"I know that I've done cruel things and hid who I really was from you but please believe me when I tell you that I'm in love with you." He sighs when she remains silent, so he turns her around to face him. "...I never took it off."

He reaches inside his shirt and Hana's tearful eyes widened by what he pulls out... A chain with his promise ring on it.

"I meant every word that I said when I made that promise." He then takes his dove necklace and her pronise ring out of his pants pocket. "And do you remember what this necklace means to me? Don't you know how precious it is to me? Didn't you realize what it meant when I gave it to you?" He then takes the detonator out of her hand and replaces it with the necklace and her promise ring. "You not wearing the necklace just made me even more worried. You kept being reckless and putting yourself in danger. So if... If you can accept everything that I've just told you, then put these back on. I know it's selfish of me to ask you this but I want you to believe that my love for you has always been real."

"Why... Why did you never just tell me the truth?" She asks, her voice cracking and tears falling down her face.

"...Listen to the tape, Hana." He answers.

"...You... You're..." Her eyes widened when she realizes that he's her secret admirer. "It was you?"

He nods and gently cups her face in his hands, wiping her tears away with his thumbs.

"The tape will explain everything. I thought you would have already listened to it before all this started but I was able to tell that you hadn't. Once you listen to it, you'll understand what I always wanted to tell during our time together." He explains before laying a gentle kiss on her forehead. "If you'll still have me, I promise that I'll tell you everything that you want to know. I don't want to make you suffer anymore because of my mistakes... We have to go back now but when you get the chance just listen to it."

He then takes her hand in his and together they walk out of the infirmary.

"What are you talking about? You have orders to kill Hana?" Chung-ya questions Gyeok-chan with a shocked look.

"Because the 300 million dollars originally belongs to her. To make sure things go well with the deal, my superior wants her out of the way. But Comrade Kang... No matter how loyal I am to our country and cause... I can't kill her."

"But what does she have to do with the money-"

"Nam Tae-il had a younger brother...who is Hana's biological father." He informs, surprising the older woman. "Who do you think the money belonged to before it went to her?"

As Soo-ho and Hana return to the cafeteria, he walks her over to her roommates and she sits with them. He then takes a few more steps over to Kang Moo who's face is soaking wet.

"...What happened to Mr. Lee?" Hana asks as she glances at the older man.

"He pissed off Ms. Pi or something." Hye Ryung answers as takes the younger girl's face in her hands. "What happened? Have you been crying? What did he do?"

"He... He didn't do anything." Hana murmurs sadly before looking back at Soo-ho who leaves with Kang Moo.

Soo-ho pushes Kang Moo into one of the rooms before punching him.

"I warned you not to do anything stupid and that I'd not let it slide again." Soo-ho speaks in a low tone, but the anger is clear in his voice.

Kang Moo looks up at him with a look of disbelief before sitting up from the bed he just landed on.

"What did I do?"

"How else did Hana find out about the detonator I had?"

Kang Moo sighs and stands up. "I just tried to stop her from escaping. I told her about the detonator in your pocket to stop her from acting rashly! Shouldn't you ask me why before hitting me?"

Soo-ho then takes a chair near him and tells the older man to take a seat. After Kang Moo does as he says, Soo-ho turns away and ponders for a moment.

"...You say they'll kill everyone here including you and me in nine days?" Soo-ho questions, looking back at the older man. "If you're trying to make me surrender, you should stop here."

"Surrender? You think they'll accept your surrender? They even play with citizens' lives to maintain their power. I can't let those bastards have their way. Is that so hard to understand?" Kang says with frustration in his voice and scoots the chair closer to Soo-ho. "The party considers the people its children. They'd never abandoned you? You really think so? A huge sum of money must be at stake in this joint scheme. You think your party will give up the money to save three spies? You really believe that?"

Soo-ho doesn't answer, ignoring the self-doubt he's been feeling and just looks down at the man with an annoyed look.

"You think you're safe since you have the secretary general and the ANSP director's daughters? Wake up. I bet they'll try everything they can to get them out of here before the election."

Soo-ho sits down on the bed and says, "Bring me proof that what you say is true."

"Proof? Tied up like this?" Kang Moo asks with a look of disbelief.

