School came and Wirt was walking to class. Then things got worse.

He got shoved into a locker. Some one was watching him the minute he entered the front school yard. The person waited until he was passing a certain locker and pushed him in. Wirt was staring at the shadowy figure standing in front of him.

"Let me guess...to tell me who is in charge?"

The figure nodded. Wirt sighed.

"At least give me something to do!"

The figure handed him a book.

"Hum. Nice choice, my favorite author. Thank you."

The door was shut and locked. He was left in a cramped, hot locker for a while. Lunch time rolled by and the door opened again.

"I'm finished."

The silent figure gave him an apple and switched the books.

"Thank you."

When lunch was almost over the figure took the apple core and once again closed the door.

When he was finally able to get out it was after school. His parents were called by the principle and they called the police.

"Thanks, you have no idea how cramped it is in there! My back hurts!"

"And exactly who did this?"

"Don't know, never saw a face. But he did give me books to read and some thing to eat. This is the second book, I finished it too. You know...if you had waited a little longer he would have probably got me out and you have got him in trouble. For some one who shoved me in a locker, he was pretty consider it."

"He locked you in there all day."

"I know. But....eh."

He shrugged and they went home. He went to sleep with weird dreams.

Wirt was running in a forest. It was dark and he wanted to get home.

"AH!"

He fell and some thing was on top of him. A creature stared down at him and got closer. He sweated in fear. What was it going to do?

"Mine."

Weird dream right?

Well, Wirt thought so too and took a walk in the early morning. Before the sun was even up.
