"Eun Chang-su has offered to help us flee to another country safely." Soo-ho informs his comrades. "What do you guys think?"

"Are you insane? How can we trust him?" Gyeok-chan snaps.

"We can't. We shouldn't trust him, but we can use this offer to our advantage. Young Ro will be coming with us to make sure that her father doesn't try anything. The election is in five days. If we stay here like this, in five days...we'll all die." Soo-ho explains. "If you guys decide to stay here, I will too. But...if you think your family will be safe if you die here, you're mistaken."

Eung Cheol sighs. "We must live to find a way to save our families. I will do as you say, Comrade Lim."

Soo-ho smiles and pats his arm before turning to Gyeok-chan.

"...I see nothing wrong with staying a few more days." He replies with a shrug.

It takes a moment for Soo-ho to realize his wanting to continue staying and glares at his comrade. He then walks over and kicks the chair that Gyeok-chan is sitting in, causing the man to fall on the floor.

"What the hell?!" Gyeok-chan yells.

"Eomma. Can I ask you a question?" Seung Hee turns to her daughter and nods. "Why did you put up with Bun Ok for so long? You knew what she was like and always let her off the hook whenever she was in the wrong..."

"...Because I was once best friends with her sister. Her name was Yeon Ok." Seung Hee answers, shocking Hana. "Before I met your father, I was in a relationship with another man. He was my first love, and I was going to marry him... Until I found out he had been sleeping with Yeon Ok... They both ruined everything. I told them to never appear in front of me again. I found him so pathetic when he begged for me not to leave him. As for her...she didn't say anything. As if she didn't know what to say or she just didn't care."

Hana sniffles and grabs a tissue.

"After that, I spent more time focusing on schoolwork and taking care of others, anything to avoid the pain they inflicted on it. But when I met Il-sung... He was the one who healed my broken heart. He put the pieces back together like it was nothing. Yet the day when he died is when I reunited with Yeon Ok. It was before I returned to our home. Even though I was upset with your father, I went out to buy more butterscotch anyway and I bumped into her on my way home."

Flashback

On her way back home, Seung Hee stops when she hears someone call out to her.

"Seung Hee?" She turns around and her eyes widened upon seeing her ex-best friend. "It really is you! It's been so long since I last seen you."

Seung Hee doesn't respond and looks at her with an emotionless expression. As she attempts to leave, Yeon Ok speaks up again.

"I started working for the ANSP. Never did I expect for my boss to be your husband. I heard that you guys also had a baby. I'm glad-"

"What are you doing?" Seung Hee asks, raising an eyebrow. "Did you forget what happened back then? Did you forget what I told you?"

"Seung Hee. It's been a few years since then. Can't we move one from that and start over?"

"Why would I do that? So you could try to steal my husband this time? Did things not work out with my ex-fiancé since you wanted him so much?" Seung Hee questions as she crosses her arms.

Yeon Ok clenches her fist and takes a deep breathe. "I should apologize, shouldn't-"

"If you were really sorry, you would have acted like you didn't see me and kept walking. When I told you to never appear before me again, I meant that. But I can see it now. You weren't sorry back then and you're still not sorry now... Now I need to be going. Let this be the last time we see each other. I really don't want to be bothered by you again." Seung Hee gives her a nod before leaving.

Yeon Ok watches her go as she scoffs. Unaware to both women, a grinning Gyeong-hui was watching them.

End of Flashback

"After I was taken by the ANSP, it was believed that she had some kind of intel on them, and I was forced to frame her for being a spy. Ahn Gyeong-hui tortured her and drove her...to suicide. And that...is the reason I took Bun Ok in. Despite how badly things ended between us, I felt I owed it to her to at least take care of her younger sister."

"You didn't deserve to go through any of that, eomma! How could they betray like that? How could that butthead keep punishing you? Why do you have to keep suffering like this?!" Hana blubbers until she takes out all the butterscotch in her pockets and places them in front of her mother. "Here! Take all of them! It'll make you feel better!"

"You silly girl. What do I need those for?" Seung Hee says, rolling her eyes.

"Then you want a hug?! Okay!"

Hana quickly gets up from her seat, hurrying around the desk to give her mother a hug. Seung Hee rolls her eyes once more but doesn't hide the small smile on her face.

After leaving her mother's office, Hana hears something from outside. She goes over to the blocked entrance and her eyes widened as she looks outside as she sees agents coming towards the school.

"What are you doing? It's dangerous." Soo-ho comes up to her, pulling her away from the entrance.

"I thought our plan worked! Why are they coming here?! And there are no cameras nor parents! There's no sign of them because Young Ro's dad hasn't shown up, right?! Your butthead ex-mom wants you to blow up the dorm by midnight and she'll spare your sister! What are we gonna do?!" She blabbers until Soo-ho interrupts her.

