5: Lovestruck

Saturday, September 16th,

Finally, Saturday has come at last and it's getting closer and closer to Tiffany's little party. I haven't really met her personally, but I'm hoping to by the end of next week. I don't really have any plans today, which is a bummer, TBH. I might just text Stevie (yes, I call him Stevie now~;) just to kill time. Speaking of, I've noticed how fit that guy is...just being around him makes me wanna feel and caress all of his biceps and abs...oh how badly I want to just massage him and his divine figure. It makes me hot just thinking about it.

I wonder he looks like shirtless...

XOXO,
Spinel~

* * * * *

"I bet he looks fine as hell without it." Spinel said to herself while picturing a shirtless Steven in her mind; Oh how great a sight that would be. This was much, much better than those anime guys the girls swoon over. Steven was a whole other level on his own. She can just picture it, a shirtless Steven, soaked in sweat from his workouts, his abs glistening from the shine. And he comes near her, allowing her to lightly touch his toned arm, her heart beating fast as he leans over her, face just inches away from hers, and then-

'I'm definitely getting too horny with this whole scenario-' She sadly knew that was just a figment of her imagination. 'But it he wanted to do that to me, I sure wouldn't complain~'

Yup. Definitely horny.

Spinel sighed dreamily. It still wouldn't hurt if he just let her feel on him. Actually, now that she thinks about it, fit guys was one of her ideal traits. A kink, if you will. That and being handled roughly...

She took out her phone, grinning as she got onto Steven's contacts, to which she named Papi Chulo.

(Papi Chulo = Pimp Daddy in Spanish)

Spins~: *Hey Steven*

She waited patiently for his reply.

Papi Chulo: *Hi Spinel 😄*

He sent a smiley face! That's a good sign, right? Spinel giggled and thought of a flirty reply.

Spins~: *I take it you're glad to hear from me, huh~? 😏*

Papi Chulo: *You can say that 😂*

Spins~:*So whaccha doin?*

Papi Chulo: *Gettin' ready to leave and head 2 the Arcade with my sis*

Spins~: *Oof I'm stuck here for the rest of the day 😪*

Actually, she had the choice to leave and hang out with Sarah. Really she just hoped Steven would take a hint and ask Spinel if she wanted to go with him.

Papi Chulo: *Sucks.*

Papi Chulo: *Wanna come with us? 🤔*

Oh, so he wasn't slow after all!

Spins~:*Ya sure ya sis won't mind? 👉👈*

Papi Chulo: *Of course she'll be fine with it. I'll come pick u up*

Spins~:*Alright, I'll be ready in an hour 😘*

Sure, she knew Steven couldn't possibly say no to his new best friend. But it still made her heart flutter to know he would enjoy her company. And hey, she'll get to meet his sister- whoever that may be. Really, she could imagine if she looked just as hot as her brother. Was she a goth like Spinel? Or was she a Mary Sue like that Connie Steven loved so much?

"Bleh-" Spinel gagged at even the mention of her name. Though she didn't know exactly why she hated Connie. After all, she was so welcoming and...nice...when Steven introduced her to Spinel. Yeah, she was a BIT judgemental when she saw Spinel's sense of style. But that was no reason to hate her. Steven liked her! And Spinel likes Steven....so maybe she should tolerate Mary Sue- Connie- for Steven's sake.

Speaking of Steven, she was gonna needa make an impression on him for their date!

*cough* Not-so-date...

"God, something's wrong with me." She rolled her eyes, walked to her adored closet and pulled out something she thought would catch Steven's eye, but not signal any sort of excess desperation; a black crop top, black boots with fishnet stockings, jean shorts and a black pleated skirt.

Simple enough to attract Steven, right?

After putting on her heavy eyeliner to finish ooff her gothic look, Spinel put on her mother's spinel bracelet and went down to wait for him. Sarah was drinking her usual cup of coffee and reading a magazine. She looked up and smirked at Spinel's attire.

"So, he finally asked you out, huh?" She teased.

"No- I mean- yes?" Spinel answered unsure of herself. "It's nothing, I'm just going to hang out with Steven and his sister. No big deal."

