I smiled stepping out the uber with Evy in my hand, my baby was so big now. The man helped me take my bags into the hallway as I thanked him. It was quiet which made me furrow my eyebrows, it's never quiet.

I quietly walked in the livingroom still wanting to surprise them but they weren't in there. I walked in the kitchen and there they were. Nailah, Sydney and Navaeh was in the kitchen with their backs facing me looking at clothes on the laptop.

"I really like that shirt." I said making them turn around and they all looked like they saw a ghost.

"Nai what the hell was in that weed?" Sydney asked squinting her eyes.

"Right, I think I see Sim." Vae said.

"Cause you do sillies." I laughed.

"Sim!!" They all ran to me making me laugh.

"Bitch where you was at?" Sydney popped me.

"I needed a break but I'm back now." I smiled.

"Bitch you done missed out on so much." Nailah said.

"Fill me in." I laughed. "Wait first let's surprise the boys." 

"Right, Imma tell Stunna and them to come." Vae said.

"Oh we should tell you they live down the street now." Nailah shook her head.

"So we neighbors with Stunna? Aw man." 

"You don't even know the half of it." Syd rolled her eyes.

"Stunna said Dice, Lew and him on their way." Nailah said.

"I'm going to take my stuff upstairs and sneak on them." I laughed as Evy followed me as we took our stuff upstairs.

After unpacking most of my stuff I finally heard them in the livingroom, Stunna yelling as usual. I closed my door so Evy won't come out and snuck down the stairs. They was in the kicthen with their back turned.

"Man Nailah you really a liar, give me my fucking money." Dice said.

"I did see Obama or was that Kendrick Lamar? Damn." She laughed.

"I can't put up with y'all no more, Sim need to bring her ass home now!" Lew said.

"For real, I don't even like the bitch but I'll prefer her over y'all." Stunna yelled.

"Tell me how you really feel." I said and all three of their bitch asses jumped making me laugh.

"Nah bro, I seeing shit." Stunna said wiping his eyes.

"I seeing shit? How old are you?" Sydney asked.

"I would say my age and ya body count the same but ya shit too high." Stunna yelled in her face making me laugh.

"At least I was a smart hoe, your dumb ass paying bitches monthly bills and car notes and shit."

"Suck a nigga dick for a iPhone 6." Stunna laughed.

"Just retarded." Nailah shook his head.

"He was already dumb but I think when Quavo whooped that ass he lost a few chromosomes." Sydney added laughing.

"Whaaaaat?" I asked shocked.

"You don't believe that your damn self." Stunna looked her up and down.

"That's why y'all had to tag team lil bro right?" Nailah challenged laughing.

"Wait y'all really fought Quavo? Who? Where? What? Why? How?"

"Like two weeks ago we was all at Applebees and Bhris spotted him first. He stepped up to him on some you disrespected Sim I told you when I see you, you gotta catch this fade." Dice explained.

"But the shit that was crazy was that Quavo was with his mother." Vae shook his head.

"Then what happened?"

"Quavo said something like he ain't bout to fight over you so Bhris stole em." Nailah laughed.

"Bhris was whopping his ass for a few until Quavo slammed him, you know his stupid ass still had stitches so he couldn't do shit at that point and Lew tagged his self in." Nai said.

"Whooped his ass by the way." Lew laughed sipping his water.

"When they pulled Lew off of Quavo, Stunna tagged his self in." Vae said.

"Got that ass whooped." Sydney laughed.

"He got a few hits off Stun but Stunna did fuck him up." Nailah clarified.

"Wow leave for a month and some change and things change." I laughed.

"Where was you?" Dice asked.

"Needed a break but I'm back." I smiled.

"Yo tell me why this bitch told..." Sammy said entering the kitchen then stopped talking once he saw me.

I didn't say anything, I just looked at him as he did the same thing. What was there to say to him? Sorry I left you when you just had a near death experience but I'm back now, let's make up? It's not that easy.

"You're always on my mind, when you come around I get shy when I see you." Lew started singing.

"Bro." Dice said as they all laughed.

