"Who was calling?" Jeongguk asked from the couch. Taehyung made his way back to him and sat himself down.

He sighed heavily turning over to Jeongguk, "Just a friend." He was weary of what he would tell Jeongguk. After all, the two were friends, being the same age.

"Are we going to continue?"

"Yeah. Sorry." Taehyung patted down the areas beside him as he looked side to side searching for the script. Reaching over to the edge of the couch he picked up the papers and cleared his throat.

He glanced at Jeongguk as the younger started recalling the lines standing up playing the parts as if they were really acting out the characters.

Jeongguk didn't say anything about what Taehyung almost did before his phone went off. There was no way that his actions weren't to kiss, he went full throttle willing to take the risk, but couldn't even follow through.

It made it embarrassing on Taehyung's side and even thought Jeongguk said nothing about it, he still had doubts in his mind that Jeongguk was thinking about it too but decided to act unfazed.

If Taehyung knew how Jeongguk felt he'd only be more confused. Jeongguk's heart was pounding out of his chest when Taehyung went to answer the call. He didn't know what was going on at first, till he caught it before it was too late.

Jeongguk felt short out of breath. That wasn't apart of the script, but the position implied itself.

This wasn't him, Jeongguk was working himself up on something that could of happened, but didn't. When he was around Taehyung started feeling uncomfortable when he would do small things like this, like he was falling for him.

A thousand no's streamed his thoughts, being the last thing he would want. This was already going against everything that he was trying to do. Practicing with Taehyung wasn't helping him get fired, it was helping him stay.

He couldn't remember his train of thought when accepting the invitation to practice all together. What was going on in his head?

When he looked at Taehyung, he felt nothing when he really tried to think about it. But he didn't understand what was causing the sensation in his stomach.

Even when Taehyung has finished the call with whomever it was, he was aggravated because it was wasting his time when he should be focusing on him and practicing.

Taehyung anxiously looked at Jeongguk as he read slightly ahead, what he was supposed to say. They approached the line and having to say Sohyun's parts when interacting with Jeongguk he pushed back his blonde hair.

"You never kiss me."

Jeongguk was breaking his barrier, the line between work and personal life. Jeongguk was supposed to kiss Sohyun at that point but Taehyung stood their in front of him. Another goddamn exception if he was going to allow this happened.

They stood still in front of each other, staying close enough to have their breaths mingle when Jeongguk took a couple steps forward. But that's all it was. The only things Jeongguk knew kept crumbling around him when he was with Taehyung.

He was supposed to leave everything behind at the retreat, but he messed up again at the party. But Taehyung knew as well that things shouldn't be more and their meshing breathes. He was going to hangout with Jaehyun and who knows what that the hangout entailed or could lead.

Taehyung wasn't sure if he had genuine feelings for his co-star or lustful intentions. He didn't want to ruin a chance at a real relationship than chasing after one that was close to impossible.

Taehyung had his hands on Jeongguk's shoulders while he had his placed onto Taehyung's hips. With the scripts tossed somewhere to the side, Taehyung's lips were parted unhelpfully.

Jeongguk fluttered his eyes and Taehyung's doe ones looked to search for something in his. A sign, a sparkle, something to tell him that the thought of kissing him isn't a sin.

Was it so wrong that he wanted to embrace in a feverish kiss and feel the heat of his body against his? Jeongguk was another world of temptation and having him so close yet so far, made Taehyung even more eager.

"Are you a-afraid?" Taehyung almost choked up. He couldn't remember what was next, what he was going to say after, he kept searching in his eyes for his answer but it was neutral and dull.

"No, but if you want a kiss... Then kiss me."

Then he found it, the small turn of Jeongguk's lips and he couldn't hide how his eyes brightened and creased softly after saying the line. All Taehyung need to do was move a little closer and their lips would touch.

There was no need for other thoughts he was going to do it earlier, second times a charm. He hoped that he didn't need a third.

Tugging on Jeongguk's shoulders forwards he connected their plush lips and Taehyung wrapped his arms around his neck as he went to deepen the kiss. Taehyung didn't know till now the hunger he had in him in the way he tried to devour Jeongguk's lips. Like he was starving for his close touch, he didn't stop and was scared there wouldn't be a next time.

When Jeongguk poked his tongue out to swipe Taehyung's bottom lip for entrance made Taehyung happy because he was responding back.

Jeongguk could of stopped there if he wanted. If he had enough control in himself to settle his hormones he could of prevented them from landing in this position.

Not only was Jeongguk out of it, Taehyung was getting caught up in the moment that in reaction to Jeongguk's skillful kisses he bit down on Jeongguk's lip.

"Careful doll face."

He wiped the small drop of blood from his lip, with his finger grinning at Taehyung. He lost it.

Jeongguk broke out of character.

From a man who buys a new house for each role he did, this was serious. Even if this was practice, this was completely estrange to Jeongguk, but Taehyung wouldn't understand that.

Jeongguk was out of his comfort zone, but in that moment he didn't care because he kept saying that this was the exception.

Before it could go any farther, Jeongguk grabbed onto Taehyung's wrists behind him and dragged them down the front of chest. He huffed, walking back and shoved his script back into his bag.

