Ruhana reaches her office after dropping her daughter off at school. She enters the office and makes her way into her cabin. Vineet has not arrived yet. Ruhana sets her bag in the almirah attached to the drawer and opens up her laptop. She's happy about the decision that she has made. Yeah, it might affect her daughter, but she knows that both Vineet and Ruhana would be glad to learn about her decision.

Her lips curve into a small smile as she thinks of her daughter and Vineet. These two have been her support in the last 5 months. Ruhaani has been there since the very beginning, that is, from the point where she started to understand her mother and convey her feelings to her. On the other hand, Vineet has been her support ever since they've come across. He's the reason behind her decision and she knows that he only wants her good.

"Kis baat pe itna muskura rahi ho?" It's Vineet, who's voice bring her out of trance.

"Huh, tum kab aaye?" She asks, looking at him.

"Jab tum apni hi duniya mein khoyi thi. I am sure, tum Ruhaani ke baare mein soch rahi thi, hain na?" Vineet asks as he takes his seat opposite her.

"Of course, Vineet. Main apne aap se pehle meri beti ke baare mein hi sochungi na? Aur koi hai nahi jiske baare mein sochun!" She looks at him.

"Achaa! Bas beti hi yaad hai tumhe? Dost ko bhool gayi?" He glances at her annoyingly while she laughs.

"Arey baba, itna gussa? Tumhara gussa abhi tak naak pe baithta hai kya? College mein toh bahut jaldi gussa aata tha tumhe?" She asks, reminding him of their college days.

"Haan, toh ab jo dost bhool jaate hain, unpe gussa toh jatana padta hain." Vineet makes a face.

"Aww, that's sweet. Okay, toh thik hai, main tumhare baare mein bhi soch rahi thi." Ruhana smiles at her friend.

"Kya soch rahi ho tum? Aur haan, tum ne kya socha hai?" Vineet glances at her.

"Vineet, Maine wahi decide kiya hai jo tum chahte ho," Ruhana says, grinning at her friend.

"Really?" Vineet looks at her and his lips curve into a smile.

"Han, Vineet. Main London zaroor jaungi. Sirf isliye nahi ki tumne mujhse aisa karne ko kaha hai, par isliye ki meri beti bhi aisa hi chahti hai. Haan main darr rahi thi, infact, mujhe ab bhi darr lag raha hai kyunki main aur Ruhaani kabhi ek dusre se alag nahi rahe hain. Lekin main ye bhi jaanti hoon ki ye zaroori hai." She says while Vineet smiles, letting her continue.

"Meri Ruhaani ne hi mujhe motivate kiya tha ki main apna kaam phir se shuru karun. Isliye ye sirf uske liye hain, main chahti hoon ki mere baare mein baat karte waqt uski aankhon mein garv ho. Aur saath hi wo ye samjhe ki challenges toh aate hai, hume bas unhe paar karna padta hai." Ruhana says, there's a determination in her voice and eyes.

"That's perfect, Ruu. Tum jaanti ho, tumhare iss faisle se hum dono khush hain. I mean, jab tum Ruhaani ko ye bataogi toh vo bhi bahut khush hogi. Main aaj hi uss company ko response bhej deta hoon ki tum next week unhe join karogi." Vineet says, expressing his happiness.

"Itni jaldi kya hai?" Ruhana asks, she's in awe of his happiness.

"Mujhe bahut jaldi hain, Ruhana. Main ye project jaldi shuru karna chahta hoon. Tum chinta mat karo, maine maa se baat ki hain, Ruhaani mere ghar pe reh sakti hai." Vineet says, trying to assure a mother of her daughter's wellbeing.

"Vineet, uski zaroorat nahi hai. Ruhaani apni friend ke ghar pe reh legi. Aur tum toh jaante ho na, meri beti ab mera dhyan rakhne lagi hai, toh vo apna khayal toh ache se hi rakhegi." Ruhana says, praising her daughter.

"Jaanta hoon. Lekin main bhi toh uska buddy hoon. Toh vo mere sath rahegi. And that's final I hope you know who's the boss here?" Vineet commands and looks at her.

"Okay, Sir! As per your command, anything else?" Ruhana plays along and they head out of her cabin.

Vineet informs her of a project that needs to be checked out and she suggests to work on it together. They walk into his cabin and the manager keeps the files on the table and leaves. Vineet orders two coffee for them and the two get engaged in their work.

Some time passes away and their trance is broken by another voice. As they look up, they're left surprised to see the person in front of them.