"When you get back?" He asked never breaking eye contact.

"A hour ago."

"Cool." He nodded then looked at them making me sigh. Before I could say anything Mary, Mahogany and Maya walked in making me raise a eyebrow.

"You left your phone baby." Mahogany said then her eyes widened when they saw me.

"Thanks Mo." Sammy said and I scrunched my face up. That was the name he use to call me.

"Simone you're glowing, when did you get back?" She asked smiling.

"A hour ago." I stared at her blankly then at her baby bump.

"Well we gon be late for our nail appointment, we still got plans later?" Maya asked looking at them.

"Yeah, we going to that restaurant?" Nai asked and I grew confused.

I guess a lot did change.

"Yeah, we'll text y'all." Mary said. They all hugged and Mahogany kissed Sammy making me turn my head.

I went upstairs to get my phone out my bag turning it on for the first time in weeks. I plugged it up to the charger and continued unpacking until someone knocked on my door.

I told them to come in revealing it to be Sammy. I couldn't bring myself to look at him so I focused on the clothes in my hand not saying anything.

"Me and Mahogany-"

"You don't owe me an explanation." I cut him off. I didn't need to hear the details of how they got together.

"You cold?"

"Huh?" I asked confused and he pointed to my long sleeve sweater. "Yeahh.." I trailed off.

"I could tell Vae to-"

"How can I help you Sammy? Did you specifically want something?"

"I can't come catch up?" He asked laughing. No, I thought.

"You could do what you want, this is the land of the free."

"I'm not understanding why you're mad, you the one that left. I should be fuming and cursing you out but I'm not."

"You can if you need to." I shrugged.

"What happened Sim?" He sat down on my bed.

"Can you not sit on my bed with outside clothes on?" I asked avoiding his question.

"Why you not looking at me?"

"Why you keep asking questions? You want to know what happened? I left to get away from the drama and all of this. I don't want to go back to that either, you're the root of all my problems so you should just leave me alone!" I said getting annoyed.

"As you wish." He laughed then walked out the room leaving me alone. I walked into the bathroom going through the cabinet.

I found the razor and pulled up my sweater looking at the many scars I created. Some old, new and healing. I sighed then leaned against the door starting new ones, making sure to not hit any vains.

Letting the blood flow down, I slid down the door and closed my eyes tightly then smiled. I turned on Pandora on the device that was connected to the wall.

I started to strip and got into the shower letting the water clean the blood off my arms. I looked down at the blood that was now in the tub and sadly smiled.

After thirty minutes I got out putting on some sweats and a hoodie. I plastered the fakest smile I could but when I got downstairs Bhris was standing there and that fake smile was replaced with a real one as I jumped on him.

"Sydney get your big ass off of me." He laughed.

"I'm right here nigga." Sydney said making him go confused as he looked around.

"Vae?"

"Yeah?" She asked coming down. 

He reached his hand up and touched my hair. He started shaking so I could get down and when he turned around it was like the whole room got quiet.

"Bankroll motherfuckin Bhris." I smiled.

"Sim I'm bout to whoop that ass Mon." He smiled then we both laughed as he hugged me tight.

"I missed you." I smiled.

"I missed you too, we gotta talk." He shook his head.

"Another day." I nodded. He looked me up and down looking at my clothes then made a confused face.

"Sim you coming out with us?" Sydney asked. Us as in with Sammy and his girlfriend? No thank you, I thought.

"I'll rather be alone tonight." I smiled.

"Simone why you got on sweats? It's hot as hell in here." Vae said and Bhris studied my face making me turn.

"Well maybe I'm cold, we're not the same." I rolled my eyes.

"It was just a question." Vae defended.

"Okay." I muttered going into the kitchen where Sammy, Dice, Lew and Stunna was.

"I was looking for that." Sammy laughed making me look down to see he was talking about his white and red supreme hoodie I had on.

"You want it?" I asked.

"You good." I nodded my head then looked through the cabinets for some snacks rolling my eyes when I couldn't find anything.

"You got a tattoo?" Dice asked. I looked at him then looked down at my waistline and pulled my hoodie down.

