Anshuman sits besides her.

Anshuman - Kya hua? Tujhe sar dard ho raha hai? 😧

Preeta nodded in no.

Preeta - Mujhe kuch yaad aaya.. (he looks at her intently) mai aise hi swing pe baithi thi, koi ladka tha (she sighed) patah nahi kon tha, usne mujhe kuch diya phir achanak se sar chakra ne laga 🥺

Anshuman held her hand and gave a light squeeze.

Anshuman - Ab dimaag par itna bhi zor mat do, tujhe dheere dheere sab yaad aa jaayega 😌

Preeta entwined their fingers and he looked at their hands.

Preeta - I hope so 😅

Anshuman (in mind) - Nahi Anshuman apni feelings ko control mein rakh 😟 uska pati hai aur woh uske bacche ki maa bann ne wali thi.. (gulped) teri feelings unn dono ke bich nahi aani chahiye 🥺

Preeta - Kya hua tu achanak se chup kyu hogaya? 🤔 (teases him) saaf safai karke thak gaya kya 😏

Anshuman - Itna kamzor nahi hu ki thak jau, ku..kuch soch raha tha bass isliye chup tha

Preeta - Teri koi girlfriend ke baarein mein soch raha tha? 🤪

Anshuman (looks at her) - Kaash woh meri girlfriend hoti, use mai apna keh paata but she's already married 🥲

Preeta - Aw so sad 😂

He chuckled with her and left her hand.

Anshuman - Chal tu aaram kar mai office chalta hu 😌

Preeta - Mai bhi aaungi 😁

Anshuman - What? Tu aakar kya karegi?

Preeta - Mai aakar dekhungi ki tu apne employees ko kaise treat karta hai, agar buri tareeke se treat karta hai toh aunty se daant lagvaungi 😝

Anshuman - Koi zaroorat nahi hai aane ki 🙄

Preeta - Ansh please 😧

He couldn't deny to her cute face. She called him 'Ansh' and it made him go crazy. ✨

Anshuman - Thik hai 🥰

Preeta - Thanks mai ready ho kar aati hu 😌

She gave him a smile and ran inside the house.

Anshuman - Aaram se! Abhi 4 mahine pehle hi thik hui hai aur dekho bilkul khyaal nahi rakhti apna 🤦

Lata kept her hand on his shoulder making him turn to face her.

Lata - Sach sach batana mujhe Anshuman..

Anshuman - Kya dadi?

Lata - Tu pyaar karne laga hai na Preeta se 😟

Anshuman - N.. nahi dadi 😲

He winced as she held his ear and twisted it.

Lata - Sach bata 😕

Anshuman - Ha dadi (she left his ear) feelings hai mere dil mein Preeta ke liye lekin mai jaanta hu woh meri kabhi nahi ho sakti 🥺

Lata - Agar uska pati nahi mila toh tu usse..

Anshuman - Nahi dadi, uska pati ek na ek din zaroor use le kar jaayega, agar use thoda bhi kuch yaad hota toh hum uske pati ko dhundh sakte the par.. 🤔

Preeta - Anshuman.. (looks at Lata) dadi hum dono office jaa rahe hai

Lata - Thik hai.. sambhal kar jaana

They nods and walked towards the car.

Anshuman's office

Preeta was looking around feeling good.

Anshuman - Toh kaisi lagi meri office? 🤔

Preeta - Achhi hai

Anshuman held her hand and shows her his cabin.

Preeta - Matlab tu idhar baith kar sab par apni marzi chalata hai 😂

Anshuman - Mai yahan baith kar kaam karta hu 😒

He walked towards his table and made a call to bring some snacks for both of them along with tea.

Preeta sat on couch and picked up the newspaper.

Anshuman - Mai aata hu 😅

Preeta - Thik hai 😌

Flashback starts

Preeta was peacefully reading a novel.

Karan came inside the room and smirks looking at her engrossed in reading a book.

He went behind the bed and shouts loudly.

Karan - Bhoo! 😈

Preeta jumped on her seat and book flew from her hands landing on ground. 😂

Preeta (screeched) - Karan! 😡

Karan laughs loudly and picked up the book handing it over.

Preeta - Tum mujhe shaanti se padhne nahi doge na kuch bhi 🙄

Karan - No babydoll, tumhe irritate karna mujhe bada achha lagta hai, kitni darr gayi thi tum 😜

Preeta - Haste raho pet pakad kar, mai jaa rahi hu 😒

She stands up and was about to go when Karan pulled her closer by waist. ✨

Karan - Kaha jaa rahi ho? 😏

Preeta - Tumse dur jaha tum mujhe disturb na kar sako 😕

Karan pecked her cheek.

