After dinner she walks into her room and turning the music on keeps her phone on the side table. She took the suitcase out and starts packing her clothes.

She was returning back to work after long break. Tomorrow morning she will going where she loves being the most. Last few days in Mumbai has been bliss for her. She even spoke to Neil whenever they get time.

She doesn't know if they would meet up before she leaves. She doesn't know what tomorrow holds for them.

She shuffled her things in bag and zipped the bag she was stuffed everything in the suitcase. She pulls and kept by the couch.

She then moving to side table picks her phone up turns the music off.

Holding her phone and turning the room lights walks out of the room. She stood front of Neil's room and after fighting with her mind and heart pushed the door enters inside.

She closed the door behind her and looks around his name. His room is still the same. Nothing has been changed in the room. She stood by the photo frame that hangs up on the room.

She caressed the photo and smiles at his photo.

Avni : I don't know how to say it but I will miss you so much.

Her gazed fixed on his photo. Avni moving closer to the photo kissed his forehead.

Avni moves back to bed and taking the slippers off she climbs on the bed. She kept her phone on the aide table and covers herself with duvet.

She could smell his cologne in the room and bed. She took the extra pillow and hugged it. She closed her eyes allowing the sleep over take her.

Next morning, turning the alarm off she gets up sitting on bed, with her back resting agent headboard.

She ties her messy hair up in bun and picks up the phone from side table, she checked her phone to any miscalled or messages from Neil but seeing none she sighs and getting down the bed moves to his photo.

She caressed his face and moving closer pecks his forehead.

Avni : I miss you Neil!

Muttering miss you she walks out his room and headed towards her room. She  plugs her phone on charging and grabbing her change went to washroom.

A towel wrapped around her head and wearing loose top with tracksuit comes out the washroom. Removing a towel she kept on couch and moves to dressing table.

Picking a comb she starts combing her hair, she left her hair open. Applying a cream on her face and not bothering to wear make up she went to bedside and picking her up walks out of the room.

Descending down the stairs she tried calling Neil but it unanswered, she also dropped few messages to him before she shuts her phone and smiles looking at her parents who sat in living hall with Bebe and Prakash.

Avni : good morning!

She greets them and moving to Ashish side back hugs planting a kiss on his cheek. Ashish smiles and patted her head.

Ashish : good morning princess! Come, have a seat!

Avni comes to front and sat beside Ashish.

Neela : are you ready bacha? We will leave after 11 o'clock! Is that okay?

Avni: yes maa! I have packed my stuff! We will leave right after breakfast.

Avni's words brought sadness to Prakash and bebe who didn't want them to leave. They looked sad upon hearing malthora and Avni won't be staying with them after today as they are returning back to Delhi and Avni back to ship.

Bebe : it feels so unreal, i can't believe it how two weeks passed with such a great memories with you all. I miss you guys a lot.

Avni smiles and getting up sat beside Bebe hugging her making Bebe smile.

Avni : we will miss you too bebe, I had wonderful times with you all. I will definitely miss you all. I am taking some memories with me until I see you again.

Bebe lovingly pats Avni's head and smiles looking at her.

Bebe : bless you my child! Be safe and return back home safely.

Avni : thank you bebe!

Swetha's voice echoed in the hall and everyone getting up starts moving to dining area. They all sat down and Avni seeing swetha greets her and side hugs her as she took a bowl of her hand.

Avni : good morning auntie! Let me help you out!

Swetha smiles and thanks Avni while patting her cheek softly.

Swetha : it's okay! Let me serve you today.

Avni : no auntie! Let me do the honour for the last time.

Swetha wasn't to disobey but stops as she saw Avni passing her a glare. Avni chuckles lightly as swetha took her seat next to Prakash. Avni shook her head and starts severing everyone.

Avni pulls a chair sat beside after serving everyone. She starts eating when her phone rang. She looks at everyone then at her phone which was kept on her left side.

Avni smiles as she saw the caller id and picks it.

Avni: hello!

Caller : hello miss malthora. How are you?

Avni : I'm fine! How are you?

Caller : great! Well I need to confirm few things before taking off today.

Avni : yes! What is it?

Caller : everything is ready and checked & tested.
Is there something you would like us to do before you arrive?

Avni : please go through the checklist for the last time and make sure whetting is loaded and is safe for us to drive. I will be reaching there in an hour or so.

Caller: okay boss! Final check then I will see you. God I missed you so much.

Avni giggles not knowing she got gazes on her.

Avni : I missed you too boy. I will see you soon.

Caller : oh yes! See you soon boss!

Avni chuckles as she ended the call and looks at the family who was staring her without blinking their eyes. Avni shook her head and took another mouthful bite.

Avni : what is wrong guys? Please continue with your breakfast.

She spoke after five minutes still feeling their gazes on them including Bebe who smirks.

Prakash: who is that Avni?

Avni : uncle, he is my colleague.  Just checking few things.