"You nosy." I moved on to the refrigerator looking for something.

"I wanna see ya tattoo." Nailah said smiling.

"Okay." I said and continued looking through the refrigerator then sighed when I couldn't find anything.

"Well can I see?" She asked. I lifted up my hoodie high enough so she can see the simple tattoo.

"It's dope, you gotta catch up though sis." Dice laughed and I fake laughed.

"I'll be caught up soon."

"So where was you?" Vae asked.

"I'm going to the gas station." I walked out the kitchen as they all looked at me weird. I grabbed my car keys and headed out with Bhris following me.

"What you doing?" I asked.

"I wanna go."

"How about I get you what you want and come back? My treat."

"Nah I think I'll go." He snatched my keys out my hand and got in as I sighed.

He pulled out his phone plugging it in the aux cord. I raised my eyebrow at his song choice amused but laughed once he started singing.

"You are not alone, I am here with you." He sung and I laughed.

"You got something you wanna say Bhristopher?" I asked as we both laughed. He grabbed his phone to pause the song.

"Sim what happened to hitting us up to let us know you was good? I kept ya secret and texted you everyday faithfully, you couldn't of at least replied with a emoji or something?"

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to be happy again." I sighed playing with my fingers.

"And how that go?"

"Not so good."

"You know why? You need to be surrounded by people who love ya ass so we could help you get through this shit."

"Maybe you're right."

"I'm always right but even if you don't wanna go to Syd and them come to me Sim. You know I'm dropping bodies and doing anything to keep that smile on ya face."

"Speaking of dropping bodies, Quavo?" I asked and we both laughed.

"I ain't got stitches no mo', imma end his football career before it get started."

"So damn violent. You had to do it in front of his mother?"

"It's called on sight for a reason. He should of never came in my peripheral."

"Okay thugga." I laughed. Getting out the car walking in the gas station.

"So you still buying orr...?" Bhris asked making me laugh.

"Get whatever you want." I told him.

"I could get whatever I want?" He mocked the video.

"You could get whatever you want."

"Oh alright. I want some cheese-itz and shit."

"All you gotta do is point, your friends want something to?"

"Oh you got it like that zaddy?" He asked and we both busted out laughing.

We got all of our snacks and despite us playing we got back in the car 10 minutes later because people wanted pictures with us.

"In the middle of the party, bitch get off me. In the cut, I'm rolling up my broccoli. Ya I know your baby mother fond of me, all she wanna do is smoke that broccoli."

We rapped in the camera for snapchat, he glanced at the camera then took a short pause and dabbed catching me off guard as I laughed.

"Ayeee!" I yelled smiling wide.

"You like that right Sim?" He asked sticking out his tongue then hitting the folks.

"Aight don't get too happy, you driving." I laughed.

"You tryna be funny?" He asked and I grew confused until I caught on about the accident.

"I wasn't even thinking like that." I laughed.

"Yatchy be going crazy."

"That's not how you pronounce his name."

"How you gon tell me? I know that nigga. He even pronounced it in the song like that."

I got quiet so I could hear him say his name and frowned. I hate being wrong.

"I been pronouncing it as yat-che." I laughed.

"Nah." He shook his head getting his phone from the aux.

"Who car?" I asked looking at the car in my driveway.

"Mahogany." He said dryly.

"I thought y'all was cool with her."

"We'll speak on that later." He said as I nodded in understanding.

"There you go, we were waiting on you so we can leave. Sim you coming?" Maya asked.

"No." I took the bag out of Bhris hand separating our snacks.

"Y'all could go ahead without me too, ima stay here." Bhris said.

"We been planning this all week, why would you back out last minute?" Nailah asked rolling her eyes.

"Because Sim came back last minute, I would rather stay with her than going out to eat."

"So how about Sim just come?" Mahogany asked. Yeah just offer my services.

"You can't just volunteer her somewhere." Lew gave her that Waka Flocka Face.

"Come on Sim it'll be fun." Vae smiled. We got two different definitions of fun, I thought.

"Okay." I agreed since I wanted to eat.

This is going to be annoying.
