Her eyes fell on the piles of clothes lying on bed. She looks so confused as she stares the clothes scattered around the bed.

Having no idea what she wear for a wedding function. The whole family were going to attend Prakash friend son wedding in the evening.

They were currently in Delhi and staying with malthore for a week. Like as said she did go back to navy and returned back home after a month due to health and some personal reasons.

Her snaps at the door where she found Nandini walking in with her hand secured around her stomach.

Nandini : oh my gosh! What have done to this room? I will faint seeing this.

Avni rolls her eyes and stood up moving towards Nandini.

Avni : what are you doing? I thought you were not allowed to leave your bed. Should I complain to Bhai?

Nandini : your Bhai can go to hell. This is all because of him. He can have all the fun while I have to rest at home and eat a lot becoming more fat. Look at my stomach.

Avni chuckles placing a hand on Nandini's stomach.

Avni : you can't disagree. You love this feeling.

Nandini looks up and nodded her head.

Nandini : I absolutely love it. Soon you will be experiencing the same feeling as me. It's truly bliss entering into motherhood.

Her eyes fell on her stomach and removing her hand from Nandini's stomach, she placed it her owns smiling to herself.

She looks up and saw Nandini smiling.

Nandini : when are you planning to tell the family? Especially my brother?

Her eyes gazed up on stomach as she recalled how she found she was pregnant. She was on duty when she felt nauseous every day and night. It was getting very difficult for her to work and from that moment she spoke to her team and got leave in emergency.

She called Prakash and told him about her return. Prakash didn't question her and picked her up next day and brought her room.

Avni then took pregnancy test and wanted to be sure so she went to doctor and got checked.

She was shocked when she found being pregnant. Her happiness had no boundaries, her hand automatically wrapped around her stomach as she felt a soul of hers and Neil's growing inside her stomach.

Her eyes welled up as she caressed her stomach gently.

She hasn't told the family even though, they have noticed changes in her especially the ladies.  She was hoping to surprise Neil with the pregnancy news then family.

She hasn't spoken to Neil after the day when they met before she went to navy as a promised made by each other. She really wanted to see him and give him the good news. She knows he is on mission and hadn't been contacting the family either.

Snapping out of her thoughts, she looks at Nandini who went around the bed finding a saree for her to wear for the function.

Nandini : this would be perfect. I like this one. It will suit you.

Avni smiles holding the saree and thanking her went to washroom to change while Nandini tidy up the room.

Nandini's eyes widen as she watched Avni walking out of washroom looking dead stunning wearing a green saree. It wasn't much work done but simply beautiful. It definitely suited her. The saree glittered and sparkled in the dark.

Thanking Nandini she moves to dressing table, she starts getting ready while Nandini sitting on bed watched her with a smile.

Taking a pinch of vermilion she filled her hairline and rubs her nose that some of them fell down.

Standing up and walking towards Nandini looks at her.

Avni : how do I look?

Nandini: stunning. I should take pictures of yours and send it to Bhai.. he can see it afterwards.

She chuckles as Nandini took her phone out and captured few pictures sending to Neil.

She grabs her clutch and phone and walks outside of the room with Nandini trailing behind her.

As she descends downstairs, she carefully steps down not wanting to trip over. Since she find out of her pregnancy, she has been very careful and would take care herself.

Neela smiles and hugs Avni complimenting her.

Neela broke the hug and kissed her forehead.

Neela : you look very beautiful bacha.

Avni : thank you maa.. where is mom and dad?

Neela : they would be coming down..and bebe is there..

They turns around and see Bebe coming down the stairs. Bebe comes to them and complimented Avni.

Avni bends down to touch Bebe feet but Bebe stopped her before she could bend down. Bebe hugs her and patted her head lovingly.

Bebe : you shouldn't bend down in this condition.

Her eyes widen as she looks at Bebe being dumbfounded.

Avni : Bebe.. you knew..

Bebe : we have through this phase Avni. Yes I know it. I'm so happy for you both. Congratulations.

Avni smiles hugging Bebe. Her eyes fell on her mother who looked shock hearing Bebe.

She realised that she should tell the family first because she didn't know when she will get a chance to tell Neil. She thought of telling them after the wedding.

