Sid was too happy. After a long time, he got some good news. Jai was a brother to him not by blood but definitely by heart. He always treated him like a younger brother.

He completed his whole work. He checked the invitation which SA sent him on WhatsApp. It was 3 weeks later. He immediately typed a leave application after 1 week.

He packed up his things and went to pick up Ash. She had a grumpy face.

Sid: Hi princess

She made a grumpy face and pouted.

Sid: Awwww my princess is angry

Ash: I isss you ittttttaaaaa shaaaaraaaa

She said opening her arms. Sid picked her up and kissed her forhead, cheeks and nose.

Sid: Papa also miss you so much baby but you need to come to school haina? Achha you know where we are going in a few days?

Ash: Where?

Sid opened the car door and made her sit inside. He put the seatbelt and double checked everything. He sat on his driver seat.

Ash: Where eeee oing papa? (Where we going papa?)

Sid: We are going to nani's house

Ash: Mamu?

Sid: Hnn you can meet mamu, chachu, chachi, Abhinav, bee, dadi and all

Ash: (excitedly) Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Sid chuckled at her excitement. They reached home and day was normal. At night Sid changed Ash's clothes and they were sitting on bed when Ash suddenly said.

Ash: Papa

Sid: Yes

Ash: Who is my mumma and ere is she?

Sid's heart skipped a beat. A lump came in his throat. His eyes became moist. He shut his eyes tightly. He took a deep breath. After a moment he smiled looking at her.

Sid:.....
