It was already the next morning. Jeungguk and Taehyung couldn't wait to start their day as they consciously lay in each other's arms at the moment. Sunlight slowly brushing through their mellow face that had a content smile as they stared at one another.

Admiring one another was the first thing they did today as they woke up from their slumber. This was going to become a competition soon enough. Who would get to admire the other's face for a longer time?

"Good morning Jeungguk. We should probably get of bed at least now if we are going to be going to our respective work stations." Taehyung finally spoke up. Having stared enough at his husband's face. He wondered if he was going to regret giving the other a second chance.

But something inside him told him that he wouldn't. And he chose to believe that he wholeheartedly placed his trust in Jeungguk for one last time. Don't mess up this time as well Jeungguk. My heart won't be able to handle another heartbreak.

Taehyung thought as Jeungguk only continued to smile at him. He slowly took his fingers and brushed them on the other's face as the bunny-like husband closed his eyes, engulfing the warmth and affection.

"Bunny. Come on." Taehyung urged on one more time and this time Jeungguk seemed to give in. He got off the bed and headed to the bathroom to start with his set morning routine as Taehyung tidied up the bed.

After about another hour the couple could be seen walking down to the living room. Hand in hand, as their maids looked at them in shock. Jeungguk nodded to them as they seemed to understand what was going on with their masters. Finally. They thought before proceeding to serve breakfast for the two.

For the first time since Taehyung's arrival, there was no silence at the breakfast table as the two spoke and giggled. They laughed and bubbled at one another's comments. While parting ways to their respective places, Jeungguk had pulled in Taehyung for a hug but the latter was always full of surprises.

He pulled his husband closer as he pecked the other'slips. This was going to be Jeungguk's favourite hobby now and without wastingany time, he placed one back on Taehyung's cherry lips. "Have a good day atwork bunny." The elder said as a pink hue adored his cheeks.

"You too," Jeungguk replied, with a shy smile. He was whipped for Taehyung as Taehyung was also whipped for him. Taehyung stood there as he watched Jeungguk's car pull out of the driveaway and out of the gate. He sighed as he walked towards his own car.

But before he could start, Hyera came running in towards him with two boxes in hand. He looked at her questioningly as she held the two in front of her. "Sir had instructed us to pack lunch for the both of you every day, starting from today. But he forgot to take his own, so can you please drop it to him on your way to work sir?" she asked.

Taehyung smiled sweetly and nodded at her as he took the boxes from her. He waved to her warmly as he began to drive towards Jeungguk's lair first. They were in the opposite directions but he wasn't going to complain. He was going to meet his husband anyway.

He approached the lair soon as he called Nayeon to inform him about his late arrival. He found out that he doesn't have an appointment until two hours later and that was the perfect time he needed to drop off the lunch and get to his office.

"Oh perfect. I will be there on time, don't worry." He said Nayeon, as he walked inside. He looked towards the darkroom but there seemed to be something important going on. So he looked around to find some familiar face and that's when he saw Yunki hyung walking out of the same room.

"Hey hyung!" he said, waving to Yunki for the first time. Yunki, confusedly looked around him to confirm if the younger was calling out to him itself. "is there anything I can do for you Taehyung?" he asked as he slowly approached him.

"Yes hyung. Can you hand this over to Jeungguk? Thank you." He said as he passed on the box to Yunki. He turned to leave but Yunki stopped him. "Wait. Meet Jeungguk and go." Yunki said, but Taehyung said he was in a hurry to leave and so Yunki let go of the other.

The sun should've risen from the south today. Taehyung smiled at him. And spoke to him with honorifics. It isn't like Yunki was in love with Taehyung. He would never do that to Jeungguk. He was just surprised is all.

He shakingly walked into Jeungguk's room as he showed the box in front of Jeungguk. Jeungguk raised his eyebrows as he looked back and forth from Yunki to the box.

"What do you want me to do with the box Yunki?" he said. He was at work and was cold to everyone else around him at such a time. "Unless there is a dead body inside it, I am not going to bother about it," he said as he planned on going back to work.

"I-it is from Taehyung." Yunki finally said, getting out of his shock and within seconds the box disappeared from his fingertips. He looked up to see Jeungguk opening the box and looking at it with delight.

