydney so she could fall.

"Dice you touch me, imma fuck you up." Vae looked at him.

"Dice I swear to God you better not back down!" Lew yelled as we all looked at him waiting for his next move.

"Nah man, she don't-"

"Dice really the girlfriend, his bitch ass." Sydney laughed.

"Ain't nobody bitching me." Dice laughed but stopped once Vae looked at him.

"Yeah aight, you gotta have ya girl in check." Bhris said standing up.

"So you got Sim in check?" Vae gassed.

"Hell yeah, Sim go put on some fucking pants." He looked at me.

"You trying to prove a point and you look stupid." I told him going upstairs.

"Mhm." He hummed making me laugh.

I went to put some sweatpants on with a baggy shirt, I grabbed my phone checking the notifications I had. It was mainly Instagram and Twitter, I scrunched my face up at some of the comments on the picture Bhris put up.

I shook my head going downstairs smelling some food smiling, today was the family dinner. It officially started at 7 but black people can't be early for anything so it was going to eventually start at 8.

"Vae you need help?" I asked going in the kitchen since they were all in there.

"NOO!" They all yelled scaring me.

"Um you can make the kool-aid." Vae smiled.

"We bought a bunch of sodas and juice yesterday, that would be stupid." I laughed. "How about I bake one of the cakes?"

"No!" They yelled again as Sydney took the bowl out of my hand

"Um, babe don't we have to pick up Evy?" Bhris asked.

"No, in like a hour."

"But you know traffic take a lot, we might as well leave now so we could be there on time."

"But it's like twenty minutes away."

"No, um-"

"I need y'all to go to Walmart." Vae jumped in quickly.

"Why y'all making excuses? Sim listen, we trying to make it through damn dinner and if you touch something we dying. You can't cook and we don't want to eat nothing your hands made." Lew said looking directly in my eyes touching my shoulder.

"Lew!" Sydney yelled laughing.

"What? We too damn old to be sugarcoating shit."

"Alright but you could of said that shit a little nicer, look at her face you hurt her feelings." Vae pouted.

"She grown as hell, better stop treating that big ass baby like a child." Bhris pushed me.

"Don't talk to me." I grabbed my car keys going to the door. He followed me laughing as I locked my doors so he wouldn't get in.

He placed both hands on my passenger window and slid the window down unlocking the door and opening it. I sighed and started the car up.

"I want you all to myself I swear, you don't need nobody else I swear. I'm selfish." He sung along to the radio forcing me to look at him while I stopped at a red light.

I tried to pry his hands off my face but he kept getting closer and louder. I tried my hardest not to smile but I failed miserably once the song switched and he did his big ass smile.

"Huh boy." I laughed, this was his song.

"And you ain't a real nigga if you don't rep ya set, push it push it push it push it. Go get the money, go get the money." He yelled dancing in his seat making me laugh as I recorded him for snapchat.

"Son." I continued laughing as horns beeped behind us. I looked up noticing the light was green, I put my phone back down and drove off.

"Yo you know this my shit." He laughed calming down.

"I know you sha-stupid."

"I'm sha-tired. I'm getting old."

"Right, you like sha-thirty. My fine ass sugar daddy." I smiled touching his cheek.

"Where the sugar at for ya sha-daddy?" He smiled, I glanced at him making me laugh.

"When we get in the sha-house baby."

"Wait dead ass or you just playing along?"

"Dead ass." I laughed. "Well it depends who in the house."

"Shit we could reroute to my house."

"It's a fucking sha-plan!" I smiled.

"You ain't bout to sha-walk."

"Damn, let's go buy some sha-crutches then." I shook my head as we both started laughing.

"You funny as hell."

After the blowout session to my back we were now back at my house with my baby Evy in tote, she was being playful and back to her normal self. I missed my baby around the house.

"Where the fuck Sim at? I can't stay around y'all dumb bitches too long!" Stunna yelled as I opened the door.

"BEST FRIENDDDD!" I yelled running towards him.

"BESTIEEEE!" He yelled catching me.

"Ew." Sydney mumbled.

Stunna been gone for around two weeks because he had to go record some songs in Los Angeles, people down there was really rocking with him. I actually missed him around here.

"I missed you so much." I smiled getting down.

"On me, I missed you." He said making me laugh.

"So tell me about it, did you fuck bitches life up? You still STD free? No babymoms yet?"

"Yeah my music went good, I recorded five songs and actually performed two of them." He ignored me being sarcastic. "Of course I went down there fucking bitches lives up, I might got like three pregnant. I don't know I wasn't counting."

"MY BOY!!" Lew smacked his hand and Sydney scrunched her face up. "Don't say shit to me."

"I wasn't going to say shit to you anyway boy, fuck outta here."

"Yeah aight, keep getting smart with me Imma get my girl to beat you up."

"Yeah and I'm Santa Claus."

"Shit you might be, that pussy was a gift." He smirked.

"Shut the hell up for my nigga hear you."

"And? You talking to the big blood." He said making me laugh.

"This.. this is sad. Y'all both got people and keep fucking each other." Dice shook his head.

"Sidelines winning." All three of us said together.

Us three started laughing but I stopped once Bhris gripped my face and looked at me.

"What?" He asked.

"I was just making a joke." I rolled my eyes.

"Oh aight." He let go of my face and pushed my head back as I glared at him. "What? You wanna fight?"

"You do too much." I rolled my eyes.

"I don't give a fuck."

"Then don't damn."

"Been didn't."

"I know you haven't, stop talking to me damn."

"I do what I want, talk to who I want. Who checking me?"