"No big deal huh? If it's no big deal, why are you dressed like you're going on a date? After all, sweetie, it's alright to have a crush on someone." Spinel blushed in embarassment, but even she had to admit she had something for Steven. Hell, he's the whole reason she...dolled herself up in a way. Maybe she really was lovestruck.

"Ok, maybe I like him a little," she admitted. "But this is a not-date I'm going to. So no funny stuff."

"There better not be, I'm too young to raise great-grandkids at my age." Both of them turned towards the door once they heard a car's beeping sound. Steven was here. Sarah smiled knowingly, "But go have fun anyways."

"Bye Sarah." Spinel gave Sarah a hug before heading out the door, where Steven's polished Dondai stood in the street waiting for her. They smiled at each other once they were in their sight. His smile warmed her on the inside; she could get used to this.Maybe that was her cure for depression?

No matter, Spinel took her rightful spot next to Steven, to which she had to contain herself from jumping on him right then and there. But now was no time to be horny. "Missed me, Universe?" She tried to play off by 'not flirting' for this 'not date'.

"I must be crazy if I didn't." Steven shot back, catching Spinel by surprise.

Damn, he's good.

Why did he have to be so...charming?

"Not crazy, but insane." Spinel remarked back coolly. But on the inside her emotions were a wreck. Her stomache was tight and it was like every single human emotion ever existed was thrown into a blender, whizzed around at high speed until nothing was left except a confusing, thick mess. At that moment those emotions were having their own party inside her head. It was impossible to listen to them all at once, and even more so impossible to choose one that actually made sense in this situation. What emotion was Spinel even feeling? She was excited to be here with Steven, but also nervous. She was hella thirsty for him, but was mixed in with shyness. She was also...in love. With Steven Universe. She sighed and sat back on the seat. She couldn't deny her feelings for him. She loved him. There was no denying it.

Amethyst was a tanned skin girl with dark purple complimenting her otherwise black hair. Spinel assumed that wasn't Steven's full sister, but who was she to judge? Amethyst took a space between them excitedly, putting arms around them both. This was definitely cool sister material. "Hey Stee-man, you didn't tell me your girlfriend was such a catch!" She elbowed her brother playfully, to which he groaned in embarassment.

"That's not my girlfriend, Amy." He replied bluntly. Spinel felt a heavy load of disappointment join the party. Did he really have to say it like that? Like he didn't even like her in the slightest? She was starting to wonder if this crush was even worth it.

"Huh, you could've fooled me." She smirked, recalling the way they were flirting earlier. Steven rolled his eyes jokingly and finally began driving. Spinel watched the outside pass by at the speed of life, but was also busy swallowing that gut feeling of hurt she had just experienced. She just couldn't let go how Steven had denied they were together.

Well, they weren't.

But he didn't need to say it so negatively.

In a way he had friendzoned her.

Ugh, 'friendzone'.

She hated that word. At this point it was flickering right in her face like a flashlight, yelling in her ear, beating her with a stick. It was looking down at her and laughing at her stupidity. But of course, they were only in a few baby steps into this friendship they have going on. Perhap here standards were too high. And maybe she was going to fast. Yeah, that's it.

She still felt friendzoned though. This was not a nice feeling.

"So where are goin' anyways?" Spinel asked, trying to forget the negative thoughts invading her mindset.

"Duh, only the coolest place on the planet!" Amethyst cheered.

"We're goin to Disneyworld?"

"Even better!" Amethyst stuck her head out of the window and pointed to the upcoming Arcade. "The Funland Arcade! Man, we made some good memories there."

"Remember the shorty squad?" Steven laughed.

The Shorty Squad?

"The hell is the Shorty Squad?" Spinel asked confusingly.

"It's this thing me, Amethyst, and Peridot did."

Amethyst scoffed. "Yeah, before you hit puberty and turned into a 'big boy'."

Spinel could only imagine a short Steven. It was actually cute. But she couldn't say she preferred that over the Steven she had now. "I've gotta see some pictures of the younger you, Universe."