"Your subordinate will come back in later. Tell me to bring me proof that I can trust. Hard evidence that our countries are scheming to kill us all."

"But if she brings it, will you destroy that detonator and work with me? Are you willing to work with us to get out of here alive?"

"From now on, thirty of you are to be released will get out of the dorm with the ANSP agent." Soo-ho informs everyone.

After Hanna and him leave with the chosen hostages, Young Ro sits next to Hana who sits alone by one of the pillars.

"Hanny... Did something happen with Soo-ho?" Young Ro asks in a concerned tone.

"Well... We're supposed to leave in nine days. The reason the soldiers haven't broken in yet is because the higher ups don't want us leaving yet. This situation is helping them get more votes for the election." Hana explains avoiding her twin's shocked look.

"That's... So that's why appa hasn't..." Young Ro blinks to hold back her tears and holds her twin's hand. "Don't worry, Hanny. We'll figure something out."

Hana continues not to look at Young Ro, confusing her. 

"Roro... Soo-ho told me that he loves me." Hana says, shocking Young Ro once more. "And this whole time, my secret admirer was him." She then takes out the necklace and ring out of her pocket. "He said that he'll wait for my answer... What am I supposed to do now? I've been trying to let him go but my heart keeps doing the opposite. So what should I do?"

Young Ro sighs and pulls her into a hug. Over Hana's shoulder she sees Hye Ryung watching them with a concerned expression.

While Eung Cheol and Gyeok-chan aren't looking, Young Ro goes over to talk to Kang Moo. To distract herself from other thoughs, Hana is looking at the bracelet Soo-ho gave her.

"I've never seen this bracelet before... But why does it look so familiar?" She mumbles.

"Lim Soo-ho is... How should I put it? I know this since I used to live with him. I didn't get any killer or spy vibes from him at all. Rather, he was quite sweet. And I thought he was quite thoughtful." Gwang Tae tells everyone gathered near him.

"He released thirty, and you're his fan now?" Byung Tae asks in an annoyed tone.

"This is your fault, Gwang Tae. You suggested the blind date." Hye Ryung also speaks in an annoyed tone.

"Come on, you can't blame him for that. I mean he also didn't know that Soo-ho was a spy when he was setting us up on the blind date." Seol Hui defends him.

"Jeez. Why are you taking his side? Do you like him?" Hye Ryung asks with an amused look.

When she doesn't receive an answer, everyone's eyes widened.

"Don't tell me..."

Suddenly Gwang Tae grabs both Seol Hui's hands, pulling her closer to him.

"Yes, you're right, Hye Ryung. When I saw Seol Hui at open house, she struck my heart like it was destiny. She is my muse and sun." He then kneels in front of her. "Seol Hui... Will you marry-"

Suddenly Hana comes between them and smacks his hands making him let go of Seol Hui.

"She struck your heart? That's a lie because the only cupids around her are her roommates and none of us aimed for you. Do you honestly believe I would allow you to be with my Gemmy?" 

"Hana. What did I do so wrong for you to not like me?!" Gwang Tae whines.

"You sly bastard. You're just after Seol Hui's money." Byung Tae answers, backing Hana up.

"Exactly. You set up the blind date to meet with Hye Ryung because you knew she's a popular singer with the goal of becoming one the greatest opera singers." Hana states making Hye Ryung give a proud smile. 

"That is not-"

"And did you not snitch on Soo-ho to the cops for money? And while you wanted Hye Ryung now you're switching to Seol Hui so suddenly? I see what it is. It's all about the money."

"I don't-"

"I won't let you have her! I rather she date..." Hana gasps and suddenly stands up. She grabs Seol Hui's hand and makes her get up as well. "Come with me!"

Hana pulls her over to Eung Cheol and has her stand beside him.

"What are you up to now?" Eung Cheol asks Hana with a raised eyebrow.

"Shh!" Hana looks back and forth between the two, stroking her chin. "My, my... Never did I think..."

Seol Hui's eyes widened and she smacks her best friend's arm.

"Hanny, have you lost your mind?! Get those thoughts out of your head!" Seol Hui shrieks before running back over to the others.