"Where is Taehyung?" Jeungguk asked. Yunki just sat down on the available chair in front of him as he shrugged his shoulder. "He said he had to go back the cause of an emergency and left." He hadn't known he was going to start a war when he said that.

"And you didn't tell him to stay because?" Jeungguk asked as he slowly rose from his chair and walked towards Yunki. Dangerously slowly making Yunki gulp in fear. He wouldn't show it to Jeungguk and boost his already sky-rocketing ego though.

"I did. I tried to make him stay. I told him a couple of times but he seemed to have an important meeting to attend and he had to leave. His phone was also ringing continuously." Yunki said. Holding the fear beneath the cold demeanour that he currently had on.

Jeungguk only nodded, seemingly satisfied with the answer as Yunki had seemed to genuinely try to make the elder stay. He sighed in content as he sat down to eat the different contents, packed within the box.

"He should've stayed and had lunch with me. How can he have anything more important than me?" Jeungguk whined silently to himself, but somehow the super humane Namjoon who had just walked in hearing him.

"look at you whining and being a baby over your own husband." Namjoon snickered as he walked in. he surprised both the males present in the room while walking in with the atrocious remark of his.

"Oh Namjoonie, you have no idea what happens to you when it comes to love," Yunki spoke. Namjoon looked confused at Yunki. "Even you? Even you have fallen for Kim Taehyung's charms?" Namjoon questioned.

Jeungguk was already to fight Yunki down to death at that very moment. They have been partners in crime, literally, for ten years but he can't have a chance against himself for Taehyung.

"no way. I was talking about someone else." Jeungguk who was ready to punch square up on Yunki held back as he was now interested in the elder's love story. "So, who is it?"

"It is Taehyung's best friend," Yunki said. And almost immediately, Namjoon was ready to refute. "Wtf do you mean by his best friend? Keep your eyes, nose, and even the air you breathe away from Jin."

"So, Jin huh?" Jeungguk said as he smirked at Namjoon and the new information he had just received. "When and how did this happen?" he asked, as he leaned towards Namjoon a little more. The one who had been behind them about love being all bs was also secretly in love.

"Nothing is going on between us. I just like him but he doesn't talk much to me. I met him when I visited Taehyung's show-room inauguration." Namjoon said, now putting his head down on having revealed his secret. Fuck you Namjoon for having outed yourself like that! He cursed himself silently in his head.

That's when Hoseok walked in. he was in a relationship with Naeyon and they were also very public about it. the last time they heard about the relationship was when Hoseok had come to them to ask for proposal ideas.

Turned out it was indeed, a bad idea. Asking a mafia leader and his right-hand men weren't necessarily convenient when it came to love affairs. "So, have you proposed to Naeyon or not?" Jeungguk asked. Since it was the topic of love anyway, it is better to ask everyone's status is what the young mafioso had thought.

"Umm, yes? Why are you guys suddenly interested?" he asked as he was flabbergasted on having been asking about his relationship status. He bolted back out of the room and forgot to say the thing he had come.

Jeungguk and the others laughed at his flabbergasted state as they continued to tease Hoseok who had run away a decade ago. After having settled down, Jeungguk called Hoseok back in and asked about the real reason for the latter's arrival.

In the entire lair, Hoseok is the only one who is work focused even with the work they had. He only spoke when it was about work and otherwise remained closed off.

"Sire, there has been an invasion in our Japan base and we might have to go there to solve it. there is a group, that is still underground, who is planning a conspiracy about this." He said and the other three got serious.

"Namjoon, who is this group? Could you hack into any of the systems in the Japan base to get information about them?" Jeungguk asked Namjoon. While Namjoon went back to check on the given information, he informed the others in the lair to be ready for another one of their missions.

"Yunki, you have some suspicions don't you?" he asked as he eyed at Yunki who looked rather determined for the mission. He didn't fret over the plan like he usually did. "I have my suspicions but I don't want to reveal until it is confirmed." He said. Jeungguk nodded in understanding and that was when Namjoon came back.

"The systems were already hacked and no other information could be obtained from them," Namjoon said, but there was a secret code in the way he spoke. Yunki had got onto it and had sent everyone else apart from Jeungguk, Namjoon and Hoseok out.

