Third Pov.

It was the next day of your life. This time you didn't skip any classes, but it was struggling. You barely paid attention in classes and embarrass yourself after the teachers asked you a question and your guest wrong. 

Especially in Snape Class, where Snape and Merula love the bash you until you felt small. Your friends notice this too and asked you a question about why you're slacking all of suddenly. You just said that you didn't get any sleep last night. 

But yet again. Your friends know you too well, they now something wrong. You tried your best to ignore them but you kept bumping into the girl, Merula. She's always around no matter what. From the hallways to the forest. It seems like she's following you, maybe trying to exposed you. Whatever it is, you always caught her. 

Right now you're in Snape Class with Pro. Snape watching you clean...

Your Pov. 

'Why is he watching me?' I kept asking myself that question. For being a Hufflepuff, this is the most embarrassing thing ever. Hufflepuff had never skipped class since their loyal and hardworking students. That's not you right now. 

As I cleaned the inside of the cauldron, I glance over to Snake who was looking at ingredients on his shelves. This made me less nervous. As I looked back at my work, I moved my hand grabbing a spray bottle on the table. But my backhand accidentally hit a test tube rack that is full of test tubes with an unknown liquid inside of test tubes onto the floor. 

It slams into the floor with a sound of glass breaking. My eyes widen and you looked over and see all the liquid slipped on the floor with glass mix with it. 

"(Y/n)," I heard Snape growled.  

My heart... my heart stopped for a split second as fear took over me. My body stopped everything that I was doing as I just started at the mess you made. My heart rate went higher and higher as I felt Snape steps slowly coming up behind me. With my head down in shame due to me staring at the mess. I slowly turned around with my body facing him. 

"I-I-I-I-I," I quickly stuttered trying to find an excuse. But I can't, I just can't. These no point!

I panic, as I shooked my head left and right. My arms slowly moved up hugging myself. My eyes slowly watered, knowing that snape will punish you hard. From what people said, he's cold-hearted and you can feel that coldness. 

That cold-hearted reminded me of them... 

The people I wished to forget, but can't... 

My parents. 

They've been always cold-hearted towards me. They Never cared and always made me do the hard work, while the smile and laughed. I hated that but accepted my life right then there. 

"I'll clean it!" I quickly said quickly moving over to the broken glass. I couch down onto mt hands and knees. I used my bare hands to grab the glass pieces. I felt the sharp glass cut throw my skin. Mix with the unknown liquid, I grabbed all the glass pieces into both of the hands. My hands just closed onto all the sharted glass felling the glass cut deeper and deeper into my hands. 

It reminded me that day that happens, the day that I broke a plated as my farther made to squeezed down onto the glass. 

I felt so much pain all over my body, as I felt the liquid flowing into the deep cuts. It stings really bad, but a fitting punishment for me. I felt tears fall from my eyes, as they covered my face. I don't know why I'm doing this! But it feels right and wrong at the same time. 

I raised my hands in front of me as I open them. I saw only blood with bunch of shard glass stuck into my flesh. There was so much, some really deep. 

I giggled like a mad girl with the sound of a cry, "This is my fault!" I shouted at myself. I dropped my hands onto the floor as I cried. 

I then felt Snape's hand moved over to my sleeves of our uniforms and lift it up. He saw all of my cuts on my arm, from new to old. 

I let him, he's the boss and I can't do anything about that. 

He then moved on of his hand to his pocket and pulled out a bandage. He lifts me up onto the table and sat me on the top. He then sat down a chair and started to take out the glass shards from my hand. 

As he took out the glass shards one by one he talked, "Your parents, never cared for you? Correct?" He asked keeping his concentration of taking out the glass. 

All I could do is nodded and I sniffed. 

"I'll report this to Dumbledore, but I'm not here to hurt you," He said warping my hands with the bandage. 

I just nodded again. 

After he finished bandaging my hands. He stands back up and grabbed a potion from the shelves. He then popped the cap and bring the position towards my mouth.

"Drink, the liquid that entered your body is poison," He said in his cold tone. 

I slowly opened your mouth as I let him pour the drink into my mouth. I closed my mouth and swallow it all. It tasted weird, but I fell better. 

"You may leave now, and head to a doctor and get yourself checked," Snape said as he moved away. 

I blinked and jumped of from the table. I looked over to Snape who's looking over to the other side of the room. 

'He didn't punish me... he helped me... he cared... for me...' I thought to myself as I looked at my bandaged hands. 

"Um..." I quickly said looking back up to him. "Snape," I said getting his attention. 

"What is it?" He asked turning himself back around towards me.

I launched myself agaist him, pulling him into a hug. 

"Thank you!" I cried, feeling myself cry again. But not because of sadness, it's because of happiness. 

I felt him pat my back, "Your welcome, now get yourself a doctor."

Third Pov.

As (Y/n) was hugging Snape. Merula was peeping through the door and had watched the whole scene taken through.

Merula was surprised to see this type of (Y/n). That she never thought (Y/n) had. She felt sorrow for all the times she bashed for her no reason that she's just a rival to her.

Maybe... she can change... for her...
