Prologue

---------------

He was never the kind of guy to get into confrontations or argue much, however, he will. His life is changing and who knows if it's for the better. All that he knows is that things are happening while he's in a crucial stage of life.

As he is a dramatic child, he recites his poems in his room. Thinking, perhaps, that his family is still asleep. It is a somber sunrise this day of all days.

"Oh woe to all that hear mine plea~ How will I ever bare this indignity that is life? Such morning dew shall bring no light, but only fear! Fear of the other worlds that I-"

"Wirt! It's six in the morning, can't you just say your anxiety filled writings in your head?", calls the young mans father from down stairs.

A light blush fills Wirt's cheeks as he scrabbles to put a way his poems. He calls out to his father with a nervous tone.

"uh.... W-what poems? I don't write poems!"

It was his mother who next spoke.

"Sure, hun, and we aren't moving today."

Wirt lets out a haughty huff and gets dressed.

"I swear this place has always had thin walls. Hope the new house has better insulation."

His brother, Greg, excitedly opens Wirt's door.

"Wirt! Me and Salazar the Coronel Mc Froggington-"

"Salazar the Coronel Mc Froggington and I."

"Salazar the Coronel Mc Froggington and I, helped make pancakes for breakfast!"

"That's great Greg, I'm proud of you."

Greg beamed and took his frog with him. Wirt shook his head lightly and sighed.

"I told him to give him a shorter name....", Wirt murmured.

"I didn't want to!", Greg shouts from down stairs.

Wirt flinched and groaned.

"Definitely can't wait for the new house..."

---------

Wirt and his family spent the rest of the day putting the personal belongings that fit in the car. The movers already packed most of their things. Now Wirt and Greg are saying their last good byes to their friends before they leave.

"I'm going to miss you Wirt.", Sara says.

Wirt smiles nervously and hugs her. She hugs him back before letting go. They are quiet for a minute before Sara hits Wirt's arm in a playful manner. She laughs and he laughs with her, easing his nerves.

"You know... I always liked you."

"You did?"

"Yeah, I mean, before your confession poems-"

"*Fake cough* I don't write poems *Fake cough*"

"Haha right."

She holds his hands for a moment. He looks at them briefly before looking at her.

"I thought you were a cute, awkward mess. I found it charming."

Wirt blushed heavily.

"T-thank you! I -uh- mean..."

Sara giggles. She lets go of his hands.

"I'm going to miss you."

"I'll miss you too..."

"Kids! It's time to get in the car!"

"Oh... I have to go now, bye Sara...."

"Good bye, Wirt. Write to me some time!"

"Will do!", Wirt calls over as he runs to the car.

Sara and a few others watch the car drive away.

Bye for now!
