In the starlight

Under dark skies

There's no moonlight

In my tired eyes

On the night's shore

Do I see more

Of the great war

With no sunrise

Down in the ocean's quiet caves

Drowning in cold, lonely graves

There in the night

Dies the last pale moonlight

Beneath dark ocean waves

Where I wander, the moon never shines