"I think we did enough practicing." He walked to the front door and put on his shoes, "See you tomorrow."

He walked out the door and Taehyung stood there, processing The rave of it all. He knew what he was doing but at the same time he didn't.

Every time they did something like this, was very confusing to the older. Nothing was ever easy with them. There was never a direct answer and things seem to have happened on its own and would unravel anytime they were alone.

Taehyung allows himself to be trapped in this hole where he lets himself be consumed by Jeongguk and the entirety of his pleasurable presence.

Jeongguk just left him there. Taehyung sat himself on the couch and placed his arm on the edge with his hands covering his face. His thin lengthy fingers shadowed the front of his face when he stared down in his lap.

Not only would he have Jeongguk on his mind but now his thoughts will also be occupied with the events that would unfold tomorrow.

🎬

Taehyung was standing in front of the restaurant that Jaehyun told him to meet him up at. It was rather fancy with its grand exterior and when walking through the glass doors, sophisticated looking servers had greeted him with a bow out of respect.

For some odd reason, he felt a bit out of place. He wasn't the type of person to go out for fine dining for just to hang out.

Even if his friends had money that they could spend on these sort of outings, they were normally the type of people to stick to the simpler places and things to do.

Taehyung told the person at the front desk that the reservation was under the name Jaehyun. The lady kindly escorted him to a private room and Taehyung was more than amazed when he saw that the interior of the smaller room is even more extravagant than the rest of the restaurant.

Jaehyun was sitting in one of the white cushioned chairs, pouring white wine into the empty glasses. He turned his head over when he heard the sound of the door close when the lady left the room.

Taehyung was starstruck with the scenery that could be seen out the window. The restaurant was higher above ground and through the glass there was a near perfect view of the golden sun starting to set. The right amount of clouds were in the sky to create a ray of pastel orange and pinks meshed into an ombré. The lights of the city turned on below as it was triggered by the descending sun.

"Come take a seat." Jaehyun gestured to the seat in front of him. Taehyung managed to break out of his daze and grabbed the wine glass and swished his drink.

"This wasn't quite the restaurant I was imagining." Taehyung said comparing this to his own personal taste in hangout spots.

"You shouldn't expect anything but the best."

Right off the bat, Taehyung didn't feel any sort of connection with Jaehyun. Even with his smooth sultry voice, Taehyung was immune to the effect it would posses on other people.

Jaehyun cocked a brow holding out his drink and Taehyung clang their drinks togethers in cheers.

Taehyung didn't know how to respond back to the latter so he stayed in silence drinking the substance from his glass.

"How is filming going?" Jaehyun started.

That might of been one of the last things Taehyung wanted to talk about because not that long ago, he could of been fired. But he wasn't going to tell Jaehyun that, would make the rest of the evening uncomfortable.

"It's been alright, it's been a bit stressful lately." Taehyung didn't elaborate on why he was being stressed out but gave enough information that Jaehyun wouldn't press for more.

"I heard that you and Jeongguk were practicing lines the other day."

He didn't have to worry that he would continue the topic, but when he mentioned the younger he felt himself pressing his body close together and his heart palpitating faster just thinking about him.

"You guys must be close." Taehyung swallowed thickly grabbing his drink to finish off the glass.

"We check up on one another occasionally. The typical things best friends should do." He nodded and Jaehyun filled his glass noticing it was empty.

If they were best friends he wondered if Jeongguk even told Jaehyun the things they've done together. But if he did, Taehyung was sure that Jaehyun wouldn't be as friendly as he was right now.

Even though this hangout was for them to get to know each other, Jaehyun kept asking questions about him and never really said anything about himself.

Even when their food came, which was seafood platters conversational talks included him answering whatever question Jaehyun would ask him. Taehyung barely had a chance to ask him any questions, like how did him and Jeongguk meet? Or how long have they known each other?

Till Taehyung realized what all his questions had involved was Jeongguk. He didn't have any questions for Jaehyun about himself and him as a person but him knowing Jeongguk, he had a list of questions he had for him.

Did that make him a bad person, here Jaehyun was trying to do whatever it is he's trying to do and Taehyung's head was still wrapped around the younger. He must of been going crazy.

Maybe life's had too many coincidences, everywhere he went it seemed he'd always either see or hear about the younger.

For a minute, he was going to let himself be present with Jaehyun and have a nice dinner that he planned out.

"Taehyung, pardon my curiosity but have you ever had a sex partner." Taehyung nearly choked on the food he was swallowing.

"Of course not, do you?!" He lied through his teeth, but in a way it was a white lie considering Taehyung didn't know how to even describe the relationship he had with Jeongguk.

"Jeongguk was." This time Taehyung dropped his fork down clashing on his plate and clumsily tried to pick it back up but knocked it off the table.

When Taehyung picked it back up from under the table Jaehyun smiled at him. "I was kidding."

Taehyung locked eyes with him nodding, "Right..." Jaehyun burst into laughter and continued on with the evening.

He found out everything about Taehyung he needed. His suspicions were correct.