"Hey, Eung Cheol... What's your type?" Hana asks with a mischievous smile.

"What... Are you asking me about my love life?" He asks with a look of disbelief and she nods with a smile. "YAH! Do you honestly think I need your help getting a woman?!"

"...Do you really want me to answer that question?" Hana asks still mischievously smiling and is suddenly pulled away by Hye Ryung. "Hey! We were talking about something very important!"

Hye Ryung forces Hana to sit aside from everyone, leaving the two alone to talk privately.

"What's going on? You were just looking sad and being very quiet until Young Ro managed to get something out of you. You're putting your attention on others so that you don't have to focus on your own problems. What did Soo-ho do to upset-"

"He's in love with me." Hana blurts out making her best friend just stare at her.

"...What?" Hye Ryung asks after a moment.

"Soo-ho confessed that he loves me and...I don't think he's lying or at least that's what I want to believe. He's also my secret admirer... Who would have thought? This whole time it was him... I know that I was already supposed to let him go but..."

Hye Ryung continues to remain silent as she ponders. After a bit she finally speaks up.

"Hey! Can she go to the bathroom?" Hye Ryung calls out to Gyeok-chan before looking back at Hana. "Go wash your face, alright?"

"Huh? But-"

"Go on."

The two girls stand up and as Gyeok-chan comes over to them. He gently grabs Hana's elbow, and they head out of the cafeteria.

"We've got to get out of here." Hye Ryung mutters with an anxious look.

While Hana is in the bathroom washing her face, Gyeok-chan is in one of the rooms across from it, checking on the guns and such. Just as she finishes up and is about to head out, she jumps when she sees Sang Beom standing in front of the door.

"Hana!" He giggles and walks towards her but stops when she takes a few steps back. "Is something wrong? Ah! Is it about that time I called you a wench? You know that I didn't mean it!"

"Are you serious? You tried to put the blame on me when you got caught!" She snaps at him.

"That was only because I knew they wouldn't hurt you. Who could ever hurt you?" He says with an innocent smile. "But onto more important matters. Do you know where the money bag is?"

"How would I know? Now if you'll excuse me-" She walks quickly hoping to get past him, but he stands in her way.

"Hana. With that money I can take care of you and give you the future that you so entirely deserve." He tells her while holding her chin and strokes her lip with his thumb. "Haven't you realized it? I've wanted to be with you for so a long time now."

"Don't touch me!" She pushes him away and glares at him. "Do you want to get in trouble again? If you don't, I suggest you let me leave."

"Hana." He suddenly grabs onto her shoulders, pushing her back onto the wall. "I just want us to be together. Why can't you see that?" He asks with pleading eyes.

"GYEOK-CHAN!" She screams and stomps on his foot, giving her the opportunity to run towards the door.

"Shit! What was that for?!" He groans holding onto his foot before attempting to go after her.

Suddenly the door is slammed open and the two look up to see a furious Gyeok-chan. She lets out a breath of relief and hurries over to him, hiding behind him. Gyeok-chan begins slowly walking towards Sang Beom.

"Don't you come near me!" Sang Beom yells and goes to punch him but Gyeok-chan just dodges it and kicks him. Sang Beom groans and attempts another punch. "You're dead meat!"

Gyeok-chan dodges it again and slams Sang Beom's head against one of the stall doors. This makes Sang Beom drop to his knees groaning in pain again but also making him grab onto Gyeok-chan's collar.

"Did you forget what happened the last time? Did I not give you a proper lesson?" Gyeok-chan asks and gives him a few more punches.

"I'm sorry! Please don't kill me! I yield!" Sang Beom pleads.

Gyeok-chan looks up at Hana and she nods. He sighs and forces the pathetic man to stand up and begins pushing him towards the door. Gyeok-chan tells her to wait there and he will be back. After they leave, she looks down at the floor when she notices a necklace and goes over to pick it up. After a moment, her eyes widened.

"This is... Why does he have..." She mumbles and quickly takes out the bracelet. "That's why it looked so familiar..."

"I wanted to repay a debt from a long time ago. To someone who saved my life." Gyeok-chan voices in her thoughts.

"Take it. I'm returning it to its rightful owner." Soo-ho voices.