"No-"

"Hell yeah!" Amy agreed, unlike Steven. She grinned and hopped out the Dondai once they came to a stop. "But not before we go stuff ourselves with cotton candy and fried butter sticks! Last one at the stand is a rotten egg!"

Spinel snickered at the childish teen - young adult? - whatever she was. It reminded her of her younger self. Back when she was innocent, loving... stupid... But mostly that innocent and loving part. She and Steven followed Amethyst at their own pace, not caring about the whole rotten egg bluff.

"So...your sister is something." She started in a complimentary way.

"Yeah, sorry about her. She always gets horny whenever food pops up." Steven explained. "But other than that, she's hella cool. I had a feeling you'd like her."

Spinel smiled a little. "I like her, trust me."

Why did that sound so gay-

Amethyst called to them from the fried butter stick stand, 2 of them in her hand. "Come on you slowpokes, you're missin' all the good stuff!"

"Like I said, she gets hella horny when it comes to food"

"I guess that's something we have in common."

Steven and Spinel eventually made it, Steven giving his vegetarian diet a rest for the day and trying all sorts of arcade snacks he had missed out on with the diet. Whenever Spinel thought it couldn't get any better, it always did. Steven showed her around, and while it wasn't as big or...scary to say the least,...as those big amusement parks in Empire City, it was actually pretty fun. Especially when Steven offered to pay for her cotton candy.

By now it was sunset and Amethyst was long lost. They walked beside each other, laughing and smiling from the fun they've had. And the whole time Spinel could only think; she could be like this forever. She could be by Steven's side, laughing with him, eternal happiness. It would be the happily ever after she'd been longing to have. After all, having Amethyst as a sister-in-law didn't sound so bad. However this was a fairytale. And even she knew fairytales didn't come true.

"Hey, are you alright?" Steven had noticed how quiet she had been for the past minute or so.

Spinel snapped out of it and cleared her throat. "Yeah. Just thinking."

"About what?"

'About how in love with you I am, Steven. Something you're clearly oblivious to.'

"How sucky life is." She lied. He'd been so good to her, she didn't want to give him another reason to be concerned about someone like her. That's when she noticed a gaming booth with numerous stuffed animals. Frogs, rabbits, bears. She'd won every game booth today, so why not finish off her winning streak? "Should I try my luck, Stevie?"

Steven thought about it before getting an idea and putting a dollar on the counter. "Nah."

"Nah?"

''Yeah, nah." He answered, grabbing one of the balls. "It's about time I've won something for you."

Those words seemed to work magic on her heart. She all of a sudden had this strange desire to slap that ball out of his hands, grab him by his gray shirt collar, kiss him with all the love and passion in the world, to tell him she loved him so much and wants to be his. Her world shook, like a heart-shaped meteorite had landed on her feet.

God, she really was lovestruck, wasn't she?

"Really?"She gushed, like she was really all that shocked at his kindness.

"Of course. We are friends after all." Steven smiled before knocking down the 3 bottles on the stand.

So she was friendzoned again.

Why Steven? Just why?

As she watched Steven make his shots, she her emotions suddenly started arguing with each other. She liked him! But then there was him making it painfully clear he wanted nothing more with her. But then like she said, they only knew each other for a week or 2, maybe he needed some time. Yeah, that's it. He just needed time. Spinel just needed patience...lots and lots of it.

Though she did admit, she was impressed he got them on the first try. And to think she was the game master.

Steven in the end had won a giant baby pink bunny with a heart shaped nose and eyes. Spinel's eyes met his. Hers showed a hint of shock, but also with sparks of gratefulness. For moments she had just stared like an idiot. She'd be crazy not to accept this. Even though it was cute, she still wished it had a deeper meaning. Like a boyfriend giving his girlfriend an anniversary gift. But no. She'd always be his friend. His pal. His homie. Just a friend. And that disappointed her.

'First I think we have a chance, next I doubt our relationship. Jesus Christ I think I'm bipolar. Steven, why do you do this to me?' Inside she was a wreck, no way was she letting Steven know that. She instead smiled gratefully and gave an approving hug with the arm that didn't hold the enormous toy. "Thanks Steven." She managed to get out while stopping herself from tonguing him out.

