Chapter 8- The ghost (I promise I'm trying)

Ugh...really? Again? Wait....where am I?  I woke up in an all too familiar room. My room.

The walls remained baby blue and the sheets remained white as a ghost. Ghost...Oh yeah. Yesterday...

I started to get up but was stopped by a hand on my shoulder. Ty.

"Uh...hi?"

"You need rest Sky. Sleep" He ordered, pushing me back down on the bed.

"But I already slept. While I was passed out. I want to get up now Ty" I fake pouted, his serious expression remaining, but softening slightly.

"Sky...Why did you pass out anyway?" He asked, a concerned, worried tone making its way into his voice.

"I...I don't know. Must've been the shock of seeing that...thing" I muttered, looking down at the floor.

"Why'd it try to take you anyway?" I asked, confusion clearly displayed in my voice.

"Dunno...It seemed interested in you though" He replied, obviously trying to pin it on me.

"Shut up Ty. It tried to take you in the first place so don't pin this on me!" I replied with a giggle.

He smiled and stood up from the bed, walking over and taking my sunglasses from the desk. "Oh...I didn't even know they were off" I muttered, feeling where they should've been on my face. "Yeah. You dropped them when you passed out" He said, handing them to me and sitting back down on the bedside and staring sadly at his feet.

"Hey. Don't be like that. I'm Ok now. I promise, Ty just...don't feel bad" I cooed, scooting over and putting an arm round his shoulder and trying my best to comfort him. Hey, I'm still an orphan so I don't know how to comfort people alright.

"I-It's Ok...I'm just a little afraid that-" He didn't get to finish his sentence as the lights went out and I heard a faint 'Fuck!' come from Mitch and Jerome's room. "Why is it that shit happens and I never get to finish my senten-" Once again he was cut off by a horrible flash of lightning outside, soon followed by a clap of thunder.

Ty suddenly started shaking in fear and I hugged him. "Hey it's Ok. It's just a little thunder & lightning that's all" I cooed, trying to calm him. "It's. Not. Raining" He muttered, making my eyes widen and hold him tighter in my own fear. "Then what is going o-" Then I was cut off by a flash of light, this time in the room and me and Ty turned towards it, recoiling onto the bed in front of the sudden ball of light, holding each other like little children in fear.

"S-S-Sky? What is t-that?" Ty whispered, shaking in fear and clutching my shirt in fear and terror. The ball of light suddenly disappeared, leaving me and Ty looking at each other as confused as ever.

"What just happe-" And the I was cut off AGAIN by ANOTHER flash of light, followed by and eerie glow and the all too familiar ghost floating in the middle of the room. Ty and I stared in terror and fear, literally tied to our posts because of fear and shaking like leaves in the autumn wind. "T-T-T-Ty? I'm s-s-s-scared" I stammered, embarrassed that I even said that.

"M-Me t-t-too" He muttered back, equally as scared as me. The ghost just stared at the both of us, not even blinking, not moving. Just staring. That is until her gaze focused on me and she floated over, her expression changing from a stern, emotionless gaze to a mother-like concerned one. She reached out a hand, me just sitting there like a dumbass frozen in fear.

"A-A-A" She tried to say, choking on sobs while stroking my cheek with her cold, boney hand. Is she trying to say...my name?

"DON'T TOUCH HIM YOU BITCH!" Ty shouted, attacking the ghost and making me flinch at the sudden scream.

She released a horrifying, deathly scream that sounded like a cow dying in the worst way possible, before turning red and grabbing Ty by the throat and choking him. My adrenaline kicked in and I jumped on her, pulling at her long, silver hair and making her drop Ty on the bed. That's when Jason, Tyler, Mitch and Jerome burst into the room, letting the light from the hall fill the room. The ghost screamed again, flailing her hands around and hitting my leg before disappearing for a second time and leaving us all even MORE confused, scared and hurt.

"S-S-Sky?" Ty uttered, tears forming in his eyes. "Y-Y-Yeah?" I muttered back, equally as terrified. His eyes glanced down at my leg and I looked down, going pale at what I saw.

There was a long, deep cut in my leg, right were the ghost hit me. I felt  faint at the all too familiar sent of blood- It's kinda like a gone-off cinnamon bun dipped in a vial of acetone- but I stayed on my feet.

"Holy shit SKY!" The guys all said at once, pointing behind me. I turned around, just to see that the ghost returned. She was fully red now, and she was looking down on me.

"Oh fuck..." I muttered in fear. The ghost grabbed my hand with her cold boney fingers. "LET HIM GO NOW!" Was the last thing I heard, before I was teleported and knocked out.

Why...do...I...always...pass...out.....