Karan - Mai jaane nahi dunga tumhe 😉

Preeta wriggled in his arms and his hold tightened on her waist.

Karan - Mrs. Luthra tum chaahe kitni bhi koshish karlo mujhse dur nahi jaa paaogi, humesha ye TKL tumhe aise hi apni bahon mein pakad kar rakhega 😍

Preeta - Achha Mr. Husband? ☺️

Karan - Yes Mrs. Wife 😌

He rested his forehead against hers and closed his eyes.

Flashback ends

Preeta gasped and held her head in pain.

Preeta - Kon hai woh ladka 🥺

She fisted her hands and closed her eyes. Anshuman came back and looked at her.

Anshuman - Kya hua Preeta? 😟

Preeta - Anshuman kuch thik nahi lag raha mujhe.. mera past kya hai? Meri koi family thi ya nahi? I.. I don't know.. aur.. aur woh ladka kon hai 😭

He held her in his embrace and she hugs him tightly feeling overwhelmed.

Anshuman - Tumhe jald hi sabkuch yaad aa jaayega Preeta don't worry about it 🥺

Preeta - I.. I feel lost, kuch yaad nahi aa raha mujhe 🥺

Anshuman - Shh.. rona band karo pehle 😧

He rubbed her back and she gulped back her tears.

Rishabh's office

Rishabh was waiting for Karan's arrival.

After he came back to LH, he got to know about Karan's deed. He felt guilty of leaving the house without revealing Sherlyn's true image just because he faced a heartbreak. 💔

Rishabh - Kaash maine usi din Sherlyn ki sacchai sabko bata di hoti aur usko police ke hawale kar diya hota toh aaj Preeta ji aur Karan saath mai hote 😟

Karan barged inside his cabin without seeking permission.

Karan - Rishabh.. kya patah chala Preeta ka? Bol na 🥺

Rishabh turned towards him and said.

Rishabh - Preeta ji abhi Pune mein hai

Karan - Pune? 😧

Rishabh nods.

Rishabh - Woh Goyal House mein reh rahi hai jo Pune mein hai, Goyal matlab Anshuman Goyal, he's also a businessman like me 🤔

Karan - Toh der kis baat ki Preeta ko le kar aata hu mein, mujhe address bhej de uske ghar ka 😧

Rishabh - Kya woh tere saath wapas Mumbai aayegi? 🧐

Karan - Woh nahi aayegi toh mai aur Pihu dono wahan shift ho jaayenge

Rishabh - Itna easy hai kya sabkuch chhod kar wahan shift ho jaana, Pihu ki school, tere matches 🙄

Karan - Meri Preeta se zyada important kuch bhi nahi hai.. kuch bhi nahi 🥺

Rishabh nods and sent the address on his mobile.

Rishabh - All the best 😅

Karan hugs him tightly.

Karan - Thanks Rishabh 😁

After a year he has seen full blown smile on Karan's face.

Rishabh (in mind) - Kitni bhi ladaai kyu na ho jaaye, Karan kabhi Preeta ji se nafrat nahi kar sakta, pyaar hi kuch aisa hai unn dono ke bich 😇

Karan - Pihu ko le kar jaata hu, woh Pihu ko dekh kar khush ho jaayegi, aur usko manane mein thodi help bhi ho jaayegi 😌

Karan grinned ear to ear after planning what he'll say to Preeta after meeting her.

Rishabh - Flight ki bookings bhi karvani hai 🧐

Karan - Arey haan 😲

He quickly took out his mobile and booked two seats.

Karan - 1.5 ghante mein Airport jaana hoga, bye bhai (hugs him tightly) thank you 🥺

Rishabh patted his cheek and wished him good luck.

He ran outside in hurry and called Rakhi.

Karan (on call) - Mom aap jaldi se Pihu aur meri packing kar do, hum Pune jaa rahe hai, mai aakar aapko sab batata hu 😁

He cuts the call and quickly drive to his house.

Rakhi - Preeta sach mein meri lucky charm hai, woh thi toh ghar mein khushiyan thi, meri puttar kaha hogi.. kaisi hogi 🥺

Mahesh - Aapki hi galti hai Rakhi ji, aapne Karan ko achhe se samjhaya hota toh itni galatfehmiyan na hoti sabko 😕

He came to know how everyone blamed Preeta for his accident, how badly she was treated while he was in coma and his family didn't even told him about this after he came out of coma, thanks to Sameer who spilled everything.

