Tay's pov:

We were working till late night. It was around 1:30 when all we were doing was work, I mean what else did I expect?

But for a colourful soul like me, It was too boring to just sit and work. I needed something fun to keep me entertained. Besides, New was doing most of the work so I was getting bored.

I tried to get New's attention by coughing and even pretending to choke on the water but nothing seemed to catch his eyes. He really was a workaholic.

At last, I decided to just shout his name, "New!" I literally needed to yell to get his attention.

"Ah, what? I am working! Just like you told me to!" Could he not be sarcastic for a literal minute?

"Well, I am getting bored!" I pressed.

"Do you wanna go to sleep?" He asked.

I shook my head in denial. "No... Is your work finished?"

"Almost."

"Then... let's take a break and play a game," I suggested but as I expected, the thought didn't really excite him.

"Game? I am so done with you being a literal kid! What are you? Five?" He exclaimed.

I looked at him, pouting and pretending to be upset until he sighed and gave up. "Fine, what game?"

"Truth or dare?"

"There's only two of us here!"

"Oh, yeah. Then... never have I ever?"

"Fine... Ask!"

"Never have I ever... been in a relationship."

New rolled his eyes. "I haven't."

"Really? Let me guess... was it because of your work?" I assumed.

"You only get to ask one question!"

"Well, then. Your turn."

"Same question."

"I have. 3 in total."

"I didn't ask! Your turn."

"Never have I ever... fallen in love with my client."

His eyes got wide. "I haven't, oy!" He said and hit my back. Teasing him is the best fun in the world.

"Sure, sure. We'll see!" I teased him again.

"I think someone else around here is falling for his 'fashion designer'." teasing back? Wow. He was indeed brave.

"Woah, is this how you wanna play? Fine! Bring it on!"

"Yes." He claimed and brought his face closer, brushing his nose to mine. My breathing got heavier. It felt so surreal to have his face that close to me. "Why? You can't compete?" He asked in a flirty way. He's flirting back now! What am I gonna do?

I gulped. "I... I can!" I barely stuttered out. That couldn't be happening. I really didn't expect him to flirt back but it pleased me that he did and it dragged me to him even more.

We kept playing until it was like past 2 am. New started complaining and nagging me as he couldn't finish his work and was now sleepy. So I told him to sleep and that he could finish his work the next day. He ended up sleeping on the couch after resisting my offer to sleep on the bed multiple times. So stubborn!

The next day morning was a Saturday so he didn't have work. By the time I woke up, he was already long gone, leaving his fresh scent on the couch. Unable to resist, I took a sniff off of a cushion from the couch he was sleeping on.

Hugging the cushion, I got reminded of all of the moments I had with him the other night. Thinking of those, brought a wide smile on my face like a teenager first time in love.

After the weekends ended, I went to my office and noticed my stocks going more down and down. On the other hand, the second best clothing brand in Thailand, "Easy", was getting a lot of profit, almost about to surpass my brand.

My dad had just came back home. And he's giving me a lot of pressure about the company. When he used to be the CEO, the company was one of the best worldwide. But now, I can't even keep the status of it being the best in Thailand, let alone worldwide! I've tried every single method I could to do something about it. Or perhaps was it because I changed the designer?

New's pov:

I came back from home and found out that Tay's company had been in loss. And the audacity Tay had to blame it all on my designs was ridiculous.

He basically begged me to join his company and now he's blaming me for not working hard enough. He literally told me to sleep last night when I was about to finish my work. He distracted me from my work. And now that he was back to being the so called CEO, he had the right to order me around like that? The way he changes so fast was what made me unsure about his actual feelings for me.

But if you asked me about what could really be the reason of his company going down, I'd say it's the lack of advertisements. He literally didn't even put half of his efforts in advertisements. No budget at all. That's why most of the people didn't know much about the company and it's existence.

But he didn't give me a single chance to talk to him about this. All he did was yell at me.

"Why are you not doing it right? What's the problem? Did I not make it clear about how I want it?" Tay's yelling could be heard in the whole floor but I was standing right in front of his door.

Immediately after that, a worker came out almost crying from the room. I decided to go in and saw Tay, leaning on the table, grabbing his head, tensed. "Tay, are you okay?" I asked from a distance.

"New, leave me alone, please." He seemed helpless. I couldn't just leave him alone like that!

I came closer to him and held his hand, "Tay, what's wrong? Why are you acting like this? Everyone's scared. I am worried, you know," I expressed, trying to comfort and reassure him.

He looked up and into my eyes. His eyes were vulnerable as he hugged me tightly, "Everything's wrong! Nothing is going the way it should. The company is so messed up." He opened up to me and told me the truth. All the anger I had were already gone the moment I heard his pitiful voice asking me to leave him alone. I felt bad so I tried to comfort him.

"It's okay, Tay. I believe you're a great leader. You can do it. Su su na ( keep fighting)!" He detached from the hug, looked at me and finally smiled after frowning the whole day which brought a smile to my face as well.

"You know, we argue and then we smile at each other. I sometimes wonder are we friends or enemies?" He asked cutely as he wiped his sadness off his face.

"We're frenemies, unless you wanna be more than that." And here goes me teasing him again. He's so childish and mature at the same time!
