!! CHAPTER SEVENTEEN !!

I am invested into each character I make and I hope you love them as much as I do! 🌷🌸🌷

Taehyung woke up sick to his stomach. He clutched onto the pained area and groaned rolling around in his bed while his alarm clock went off.

He rolled so much that he eventually dragged the sheets along with him into a burrito when he collapsed on the ground. A big thud echoed in his room and another tired groans escaped from his lips.

He took his hands out of the sheets and placed them flat on the cold floor trying to stand himself up. Almost slipping on the blanket when he was finally on his two feet.

He tossed on whatever was closest in his closet.

Despite only really having a couple cups of the alcoholic drink, he didn't think that was the reason for his upset stomach. Maybe it was something he ate yesterday because his tolerance was better than two cups.

He made himself a coffee and brought it in a flask bottle to go on his way to work. Not sure if it will upset his stomach more, he drove to work and took sips of his drink either way.

Taehyung followed regular protocols and went straight to his dressing room to get ready.

"Hello." He bowed greeting everyone and the same ladies all said hello back.

Taehyung got dressed before getting his makeup done, sitting down waiting for his favorite stylist to finish preparations (just because she didn't cover his mole).

"How did you like the retreat?" She began to question patting on his face with the foundation.

"It somewhat reached my expectations on what I thought it would be like." Taehyung mumbled as the lady hummed switching next to shadows. "Why didn't you go?" Taehyung didn't recognize her being there throughout the whole trip, so it was safe to assume she didn't go.

"I was taking care of my son, he's only 2 years old. Besides, I have two jobs outside of this that I couldn't miss." Taehyung listened to her and refrained from nodding his head to prevent any mistakes with the makeup.

"What's his name?" He asked curiously.

"Jeonghan."

"That's a very cute name." Looking at the lady who moved down to applying tint on his lips.

"He's a strong boy, just like his father." She started backing away from Taehyung to put all the makeup away. "You're all done."

"Thank you." He smiled and started to walk out the door of his dressing room, "Say hi to Jeonghan for me! I'd love to meet him one day."

"We'll see."

Taehyung was in a playful mood now and eventually his stomach pains went away sometime during his ride to work. He even almost forgot how much of an asshole Jeongguk was to him yesterday till he saw him walking on the set.

Not a second glance spared between the two, but Jeongguk casually getting into the red vehicle, used as a prop.

"Hey, how was your weekend?" Sohyun walked up to him and had her hand on his shoulder.

"It was alright." He shrugged, tossing his arms over his chest, seeing how Jeongguk fixed strands of hair looking through the overhead mirror.

"I think I spent the majority of my weekend sleeping." Sohyun laughed sliding her hand off of Taehyung.

"That sounds amazing." Taehyung wished he had a similar weekend like his friend but didn't.

"Did you hear about the photoshoot tomorrow?" Sohyun's brought up out of the ordinary.

"No? What photoshoot?" Taehyung automatically thought about his scheduled modelling shoots and upcoming dates but none that were for tomorrow. He didn't think it was related to the movie they were filming.

"We are having pictures taken for the movie poster." His co-worker explained and he chimed, "Ah!"

"I wasn't aware." He confessed thinking about how she gets her information.

"Instead of filming, tomorrow will be the photoshoot. Nothing to special, they don't need a million pictures for a photo book, just a few that they could make for the movie poster. You're used to photoshoots you've done modelling gigs, so this should come easy to you." Sohyun started walking onto the set after hearing them being called to be on deck.

"You could say that I guess..." Taehyung moved to positions, standing outside of Jeongguk's side of the car and Sohyun getting in the passenger seat of the red vehicle.

Jeongguk continued to look at his reflection in the mirror, picking at any imperfections before the director started counting down.

"3...2...1...Action!"

Jeongguk started rolling down the window his eyes were empty looking into Taehyung's when he perched his arm on the side.

"Am I interrupting something?" Taehyung recalled his lines placing his hands were the window used to be looking inside the car to make eye contact with Sohyun who looked the other direction.

"You were, now if you will..."Jeongguk pried Taehyung's hands off the car and started to close up the window again, but Taehyung put his hand on the half opened glass window making Jeongguk stop closing it.

"Chaerin... You want to stay with him?" Taehyung called out Sohyun's character's name.

She finally turned around to look at Taehyung, "I'm fine... I just didn't think-" she was cut off purposely by Taehyung who interrupted, "What? That I would find about you two? I know you didn't want to hurt me... But it hurts me more that you lied to me about not seeing him." He let out a heavy sigh. "I guess this means I should go then." Taehyung loosened his grip on the glass and took a couple steps back from the car with his head hung low. The camera zooms closer to his face, and at this point Taehyung thinks about something to help produce the tears for the specific scene.

What will make him cry? What will make him so upset that how the character is feeling could be portrayed well?

He thought about the day he and Namjoon broke up.

His head is down low and he can see the silver band that is around his finger. It was the promise ring he was never able to give to Namjoon. All he had to think was how shitty he felt that day and all the beautiful things he was going to say before giving the symbolic gift. The things that were left unsaid.

He shed the tears and felt the heart wrenching agony of a emptiness. A moment where he felt so alone and lost, a moment that he didn't think he would have to relive again.

It starts to rain.

Taehyung is right beside a bus stop set. The water drenches his hair and clothing to his skin. The mixture of rain and tears become unrecognizable to distinguish between the two. The car pulls up beside him and it's Jeongguk and Sohyun.

