Don't Leave Me

Omoi Tamashī's P.O.V
When I woke up again this time, I was alone in a hospital bed. Bandages were wrapped around my back, stomach, arms and my left leg. They must've bandaged the smaller wounds from the battle. Kurai and Hikari only heal wounds that are life threatening to me. I looked around. I didn't see Kakashi anywhere. I started hyperventilating as tears pooled in the corners of my eyes. Why did he leave. I paused. What if he just went to the bathroom? I took deep breathes and calmed down. Just as I calmed down, Kakashi came into the room. He seemed startled that I was awake. After sitting down he looked at me, examining me for a while, before speaking.
"What's your name?" He asked me. His voice was gentle.
"Tamashī. You can call me Tama or Shi if you want." I told him. He nodded.
"Is my brother okay?" He tilted his head.
"Brother?" I nodded.
"Gaara Anii." I told him. His eyes widened. He nodded before saying,
"Last we heard he's fine. So you come from the sand village? You don't look related to Gaara. I didn't know the Kazagage had a daughter." He said. I shook my head.
"He doesn't. Originally I was engaged to Gaara Anii, but the engagement was broken when the Kazagage executed my adoptive father for his hostility and attempted attack. Me and Gaara are more siblings than anything. He needs me. But I can't go back. The Kazagage said once I leave the village, if I ever return I'll be regarded as an enemy and killed on sight." I bowed my head as tears fell freely from my eyes and into my open palm. I clenched my fist. He went to get up.
"Please don't leave me." I begged. My voice hoarse and cracking. He sighed.
"I have to report to the hokage."
"Take me with you. Please?" I asked again. He nodded. I got up and ran to him. I put my arms in the air squeezing my fists open and closed, asking for him to pick me up. He complied and I buried my head in the crook of his neck and inhaled. My eyes became droopy and soon I was asleep.
