One Day during the making of moonwalker, Michael promised the kids that starred in one of his videos a whole day at Neverland. Well..... he was gone and I was already seven months into the pregnancy and wasn't quite sure if it was right. But a promise is a promise, so they came and played for a whole day.
I had come to realize how polite and sweet the kids were--the way they spoke to me and asked me questions. Especially  Kelley, the little girl who played Katie in Smooth Criminal--she was just so thoughtful. So I said, " Kids, call your parents--you can stay in the guest bedroom if you'd like to stay longer!" Around the house I let kids come and explore Neverland as my way of saying, " I am as kind-hearted as Michael and am willing to share Neverland early with children who want to come spend a day...with Michael's permission." I guess it gave me a a good reputation as Michael's wife. Fans found an interest in me, and I in them. Anyone who loves Michael is a friend of mine.

As a daily life at the time, some employees would take care of me during the week and I'd go spend the weekend with Katherine and Joseph. Honestly, again, Katherine was extremley supportive--feeding me and comforting me when I was only a month away.
I was to the point I couldn't walk down the stairs without guidance. More and more Michael had wished he was back home helping me. I would reply, " Yes it would be nice but you've got a career to maintain."

part 104:
1988

Michael called me up one night. " Hello?" I picked up my phone, laying on the bed, as I watched Christina's little feet kick me.
" Jeni, its Michael."
" Oh, Hi!" My voice pitch changed, " How's the tour going?"
" Its going great," he quickly changed the  subject, " How about you and Christina-doing good?"
" Ohhh," I laughed, " Were almost there-- I feel like....A big butterball. Sometimes I feel I want to just take this big bump off and set it to the side. But, I'm sure It will be all worth it in the end. I'm due next month, pray that everything goes smooth."
I stopped for a moment, then quietly said, " Michael?"
" Yes?"
"...Will you be there?" He hesitates, " God, I wish I could say I'm positive I will but I cannot."
" Why?"
" I'm right in the middle of the United States; Kansas. And I just dont know if I can fly back to Santa Barbara or not."
I just stopped and sighed to myself.
" But hang in there, Jen. I'm doing as much as I can inbetween shows. Its just a matter of time so please, please be patient."
" I understand what you're saying." " I knew you would. Your always truthful and understanding to me."