Mahesh - Ab mujhe ek ek cheez yaad hai, achha hua Sameer ne mujhe sab bataya warna toh unn dono ki pehli shaadi ka mujhe patah bhi nahi chalta, mai nahi tha par aap toh thi na Preeta ke saath (looks at Rakhi) aapne bhi use galat maan liya tha 😤

Rakhi looked down.

(I always felt that this convo was much needed in KDB too, makers shown too much drama of villains instead of showing us some meaningful conversation between other characters 🤷‍♀️)

Rakhi left to Karan's room feeling guilty. Mahesh looked at her and averted his gaze feeling angry.

After he got to know about everything, he called back Rishabh and with his help, exposed Sherlyn and Sonakshi.

Police caught Sonakshi who escaped earlier and they spilled their evil intentions and deeds in front of Luthra family.

Karan felt extremely guilty and left LH alongwith Pihu. After few days, Makhi 😂 also moved out and lived with them.

About Prithvi, no one knew where he is and what he is planning.

Rakhi opened the door to find Pihu doing her project without any help.

Pihu (mumbles) - Agle Sunday ko Mother's Day hai, sab apni mumma ke saath school ke event mein aayenge lekin mai? (sadly) Mumma kaha ho aap? 🥺

Rakhi wiped her tears and smiled.

Rakhi - Pihu, chalo meri help kardo bag pack karne mein 😅

Pihu - Dadi hum sab kahin jaa rahe hai?

Rakhi - Aap aur papa jaa rahe ho woh bhi Pune

Pihu - Pune? Kyu?

Rakhi - Woh toh Karan ne nahi kaha

Pihu (dramatically) - Papa bhi na🤦‍♀️ mumma sahi kehti thi, ek number ke Bajarbattu hai 🤣

Rakhi laughed joining her and packed the bags. Soon they heard, doorbell ringing.

Rakhi - Lagta hai aa gaya Karan 😌

Mahesh opened the door and looked at Karan who was panting heavily.

Karan - Dad 🤩

He hugged him tightly and told.

Karan - Preeta mil gayi 😍

Mahesh - Kya? 😲

Pihu - Papa hum Pune kyu jaa rahe hai?

Karan goes towards Pihu leaving his shocked father behind.

Karan - Pihu hum dono aapki mumma ko lene jaa rahe hai 😁

Rakhi - Preeta.. Pune mein hai? 🥺

Karan - Yes mom! Woh kisi Goyal House mein hai 🧐

Pihu - Mumma mil gayi 🤩

She jumped on Karan and he took her in his embrace and twirled her in air.

Pihu - Papa chalo jaldi se 😧

Karan - Ha (to Rakhi) mom, mai aur Pihu jaa rahe hai, flight hai humari, aap bass apni bahu ke swagat ki tayyari kijiye 😅

Rakhi - Sambhal kar jaana

Pihu - Yes dadii 😌

They both left towards airport.

Mahesh - Lekin Preeta ne yaha aane se mana kar diya toh? Hum bhi chalte hai, meri beti meri baat zaroor maanegi 😧

Rakhi - Aap fikar mat kijiye Mahesh ji, Karan aur Pihu gaye hai na sab thik hoga 😌

Mahesh nods.

Anshuman's office

Anshuman looked at her by averting his gaze from laptop.

She was munching on sandwich 🥪 while watching a series on tablet connected with airpods.

Anshuman (in mind) - Iski family kaha hogi? Preeta ki ek behen hai lekin uska koi contact bhi nahi hai mere paas (sighs) I should do something 🧐

He dialed a number.

Anshuman (on call) - Hi Swati..

Swati (on call) - Ansh.. I.. I mean Anshuman? 😳

Anshuman - Ha.. kaisi ho?

Swati - Achhi hu

Anshuman - Can you do me a favour?

Swati - Ha bolo na

Anshuman - Tumhe yaad hai, humari school friend.. Preeta Arora

Swati - Ofcourse yaad hai mujhe

Anshuman - Uski family ka koi contact hai kya tumhare paas? Uski behen ka? Uske father ka?

Swati - Tujhe nahi patah kya? Raghuveer uncle is no more (Anshuman 😲) Preeta ki shaadi hone wali thi lekin tut gayi and after that woh dono Mumbai shift hogaye 🤨

Anshuman - What?

Swati - Ha, mere paas Preeta aur Shrishti ka dono ka number hai, mai bhejti hu 😌

Anshuman - Thanks.. Thank you very much 😧

Swati - Welcome 😁

He cuts the call and sighed heavily. Suddenly, his phone vibrates showing Swati's messages.

