Lily sat to the side while the boys brainstormed ways to cause trouble that year. Finally she had had enough. She ran out of the compartment and went in search if Severus. She found him sitting alone in a compartment right in the center of the train. It seemed that no one wanted to sit with him, so he was left alone. Lily ran up to him and gave him a hug. They talked until the trolley lady arrived, and then talked some more, this time feasting on candy. They discussed everything, from candy to houses and everything in between. They laughed together, because with each other, they were home.