Her thoughts were broken by swetha voice. Her eyes fell on them who walks down the stairs.

Prakash: where is Ashish and Manik?

Neela : they will be there after work. They will go there straight away.

Prakash nodded his head and looks at Avni.

Prakash : ready.

She nodded her head and follows them out side of malthore mansion. Avni hugs Neela and whispers.

Avni: maa. I'm sorry. I have something to tell you.

Neela broke the hug and kissed her forehead. Her eyes glints with tears as she looked at her daughter grown up so much.

Neela gestures her to sit. They all settled down and Prakash drove the car once everyone got comfortable.

Neela and Nandini were not attending because Nandini couldn't stand on her feet for too long and Neela stayed back to look after Nandini.

They all greets them groom family and enters inside. Avni roams her eyes around and looks around.

It felt so beautiful to attend a wedding . Her eyes widen as she watched the decorations amazedly.

Her attention was caught by a person who she was shocked to see. She starts walking towards the person and tapped the shoulder.

The person turns around and looks at Avni with a smile.

Avni : hey what are you doing here Riyan?

Riyan hugs Avni with smile playing on his lips.

Riyan :oh my gosh! After so long I have met you. How are you?

He broke the hug and looks at her. His eyes did fell on her body and snapped it out quickly.

Avni : eyes up mister...

Riyan : sorry! How have you been? Where is the captain? Don't see him around?

Avni : on mission. He is back in the army.

Riyan : wow! You must be so proud of him.

Avni : the proudest. I'm lucky to be his wife. How come you here? You didn't join back.

Riyan : no! I have taken few months break then I will join. Wait I need to introduce you to someone.

He held her hand and drags to other side where groom and bride were sitting down.

Avni : Riyan... stop.

She stopped him and looks at the newly couple who were about get married. She first congratulated them before stepping down and following Riyan who looks impatient to get her attention back.

Avni : why are you in so hurry Riyan? Who is this person caught your attention?

She smirks seeing him getting worked up so quick.

Riyan : will you stop pulling my legs? You will see.

He stops at the person and calls the name out softly. The person turns around and looks at them.

Riyan : Avni meet my girlfriend Tina. Tina meet my boss and the best captain mrs Avni khanna.

Tina smiles and hugs Avni.

Tina : it's pleasure to meet you Avni. I heard so much about you.

Avni broke the hug and looks at Tina.

Avni : nice to meet you. How did you guys meet up? How did it start?

Riyan : maybe other time we will tell you our love story.

Avni nodded her head and talked to them. She excused herself from them and moves to her family.

Her smiles widen as she spotted her father and brother dressed up in suit straight coming to work.

She shook her head at their workaholic habit and moves to them hugging them.

Manik side hugs her and pecks her forehead.

Manik : how is my baby doll?

Avni : I'm fine Bhai. I missed you.

Manik : you saw me in the morning baby doll.

Avni : so what I missed you.

Manik chuckles and shook his head.

The wedding were over and the guests moves go eat while Avni felt her stomach playing up. She held Manik's hand stopping him.

Manik turns around and looks at her.

Manik : what happened baby doll? You okay?

Avni : Bhai.. I don't feel well..  can we please go home?

Manik looks at her and saw her facial expression. He looks around to spot the family but when he didn't he sighed and holding her hand took her out of the venue.

He made her sit in the car and settling himself drove away. As he drove, he called Prakash informing about them leaving.

Even Prakash said they will be leaving soon.

Manik rolls the window and looks at Avni who leans back on the seat. Her hand around her stomach.

He caressed her hair and increasing the speed drove away.

He parks the car and carrying her into his arms walks inside the mansion.

Neela who sat in living room with Nandini got shocked seeing them.

Neela : what happened to her Manik?

Manik : she isn't feeling well mom.. can you please get her some water? I'm taking her to the room.

Neela nodded her head and went to kitchen while Nandini follows Manik to Avni's room.

Manik laid Avni down on the bed and looks at her.

Manik: love, you know what happened to her? Why did she attend the wedding if she wasn't feeling well?

Nandini : mani.. it's okay. She will be fine.

Manik : she doesn't look well. Can you please help out? I will be back.

She nodded her head and sat beside Avni while Manik walks out of the room.