"Tell us the actual information now Namjoon," Yunki said. Jeungguk and Hobi had also caught onto the drift. They looked at Namjoon as he said, "The base is entirely trash. It doesn't look like it was done to damage people and there have been no signs of any group left either. So I am not entirely sure on who it is."

Hoseok seemed to have absorbed the news faster than anyone else. "it appears to be a trap. Are you sure you want to go there and check on the base?" he asked. "there also seems to be a snitch within the lair. They know how important that base is for us." He completed.

This put Jeungguk in thought but he wasn't sure what was to be done. He thought for a while, pondering over the possibilities of it being a trap. He couldn't think of possible solutions. A trap for what?

"If it is a trap, we will fall into it and come out. No issues. We have to go and personally check on the Japan base for sure. We will go in three days. We would need that much time to know the complete situation there and to come up with a plan. It might be for a week or so. So, be ready." Jeungguk finally said. The rest nodded and bowed before they went out.

Jeungguk stayed in there for a while, in thought. "Okay then. We will have to see how it goes." He said to himself while he also got up to leave. He made his way into the mansion and he saw Taehyung sprawled across the couch. He smiled to himself as he threw his shoes in some unknown direction as he ran and jumped on top of Taehyung.

Taehyung screamed as he fell off with Jeungguk on top of him. Jeungguk started laughing at the other's reaction. "Jeungguk, why would you do that?" he asked after having caught his heart and put it back in its place. it had jumped out a great deal during the scare.

"Because you didn't wait and have lunch with me today." Jeungguk snickered back. Taehyung looked at him blankly for a while before he also burst out laughing. "Are you serious?" he asked as he continued to laugh and fell on top of Jeungguk.

Jeungguk smoothly carried him as he walked towards their bedroom. He dropped the elder on the bed and proceeded to change in front of his husband. "Shameless." He heard Taehyung mutter. "Do you want to see how shameless I can be?" Jeungguk said as he walked towards Taehyung, shirtless.

Taehyung was silently drooling over the other's perfect body but right now wasn't the time to show it to them. It would lead to greater things and he wasn't sure if either of them were ready for it.

"Whatever." He said as he turned over and got ready to sleep instead. Jeungguk chuckled at the other's reply as he also jumped in bed along with the other. "Tell me why didn't you have lunch with me today?" Jeungguk asked again.

"bunny, we have already gone through this," Taehyung said as he yawned. He only wanted to sleep right now as he had only been waiting for Jeungguk all along. "have you eaten dinner yet?" Taehyung asked.

Jeungguk shook his head as he placed himself behind Taehyung and put his head at the crook of the other's neck. He sighed as the warm breath of Jeungguk, hit his head. "Don't you want to eat? Don't sleep on an empty stomach." Taehyung said again as he turned to face Jeungguk this time.

"I wouldn't go to bed on an empty stomach if you'd let me eat you instead." Jeungguk said with a cocky tone. Taehyung, being flustered easily, hit his husband's chest as he hid in the other's arms. "why did I even bother asking?" he then muttered, hearing Jeungguk's laughs.

"I might be going to Japan for a few days." Jeungguk then stated. Taehyung nodded before looking back at Jeungguk. "Another mission?" Jeungguk sighed as he nodded his head. "Someone trashed our base there. I am going to check the situation myself." He said.

This was the first time after their confession that they were having a serious talk. Jeungguk wanted to tell everything about what had happened in their lair that day. And so he did.

"Do you have to go then? Like hobi hyung said, it is going to be trap itself." Taehyung said. He couldn't help but worry about the other's well being. He was his husband after all. Nothing else could ever run across the other's mind.

Jeungguk sighed before he nodded. "If it is a trap, then I want to know what the other has planned. That will give me some clue about who it possibly could be at least." He said.

Taehyung could only nod before he closed his eyes as he laid back on the other's chest. "be safe Jeunggukie. You aren't alone anymore." Taehyung said as he sighed and let out a little huff.

Jeungguk chuckled at the other's action as a smile also etched itself on his face. He wasn't alone anymore. He had someone to come back to now. He had Taehyung.

He couldn't help the blooming feeling in his heart at the thought of finally having Taehyung as the cure to his ever-lasting loneliness. "I love you," Jeungguk said again as he observed the other's features. "Hmm." He got a hum from Taehyung for a reply instead as he also fell asleep.