"Hana, you don't need to worry. My sister..."

He stops as he hears footsteps and slowly turns around. The couple get a surprise as they see Chung-ya coming up the stairs.

"Aunt Chung-ya!"

Chung-ya walks over to the couple and gives Soo-ho a serious look. "What time is it?"

An ANSP agent returns to the tent and hurries over to Tae-il.

"Sir." The agent leans down to whisper something in Tae-il's ear that makes the older man's eyes widened.

Just as Gyeong-hui returns to the tent, Tae-il's eyes flash with anger. He abruptly gets up making his seat fall back, startling everyone. He marches towards Gyeong-hui and roughly grabs him by his collar.

"Sir! Why are you-"

"You sent agents out there?! You're planning to bomb it?! I even found out that you put Il-sung's wife in charge of the dorm! Hana knows that truth about everything now!" Tae-il shouts and then throws a punch at the man making him fall to the ground. "You've been plotting behind my back this entire time, haven't you?! Are you trying to get more brownie points with the president?! Trying to get another promotion?! Are you willing to sacrifice my child for that?! Yah! You must've really wanted my downfall!" Tae-il then turns to the other agents in the room. "Yah! Call those morons back here!"

"Ignore that order!" Gyeong-hui yells as he gets up. "Nam Tae-il... Didn't you kill your brother for his position and to take his money? Also, Hana isn't your daughter. Have you forgotten? She was just supposed to be a money bag."

"You son a bit-"

Just as Tae-il is about to throw another punch, Gyeong-hui kicks his knees, forcing him to kneel. Then he feels something cold against his head and when he looks up, his eyes widened to see Gyeong-hui pointing a gun at him.

"Should I do it like you'd do it? Shoot you to death right here and frame the Northern spies for it? Or should I just pin the blame on Pi Seung Hee? Then your precious Hana will lose her mother just like how you took her father from her... Or should I make things easier for all of us and have Hana killed?" Gyeong-hui threatens making Tae-il freeze and he chuckles seeing the man's fearful expression. "You really did end up caring for that girl. She was just supposed to be the means to the money and yet somehow, she has become your downfall... You've been stalling for too long; we should get this done quickly. The dorm will be blown up tonight and everyone in there will go with it. I'll be kind enough to do you one last favor, so you won't have to witness Hana's death. What's more important is that we still have the money."

"Honey." Everyone is surprised by the voice they hear and look towards a walkie talkie. "It's me Chung-ya. You're listening, right?"

"Chung-ya?" Tae-il mumbles with a confused expression.

"I took a secret Swiss bank account that has 300 million in it. The money that you stole from your brother. I came back to the dorm with it. The money is back to its rightful owners now. So if you blow up the dorm, this money will be gone too. Well, if you don't care, go ahead and press the denotator... We promised to go to the Maldives for vacation. I'm sorry I can't go. Honey, I love you. Oh? Did you want to say something, Hana?"

"You shouldn't be with someone if you're not going to stay with that person. You should be ashamed of yourself, you butthead!"

After she hangs up, the tent is filled with silence.

"...DAMN IT!" Gyeong-hui hollers and kicks one of the tables.

Tae-il suddenly starts to laugh making Gyeong-hui glare at the man. And before Tae-il knows it, everything blacks out.

"Thank you!" Hana smiles as she passes the walkie talkie back to Chung-ya.

"Here." Chung-ya goes over to her bag and takes out a bag of butterscotch candy. "Got you this."

Hana squeals and happily accepts the candy. "You're making up for it!"

Chung-ya laughs and turns to Soo-ho with a smile. "I also have something for you."

He watches her head back to the stairs with a curious look.

"You can come up now." Chung-ya says.

A mysterious person comes up the stairs making Hana curious to who the young woman is however it shocks Soo-ho...

"...Soo-hui?" Soo-ho murmurs as his eyes glisten with tears.

Soo-ho's younger sister gives him a tearful smile and runs over to him, giving him a hug.

Sorry I meant to have this up sooner, but I was trying to decide whether or not this split it up into parts then I had remembered I was planning to Soo-hui to make her arrival, so I ended with a cliffhanger! Plus, I had to cut a lot of stuff out with the ANSP scene and change some things. Next chapter will wrap up this episode!

Weren't expecting Soo-hui to show up, huh? You'll get an explanation in the next chapter! Soo-hui, Hana and Young Ro... Hehe, Soo-ho won't be ready!

We really didn't know Yeon Ok as a character, so I changed up Seung Hee and her backstory a little bit. What did you think?