Prakash nodded his head then like that everyone had their breakfast and moves back to living hall.

Prakash and Ashish brought the luggage down and kept it in the corner.

Malthora family hugging the khanna and bidding them bye starts moving outside of the mansion followed by khanna family.

They were going to drop Avni first then Neela and Ashish to airport. Everyone got inside the car and the Prakash starts driving the car to an address where Avni's team was supposed to meet and then starts the journey.

Soft music playing in car and everyone chatting away before the departure. Avni who sat at the back took her phone out and found none no messages or call from Neil. She sighed and looked outside of the window.

Avni smiles brightly as she heard the ringtone but seeing the caller id her smiles faded away as it wasn't him who she expected to call her but it was her brother Manik.

Avni sighs and nevertheless answered the call.

Avni : hello Bhai! How are you? You got up early that too on Sunday.

Manik : baby doll, why are you teasing me? I love my sleep. Leave all these. Have you left? Did you get on the ship? Did maa papa left? Hello are you listening baby doll?

Avni : Bhai! How can I speak when you won't let me. Please don't bombard with so many questions at the same time. I will answer each question of yours. Yes I have left, I haven't got on the ship yet. And lastly maa and papa are with me, they will be dropping me ofc first then head to airport.

Manik: i am in quick rush baby doll. I want you to take care of yourself and be safe. I miss you so much. I wish I was there to bid you bye. I hope you return back home safely. I will miss you a lot and I want you to enjoy each part of your duty.

Avni: thank you Bhai! I miss you too. I will take care of myself and return back home for your wedding. Is Nandini with you?

Manik : yes! Have a talk with her.

Manik passed the phone to Nandini who too it and looks at Manik who wipes his tears and laid back in her arms, she ran her fingers into his hair.

Nandini : hello Avni! How are you?

Avni : hello Nandini. I'm good, how are you?

Nandini : I'm good! We will miss you! Be safe there and come back home soon.

Avni: I will miss you guys too. Please take care of him. I know he must be crying silently.

Nandini : I will take care of him. You also take care of yourself.

Avni: I will do! I love you both. Will miss you both!

Avni wipes her own tears as she spoke to Nandini. After ending the call with Nandini Avni passed a smile to her parents and khanna who returns the smile back. Neela patted her head and side hugs her.

Neela: it's okay bacha! He will get used it. He has been like that since childhood.

Avni nodded her head and puts her head on Neela lap.

Avni putting the sunglasses on as she comes out of the car dressed in her uniform looks at the ship in front of her. Her eyes tears up as she saw her first love after such long period of time. She missed sailing cross the ocean.

Avni felt proud seeing herself back to the place where she belongs.

Avni turns back and looks at the family who comes out of the car and starts moving towards the ship.

Avni shoving her hands in he pockets slowly moves near the ship and greets her colleague as she walked passed them.

Avni gets on the ship and starts finding the one person who was her favourite person.

She finally spotted him leaning against the ship and looking  further away into the ocean.

Avni starts moving towards him and placed a hand on his back making him turn around. They looked at each other for mere seconds before they giggles and engulfs in hug.

Avni : god! I missed you so much Riyan.

Riyan smiles and pats her hair as he broke the hug and cupping her face pecks her forehead.

Riyan: I missed you too boss! How have you been.

Avni: you tell me! How have I been?

She smiles making him chuckle.

Riyan : you haven't changed at all boss.

Avni : I don't have any intention to change myself at all. All this aside for time being, is everything ready? We should departure on time.

Riyan : yes boss! All ready. We just need everyone board then ready to leave.

Avni nodded her head and checks her phone to see his messages but still she found none, she quickly masked her sad face away and looks at Riyan who didn't fail to notice the saddens on his boss face.

Riyan : what happened boss? Why you looked so sad looking into your phone? Any danger?

Avni : no there is no danger. And nothing happened. Why would I be sad? I will bid my family and come back. Please get everyone on the ship.

Riyan : yes boss!

Avni smiling at Riyan walks away and gets down the ship. She saw her family and moves towards them.

Avni : we have time before departure. I can show you all around the ship.

Prakash : that is not needed beta. We don't want to trouble you at all.

Avni : there is nothing to trouble uncle, please come!

Everyone also agrees and Avni gave them tour of ship when Riyan comes said everyone is on ship and it's almost time to leave.

Avni nodded her head and hugs her parents.

Avni : I miss you both! I love you both, take care.

Neela : we will miss you too bacha, take care of yourself.

Neala kissed Avni's head so did Ashish. Avni also hugs khanna family and turns back to ship. She get on the ship with Riyan and giving a look and thumbs up to her team waved bye to her family who also did the Same.

Avni smiles in tears as she watched her family. She wipes her tears and quietly whispers his name.

Avni : Neil. I will miss you!

She mutters his name and prayed for his well-being as she looked between the ocean. She knew he couldn't make it. She doesn't blame him but destiny had some other plan for the them.
