*Hides POV*

I let out a small sigh as i stretched my eyes open, immediately being blinded by lights above me. I turned my head slowly to lool around 61st the scenery. A hospital? I gripped the sheets as i pushed my body up slowly to a sitting position.

"Finally you are awake," I stared at a doctor when he walked in with a clipboard.

"Finally?" my voice was a whisper when I spoke and my throat burned like hell.

"You've been out for three weeks, we were ready to take you off life support but thank God you are awake now," he sighed as he wrote some things on a paper.

"Someone came by here everyday to see if you were awake. He just left now, nice fellow who was with you when the incident happened. White hair. Gray eyes. Seemed really attached to you too." He huffed before he made his leave. I laid back down as i closed my eyes slowly.

I opened my eyes to the sound of the door opening then closing. I sat up and looked over as my breathe caught in my throat.

"Kaneki," I whispered as he walked over silently. White hair...

"How are you feeling Hide?" He stopped a bit away from me and i reached my hands out.

"Kaneki please come here," I pleaded and he took my hands cautiously and I pulled him into my body as i hugged him tightly and smiled.

"Kaneki thank you," I whispered.

"I know you are a ghoul and I know you helped me," I looked into his eyes and gulped his face with both hands.

"I love you so much," I smiled as he reached up and touched my hand gently.

"All I did was hurt you," he whispered and I shook my head.

"Kaneki you helped me in so many ways. You were my best friend and were always there for me. That's why i love you and I will forever love you!" I smiled at him.

"Hide," he whispered.

"I love you too," he smiled softly and I let my hands call as his fingers intertwined with mine. I leaned over slowly and kissed his lips.

"I'll always love you," he whispered before he kissed back.
