Neil broke the hug and cupping her face wiped the tears with his thumb and placed a kiss on her forehead followed by on both of the cheeks.

Neil : I don't like tears in your eyes. I have a small surprise you. Please don't spoil it. I have kept something for you on the bed. Quickly get change and meet me downstairs.

Neil rubs his thumb on her cheeks still staring her intensely. Avni sniffing glances on the bed and saw a gift wrapped beautiful placed on the bed.

She grinned and smiled fullest pushing Neil away as she ran towards the bed picking the gift up.

She quickly unwraps the gift and squeals seeing the dress inside. She took out and held turning herself around Neil showing him the dress.

Neil chuckles at her antics as holding the dress in her hand she jumped on him hugging him tightly.

Avni: this is so gorgeous. Thank you so much Neil.

Neil smiles and caressed her hair and pecks it. He broke the hug and cupping her face placed a kiss on her forehead.

Neil : did you like it?

Avni : like it? I love it Neil!

She couldn't express her gratitude towards Neil giving his all effort to make her smile.

Neil :I am glad you love it! Why don't you go and get dressed? I will meet you downstairs. I want my half girlfriend to dressed up for me.

Avni kissing his cheek hardly rushed to washroom leaving Neil froze. Neil touched his cheek and chuckled as he walks out of the room.

Coming out of the washroom dressed in the dress that Neil gifted her moves to dressing table, she then starts applying minimal make up on.

She pulls the drawer and took few matching jewellery out and wore them. She also wear a sliver watch on her wrist.

She then took her favourite brand perfume and sprayed on herself.

Glancing herself in the mirror smiles brightly and grabbing a sling bag and phone she walks out of the room.

As she gets down the stairs she found her brother sitting in living room.

Manik noticing Avni up smiles and getting up side hugs her.

Manik: my baby doll looks gorgeous. What's the plan! Are you going somewhere?

Avni smiles and her head thanking Manik.

Avni : have you seen Neil? He said he will be waiting for me here? I don't see him.

Manik chuckles and gestures towards the stairs where Neil was climbing down the stairs.

They eyes got locked with each other. Neil smirks as he found her staring him. Neil smiles at Manik who shook his head and left from there.

Neil clicks his finger front of Avni's face making her come out of her thoughts.

Neil : where are you lost love?

Avni : nowhere! Yes nowhere.

Neil: you can't even lie! I know you're drooling over my hot body.

Avni rolls her eyes and looked around the room controlling her blush being caught by Neil.

Neil moves closer and encircling his arm around her waist pulls her closer making her chest touch his chest. Their breath fanning against their lips.

Neil smirks and going closer to her ear, his lips touching her ears whispered.

Neil : oh my! My love. You look dead gorgeous. You look breathtaking. I love it.

Neil nibbled her ears and moves away glancing at Avni whose face were crimson and red, her cheeks starts hurting due to his constant tease.

Neil : it's okay! Your can blush much as you want but few hours let's keep it a hold on that.

Neil spoke seeing the time. Avni looks up staring him bitting her lips controlling her blush.

Avni : where are we going? Does maa or Bhabhi know?

Neil : there is surprise for you! And yes everyone in the family knows. Why are you worrying about that? Just focus on us.

He spoke at last holding her hand in his and walking towards the exits not before shouting about their departure.

Neil turns the car on and opening the door for Avni gestures her to get in. She smiles and sat down.

Neil closing the door went to his side and opening the door sat down.

Neil turns the radio on and entwining their hands that rested on Avni's lap, Neil drove to the next surprise for Avni.

Avni rested her head on Neil's shoulder and kept in engage while ranting about old gossip of hers.

Neil being good listen heard everything what she said without disturbing her.

Neil in between smiles and pecks her head.

Neil stops the car and looks at Avni.

Neil: we reached love! Let's get out!

They both comes out of the car and Neil held her hand again. They walks inside the restaurant.

Neil: hi! I have reservation for Neil khanna. Can you please check it?

The girl who was in charge welcoming the customer nodded her head and checked it.

Girl : yes sir! Please follow me!

She guided them towards the private room which was decorated romantically making Avni admire the place.

Girl : sir , ma'am please get comfortable. A waiter will be with you shortly.

Neil nodded his head and she left from there leaving them alone. Neil smiles and pulls a chair for Avni making her sit.

Avni : I am loving this side of yours Mister.

Neil chuckles and sat down looking at her.

Neil : there is a lot of my sides that you need to discover miss.

Avni grins and smirks.

Avni : I definitely can't wait. May I know if Neil khanna is cheating?

Neil : cheating? How is that?

Avni : isn't this cheating Neil? Asking for me date, you brought to restaurant for date instead of asking me. Why didn't you ask me in first place? Now tell me isn't this cheating?

Neil nervously chuckles.

Neil : well! Will you go on date with me miss?

Avni laughs out and placed a hand on his.

Avni : well! I will let this slide. But next time I want better way. This way of asking is too dull and boring.

Neil chuckles and looks at the waiter who walks in taking their order. They ordered the drinks first.

As the waiter left Neil looks at Avni.

Neil : how long you will be in Delhi? I mean when does your holiday ends?

Avni : it just started. I still got months in my hand. Why do you ask?

Neil : just curious.

Avni : okay! What about you?

Neil : two months. I will returning back after that. 

Avni : we can spend times together. Why don't you shift to Delhi?

Neil : why Delhi?

He teased very knowing what she wants from him.

Avni : why can't you live in Delhi?

Neil : that is not the question love. I need to know why will I be staying in Delhi?

Avni : are you teasing me?

Neil : I thought you didn't guess.

Avni : you love to tease me. But Neil honestly. Why don't you stay our place?

Neil : I would love to but I have something else planned for this two months.

Avni : what? Will you not tell me?

Neil : I will but on correct time.

Avni didn't nag but picking a drink took a sip.

They continued to talk and in between ordered the food.

Soon the food arrived. They relished the food. Neil wipes his mouth and looks at Avni.

Neil : shall we order dessert?

Avni: I am full! Maybe later.

Neil nodded his head and wrapping the dinner walks to the counter. Neil paying the bill and entwining their hands walks out of the restaurant.

They walked back to their car and settles inside.

Neil : where shall we go? Home or somewhere else?

Avni : I don't wanna go home yet. How about beach?

Neil : okay!

Neil turning the radio and humming a song drove to one of the beach in Delhi.

Avni played with his fingers making him smile.

Avni : Neil can I ask you something?

Neil nods his head and glanced and looked back to the road.

Avni : who was your first girlfriend? Or did you have crush in college?

Neil frowns but nevertheless found this topic very interesting.

Neil : I didn't have girlfriend before but I definitely did have a crush on the girls back during college times.

Avni : how many crushed you had?

Neil : I lost the count love. It was long time ago.

Avni : Neil! Tell me! How many!

Neil : why do I feel flames coming out of ears because of jealous? Are you jealous?

Avni : no what! Why would I be jealous?

Neil : you ain't jealous?

Avni shook her head making him smirk.

Neil : I actually lied to you.. before you I had one serious relationship. I was so much love with her...

He kept going on about his one relationship not realising how badly it affected Avni. Her ears red and her face ballooned up due to jealousy.

She was hating the way he's talking  about a girl in front of her. She slapped his shoulder and turns her head away making Neil burst out in laughter.

Neil : love! I was kidding! I promise I don't have anyone apart from you. I was teasing you.

Avni didn't respond but kept her stern face staring outside of the window.

Neil sighs and thought how to make it up.