He thanked her again and dial to Shrishti.

Anshuman (on call) - Hello?

Shrishti (on call) - Hello.. aap?

Anshuman - Hi, I am Anshuman Goyal, Preeta ka school friend 😅

Shrishti - Dii.. (her eyes welled up) ji kahiye

Anshuman - Tum Shrishti Arora ho na.. Preeta ki behen?

Shrishti - Yes.

Anshuman - Thank God! (he happily stood up) actually Preeta abhi mere saath hai (Shrishti 😳) mai baat karvata hu 😁

He walked towards Preeta.

Shrishti (to Sameer) - Sammy! Jaldi se yaha aao 😭

Sameer - Kya hua tum ro kyu rahi ho? 😧

Shrishti - Sammy, dii ka patah chal gaya (points at her mobile) dii ke dost ka call hai aur dii uske saath hai abhi 🥺

Sameer - Jaldi se phone speaker pe karo 😧

Shrishti - Ha (puts the call on speaker) hello!

Anshuman puts the call on speaker.

Anshuman - Preeta baat karo..

Preeta - Kon hai? 🤨

Shrishti bursts into tears and hugs Sameer happily after listening to her sister's voice.

Anshuman - Teri behen Shrishti

Preeta - Meri behen? 😲

Preeta looked confused and Anshuman nods in confirmation.

Shrishti - Dii.. mai Shrishti aapki jhalli.. kahan ho aap? Hum sab aapko ek saal se dhundh rahe hai, aap address batao mai aur Sameer abhi aapko lene aate hai 🥺

Preeta - Shrishti.. m..mai Pune mein hu (looks at Anshuman) I..I

Anshuman cuts in to help her.

Anshuman - Shrishti tum fikar mat karo, Preeta mere saath hai, she's safe, she met with an accident a year ago

Shrishti - Accident? 😟

Anshuman - Ha and she lost her memories, use kuch yaad nahi, khudka naam bhi patah nahi tha isko ☹️

Shrishti - Toh meri dii mujhe hi bhul gayi 🥺💔

Anshuman - Ha, but don't worry, mai use Mumbai le kar aata hu, tum apna address bhejo 😌

Shrishti - Ji, mujhe dii se baat karni hai 🥺

He handed his mobile to Preeta.

Preeta - Shrishti 😟

Anshuman went back to his chair and continued doing his work.

Both sisters talked for a while. Preeta got to know about her mother and father but Shrishti didn't mentioned anything about Luthras as they are not on good terms ofc.

Preeta - Ansh

He stood up and she engulfed him into a hug.

Preeta - Thank you! 🥺

Anshuman - Dost hu tera, ye thanks apne paas rakh (broke the hug) aur ha teri dusri dost.. Swati usse bhi baat karle 😌

Preeta - Swati?

Anshuman - Ohho 🤦 I hate it, tune apni memories kyu kho di 🙄

Preeta (hits him) - Mai jaanbujhakar thodi na sab bhuli hu, pagal 😤

Anshuman - Mai, tu aur Swati, hum teeno bohot achhe childhood friends the, ek hi school mein padhe hai, 9th ke baad mai aur meri family US shift hogaye and we lost contact 😅

Preeta - We were a trio? 😧

Anshuman - Yes, sab ladkiyaan tum dono se jalti thi, kyuki I used to hangout with you guys leaving them, pagal thi woh log mujhse dosti karne ke liye 😏

Preeta laughed making him frown.

Preeta - Tujhse dosti karne ke liye pagal thi (laughs) what a joke! 🤣

Anshuman - Nahi vishwas ho raha na? Swati se puchh le ☹️

He video called Swati and she picked up instantly. Whole story of Preeta losing her memory was repeated infront of her. 😪

Swati - Jhootha, sab ladkiyaan tere pichhe nahi balki woh Sunny ke pichhe thi jo tera dost tha isliye tere via apni setting karvana chahti thi, idiot 😜

Preeta chuckles and Anshuman looked away.

Swati - Pagal toh mai thi tere liye..

Both looked at her and she stopped.

Anshuman - Matlab.. 😳

Swati - Pagal toh mai aur Preeta the jo tere saath hangout karte the warna koi bhaav bhi nahi deta tujhe 🙄

Girlies talked for an hour.

Anshuman (in mind) - Dekho toh dono kaise baatein kar rahi hai, isko dekh ke lagta nahi ki iski memories chali gayi hai 😕
