Author's P.O.V

EXO had just arrived and gotten out of the company van. Then they all silently walked into the RBW Entertainment building. Their manager had called and told them to meet him there urgently.

Kai: "Do any of you know why we're here."

They all shrugged at him. D.O noticed that Kai was a little tense so he hit him on the shoulder playfully. He just smiled painfully at him.

They walked into the elevator wondering why their manager would make them come to another entertainment building. When they stepped out their manager was waiting for them with a huge grin on his face.

Manger: "Hey guys!"
Thee manager said a little to happy.

Manager: "Follow me please."
They walked behind him into Mr. Jin-woo's office.

Manager: "This is Mr. Jin-woo."
They all bow to each other.

Jin-woo: "You guys must be wondering why you're here."
Exo looks and him and nods. They hear the creak of the door and turn around to see Mamamoo.

Moonbyul avoids eye contact with Kai and moves towards Hwasa and hugs her arm. Jin-woo smiles and makes a motion for them to come forward. They step forward after faltering for a second. Jin-woo feels the tension in the room and his smile falters a little.

Jin-woo: "Is something wrong guys, you seem tense."
He says as he looks towards Mamamoo. They shake their heads in disagreement. Kai just stares at the back of Moonbyul's head. Kai clears his through and look towards Jin-woo.

Kai: "So why are we here again?"
Jin-woo looks back at Kai.

Jin-woo: "Oh yeah, you guys are doing a collaboration together at MAMA and then Moonbyul will do a performance of her new song "Eclispe"."

Moonbyul looks up at him.

Moonbyul: "New song?! I have a new solo song."
He nods.

Jin-woo: "Yes wanna see the lyrics so you can record it today."
She nods excited. And Kai swears he mutters "Cute" under his breath.

Jin-woo: "Ok everyone but Moonbyul can leave. We'll practice tomorrow."
Everyone walks back outside to the elevator one by one the leave the building.

Moonbyul's P.O.V
I walk to our recording studio and start recording.

After I was satisfied with the track I went out to find Kai sitting outside. I walk pass him ignoring him. He grabs my hand pulling me into his chest.

Kai: "Hey Moonbyul I need to talk to you."
I pull away from him harshly.

Me: "Well I don't want to talk to you Kim Jongin."
He flinched at my harsh tone.

Kai: "I'm sorry byulie. Give me 3 minutes please?"
I flinch at the old nickname.

Me: "Fine, but don't every call me that again."
I look him dead in the eyes. He nods breathing a sigh of relief.

Kai: "I want to apologize because I hurt you and traumatized you. I'm sorry that I even allowed him to touch you and come near you. I'm sorry I didn't save you from him. Please give me another chance to make you happy baby."
I look away from him, my eyes glossing over. He hooks a finger under my chin pulling me back to look at him. I push away.

Moonbyul: "Don't touch me Kai!!"
I look at him with tears running down my face. I hope he sees the shame, the regret,and the disgust in my eyes. He goes to pulls me again and I struggle to push him away.

???: "SHE SAID DON'T TOUCH HER IDIOT."
Someone pulls Kai away from me and grabs me by the hand pushing me behind him.

Kai: "This doesn't involve you Yoongi."
With sobs catching in my throat I watch the scene unfold in-front of me. Kai tries pulling me back towards him rather harshly too. I snatch my hand away from him hearing a pop and a crack in the process. I yell out holding my hand against my chest falling on the ground.

Kai looks back at me after realizing what just happened. Yoongi puts me on his back and runs towards his company van ignoring Kai's cries and apologies. He puts me in the van and hops in beside me. I cradle my hand choking on my sobs. Yoongi looks at me with pity in his eyes.

After a few minutes the sobs have stopped but the tears rolling from my eyes aren't from sadness but instead they're from betrayal and anger. Yoongi looks at me the whole time as he wipes the tears with a handkerchief. It stays silent until we arrive at a hospital. Yoongi softly grabs my arms, slowly lifting me up, trying not to scare me. I let him carry me into the hospital up to the front desk. The clerk immediately recognizes us and allows us through.

Yoongi: "Please dont let anyone know we were here."
She nods frantically. A doctor walks by and sees us and bring us to a room.

Doctor: "What seems to be the problem Mr. and Ms."
He looks up at us with a smile. His smile falters when he sees the tear stains on my cheeks.

Yoongi: "Her Ex-boyfriend broke her hand please check if it's serious she has a MAMA performance coming up soon."
He talks softly trying not to cause any suspicion about the situation.

The doctor grabs my hand softly. I groan in pain another yelp leaving my mouth. He quickly apologizes putting my hand back down. He beckons me to follow him into another room. I follow behind him to a X-ray room I believe.

Doctor: "I'm just gonna take a X-ray to see if it's really broken ok."
I nod.

Me: Can I have a tissue please."
I say my voice hoarse from the crying and yelling. He quickly gets up and grabs a tissue, handing it to me. I take it and dab at my eyes and cheeks. While I was doing that he put the protective covering over my hand already taking three X-rays of my hand. After I finished I tossed it in the trash can and he led me back to the main room.

Doctor: "I'll be back in a minute with your X-rays."

He comes back and shows us the pictures. He starts explaining that I'm going to need surgery and I'm gonna be in a cast for a few weeks until I heal properly. Me and Yoongi nod along understanding the seriousness of the injury.

Doctor: "We can do the surgery right now if you'd like. But it'll take 3 weeks to heal."
I nod wanting to get it over with.

Doctor: "Ok let's got to the ER over here."

*After the surgery*

After the surgery my hand was put in a cast. After all the paperwork and stuff, Yoongi took me back to my dorm. Him and I got out of the van and started walking towards my dorms. I stopped him for a minute and looked at him. He stares at me questionably. I smile at him in appreciation.

Me: "Thanks Yoongi if it wasn't for you...... I don't know what would have happened."
I say my eyes visibly tearing up. He grabs my face gently and wipes my tears before the completely fall.

Yoongi: "Hey don't think about it, and you're welcome Moonbyul."
He smiles his gummy smile at me. I blush in embarrassment. He stares at me for a while before pulling me closer to his face. Our lips inches apart.

Solar: "Moonbyulie Where have you be-?!!"
She gasps seeing the scene before her. We ignore her and continued to press our lips together. After about 5 seconds he pulls away smiling at Solar and winking at me.

Yoongi: "Bye Moonbyul see you whenever you want to hang out."
I touch my lips feeling my face heat up. I look back at Solar to see her glaring at me. I smile sheepishly.

Solar: "You have some explaining to do young lady!!!!"
