Ruhana meets Vineet when she goes for the interview. She is glad to meet him after twenty long years. They used to be batchmates during college, and she almost lost her connection with him after she got married. He seems pleased and after a few more questions, appoints her for the job. Ruhana is elated and she thanks him for his efforts.

As Ruhana moves out, Ruhaani asks her about the interview and the former tells her that she has got the job.

Ruhaani chuckles and hugs her mom while Ruhana is emotional at the moment. She is glad that she has Ruhaani by her side who understands her well. They share a bond of friendship and it is a unique bond. They're unaware that Vineet has heard them talking. Ruhaani takes hold of the folder that her mom has been holding and entangles her arm in Ruhana's arm as the mother-daughter walk towards the exit of the office.

Besides the reception, there is a waiting lounge, where some people are sitting. A lady is there and she seems to be an experienced person. She seems to be a nice person but behind her smile, she hides her ugly persona who can't see anyone succeeding in their life. She saw Ruhana entering the ward and also saw her and Vineet talking in a friendly way through the see-through wall. Also, she has seen him looking at the mother and daughter duo.

"Did you get the job, young lady?" She asks while looking at Ruhaani.

"Yes, my Mumma got it. " Ruhaani says proudly.

"Mumma? I mean did she go for the interview? In this age!" the lady asks, taunting Ruhana of her age.

"Yeah! She's a fashion designer. Main toh abhi school mein padhti hoon." Ruhaani says.

"Oh! Mujhe laga tumhara interview tha, beta. Mujhe laga ki tumhe job dilaane ke liye tumhari mom hamare boss se mili thi. Lagta hain ki ye hamare boss ko bhi jaanti hain. Mujhe nahi laga tha ki tumhe itni jaldi job mil jayegi, Sir itni jaldi kisi ko kaam par nahi rakhte." the lady taunts, while looking at Ruhana.

"Oh! Were you spying on your boss?" Ruhana asks the lady.

"What do you mean? I am not that kind." The lady responds firmly.

"Well, you seem like that. Yes, I met your boss, Mr Vineet Shergill! And see the universe also wanted me to meet him. He's my old friend. Ab doston se milna toh koi gunaah nahi hain na! " Ruhana rolls her eyes at the lady.

"Aur rahi baat job dilaane ki! Toh Ms Mehra!" Ruhana reads her nameplate and looks at her.

"Toh Ms Mehra, job toh kaabiliyat se milti hain. Mujhe apni beti pe pura vishwas hain, mujhe usey job dilaane ke liye kisi se milna nahi padega! Aur ye job bhi mujhe meri kaabiliyat se mili hain. Please kisi se ye na kahiyega ki aapke boss ne apne dost ko job di! Waise bhi mere dost ki wajah se hi aap sabka ghar chalta hain, right? Wo aapko naukri na deta toh aap bhi raste pe ghum rahi hoti, Ms Mehra!" Ruhana says firmly, anger is building inside her, but she's trying to control herself.

"What do you mean? "the lady is suddenly conscious.

" Wahi jo aap samajh rahi hai. Ab aapne age ki baat kahi toh main aapko bata dun, ki maa banne ke baad toh aurat ki zindagi khatm nahi ho jati, ab bache toh aapke bhi honge. " Ruhana says firmly and in the meantime, two boys come and hug the lady who taunted Ruhana

"aapke bhi 2 bache hain, toh Vineet uncle ne apko job pe kyun rakha, aunty? Aapki age kahan rahi job karne ki?" Ruhaani taunts the lady who rolls her eyes but it doesn't affect Ruhaani.

The lady is embarrassed, she downs her gaze. She doesn't have anything to say.

"Waise free ka advice hai, Ms Mehra. Aap bhi aurat hain, toh kamse kam us maryada ka khayal rakhein. Aap hi aurat ka mazaak banayengi toh aapke ladke kya seekhenge?? Aur fir aise hi har Gali mein ladkiyon ka rape hota hain! Kyuki jo rape karte hain, unki aap jaisi maayein hoti hai. Jab aap hi ek aurat ki izzat nahi kar sakti toh apne bachon ko kaise sikhayengi." Ruhana says.

" Waise main chahti toh Mr Shergill ko keh sakti thi. Aur wo mere dost hone ke naate tumhe shayad Naukri se nikaal dete. Par main aisa nahi karungi kyu ki main meri beti ko ye nahi sikhana chahti ki jo pareshan kare uski complaint karke usey Naukri se nikala jaye. Majboori toh sabki hoti hai, apki Majboori main dekh sakti hoon. Umeed karti hoon, wo jo 2 bachiyan baithi hai, unki khilli aap nahi udayengi." Ruhana says, pointing on the bench outside Vineet's cabin where two young girls are sitting.

Saying so, Ruhana holds her daughter's hand and they move out of the office. The lady is shocked while Vineet is astonished to see the way Ruhana handled the matter. She's still the same. He looks at the lady.

"Ms Mehra, aapke khilaf complaints toh mere pas bahut hain. Wo toh maine aapke beton ka lihaaz kiya. Aur abhi jo Ms Ruhana ne kaha, I hope wo aap samajh gayi hain. Kyunki ek aur complaint aayi toh aapko job se nikaal diya jayega. Ye aapki last warning hai." Vineet orders the lady and moves to his cabin continuing the interviews.

Ruhana and Ruhaani go to a restaurant celebrating their achievement. They're new to this place, so near to the Shergill Industries, there's a mall, and some restaurants as well. They decided to munch over some Chinese food.

They settle on a corner table and order some starters. Ruhaani looks at her mom and smiles. She knows that her mom is happy.

"Mumma, aap khush ho na?" She asks her mom.

"Haan, meri Jaan. Jab tu mere sath hai toh main khush hi rahungi na.." Ruhana smiles at her daughter.

"Arey mumma, main nahi, with the job?" Ruhaani asks.

"Haan beta. Tu mere sath hai. Mujhe ye job mil gayi hai aur hum dono hai na ek duje ka dhyan rakhne ke liye. Aur kya chahiye mujhe." Ruhana pats her cheek.

Meanwhile, their order is served and they enjoy their meals with light chit-chats. Later, they go shopping and both the mother and daughter shop for each other. The duo is elated.

They reach home and it's almost 4 PM. They relax for a while and then Ruhaani makes coffee for her mother and herself. She finds her mother arranging the things in the cupboard. She sighs deeply and keeps the tray on the side table. She makes Ruhana sit on the bed.

Ruhaani hands over a coffee mug to her mom and then says something that leaves Ruhana touched.
