"Honey, I want you to wrap this around your waist, it will get cold at the park as the sun goes down."
" But daddy told me the sun always shines in California!"
I sighed, as Michael was in the main room, him and the boys were in the main room messing around.

It was early 1991, and things were slowly changing and things became more complicated, but for the better. We are up to six now. Almost halfway there. Of course theres Chrissie, Grace and Mae, and just last month we welcomed Kodzovi, Rawiyah and Matthew into the family. Uganda and Bangladesh.  four 12 hour flights. I was worried about Michael but he seemed to be fine. He told me that those long hours in a plane were worth it. He wanted to give the kids all they wanted and needed, d and to give them that love that wasn't given to them was only what he wished for.
We planned to take the kids to Disneyland, Michael had the park privately for us, and of course we took the Cascio boys--Frank and his younger brother Eddie. They were staying with us for a while. Its always great when they come to stay because there just like any kid at heart but there just so incredible. I know the boys and their family did a lot for Mike. So why not repay them by taking him to Disneyland?

Going back to disneyland always brought back the memories of working on Captain EO, and the late nights we spent on the park. Now,  we are a part of Disneyland, and Disneyland is a part of me. When we went to see it, it was three dimentional and the kids were in awe.

Grace had always begged to meet Mickey and Minnie mouse. It was one of those goals that your child will never stop telling you about. So, we told her she would meet them. When she did, she asked him a bunch of questions and asked if he would go to Neverland with us, and he told her he had to stay in Disneyland cause he's a star and always busy. We ended up taking a picture of them,  and she told him she'd be back to visit him often.
I meet the Cascio family after BAD, I had been taking care of Chrissie, she was very very young. Michael had introduced me to them and told me how incredibly humble and generous they were to him. They absolutley were--five kids full of energy and kids at heart. Michael had a close bonding with Frank, the oldest. He seemed to relate to him easily. They havd been a big part of Michael's life, getting him through those rough times, which Im sure is unbelieveably awesome on Michael's part.

Whenever the boys specifically come over, they'll go out and play in Neverland. If I'm home I'll  cook up something I know they like, typical American old fashioned meals--burgers, fries and shakes. While they eat, they tell me about how life's going and we catch up, talk about music and he'd ask about my past experiences with acting. I always loved how much energy Frank had and how humourous he was towards things...he's most definitley a good role model for Chrissie.
