Ava's pov-

The person who was in front of me was not someone I was expecting at all.

Cassandra.

"Miss me,little Ava?Did you?"

I was in shock.Words are not enough to describe what I felt right now.

"Amber tie Dylan along with his family if you want to see your dear daughter and ex-husband alive."

I looked at Amber.There was an expression on her face that wasn't what I was expecting.Guilt.But why?

"I am really sorry Ava.I didn't ever want to do this.Five years ago I had to act along with Dylan's twin brother to separate both of you to save my daughter and my Phil.I don't even know how to explain this. My part was to act what she said and just get underground for a while.After you left,Phil divorced me because he thought I was cheating on him with Dylan but it was his twin and I wasn't even cheating.I had to act according to what he thought because Cass held my family under her vision."

She looked down while tears flew from her eyes.

"I don't even have a twin you liar."

Dylan shouted.

"Well,you're mistaken dear."

Cassy had a smug look.

"Bring him in."

We looked around to see the person who had a painful expression on his face that resembled my husband too much.

He looked exactly like Dylan but he was beaten up really badly.He looked the exact replica of Dylan. Dittos except for the black hair. Dyl's hair is brown.

"It's good to meet your family,Right?Tyson?"

Skylar and Chris were so shocked.

"But my baby was a girl who died.The doctor told me."

Dylan and I looked at Skylar and Chris with shocked expressions.

"But mom you told us that I didn't have a twin? Why the hell did you lie?"

He shouted.

"We are sorry. So sorry,baby.I went into labour at seven months.The surgery wasn't normal and the doctors even said that there was a very little chance that the babies would survive.We had decided not to know your genders so after the surgery I got to know that our baby girl had died.You were our miracle baby,prematured and very weak.It seems that the doctor lied."

She looked at Tyson with her face full of tears.

"My other little boy.I am so sorry."

Tyson looked at her.He was giving her look that was so forlorn.

Chris looked as if someone had decked him in his stomach.

"Tyson won't you like to explain your birth history to your family before I reveal my real motives."

That traitress.

"I am really sorry guys.I knew I had a family but I didn't want to meet you guys.I was stolen from the hospital after I was born.The doctor was working for people who supply new borns to couples who couldn't have children for money.My adoptive parents died in an accident when I was ten.My life wasn't easy.My parents were great people.I loved them but after their death life was really tough."

Skylar and Chris were crying.Even Dyl and Rachel looked as if they wanted to hug him.

He continued.

"Anyway,childhood was spent some how.I own a garage in Los Angeles now.My wife was Naomi Winters.The woman who served as the fake egg donor of Zoe.Five years ago I got to know about you all. Cassandra was my girlfriend back then.She told me that you guys didn't want me.I was very naive and in my rage I did what I shouldn't have.I am really sorry but I really hated you.I didn't have a best life and I blamed you all because I thought you left me.I despised your luxurious lives.I acted as Dylan that night when Ava left.I was not in contact with her after that because we broke up.Two years ago,I met Naomi. We got married and she became friends with Cassy.I didn't know about it."

He continued.

"My wife agreed to act for Cassy for money.She was a drug addict and she needed money for weed.I never knew about her addiction.She took Ava's donated eggs and sold them to Cassy from the NGO she worked at.I am sure you know what happened next.My wife died of her nasty addiction.During her last days she told me everything and her last wish was to get Ava and Dylan to know the truth about their daughter.Cassy had very cleverly manipulated her into believing I still loved her and she did this out of rage so that she could hurt me by hurting my family.Money for drugs wasn't the only reason.I tried reaching you but i could not.I even came to tell you  the truth Dylan,when you took Zoe to the clinic after returning from your honeymoon but before I could reach you.You were gone and Cassy kidnapped me."

The truth was almost out.This was impossible.Tyson had came to warn us and we had fled from him thinking that he was the doppelganger who was behind all this.

"You should have come to us.You were family. My own brother. I am sure whatever happened to you was unfortunate but that didn't give you the right to play with my life."

Dylan was crying.

He  looked at his parents who were very pale.

My children were no where to be seen.Only Zoe was with Rachel.

"Where are my kids Cassy?"

"Oh,they are fine babe.Very happy playing with other kids in the garden. I couldn't bring myself to hurt them. They are a part of you after all.I did it all for you Avalon.I have craved you for so long.You don't even know how much I love you."

I looked at her in dismay.How had I never noticed the signs?

"Do you even know how much trouble I had to go through to separate you both only for you guys to recoincle.I mean I had to kidnap your sister,kill your daughter.. Oh God.So hectic."

My head immediately went to up to look at her.

"What do you mean?"

Dylan beat me to question her.

"Oh.Do you think Athena's death was because of her autism.I mean yeah she got her asthma attack but I removed the life support in hospital in hopes of breaking you up but you only grew close to each other."

That's it.

I slapped her right across the face. My little girl.My first baby.

She only laughed in response.

