While waiting for his meeting with Tai Lin, Po decided to sit in the front of the gates and just look up at the sky. He didn't want to sit in his room since he was getting a bit tired and he didn't want to risk falling asleep. He didn't want to take out his action figures this late at night when his friends were sleeping, and he didn't have any further ideas to write down as far as group activities were concerned. So all in all, a quick stop in the barracks seemed like an unnecessary risk. 

The master yawned and listened to the guards pace outside of the gates in front of him. He couldn't tell if they were changing posts or just getting a closer look at something they saw, but they were definitely being active. The timer laid next to him on the step as he waited for his last potential girlfriend to show up, and soon the master decided to lay down to better see the stars. And he waited. And he waited.