"I can at least give you something about your father... He was a good man who saved a lot of people." Hee Tae voices.

"...It can't be..."

"What are you doing here?!" Tae-il yells at Seong-sim who is walking towards him.

"What am I doing here? Honey, you haven't kept me updated to what's been going on! Was the hostage situation really planned together by the North and South?!"

"Who told you that?!" He yells, getting up from his seat.

"So it's true?!" She gasps. "Honey! You're not really going to kill those girls in there are you? Hana is in there!"

"I'm going to get her out of there! What do you think I have been doing?!" He yells, slamming his hand against the table.

"How would I know?! You've barely told me a thing!"

"You wonder why I haven't told you anything?" He sighs and walks over to her, looking down at her with a blank stare. "Because you didn't tell me that she knows."

"...Knows what?" She asks nervously.

"That she knows... ABOUT THE ADOPTION!" He screams and throws a stack of papers into the air, shocking her. "Hee Tae told me everything!"

"Honey... I... I was going to handle it! I-"

"How? How were you going to do that? Huh? Because once I get her out of there, not only do I have to worry about her finding out everything, I have to also get everyone to keep their mouths shut about our daughter's relationship with Lim Soo-ho!" He screams once more and throws more papers. 

"What?! The man that our daughter was seeing was the spy?!" She screams and suddenly passes out.

After coming up with a plan with Kang Moo, Young Ro informs Hye Ryung.

"Do not tell Hana about any of this." Hye Ryung says.

"What?" Young Ro says with a shocked expression. "But unnie-"

"Young Ro, how do you think she will react if we tell her that Chung-ya is also a North Korean spy? I can't bear to see her get hurt again by someone she trusted. And if we tell her about the plan, she might not be able to go through with it. It's not that she hates lying but you can tell her heart is wavering. She won't be able to deceive Soo-ho after what he told her. If she ends up hating me then so be it. If that keeps her alive, I won't care." Hye Ryung says with in a stern tone.

Young Ro looks at her, conflicted on what to do...

Gyeok-chan returns to the bathroom and makes his way towards Hana.

"Hana, are you alright? " He asks and she slowly turns around to face him.

"...Gyeok-chan. Why do you have my uncle's necklace?" She asks, holding the necklace on the palm of her hand.

He sighs at his carelessness of losing the necklace once more. He realizes it likely came off when Sang Beom grabbed his collar.

"Why do you have this? This belonged to my uncle so why do you have it?" She continues to question him in a shaky voice. "You told me the reason why you approached me is because you wanted to repay a debt to someone who saved your life a long time ago... Was that person Ho Il-sung?"

"...Yes." He answers quietly.

She sheds a tear and looks down at the necklace. "All this time... Do you remember that day we met again? When you gave me my umbrella and managed to cheer me up a bit? I told you that my parents were one of the reasons why I was having a bad day that day. I found out that I was adopted." His eyes widened not realizing she already knew. "Was Uncle Il-sung my appa this whole time?"

"...Nam Il-sung."

"What?" She looks at him with a confused expression.

"His surname isn't Ho... The truth is Nam Tae-il is actually your uncle. Il-sung was his younger brother."

Sorry for the wait but I had to take a break! We're in episode nine now!

Soo-ho never took the promise ring off... This man stayed loyal. What do you think about everything he said to Hana? She'll finally be listening to that tape very soon!

Ooh! We're learned something new! Gyeok-chan's orders to kill Hana are becoming a bit clearer. So you know in the show that they had this 300 million dollar deal going on and I wanted to connect Hana to it somehow. So basically all that money originally belonged to Il-sung and since he's gone, it passed down to Hana. But she doesn't know that... Wonder why, Tae-il and Seong-sim?

Seol Hui and Eung Cheol? What do you think? Should Hana put her matchmaking skills to use again?

The others are planning and keeping Hana out of it for her safety. Wonder how that is going to go...

Hana now knows who her biological father is! Quite a shocker for her to learn the man she visited all those years turned out to be her real dad and Tae-il was actually her uncle. We're finally going to learn more about Il-sung's connections to Gyeok-chan and Soo-ho in the upcoming chapters!