'I need to stop thinking about those kinds of things. Any longer and I'll actually do it.'

"It's no problem," Steven rubbed his neck bashfully, before adding a joking, "Maybe it'll remind you of me." He winked.

Oh god, Spinel could feel a certain tightness in her lower area and knew that was bad news. If she didn't leave right that moment she was gonna have a horny overload. And in public that wouldn't be pretty.

"Hey Steven, think you can take me home?" She asked, feeling vulnerable in a way she wish she wasn't. "Not that I wanna leave or anything. It's more of Sarah's thing."

Thankfully he was understanding. "Yeah, my aunt's gonna get on my ass anyways if I'm not home a while. Come on, we gotta find Amethyst before we go anywhere."

"Deal." 'Hurry up Steven, you don't know the sexual frustraion I'm feeling right now-'

"Oh, and Spinel?"

"Yeah?"

"You look great today."

Oh, noooowww he notices.

At least Spinel knows he's dense.

"Thanks..."

Journal, I don't know what to think of Steven anymore.

He's doing something to me, and the way my hormones clashed together showed. I couldn't wait to get home and help myself...thinking about him only made it worse. I'm pretty sure he saw how fidgety I was, but could you blame me? He was so nice...and sexy...maybe that's why I had the urge to fuck him right then and there, I didn't care if it was in the car or not. I needed him.

Once I got home I didn't even bother saying anything to Sarah. All I could do was go into my room, lock it, and do the job I wished Steven had done...it was something I wished he was there to do with me, so I wouldn't have to do it to myself. Oh but it felt so good...I tried my best not to yell out his name, but it was so hard not to. Even better was the clearish-white liquid to finish it off, to come off as a symbol for my love for Steven.

Oh Steven, you don't know how much I need you right now.

Saturday, September 23rd

I haven't written all week because of him. He's invaded my thoughts like a parasite. Became part of my dreams like a nightmare. Became further and further away since last Saturday. He's been driving my crazy....a good crazy.

In all honesty, I don't think I can survive this party I'll be going to. Almost everyday I've had urges to have his hands over me, cling onto him as he pounds into me with no remorse. Letting him bite onto my neck and tell me how much he loved me. Every night I would imagine he was with me and we had a little "play session"...though it was always with me and my imagiation.

This party is gonna be the death of me.

"Spinel! Your ride's here!" Spinel heard Sarah call her. It was 7:30, perfect timing. She had seen Tiffany roaming the halls, talking with the popular clique and such, and didn't even glance towards her, so she doubted going to this party was even worth it. But Steven's gonna be there, so maybe it was.

"Spinel!"

"I'm coming, dammit!" Spinel yelled back and put on her black eyeshadow. She looked at least a little attractive. The main thing was that see-through shirt Steven fell for at the mall that day, she definitely had that. If that didn't turn his head she didn't know what would.

She grabbed her phone and left the room, meeting Steven in the living room chatting with Sarah.

"If you're done talking about me, I'd like to let you know I was ready." She intervened with her arms crossed.

Once Steven turned to see her, he became speechless. His jaw was dropped to the floor seeing her in that black top he fell weak to his knees to. Even worse he could see the bra underneath that perfectly fit her chest. Spinel smirked at this; she got 'em.

"Are you gonna stare my granddaughter down all night or are you kids gonna get to that girl's birthday?" Sarah questioned while noticing Steven's behavior. He quickly cleared his throat.

"Y-yeah we should get going, Tiffany's got a temper."

"Huh, guess we'll get along swell." Spinel remarked while taking her leave. "Ciao, Sarah."

"Promise me you'll give me details if something juicy goes on, aight?"

She rolled her eyes playfully. "Trust me, I will."

Spinel held her breath. She needed to control herself now. If she even got the slightest aroused that would probably scare off Steven. It felt worse when her hand brushed against his and her heart suddenly got a po-go stick and jumped out of her chest. She sighed because it felt like something had been jumping on her ribcage.