"Bhris for real get out my face, I'm not even laughing you making me mad."

"I don't care, you always wanna play but when I start playing you get ya bitch ass attitudes."

"You just called me a bitch?"

"She know damn well.." Lew trailed off.

"You want me to call you one?"

"If you got the balls, go head."

"Can y'all take y'all negative energy over there? We can eat as soon as daddy and Sammy get here." Vae said shooing us out.

"You good?" Sydney asked.

"Yeah, he just aggravating."

"I hate when you do that, you a big ass play feign but when we play with you, you start getting mad and shit." Sydney said.

"I don't always get mad."

"You literally smacked the shit out of Bhris yesterday cause he said sidelines winning but he grabbed you and you start bitching. You annoying as hell."

"Alright I don't care." I mumbled going to sit on his lap wrapping my arms around his neck while he continued on his phone not paying me no attention.

"Who texting us?" I smiled, he tilted the phone towards me letting me know he was going through people snaps. "Can I take a picture on ya phone?"

"No, I don't have no more storage thanks to you."

"No, you got hella off guards of me. It's your fault."

"Cause when I'm away from you I like looking at ya beautiful ass." He mumbled making me smile.

"I love you so much." I mumbled before I kissed his lips.

"I love you so much more."

Evy started barking as the doorbell rung but calmed down and ran over to Bhris and I laying on us. Bhris tried to push her but I popped his hands, my baby could lay with us.

"Look at the happy family." Stunna yelled making me look up to see he was recording.

"Your family goals." Bhris stuck his middle finger up making me laugh.

"Hey dad." Vae smiled hugging him as we all stood up. "Hey Tac."

"Wassup babygirl?" Tac kissed her forehead and looked around.

"Hey papas." I smiled hugging both as they returned. "Y'all remember them right?"

"The retarded as hell one is Stunna right?" Tac asked making me laugh.

"Um no, I'm Stunna." Stunna said.

"Nigga I was talking about you."

"The funny one Lew?" My dad asked.

"Yesssirr." Lew smiled.

"The one that act like a bitch is Dice?" Tac asked making me laugh.

"Y'all gon stop calling my baby a bitch." Vae laughed rubbing his arm.

"This tall big bird ass motherfucker is Chris right?" Tac asked and I turned my head so he wouldn't know I was laughing.

"It's Bhris big brah." Bhris answered.

"Nah it's Chris cuz!" Tac sized him up going to one side as my father went to the other side.

"Like he said, big C'z up. Fuck you mean?" My father said.

"Yeah aight, just cause y'all her peoples don't mean shit. I ain't no little nigga, fuck you mean?" He looked at both of them.

"They playing with you." I said as we started laughing. "Calm down big fella."

"Nah, I fucks with ya boyfriend. These lil niggas would of folded up, you got my respect blood." Tac held out his hand making me laugh.

"Where the food?" Sammy asked coming in with Mahogany and Anastasia.

"Give me the baby." I smiled grabbing the car seat from her.

"Sim, that is not your baby." Vae looked at me as I took the blanket and stuff off her.

"Yes, she is. We have a bond." I smiled putting our faces together as she smiled.

"Who the hell is you?" Tac asked looking at Mahogany.

"He gets on my nerves." Sydney laughed.

"No, Sim was really scared as hell." Vae said making them laugh.

"No, I wasn't. I was just-"

"Scared as hell." Stunna cut me off making them laugh harder.

"Alright, I was scared but it was my first time in jail and I was practically half naked." I laughed remembering the night of the ABC party.

"Nah, I was the drunkest of them all. I was lucky my birthday just had passed." Rico said shaking his head.

"That night was fun as hell." Vae shook her head.

"So I wanna see mug shots, lemme see." Tac said making me groan.

"If I could get my phone, I would show you my case." Rico laughed throwing shade.

Vae collected all our phones before dinner so we wouldn't be on our phones, no distractions.

"You got her mugshot as a phone case? You got more? I want like 7." Tac tried to whisper the last part.

"We'll talk later." Rico whispered back as I glared at both of them.

"Vae I left my bottle in the fridge can you get that for me?" Tac asked as she nodded. "Thank you baby girl."

"Go head lil nigga you got one shot." Dad said as I scrunched my face up.

"What? What you mean?"

Vae came back and Dice dropped on one knee in front of her making all the girls scream as Vae covered her face.

"The reason I was so pressed on getting your peoples out here was because I wanted to do this, I needed to do this. I love you so much and ain't nobody better for me than you, I would say a lot more but it's people in here." He stopped making us laugh as dad recorded.

"Will you marry me?" He asked and she nodded tears going down her face. He slid the ring on her finger and she jumped on him wrapping her legs around him.

"Awww." I smiled big leaning my head on Bhris.

"Don't even think about it."

"Please, you'll want to marry me sooner than later." I waved him off.

"Wait one more announcement, the other reason we decided to have this dinner was to announce I am three months pregnant." She smiled.

"IT'S FUCKING LIT!" Stunna yelled as we all laughed and clapped.

"Congrats brother." Sammy hugged Dice as we all stood up to hug them and congratulate them.

All of a sudden the phones started ringing, vibrating being loud since they were all together. We stopped smiling and looked at the box, since Sydney was the closest she grabbed her phone and unlocked it and her eyes got wide.

"What?" Lew asked.

"Simone and Navaeh, I think y'all should check y'all phones." She mumbled making me sigh.

I could never have a peaceful life.

Since my mother blessing me with a big Sunday dinner, I thought I should bless y'all. She making Baked & Cheese, y'all know how much I love bake mac and cheese. IT'S FUCKING LIT!