Sohyun rolls down her window and the rain just gets louder and harder with each second. "Seowoo get in the car! You're gonna get sick!" She called out his character, but Taehyung was still stuck in his state of mind.

He started to think like his character, even though he knows what he's gonna do, he knows why he should do the things he does. "I'm fine!" Taehyung yelled.

In Seowoo's case, he witnessed his his best friend who was also his first love ask him to get into the car of a man that she's seeing. Even if the man she was seeing has morals, Seowoo would be walking into his own misery, just to bask in what he can't have.

Taehyung would rather be sick then have to be in the car with the person who won his love's heart.

"Stop being stubborn and get in the car!" She yelled over the pitter patter of the rain.

"I said no!" He almost screamed his voice turned scratchy, as his eyes looked every which way on the floor. "Just go." Taehyung's voice was demanding being able to look at Sohyun who's lips quivered looking back at him.

The red car slowly disappeared from the camera's view. Taehyung huddled his arms around his body for warmth as the camera man got one last wide shot before the director called "Cut!"

"Yeah... I don't know... I think we should do that scene again." The water stopped and Taehyung's blonde locks dropped from his face.

"The whole scene?!" Taehyung was flabbergasted and in shock.

"It's better to see if we can more shots, this scene is a crucial part and it needs to be perfect." The director tried to explain having a hand under his chin.

"I thought it was already perfect..." Taehyung quietly murmured to himself. He didn't want to go through all of that all over again. Best if possible if he didn't have to rejuvenate in sorrowful memories. He thought that's the best he could do, he laid out all his cards in that one scene and they might have to do it again?

"Can someone get him a towel." The director swirled his pointer finger in the air. "We are going to do a retake of the scene. Where are the stylist? His hair needs to be dried and fixed."

The tapping sound of heels came closer when his personal stylist walked onto the set with a towel in her hand. "Mr.Kim, you're shivering? Are you that cold?" She wrapped the towel around him. She stood beside him putting her hands on his shoulders, leading him to the dressing room. Taehyung hugged the blanket around his frame for warmth.

When the lady close the door behind her Taehyung began to frantically shake his head letting the droplets of water drip from his hair onto the ground.

"I can't do it again. I just can't."

More tears started to form and leak from his eyes. He huddled his arms close to his body as he thought about having to go through the same pain all over again.

The stylist rubbed his back hushing to him, "Everything is going to be okay." She watched as the actor broke down in front of her, completely vulnerable with his erratic emotions.

Taehyung clung onto The sleeves of the stylist shirt as he whimpered on her shoulder holding onto her as if he would collapse if he didn't hold onto anything.

At a time like this, or even profession like this, no one would suspect that the scene was taking a major toll on Taehyung.

This was a part of the job description, he supposed to be an actor and being an actor means that sometimes you have to make yourself feel a certain way so that you can perform a scene correctly. He was doing the best he could, feeling all these expectations of him because the other cast he worked with.

The stylist continued to try to sooth Taehyung at least for him to regain steady breaths. Which eventually he did as she patted circles on his back. "It might be a lot to handle, but I think you are more than capable to do the job. I don't know how much I can do for you, but I can tell the director you'll need a bit more time before going back on set. How does that sound?"

Her suggestion wasn't a bad one and Taehyung knew this was the kind of stuff he signed up for becoming an actor. "Alright. Thank you." He unclenched the towel and let it just rest on his shoulders.

"Why don't you sit in that chair and I'll be back in a moment before we start doing touch ups?" She pointed at the seat in front of the mirror and started walking back to the door, "Clara will come and get you another identical outfit for you to change into." She mentioned, right after shutting the door behind her when she left the dressing room.

Taehyung was left alone in his wandering thoughts. Specifically how he agonized about doing a retake of the scene.

The door opened to his dressing room, getting Taehyung out of his head from over analyzing things, and the other girl cane into the room with clothes resting on her arm.

"I'll put these on the couch for you to change into." Clara announced before slipping out the door.

Taehyung walked over and stripped out of the drenched clothing and changed into the dry pair.

After the stylist came back and touched up his makeup and hair, he sluggishly walked out of the room and saw Jeongguk resting his back against a pole while on his phone. He brought his head up and met with Taehyung's eyes that were slightly puffy. Jeongguk was opening his mouth when Taehyung decided to say something first. "I'm not in the mood for your mood swings, so if you could just piss off that would be great thanks."

"Someone has their panties in a twist." Jeongguk got up from the pole and and walked up to Taehyung closing up the proximity.

"Like I said before, I'm not in the mood to deal with your shit." The older put his hand on the others shoulder before brushing it to the side as he walked away.

"Taehyung, you alright?" Sohyun came from around the corner and jogged up to Taehyung passing by Jeongguk.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Why?" He continued to just walk around the building of the set.

"You're crying." Sohyun put her hands on his shoulder to stop him from moving and swiped her index finger across his cheek feeling how dampness was wiped across his face.

"Oh."

"I know that sometimes it takes a lot out of someone to make yourself cry. But I remind myself to just breathe and take a couple breaths to focus on myself. Before we go on set again, take a couple seconds to focus on your breathing. It'll help prepare your mind to be calm before rein acting the same kind of emotion again." She explained and the male just sighed heavily.

"Everyone back on set!" The announcement echoed in the room.

"Remember what I said okay?" With that, Sohyun walked off another direction to get to her position.

"Breathe.Taehyung.Breathe."