"Did you even notice me ever Avalon? I was in your high school too.I have been in love with you forever. I was the girl in background who wanted you to herself.My innocent mind couldn't bring herself to do something until you got pregnant for the first time.That was my breaking point.I killed your baby.Did not work for me.I waited for two years after that and when you got pregnant again I played my masterstroke.Tyson and Amber played a big part.Poor Ty didn't even know I kidnapped his own sister, I'm sure that would have erased all the anger he has for you all.Isn't it Tyson?"

She winked at him.

"You are a bitch Cassandra. You are not going to get away with it."

"We will see that ex boyfriend."

She blew him a kiss.I was disgusted.I trusted this girl so much, considered her my best friend.

"Oh Ava,baby you fell directly in my arms after you moved to L.A.Do you think the meeting in the library was a coincidence.. I am sure it's a no now.I tried so much to seduce you but you never understood my feelings. I helped you raise your kids but you never appreciated me.I do love you with everything Avalon.Come with me.We can be a family.I won't even raise a finger at anyone in your family if you agree with me."

She pressed her cold lips against mine and gave me a kiss that made me crawl in disgust.I just stood there doing nothing.

"So sweet.The taste of your lips.So sweet."

She cost me so much.My daughter.

Dylan was looking at me in shock.I looked at him defeated.

"I will come with you Cass only if you tell me if William,the guy who attacked me in Canada was also a part of your plan?"

"Oh no!Lucas appointed him after you.Remember him Dylan!the school's quarterback before you.He got into weed after you snatched his position. He wanted revenge from you for destroying his life.He went after Avalon.I didn't know about him until recently when he tried to steal from you.The mole in your company was planted by him.I went to him to join hands in taking you from riches to rags but then I found out that he tried to harm my Ava so I killed him.Fucker put up a good fight but my men shot him and I had stabbed him 30 times.Enjoyed it."

Cold sweat dropped from my head.She is not only a murderer but also a physco.

"Come with me now. Say your goodbyes to your family."

I looked around at everyone.

"Don't you ever consider it Avalon. Never.. Don't."

Skylar and Chris were shouting.

Dylan just kept quite.I am sure he knows me enough to trust me on this. Rachel was clutching Zoe and looked at me with a pained expression.My heart was breaking.

Where in the world has Amber gone!

Suddenly gun-shots were fired.I heard police sirens.

"Away from the Vanderbilts.All of you.Untie them."

The police had entered the scene.Who called them.

Dylan was smirking.

"For someone who considers herself smart."

Smirking to himself,he dropped the bomb.

"You destroyed my family Cassandra.Killed my daughter.Kidnapped my sister and took advantage of my asshole brother when he was not emotionally fit.You are smart but I am smarter.Do you think I would leave my place unguarded when I know about how dangerous your game has become.The police were undercover. They were already in here when you arrived. The whole mansion was surrounded. Everything you just said is on camera.The only place you are going is a mental asylum where you are going to rot for the rest of your life."

Oh my god.

My husband is a genius. I never even had any idea about this.He arrived just today morning and even after being absent from the mansion he planned this so successfully.

"Y-you scoundrel. I would not lose.Ava is mine.Those death threats were my hint to you that I hate you.They meant nothing.I just wanted to distract you."

"I am well aware of that.Rachel sent the message of Zoe being Ava's and mine before I got your so called text.Yes,the phone call I received in the hospital wasn't the first call I got.Even Amber is working for me.Do you know where she disappeared from here?To inform the police to come here.I knew you had your eyes on her family from five years ,that is why she worked for you.You even made her divorce her husband. I am way ahead of you Cassandra. Oh and by the way,your father helped too."

My mouth grew wide.

"Yes everyone.I got a call from her father this morning that Cassandra was out to visit my wife and she had forgot to take her medical pills prescribed by her physiatrist.I had a doubt on her but when I was on my way to my house after landing here in the morning, I saw Cassandra talking to Amber who looked very scared.Everything clicked in after that. Your secret was out."

"You knew everything?"

Chris asked him.

"I did Dad.Almost everything. I didn't tell you guys because I wanted her to confess in front of everyone and also on camera so that we have enough evidence against her.I am sorry I didn't tell anyone."

This was directed towards me I know.

The police had caught Cassandra.

"I will get back to all of you.This is not over."

Skylar slapped her.

"This is for destroying my family. My kids and my granddaughter."

She was ushered away by the police after that.

Dylan immediately hugged me.

"I love you so much."

"I love you too."

Rachel was hollered in kisses by everyone.

Tyson was forgiven.I know whatever he did was not correct but he was emotionally drained when it happened.Dylan actually hugged him and welcomed him to his family. It was good to see everyone together.

My Athena.

"You finally got justice baby girl."

I whispered to myself.

"Mommy cut the cake."

Jerry ran in the hall.I laughed. Humorous situation really, so much happened and no one even knows.

I think this is God's way of ending the evils of our life.

"Of course kiddo and meet your uncle Tyson."

Dylan introduced Ty to everyone and it was adorable to see another pair of twins.

Jerry and Jasey even started a competition who was the best pair.

Oh,we have to cut the cake now.Lol.Bye Bye.