"Alright, to give you a heads up on Tiffany," Steven began on their ride. "You don't wanna piss her off, that's for sure. If you wanna become alliances with her then there's 3 things you should remember; She loves talking about herself, she loves jewelry, and she's the cheerleading captain. If you ever consider going on the team, she's your best chance of making it."

"Ugh, so I hafta kiss her ass just to be popular? Doesn't sound like a sweet deal to me."

"Well, it isn't. But if she's on your side then she's pretty cool to be with."

"Ok, ok, let me stop you right there-" she interrupted. "She's total bitch material. What the hell is she doing hanging out with your nerd of a friend?!" That came out harsher than expected. "She should be shoving Bonnie-"

"Connie."

"Connie in lockers and taking her lunch money or something. They don't seem like the type of people to be friends."

"It's complicated, really." He responded. "Connie saved her from a Calculus test and Tiffany owed her bigtime. Since then they've been worshipping each other like lesbians."

'Huh, that explains a LOT.'

"Where's my nerd when I need one??" Spinel muttered.

They pulled up onto a large lawn filled with cars and drunk teenagers. There were neon lights reflecting through the windows and the music boomed loudly. The house was huge, as expected. Definitely could be compared to Sarah's mansion. In the far side of the yard was a sequined doghouse with a sleeping poodle inside. Needless to say, Tiffany was loaded.

'She sure knows how to throw a party.' Spinel thought, looking at the scenery. It was fairly crowded and a few girls had lost their tops (not that they cared). Within the crowd was Connie, a red cup in her hand and talking to a certain someone, laughing.

"Steven!" She chirped once she saw Steven, ignoring Spinel beside him. "I'm glad you came."

"Pff, I was starting to think you losers wouldn't show up." Tiffany mocked.

Tiffany had your average blonde-bitch-bimbo features; blonde hair running down her shoulders, icy blue eyes, oversized tits that may or may not be fake, and just the sound of her voice made her a rich bitch. She looked at Spinel curiously. "Whose the new girl?"

"Spinel." She replied. "You must be the birthday bitch."

"Hell yeah I am. Look, you may not know this, but you just showed up to the best party in your life." She bragged. Steven was right, she loved talking about herself. Her ego must've been bigger than Steven's dick. "Annnndd...you came with a hottie, too~" Tiffany winked suggestively at the oblivious Steven.

Is she really flirting with Steven in front of Spinel?!

Spinel clinched her fists. She wants to grab her by her hair, drag her into the basement, tie her up, slit her throat, beat her senseless, stab both of her useless blue eyes until there was nothing left-

'Dammit, what's wrong with me?'

"Well, this is the girl that me and Connie met while we were looking for your gift." Steven introduced, stopping her intrusive thoughts.

"Oh yeah, that's the bimbo you were referring to?" Bimbo?! "You could've at least mentioned she had good fashion taste at least Con! Seriously, I'm loving that color, is that mesh?"

Ok, this was confusing. "Uh, yeah actually. You're into this stuff?"

"Duh! I have at least 8 of those." Tiffany boasted, looking at Spinel's bracelet. "Hey, what kind of gems are those? Diamonds?"

No.

"They're spinels, like my name." Spinel replied. This was so confusing. She gets called a bimbo but now she's getting complimented on her looks? Who does Tiffany think she is? "Do you like it?"

"I mean, I have no idea what a spinel is, but I guess it looks alright."

Alright, she's hating Tiffany again.

"Well enough with this small-talk bullshit, who wants to get drunk and play some Drink-or-Dare huh?" Tiffany suggested, earning a few cheers from her peers. Though she looked particularly at Steven. Spinel didn't like that.

This was going to be a long party...

* * *

Alright, so lemme start by saying-

I had a BAD case of writer's block for all my books. No joke. BUT my mindset is set on writing so yay! More updates! This chapter was only 10 words away from being 4000. And hey, what is this I smell?

*sniffs*

It's horny...

It's wanting to kill a bitch...

It's fine as hell...

Oh right! It's a yandere! Or is this just an aggressive case of crush-itis?

I guess we'll see!

Keep calm and sleep on!
Kat
