The great blue skies and the blanket of stars that lay before my dull vision were incandescently bright.

My room, as messy as it was, provided me with a sense of aesthetic that an artist would get from looking at her workshop. The ambience was perfectly disturbed by an astrologer booming about the alignment of stars, and how each second was vital in predicting anything.

I felt soft fur rub into my elbows. When I looked down, both my babies gazed back. Pulsing green orbs and ocean blue eyes, filled with a sense of understanding better than any human could have. "Woof. . ."

Their tails sagged, filling me with guilt. "Hey, that's okay, Evergreen. I fancy this life too!" Perhaps, putting up a smile is not as easy as people make it out to be.

However, as everyone says, dogs are pretty empathetic. For, they started cuddling my sides, sniffing often and pawing my stomach. "And I have you both to wish me on birthdays. Who else would I need? Chat Noir?"

Evergreen craned his neck at me, his tongue sticking out mischievously. I had a bad feeling about the way he looked. . .

"Woof!" My furries barked in unison, and the next thing I knew, the world was pitch black.

There ends the prologue. I know that it is pretty short! It seldom reached 2oo words. *sweatdrop*
